As soon as you got home, you jumped into Eden happily and met up with Ruki in your private server.
The second you both arrived in Kowloon Level 2 though, it was absolute chaos. Random people screaming and crying in terror, backed up against the teleporter you both just came out of.
"Fuck off!" you roared, using your enhanced strength and sending everyone in your way flying like ragdolls. You reached back and took Ruki's arm and guided her out of the crowd even as they all swarmed the teleporter again, "You alright?" you asked her in concern.
Your girlfriend rolled her eyes, "I'm fine, how can I not be with my big strong boyfriend to protect me," her reply was appropriately Ruki-level cattiness, "What the hell is going on here though?" she wondered, then pointed forward to the entrance into Level 2, where you a a data code barrier.
"What's that?" Ruki asked.
"Sloppy work," you snorted in derision, walking up you pulled up your terminal and accessed the program, easily opening up a small opening within it for you and her to pass through that would seal up after you passed.
Your girlfriend followed you through and gave the barrier a curious glance, "Wonder why they're blocking it off?"
"Some strong digimon probably appeared today and they blocked it off so they couldn't chase people out here." you replied. You looked towards deeper entrance and activated your Visualizer skill, thermal and data mode, taking a look deeper into the first area and a gasp of shock left your throat your eyes widening.
It was a fucking warzone out there! A cloud of three digimon's data was just up ahead, then a good fifty feet further you could see a Guardromon taking on a bunch of other rookies, tanking their attacks with ease.
Meanwhile, in the distance further back you could see explosions towering into the air and you thought you saw a Skull Greymon for a second before it was hidden behind another explosion.
"Holy shit!", you blurted out, "It's complete anarchy out there, champions and rookies duking it out and even some ultimate's rampaging!"
Ruki whistled and grinned, "What are waiting for then?" she punched fist into palm, "We should go take them down quickly and get all that data for ourselves."
You nodded, "Just what I'm thinking, though you're digimon aren't quite up to par even having digivolved for anything at the champion level surviving out there," you pointed out, when her grin turned into a scowl at the mention and she began glaring at you, you raised your hands in a placating gesture, "Calm down babe, I was just about to say there's three digimon worth of data just floating about, while I rush the other digimon, it'll give you time to load it with your digimon and beef them up enough that they'll be able to fuck shit up in there."
"Why didn't you say that in the first place," Ruki groused punching you in the shoulder, "And here I was about to retract my offer to come stay at your house tonight and wake you up in the morning with your cock in my mouth."
"Man you really like sucking my cock." you teased.
Ruki just grinned back, "Well you're my 'man' aren't you Hayato?" she threw your words back at you, "What's wrong about liking my big strong man's huge cock in my mouth?"
You laughed, "Man I love you." you blurted out before realizing what you said.
Her eyes widened in shock, and you threw your arms up in a placating manner, "Let's cross that bridge later and just get a move on, we're on a bit of a tight schedule after all." turning quickly so she couldn't see your own face flushing red, you thrust your digivice out, "Reload! Black Greymon X! Black Exveemon! Devimon!"
"...Gogglehead." you heard Ruki mumble, before her voice got louder again, "Reload! Kyuubimon! Saberdramon!"
After you climbed up Black Greymon X's back you turned back to your girlfriend and eyed her climbing on the back of her Kyuubimon, her face like yours still having a slight red tinge to it.
You have to admit, you like the look of her riding on the top of a majestic kyuubi and with a big fuck off savage looking black bird with a wing swan over forty feet.
Saberdramon was beast as fuck. Like an awesome non failure version of Birdramon. Your redhead was far superior to Sora.
"What's with the stupid smile on your face?" Ruki asked with a raised eyebrow once she mounted her foxy digimon.
"Nothing," you shook your head, having not even realised you were smiling, "Just thinking about how more awesome you are than the redhead from the anime series."
She rolled her eyes but smiled at the compliment nonetheless, "Obviously," replied, "I don't run around with a pink bird after all."
Well that and she was way hotter than Sora could ever hope to be, and wouldn't end up with hearts in her eyes just because a pretty boy went all emo and started a band.
God you hated Sora. Mimi was a whiny little bitch in the beginning, but turned more awesome later on, and while you weren't that big into girly girls, she trumped Sora in every way. Why Tai fell for her in story boggled your mind.
Sora proved in every way that mattered in 02, she was the Sakura Haruno of Digimon. She was useless in 01, and in 02 she went gaga for the broody 'tragic' pretty boy for no other reason than that.
"So you remember the plan?" you asked her.
"Gogglehead a retard could remember the plan," Ruki shook her head as if astounded by your stupidity, "Seriously, all I'm doing is running out there with Kyuubimon and Saberdramon and having them load that data floating there, while you go ahead and take out the rookies and Guardromon fighting."
"Pretty much," you nodded, and turned to your own digimon, patting Black Greymon X on the head, "You ready lads?"
"Ya' sure dis is a good idea boss?" Devimon input, "I mean I'm all for rushing dese' guys down for deir' data, and I'm all for takin' on anyone, but dere's multiple ultimates duking it out in dere, ya' could die just from a stray shot."
"No need to fear!" Black Exveemon boomed loudly, "I shall protect our lord with my body if I must! With the power he has bestowed on me, even the Ultimate's shall fear my power!"
"Hah! Still not as strong as me!" Black Greymon X cut in, "And since the boss is on my back anyone trying to get to him has to go through me!"
You resisted the urge to point out you beat Exveemon in a fight not that long ago.
Devimon glared at them both, "Don't think you two'll be stronga' dan me for long." the fallen angel digimon warned them.
"Not very organized huh?" Ruki mused in amusement.
"No Ruki, they seem to be entirely lacking in discipline," Kyuubimon agreed, "Maybe you should instruct your mate on how to properly lead?"
"Can we go fight now Ruki?" the massive savage beast of a black bird whined.
He was promptly whipped over the head for ruining Ruki's image by one of Kyuubimon's tails, drawing a yelp from the terrifying looking bird.
You rolled your eyes, "Let's just get going alright?"
"Gladly." Ruki groaned.
And then you were both off. With the speed of your digimon, it didn't take very long at all for you to reach into the area and by god it really was a war zone, so much more chaotic than it even looked through your Visualizer skill.
"There I see the data!" Ruki called from behind you. You did too, it was a cloud of three different colours. The one that stood out being the familiar glittering silver data type that gave Black Greymon X the X Antibody.
"I'm off Ruki!" you shouted to her, giving her a nod as Kyuubimon with Ruki on top skidded to a stop at the data, with Saberdramon landing just behind her. You and your digimon shot right through it.
And then there they were, in your sight.
The Palmon had the GOLDEN Guardromon wrapped up tight in its vines. While the Keramon and Goblimon blasted at it ineffectively with orbs of darkness and fireballs.
Your eyes hardened as you realized just what digimon it was. The same as the one that had been your closest to losing your digimon yet.
You hit Copy and Paste on your Digivice and then held your hand up, charging your most powerful attack, red light gleaming in your palm. "Bombard it boys!"
Black Greymon X roared and skidded to a halt, white hot plasma burning in his throat, while Black Exveemon landed at his side, glaring red light just like your own burning over the X on his chest, and Devimon followed suit at Black Greymon X's other side, a sphere of dark energy forming between his hands.
As one, you all attacked firing massive beams of power.
"Nuclear Laser!"
"Mega Burst!"
"X-Laser!"
"Demon Ray!"
Four massive beams of energy exploded from you and your digimons position, washing over the four fighting digimon and utterly erasing them from existence before they even realized what was going on. Even Guardromon's golden chrome digizoid armour couldn't stand up against all three of your digimon's strongest attacks added on top of your own.
All that was left was four pools of incredibly large data, though the gold one overshadowed the other three massively.
"Greymon load the gold data!" you snapped off an order. With the chrome digizoid data from Guardromon Gold, the requirements for Metal Greymon would be fulfilled.
Still, you had to be quick before those Ultimate levels targeted you. You cringed as you looked over and saw a Grap Leomon jump into the air and hammer a Skull Greymon into the ground hard enough that you felt the ground tremor from a good hundred feet away, only for a damn second Skull Greymon to roar and out of nowhere and smash the Grap Leomon into the ground with a rapid and giant bony fist.
Then that Skull Greymon literally got bowled over by a massive melting hot metal sphere easily twice the size of its body.
Then the first Skull Greymon bounced up with a roar and fired its missile off in the direction the metal sphere came from and lit up the area in a colossal explosion.
You snapped your attention to Black Exveemon and Devimon, sweat trailing down the side of your face, the two were staring at the ensuing battle wide eyed, nowhere near as confident as they were coming in to the area.
"You two grab the data from the rookies!" you commanded them swiftly while Black Greymon X pulled the golden data towards himself and began loading it.
As soon as Black Greymon X finished downloading the golden data, it happened. The towering dinosaur beneath you exploded into bright white light and then he began to grow, and morph.
"Black Greymon X Digivolve to...!"
From a ways behind you, another similar flash of light slightly drew your attention before you turned fully to the digital beast beneath you.
He grew, and he grew, and then he grew some more. And the entire area went silent, even the ultimate's currently fighting paused as your digimon continued to grow, until he towered above even the Skull Greymon and the familiar red dragon from one of the movies flying in the air, you couldn't remember the name of it, but you knew it was the ultimate stage of Doramon, and an X-antibody carrier.
And when the light died down, and you found yourself on your newly digivolved digimon's shoulder over eighty feet in the air you gaped in awe at his new form. Colossal in size, covered in ebony black scales and crimson red stripes, with golden cybernetic armour covering his chest, arm and head. He was a beast right out of legend, and so damn fucking awesome it was unreal!
"Black Metal Greymon X!" he roared, bellowing his challenge to the world.
The silence was split by one of the Skull Greymon roaring. Mindless, and running on instinct the digimon started sprinting towards the biggest threat in the area, your newly digivolved digimon.
You smirked, "Thanks for offering yourself up," you taunted, lifting up your digivice. With the enhanced processing power your digivice got now thanks to your other two digimon loading those rookies data, and your new beast of a digimon that you were standing on, this should be possible now, "Capture On!" you declared, and the voice activated program booted up, and followed the digimon your digivice's screen was pointing too.
Skull Greymon roared and shrieked in primal rage when it got close enough to jump at Metal Greymon, only for chains of energy to burst from your screen and wrap around it. It struggled as best it could, but could not resist the capture program and was subsequently captured without issue and dragged in to your digivice.
"Yes!" you cheered. This thing would be worth a ton of money. And you had three more ultimate's full of data to buff up the rest of your digimon. Though, you wanted to save that massive red dragon with the X-antibody for Garurumon so you could turn him into his X variation as well.
The area went silent again. Well, besides a feminine laugh that you recognized as Ruki's. She apparently found the situation of you casually capturing an ultimate absolutely hilarious.
The dragon and Grap Leomon froze, and instantly turned to flee, while the other Skull Greymon let loose a high pitched ear piercing shriek of rage at the disappearance of its brother.
Time to end this. You swiped a card through your digivice, "Black Metal Greymon X! Digi-modify! Paildramon's Desperado Blasters Activate!"
The pair of blasters that appeared at your digimon's hips were gigantic, easily twenty or more times the size of an actual Paildramon's. "Desperado Blaster!" your digimon called out and began firing rapid and incredibly massive bullets of energy.
Even with their size they, they still retained the insane speed of Paildramon's signature technique, so even the Grap Leomon that would have had an easier time dodging the normal version could only manage to dodge two or three shots before it burst into data, alongside the red dragon that turned into that glittering silver data when just one bullet of energy tore through it, and Skull Greymon that turned to data before ever reaching half way to Metal Greymon with its mad dash of rage when your digimon swivelled his hips and sprayed the bullets from left to right.
"Awww!" Black Metal Greymon X whined sadly, "Even the ultimates went down so easy! I'm too strong boss!" It made for quite the sight, such a massive digimon whining like a child and even stamping his feet as the Desperado Blaster's disappeared from his side.
"Don't worry buddy, I'm sure the others will be able to give you a good fight, once we have them load that data." you consoled him.
"Really boss!?" Metal Greymon asked eagerly. When you confirmed it, he grabbed you with his non armoured hand and quickly planted you on the ground, "Oooh! come on boss! Quick, I wanna see how strong they get!"
You rolled your eyes. There were still two champions duking it out on this level, though either Ruki would hunt them down, or the'd flee, so you weren't worried. No way they'd come anywhere near Metal Greymon.
"Fine fine, calm down you fight junkie." you rolled your eyes and lifted your digivice. You Copy and Pasted what you could of his epic new armour, before returning him to the digivice.
As soon as he disappeared inside, both Exveemon and Devimon landed in front of you, eyes wide and mouth gaping.
"Boss what da fuck was dat!?" Devimon shouted in shock, "He's way too damn big ta be a Metal Greymon, he's like twice da size of one now! And why was his armour gold?"
"My lord!" Exveemon went to one knee and bowed his head to you almost reverently, "Truly you are incredible! I could not fathom the depths of your greatness managing to hone such a digimon! Please forgive this foolish dragon for not properly worshipping your greatness!"
"...Right," you gave Exveemon a weird look before turning to Devimon and smirking at him, "I told you didn't I? I promised I'd make you strong, just look at Metal Greymon as an example of the kind of power you'll be around when you hit the Ultimate level as well."
Devimon sighed, "Boss, ya really know how ta' take the wind outta my sail," the fallen angel digimon outright pouted at you, it looked very weird on his face, "But I can't exactly complain when ya' deliver on exactly what I ask for right? Even if it looks outright disturbin'."
"That's right," you goaded him with a smirk, "Now why don't you apologize to your great boss Hayato for doing exactly as he promised, and massively better than you could have ever dreamed of."
Devimon's eye literally began to twitch when Black Exveemon turned to him and nodded, agreeing with what you said and then admonished him for doubting you, not realizing that it was a joke.
Exveemon was far too serious sometimes.
Before Devimon could lose his temper, you raised your digivice into the air, "Reload, Garurumon!"
The giant wolf digimon appeared before you with a howl, "Bring it on!" he declare as challenge, expecting enemies.
Only to find data hanging in the air. He turned to you then, with big sad puppy eyes and the puppy dog pout and let out a whine of sadness.
You were expecting Garurumon to change forms. That was why you wanted him to absorb all the data of the Doru Greymon, so he could obtain the X-antibody and become Garurumon X.
He kind of ruined the edgy wolf look he had going for him with the crazy fur and blades sticking out of his back with that happy and goofy looking tongue hanging from his mouth as he beamed at you happily.
You even expected Devidramon to digivolve. Though, you were expecting a Megadramon, or a Gigadramon. Not that you're unhappy that he managed to become one of the rare, and completely overpowered Cyberdramon species.
And he was definitely more happy with this much smaller form. and the fact that he wouldn't have literal missile launchers for hands.
What you were not expecting though, was Devimon to digivolve as well. He hadn't obtained any of the requirements needed for any of his possible digivolution forms. You can't say you were complaining though as you looked up at his towering form as Neo Devimon, easily over twenty feet tall, hell the spikes on his boots were the same size as you, and those giant red wings were badass as fuck.
"Have you been loading digimon without me noticing?" you peered up at towering fallen angel digimon and asked with a raised eyebrow.
The Ultimate level fallen angel digimon pulled his golden and red eyed mask off and glared down at you with shining crimson eyes, "Really boss?" he deadpanned, looking at you as if you were stupid, you had half a mind to get offended. "How da' hell would I do that? In case ya'v forgotten, I dunno how to work the server like Secretarymon over there, and I can't get outta da' digivice without ya' loadin' me either."
Cyberdramon growled at him for the dig sent his way, flexing his much smaller clawed hands threateningly before just shaking his head and sighing, and you could just see him thinking in his mind that it's way too much of a waste of time to get into an argument with the sarcastic little shit that was once an Impmon.
"You aren't so strong, that I can't kick your ass Impmon." you grinned at him, teasing him. Actually, you were pretty sure even with the upgrades you just got to your gauntlets and the fact that you had a pair of leg guards now thanks to scanning that Guardromon Gold - that Neo Devimon would kick your ass now.
You'd have to see about stream lining Black Metal Greymon X's energy wing things so you could keep it on at all times, maybe with that you'd be a good match. The digivice was already automatically going over it and making it the best size possible for your body.
Neo Devimon growled challengingly, "Oh yeah?" he taunted you with a bring it on gesture with one massively clawed hand, "Bring it on boss man, we'll see how big ya talk when I slap ya around like a little bitch."
"Shut up you morons," Cyberdramon growled, stepping between you two, "We've got better things to do than you two brawling about out here. I want to get home so we can throw that Skull Greymon up in a bid."
Neo Devimon's eyes widened at that and he burst out laughing, "Oh yeah I totally forgot you caught that thing like a scrub!"
"Besides, everything is cleared up here now," Cyberdramon nodded off to the distance at something, "Boss' girlfriend has just cleared up that Cyclonemon and Gaogamon and seems to be in the process of recruiting the Dark Tyrannomon."
You followed his gaze and a good few hundred feet away, you could see that yes indeed, Ruki was standing with her hands on her hips, saying something to a Dark Tyrannomon face first on the ground, tied up in some kind of paper, with her Saberdramon and some bipedal fox thing that must have been the Ultimate form of her Kyuubimon, at her side.
"Huh, got an ultimate already, that was fast." you commented, feeling a strange sort of pride in the fact that such a girl was your girlfriend.
Neo Devimon nodded and gave a whistle, "Damn boss, you sure know how ta pick em!"
You were about to agree with the fallen angel ultimate, but were interrupted by Garurumon X padding over and nudging you with his nose. "Boss!"
You gave the edgy looking wolf digimon a a raised eyebrow, "What's up buddy?" you asked.
"I smelled something a lot like that Data Eater we ran into before deeper!" the lupine digimon reported.
"Oh." you blinked. So that was why there was a massive insurgence of strong digimon.
Man you really didn't want to see the kind of digimon they brought along when they popped up in Kowloon level 4.
Best go take care of those. Besides, you would be quite happy with another boost physically from those eaters. You're not one to let other people fight your battles, so all your digimon getting stronger than you, when it used to be you that had to fight for them, rankles you.
Just a bit. It doesn't matter if your digimon can literally nuke an entire city to death now, you won't accept being a damsel. Ever.
You reloaded Neo Devimon and Cyberdramon into your digivice and then jumped up on Garurumon's back. Before you took off though, you sent a text to Ruki's Digivice.
'I've got something to take care of a bit further in, I'll just be a little bit.'
You watched as she paused in whatever she was saying to the Dark Tyrannomon and pull out her digivice as she received the notification. She looked your way and you waved to your girlfriend. You can just tell she's scowling at you, especially if the way she flipped you the bird is anything to go by.
A moment later you got a reply.
'Fine Gogglehead. I'm leaving after I make this thing see me as its new tamer. I've got something to do. I'll see you later tonight once you leave as well.'
Well then you wonder what she has planned. Maybe another sexy photo? You can only hope you suppose.
You pat Garurumon X on the head, "Let's go buddy, run down the Eater and let's kill em."
"Right boss!" Garurumon X barked back and took off sprinting.
You say sprinting, but it was more like a rocket going off, a slight crater formed from where he took off he accelerated that hard and fast and the surroundings blurred out of view.
Each area of Kowloon level 2, was around four of five thousand feet in length. You know simply because before ever coming in to any of Kowloon, you got the data schematics of each floor.
Garurumon X would have cleared multiple of them in a literal second, if it weren't for the many twists and turns he had to make that slowed him down briefly.
Even then, it took less than twenty seconds for him to pass through three areas of Kowloon, and then skid to a halt, his paws digging trenches through the solid metal platforms as he skidded a stop, fifty feet or so away from the ugly ass - and surprisingly 3 - Data Eaters.
It was only thanks to the enhanced durability you had with your gauntlets on that you didn't suffer injury from your digimon's sheer speed and sudden stop.
Digimon were fucking insane.
You eyed the three Data Eater's that immediately zeroed in on you and your digimon and frowned. They were fucking fugly, but different from the one's you had seen before. These things were not hentai tentacle squid things out of Lovecraftian books, instead they were humanoid.
Still some Lovecraft bullshit though.
The second they locked on you and Garurumon X they stopped lumbering around slowly and starting darting towards you at speeds that would outpace a missile.
That didn't bother you at all.
You lifted both hands, your palms gleaming with crimson red power, "Nuclear Laser!"
The beams together you fired put any you had fired before to shame. It was massive, so big together, it dwarfed you in height.
And the Data Eater's, the dumb fucks just ran into the massive red beam and were reduced to nothing in literally a fraction of a second, leaving nothing but their funky data behind.
You blinked. Finding it hard for a moment to process just how bullshit you were. You were like something right out of super hero comic book
You shook your head and raised your digivice, "May as well get on it with," you mused as you began scanning the data, filtering it through the digivice and then having it pass on to you, "Maybe I can check out level 1 with Gatomon, she hasn't gotten much data lately."
Yeah, that's a good plan.
Once you scanned the data of the three humanoid Data Eater's, and relished briefly in the feeling of power that went through your body, you returned Garurumon X to your digivice and then returned to the entrance of Eden with the Gate skill, leaving Kowloon Level 2 behind.
Ruki was probably leaving, or about to. It shouldn't take her too long to bully that Dark Tyrannomon into serving her, and even if any more digimon showed up, which you doubted they would, she'd still have her suped up Saberdramon and her newly digivolved Taomon to save protect her.
It was kind of surreal, she went from having digimon that would get pasted by anything on level 2, to being able to crush anything that would show up, in less than a day.
Now that was impressive.
Stil, you wanted to get Gatomon some data, so you figured you and her could prowl through Kowloon Level 1 a bit, so that's where you went.
You appeared in the entrance of Level 1 with a whistle on your lips moments later and merrily made your way in deeper.
You paused as soon as you entered the next area, because already you found a pair of digimon, darting to and fro, so much slower than anything you'd seen recently, a Dorumon and a freaking Black Veemon fighting tooth and nail together.
Neat. X-antibody and a another Digimental of Darkness. It really was your lucky day.
You were about to just fire your laser and delete them both before remember how Gatomon could get about not earning her data. So you lifted up your digivice, "Reload, Gatomon!"
Gatomon sighed as she appeared before you, eyeing the fighting rookies with something almost like disappointment, "Really? You let the others fight champions and even ultimate's, and you bring me down here to fight rookies?" the disappointment was in her voice now, "Isn't this bullying?"
You couldn't stop yourself. You swooped down and picked her up in your arms, rubbing your cheek against her furry one. She sighed again. "I'm sorry Gatomon, I didn't mean to leave you out," you apologized, "I just know you don't like loading data you didn't earn yourself."
You nuzzled her whiskers, drawing a gasp from her. She immediately pushed your cheek hard and jumped out of your grip, a bit of a flush showing through her white fur and she crossed her cute little arms, "Fine, I accept your apology!" Gatomon turned her face away from you with a huff and you struggled to keep the smile off of your face.
It would just embarrass her more.
Then a second later she moved in to action without you even telling her to, and sprang forward like a bullet, lightning shrouding her gloved paw, "Lightning Paw!" she shouted, and before any of the two digimon she was attacking noticed, her claw punched through Black Veemon's chest, then she turned, an orb of light forming in her palm and thrust her paw out at Dorumon who only had time for its eyes to widen, "Neko Laser!"
A moment later, after the white beam of light died down, all that was left of the two digimon were two pools of data, one silver and the other black.
You walked over and patted her on the head, "Good job." you praised the cute little white kitty cat.
You eyed the data for a moment. You were definitely scanning the the Black Veemon, with it, you could make Gatomon or even Garurumon into their black versions.
But hmm, the Dorumon. In the movie, it eventually became Alphamon. Which was a total bullshit digimon and you loved its pure chronic black armour. And that big ass dragon from level 2, the Doru Greymon, it rivalled Skull Greymon in size. Not to mention, it had another possible mega in DoruGoramon, which had a body of armour made up of Chrome Digizoid if the card you had of it was anything to go by.
Might be worth raising one in the future.
"You mind if I scan these two?" you asked Gatomon at your feet.
She hook her head, "Go ahead," she replied, gesturing at the clouds of data.
Good enough for you, you raised your digivice and scanned half of the data of each. A Dorimon egg, a Demi-Veemon egg, both very rare, you blinked. Not only that, alongside the Digimental of Darkness from Black Veemon, you actually got a move from both of them.
Your eyes widened, "What the fuck is with my luck!?" you blurted out.
Gatomon glared at you, "Watch your language boss!" she scolded you.
After having Gatomon load the leftover data, you activated the digimon radar function on your digivice and were kind of dismayed to find only two digimon. Though, if the reading coming off of them was anything to go by, they were both either pretty strong rookies, or low level champions around Gatomon's level.
It didn't take you very long to find them either. They were in the fourth area, and with how fast you could move now, it only took you a minute or two to get there and find them.

They were both Virus types, and going by the reading of the digivice was stronger than both of them individually, so it would be a short fight either way, especially with you using cards to enhance her, "Lemme just take them out real quick, my Nuclear Laser can hit them both and then we can head home and relax."
Gatomon sighed, closing her eyes. She really did do that a lot didn't she? "Very well boss," she conceded gracefully, "But I hope you find me some strong opponents to actually fight next time."

You raised your digivice and scanned half of the data of each, gaining the two digimentals, a Pagumon egg and a Koromon egg, and once again your luck ran true and you got a skill from each of them.
"Load them up cute stuff." you gestured at the data and ordered your cute little white kitty that was about to become a black kitty.
"Reload, Garurumon X!"
You reloaded your lupine digimon as soon as Gatomon had finished absorbing the data. "Right you two ready?" you asked them.
"Let's do it boss!" Garurumon X agreed quickly, bouncing on his front legs in anticipation.
Gatomon crossed her arms and merely nodded.
"Alright then!" you thrust your digivice towards them and activated connection between your two digimon, funnelling a Digimental of Darkness into both of them.
They erupted into dark light.
"Garurumon X Dark Digivolve to...!"
"Gatomon Dark Digivolve to...!"
The light died a few moments later.
"Black Garurumon X!"
"Black Gatomon!"
If it was possible, your Garurumon looked even edgier now with the black fur. And Gatomon? Well, even with fur as black as the night and eyes changed from glistening emerald to glowing amber gold, she was still so CUTE!
