Summary: Dennis and Winnie accidentally started up Ericka's brand new rocket, and they landed on a distant planet in search for aliens, or so they think it's an unknown planet.
This chapter is the parody of the episode: Sandy's Rocket.
One day, Dennis was going outside, until he noticed something in the distance. "What is that?", he asked in wonder, and went for a closer look.
The object is tall, had fins, and a pointy part at the top. "Wow!", Dennis said with awe, noticing how tall the strange thing was. It also had a window, and out peeked out Ericka, Dennis' step-grandmother.
"Hey Dennis.", Ericka said, "How'd you like my new latest invention.". Ericka is also the great-granddaughter of former monster hunter turned senior citizen, Abraham, and after he got retired, Ericka decided to become an inventor.
"What is it?", Dennis asked, to which Ericka said that it was a rocket ship. "I'll meet you downstairs, and show you around!", she said, as she goes down the elevator of the rocket.
"What are you going to do with this rocket?", Dennis asked, to which Ericka responded that she's going to go to the moon. "The moon?!", Dennis said with excitement, "Can I come?".
However, Ericka clearly said, "No way, José!". "Uh, my name's Dennis.", Dennis corrected, but then Ericka said, "I mean, you can't come with me.", she said, "Remember what happened when you wanted to test my whirlybird?". Dennis now remembered that Ericka had a plane she nicknamed, 'Whirlybird', and Dennis wanted to fly it, however he didn't know how to fly a plane and crashed it.
"And besides,", Ericka continued, "There isn't any room for two people.". However, Dennis was determined to be with his grandma, and go on the trip. "I don't take up that much space!", Dennis said, as he turned into a bat and goes into various compartments of the rocket.
"Dennis, this isn't for fun!", Ericka said, as she hold up a clipboard full of scientific math equations. "This is for science.", she said, "I don't have time for games, and especially no time for stowaways.".
"Fine, put me in the brig!", Dennis said, while giggling. "That's an air vent, Dennis!", Ericka said, "I need that too!".
"But I want to come on this moon adventure!", Dennis said, pleading. Ericka had nothing else to say but, "Okay, you can come along with me.".
"Yay!", Dennis said, as he turned into his bat form and chanted, "Going to the moon! Moon ride! Moon ride! Moon ride!". Ericka soon stopped Dennis, "But this time,", she said, "Don't touch anything.".
While Dennis was packing things up to go on his space adventure, he noticed Ericka holding what looks like a pop gun.
"Hey, Grandma Ericka!", Dennis said, before asking what she has in her hands. "Well, you see this is...", Ericka tried to say. before Dennis interrupted, "Is that an alien catcher? I always wanted an alien catcher!", before asking, "Are we looking for aliens?".
"No, silly!", Ericka said, "This isn't an alien catcher.". She then shoots three rocks in the distance, "This is for catching moon rocks!".
Dennis however said, "Well, I guess that's cool, but afterwards you can use that for alien hunting!". "Dennis, are you crazy?", Ericka asked, "Aliens aren't real, as they only appear in movies!".
Dennis however soon got a little persuasive, and said, "Grandma Ericka, how can you be so naive?". This caused Ericka to get a little confused, "What are you talking about?", she asked.
"Well...", Dennis said, "How can you explain the Lost City of Atlantis, or gremlins messing up planes, or how the dinosaurs first appeared.", he soon continued, "Or even those circles that mysteriously appear in cornfields?", to which he made on on the ground by dragging his feet, and he didn't even know about it. "Ah, there's one right now!", he screamed.
"That's not a crop circle!", Ericka said, "You were dragging your feet on the ground.". Dennis soon look, and noticed that the tread marks are from his shoes.
"Listen.", Ericka told her grandson, "You don't know the first thing about outer space. Now go get some shut-eye, because you need to be up early in the morning.". Dennis agreed, but Ericka also interrupted, "And remember, don't give me more nonsense about aliens, understand?".
Dennis tried to go to sleep, but he can't, because he is still thinking about the rocket and going to the moon. Suddenly, he heard a noise coming from his bedroom door. It was Winnie, who said, "Hey Dennis!".
"What are you doing here, Winnie?", Dennis asked all tired. "Well, I heard you're going on that moon trip tomorrow,", she said, "and... Wait, did you ask you mom and dad first?".
Dennis said that his parents agreed, because of Ericka is smart, and would keep a close eye on Dennis to make sure that he doesn't get in trouble. "Oh, I also came here, because I've got something for you.", Winnie said.
"What is it?", Dennis asked. "Well, is Ericka's rocket alien-proof?", Winnie asked, but Dennis told her that there are no aliens. "Well, I guess you won't need this!", she said pulling out a spray bottle, "It's some alien repellent for your trip!".
"Alien repellent?", Dennis said with wonder, as he grabbed the can and read, 'NEW! Alien-Out Window Repellent. Does not stop burglaries.'. "Well, I guess you're right about one thing.", Dennis said to his werewolf friend, "Let's spray those windows!".
Soon, Dennis and Winnie were near the rocket. "Look how big it is!", Winnie said, as she and Dennis got closer. "It's impressive, isn't it?", Dennis said, to which he just wanted to have the windows sprayed, and then go back to sleep.
"How do you think we go inside?", Winnie asked, noticing a blue flashing button with the word 'Open' on it. "Look Dennis, I've opened a rocketship!", Winnie said to Dennis, "Come on!".
Inside, there were a bunch of contraptions, buttons, levers, screens, and panels in the rocket. "Holy rabies, Dennis!", Winnie said, "This must be the control room!". "Yeah, it's great and all but, we shouldn't really touch anything.", Dennis said, but Winnie didn't listen, as she went to one of the controls.
"Winnie, cut it out!", Dennis warned, "This is Grandma Ericka's rocket, not some kind of fun... house?", he soon said, noticing that the reflection in one of the mirrors makes Dennis really tall. Winnie was shown playing on a computer, "High score!", she said with excitement.
Now in the cockpit, Dennis asked, "What was that game you were playing anyway?", however, Winnie was distracted by a lever above her, flicked it and an ejector seat lifted both Dennis and Winnie into the air. "I like rockets.", she said with happiness.
Now, in another part of the rocket, Dennis and Winnie were in vibrating chairs, and were having lots of fun, before going back to the main control sector. "I think this button, starts the rocket!", Winnie said, but Dennis stops her.
"Winnie, what are you thinking?", Dennis asked, "I'm the space traveler, and I think the start button is right here.". Dennis pressed the green start button, and the rocket started to rumble. "Wow, You've started the rocket!", Winnie said.
What Dennis and Winnie didn't know, is that it was at the wrong time, due to Ericka noticing the entire situation outside. "Dennis, why didn't you listen to me?", Ericka asked to herself.
"Hang on, my zing!", Winnie said, holding Dennis' hand. The rocket soon goes out of the Earth's atmosphere, and eventually, it was in the starry sky above.
"Why are we floating?", Winnie asked, to which Dennis looked outside, and noticed Earth below. "We're in space now!", said Dennis, "And my daddy told me that there's no gravity in space!". Winnie started to float around the rocket, trying to figure which way is up, and which is down.
They even had some fun, as Winnie squirted toothpaste in some peanut butter, and Dennis lifting a giant rock. The rocket started to circle around the moon, until it went back onto Earth, and because of this, the gravity was back.
"Who put the heavy on?", Winnie asked, to which Dennis told Winnie that they must be landing.
Meanwhile, Ericka wearing an astronaut suit, jetpacks herself to the moon, hoping that her rocket was there, but the thing is... it wasn't.
Dennis and Winnie had crashed landed the rocket back home, however Dennis and Winnie thought that they are on an unknown planet. "This place almost looks like home.", Dennis said, as Winnie soon noticed Tinkles coming towards them.
"Hey look Dennis,", said Winnie, "It's Tinkles!". "Wait,", Dennis said with worry, "What if this planet has aliens that look like people or animals from Earth? They're projecting our memories".
"So what you're saying is that they've taken the things we thought, and make us think we thought our thoughts, but they aren't really the thoughts that we're thinking!", Winnie said, getting confused.
"But the thing is,", Dennis said with bravery, "We are not falling for it.", and captured Tinkles in the net. "You've got him!", Winnie cheered, "Won't your grandma be proud?". "Oh no, I forget all about her!", Dennis said with worry, "She definitely going to hate us after stealing her rocket.".
"But this can clearly make her happy!", Dennis said, tossing the bagged Tinkles into the ship. Winnie soon sang, An Alien Hunting We Go! An Alien Hunting We Go!", but Dennis interrupted her and told her to be quiet.
"We don't want them to know we're onto them.", Dennis whispered before saying, "Make sure your gun is pumped.". They soon invaded Blobby's room, and they even said that he's even more uglier up close. "Let's begin the analysis.", Dennis announced quietly.
As Dennis begins to look at the creature straight forward, Winnie noticed something red underneath Blobby. "What's that?", she asked, to which Dennis now wearing safety gloves removes the object.".
It was revealed to be a hot water bottle, however Winnie just said, "I think I'm going to be sick.". "Do you know what this is?", Dennis asked. "Stinky?", Winnie asked. "No.", Dennis said, "It's an egg sac. Let's take a look at the embryo.".
Using a flashlight, Winnie shines it on the 'egg sac', and all that reveals are the shadows of Dennis' hands, to which the two kids thought that the sac was carrying twins. Blobby soon slouches in his sleep and when Winnie looked up, she noticed that her helmet is covered by a eyeballed green substance.
"Get this thing off me!", Winnie screamed, but that soon woke up the blob. "He's awake!", Winnie said, to which Dennis said, "Let's capture the little phony.".
Afterwards, Dennis and Winnie caught more residents including Dracula, Mavis, Johnny, Wayne, Wanda, Frank, Eunice, Murray, Griffin, Abraham, almost all of Winnie's brothers, and even Bela from his mountain.
Soon, they were placed in the rocketship. "Look at them squirming in there.", Dennis said, to with Winnie just gave disgusted comments about it. "Well, there's plenty more where that came from!", Dennis said, as he and Winnie soon captured everyone they see in the hotel.
The rocket was now filled to the brim with aliens, "I think we need to do a second trip.", Dennis suggested, but Winnie said that they should push harder.
Soon, Ericka went down from her jetpack suit, and noticed Dennis and Winnie near her rocket. "Dennis, what are you doing?", she asked, "I can't even take my eye off you for two seconds, without you two causing so much trouble.", she continued, "I mean, look at this! You used my moon rock harvesters and turned your friends into bags of flopping fish!".
"You two have turned my simple science experiment, into a heap of trouble!", she continued, but Dennis knew that means one more alien to catch right in front of him. "You two oughta be ashamed of yourselves, I mean what we you even thinking--".
"Nice try, Grandma Ericka.", Dennis said, and Winnie added, "Or we should say, 'Alien Van Helsing.'", and laughed. "Aliens?", asked Ericka, "Is this what this is all about?". Dennis and Winnie didn't care, as they tossed the captured Ericka into the rocket.
"Well, that's the last one.", Dennis said, but as Ericka tried to say, "We're not on the moon, we're still on...", Dennis closed the door. "This show you Winnie,", Dennis said, "that you can't trust anyone.". Realizing what he just said, both Dennis and Winnie got out the pop guns.
"So,", said Dennis, "You're an alien all along, and you didn't even tell me!". "Well, it's not you who caught me!", Winnie said, It's...". Dennis soon gasped, realizing that Winnie was holding the pop gun backwards, "Me that's caught me!", she even said.
Dennis decided that it would be a good idea for him to show Ericka the aliens he caught. He started up the rocket, and blasted off, however the rocket soon ran out of fuel, and the worst part is, it landed on the actual moon.
"Hey everyone,", Dennis said, before noticing where he was. "Wow, Hotel Transylvania looks different that usual, it's...". Dennis soon realized that he was actually on the moon, because he saw Earth in the distance.
"Uh-oh.", Dennis said, realizing his mistake, to which everyone in the rocket said, "Dennis, we aliens like to have a word with you!".
