Mother Wolf Ch. 14
Howleen nervously walks into her and her sister's room. "Um, Clawdeen?"
The fashion ghoul is at the sewing machine, putting something together. "What is it, Howleen? I'm a little busy."
"I, uh, I asked Bram out."
The machine came to a halt as the older sister turns to the younger. "Define, out."
"As in, out on a date."
Clawdeen glares at Howleen before letting out a scream and hugging her little sister. "Oh, man! This is great news."
Howleen eyes her older sister. "Uh, I thought you hated Bram?"
"Oh, don't get me wrong. He's still on my list for what he did to you. But for some strange reason, the guy has been making you happy, and that's what's important. You being happy," the big sister says and smirks, noticing the growing blush on Howleen. "So, what're you gonna do?"
"I don't know," the youngest of the two ghouls looks away and she starts twiddling her thumbs. "I told him he doesn't need to do anything big. I know he can't do much as he just started working. Oh, man!" Howleen sits on her bed. "What was I thinking? I can't go out looking like this!" she gestures to her stomach before grabbing her iCoffin. "I'll message him to call it off."
Clawdeen snatches the device away. "No, you don't! This was your idea to begin with and I'll make sure you go through with it."
Howleen tries jumping to get her iCoffin back. But with the height differences and the younger sister's extra weight makes it harder. "But, Clawdeen! I've never been on a date before, and I have no idea what to wear. Anything nice I have no longer fits because…you know?" she gestures to her belly.
The older ghoul thinks while looking around her room. The fashion ghoul picks up some loose fabric and then snaps before facing her sister. "How much time do I have?"
"Um, he said he managed to get Friday off." With that before Howleen knew it, her big sister wraps measuring tape around her. "Woah! Hey! I already done my measurements."
"This ain't for the pups."

HPS
Clawdeen: Howleen Protection Society! Howleen needs our assistance!
Clawd: What!?
Clawd: Who do I need to kill?
Clawdeen: Not that kind of assistance, Clawd.
Clawdeen: Howleen is going on a date with Bram.
Draculaura: Really?
Frankie: Awe.
Toralei: It's about time.
Clawd: I told him no funny business!
Toralei: Overprotective much?
Clawdeen: Howleen said it was her idea.
Clawdeen: So, I say we should help her. Especially since this is her first date ever.
Cleo: Isn't she doing things out of order?
Cleo: Usually, it's dating, marriage, then kids.
Clawdeen: Cleo!
Toralei: Cleo!
Frankie: Cleo!
Draculaura: Cleo!
Cleo: Okay, okay.
Cleo: Sorry
Clawdeen: Now, the date's Friday. So, we'll gather at my house to help her get ready. I'm just about finished with my surprise for her.
Draculaura: Oooh! What kind of surprise?
Clawdeen: These lips are sealed until they're ready.
Neighthan: What would you like us guys to do?
Clawdeen: Glad you asked.
Clawdeen: Bram just started working. So, he can't take my sister anywhere good. As her first date ever, we need to make it at least decent.
Clawd: What are you asking, Sis?
Heath: I think she wants us to foot the bill?
Clawdeen: And other things.
Clawd: What!?
Clawd: No!
Clawdeen: Clawd, This is for Howleen.
Clawd: Why can't you pay for it?
Clawdeen: I already used most of my money for the wedding and the surprise.
Clawd: What about that money from Freak Chic? Is that already gone?
Clawdeen: I can't touch that unless it's for my brand. It's part of the contract.
Frankie: She's right.
Frankie: If Clawdeen uses that money, then she'll owe them double the amount.
Toralei: Look, Clawd. This is for Kitten. If you do this, I'll pay you back.
Clawd: Fine!
Clawd: But only if everyone pitches in.
Neighthan: Sure thing.
Heath: Aye, aye, Captain
Gil: I'll help.
Clawdeen: Thanks guys

Late at Night
As he has been doing every night for the past few weeks, Bram drags his feet into the Wolf's house. It's late, so everyone is asleep. The vampire is so glad that Mrs. Wolf gave him a spare key so he would not have to wake up anyone.
Bram sits on the couch, intending to rest his eyes before heading up stairs for bed.
A pair of claws has other plans as they grab him to drag the vampire upstairs.

Friday
Howleen is standing in front of a mirror. She is admiring her new dress. It's simple but nice, with a skirt going down past her knees, stopping before her ankles. The ghoul is also wearing a new jacket with a pawprint on the left side of her chest. The werewolf has ditched her hat in favor of having it done-up ponytail.
Suddenly, she had powder thrown on her face.
"Too much?" Clawdeen asks.
"Yeah!" Howleen coughs. "Maybe just a little."
the big sister puts the makeup away, "I just wanted to bring out your blush. It'll help keep his attention on your face."
Howleen places her hands over her stomach. "I don't think any amount of makeup can keep people's attention from this."
"Don't be that way, Kitten," Toralei calls attention to herself from Howleen's bed. The werecat gets up to walk over to the expecting werewolf. "This?" she places hand on Howleen's belly. "Is something that's bringing you together. Besides! What're you gonna do? Hide it. That only works if he doesn't know," she walks back over to the bed.
Howleen smiles at her. "Thanks, Toralei."
"Why are you thanking her?" Clawdeen asks. "I'm the one putting all this work in," the older Wolf sibling gestures to the younger. "Doesn't your actual big sister get any praise?"
Howleen laughs as she pulls her sister into a hug. "Thank you, Clawdeen. For helping me get ready for tonight. Oh?" she steps back and places a hand back over her bump. "I think the pups want to thank you as well."
Clawdeen smiles as she kneels down to the bump. "You're very welcome. Bet you guys can't wait to meet your Auntie Clawdeen. Surely more than Auntie Toralei?" she turns to smirk at the werecat who only glares back.
The youngest teen sighs. "Here I thought we were past this."

Bram finds himself sitting on a kitchen chair in the middle of the living room. Across from him are Howleen's parents and off to the side of them is her big brother. The father and brother are glaring while the mother is just smiling.
As uneasy Mr. Wolf and Clawd makes him feel, Mrs. Wolf is still the one that disturbs him the most.
The vampire is wearing some jeans and a nice red jacket that the older brother and his friends practically threw on him.
"So…" Harry speaks in a low growl. "Where are you taking my daughter?"
"Harry!" his wife snaps.
"We have the right to know that much, Harriet."
"It's alright, Mrs. Wolf. It is in your right," Bram informs her. "There's this place called the Spirits Den. It's a popular fangout for those of our age. It has a smoothie bar, snack stand, a skating rink. Though, I doubt we'd be participating with that last one."
"That's all?"
"I'm afraid that is about all I can spare even with the loan I was given. By the way," he turns to the brother. "I must once again thank you for that, Clawd."
Clawd growls. "I didn't do it for you. I did it for my sister."
Harry gets up from his seat to approach the vampire. He glares at him for a moment before pulling out a bouquet of flowers and growls, "They're her favorite."
"Thank you, Mr. Wolf," Bram accepts the flowers.
Their attention is brought to the stairs by Howleen's voice. "You ready?"
"Yeeeeeee…" When Bram turns to her his voice stops working. The ghoul stepping down the steps captured the vampire's full attention. The way her dress fits her, the shine to her hair. Was she always this cute?
He barely registered that the ghoul was now in front of him snapping her fingers. "Hey, Bram! Okay?"
"Oh? Yes. Sorry," he rubs the back of his head. "You were always a nice-looking ghoul, but this, Wow! I like your dress."
Howleen giggles. "Thanks, Bram. Wish I could wear something like this more often. But I'm so limited these days."
"You'd look lovely no matter what you're wearing," Bram tells the ghoul who starts blushing.
Clawdeen puts a hand on her sister's shoulder. "Y'know? The material I used stretches. So, you could wear this many more times despite getting bigger," she gives a knowing smirk at Bram. "Like for another date."
"I'd love that!" the vampire said without thinking.
Howleen blushes even more. "Shouldn't we go on this date before planning the second."
"Right! My apologies," Bram then presents her with the flowers. "For you."
"Thank you, Bram," the ghoul gladly accepts them and gives them a sniff. "How'd you know they're my favorite?"
"Your family of course," the vampire glances the others in the room. "They seem to be more invested on this date than we are. Clawd has even graciously allowed me to barrow his car."
"Really?" the youngest of the Wolf siblings looks at her brother wide eyed. "Thanks, Clawd."
The brother just turns his head, arms crossed, grumbling, "Don't mention it."
Harriet claps her hands as she stands up, "Well, then. You two best be off. Have fun. But not too much fun!"
Toralei laughs. "A bit late for that!"
That comment makes Harry release a growl from his throat.
"Now, Harry," Harriet warns. "Bram has shown to be a good and responsible boy. With that being said," she approaches her youngest daughter. "If he does try anything, Howleen. Go for the throat and don't let go until the body stops twitching," she then pushes the stunned couple out the door.
Clawd turns to his father. "Dad! It's not that I don't love Mom or anything. But why'd you marry her?"
"She asked me, and I was too afraid to say no," Harry confesses with a sigh and smiles. "Wouldn't have changed my mind for the world, though."
