CHAPTER 5
Moments later, Greil returned. Titania had told him everything that had happened, and this obviously left Greil in a furious state. Then, he told Titania to go out to find Ike and the group.
"Should I go with her?" Shinon asked.
"Yes, Shinon." said Greil. "I also suggest you take Gatrie with you, too. I will wait here." he later said.
"Yes, sir." Shinon said. Titania, Shinon, and Gatrie later left for Ike and the group.
When Ike and the group arrived at the bandit hideout, a strong bandit leader, who was the new leader of the bandits who took over Caldea, noticed that the group had come for the children.
"Give my sister back!" Ike hollered.
"Or what, you blue-haired freak?!" asked the bandit leader.
"Or… or I…" Ike said as he stuttered in speaking. The bandit later tried to strike Ike.
"You asked for it out of us, then, you crusty old bastard." said Oscar. The bandit later growled.
"Alright, people, form up! Don't let a single one of these sellswords escape with our loot!" said the bandit. As the fighting later began, a horse was later heard in the distance. Everyone wondered if it was Titania.
"Nope! It's just me!" Kamaria said as she descended from the skies.
"Kamaria? How did you know about the kidnappings?" asked Ike.
"No time to explain, Ike." said Kamaria. "Now… what was I about to ask…?" she later thought. "Oh, yes! Where… are the children?" Kamaria said as she pointed her iron lance at the bandit leader.
"Ah, yes, of course… The children…" said the bandit leader. "They are safely locked in the hut back there. No worries, though. They are safe. But here's the thing I want to know. Where is the snobby, red-haired bitch you ride with?"
"You moronic bastard!" exclaimed Boyd. "No one talks about our beautiful deputy commander like that!"
"It doesn't matter anymore." said Titania as she showed up in the nick of time. She later dismounted her horse and marched her way through her own men and the bandits themselves.
"Ah ha, so you're the little deputy rat, eh?" asked a bandit working for the bandit group.
"Don't even think about making me an angry woman, you little bastard." Titania said. "They have already angered me enough. And if nothing is set right, there goes our way of careering ourselves as the Greil Mercenaries!" Bandits were later laughing at Titania. Then, using both of their respective iron lances, Kamaria and Oscar knocked out a few of the bandits, taking their loot in the process. Boyd then attempted to break down the door to the shack where Mist and Rolf were. Once freeing them, Ike asked if his sister and Rolf were safe and sound.
"Yeah, we're… we're okay." Mist said to her older brother.
"Thanks for rescuing us." Rolf said.
"But you are still in deep trouble with the commander." a voice said.
"Who said that?" asked Samantha.
"I did." said Shinon as he walked with Gatrie.
"Oh, no…" Ike said.
"Come with us." Titania said in an angry manner. " NOW! "
"But… But we didn't do anything wrong!" Samantha said.
"I said come now before Commander Greil gets more angry and worried at us!" Titania said. Punishments were just about to come a long way to the Greil Mercenaries, despite the fact that they did what they did to save MIst and Rolf from the group of bandits.
Back with Greil, the pegasus knight Kamaria was the first to arrive at the fort to see him. Greil wondered where everyone was. Kamaria did give a response, saying that they were coming.
"Good." Greil said. Moments later, the group arrived.
"Commander, things were not set right for the group." Titania reminded Greil.
"Thank you for bringing the group back, Titania. After all, I've got to teach my son a lesson." Greil said. "Shinon, Gatrie, in my office. Ike, you and the rest of the group, meeting room. NOW !" Greil later yelled. Ike and the group knew exactly what was coming to them next.
"You have tarnished the reputation of direct orders, Ike!" Greil hollered. "You could have gotten yourself killed out there if nothing was set properly and right."
"Father, Listen!" Ike hollered back.
"I am the commander! You listen to me!" Greil hollered back.
"Ugh!" Ike yelled.
"You stop complaining right now!" Greil yelled again at his son.
"He did what he did to save me and Rolf, Father! Accept that fact!" Mist hollered.
"Mist!" Greil yelled. "Rules exist for a reason. Therefore, I have no choice but to confine the entire company to the quarters for ten days due to the action of disobeying the orders of the deputy commander."
"So what the hell are you going to do, commander?!" Boyd asked angrily.
"I am going to give you extra jobs and chores than you already have right now!" Greil hollered. "Now, I suggest that all of you get working right now!" NOW !" Everyone started to get to work. Greil was so worked up from all the yelling that he needed a break himself.
Meanwhile at the Crimean seaport of Port Talma, suspicious pirates docked their ship. A pink-haired pegasus knight named Marcia saw everything unfold, but she didn't feel like getting help. Then, the pirates got off of the ship and left their captain alone.
"Yar har har!" a pirate said. "I fetch meeself some food from these villagers, plundering and pillaging this village until every single one of em's dead!"
"Damn!" said Marcia. "I'm here to find my brother Makalov, not to fight some dirty, old rugged pirates." Marcia later called out for her companion and best friend, a wind tome and sword-wielding Dark Flier named Evelyn.
"What is it, Marcia?" asked Evelyn. "Talking 'bout something from these poor insignificant bastards?"
"Fetch me one of the boat monkey's money sacks! I could surely use something out of it!" Marcia requested Evelyn.
"OK." Evelyn said. Evelyn later unsheathed her sword, swooped down while her pegasus neighed, and killed one of the axe-wielding pirates. When she snatched the money sack from the deceased pirate, another pirate tried to pull the tail of the pegasus. Marcia later took up her lance and stabbed the pirate in the stomach.
"Shit!" an unknown civilian said. "The pirates are getting massacred out there by those pegasus knights… Are they even from here, or are they from Begnion?" the unknown male civilian asked himself. "...Never mind, then. I shall send out a letter for help." A knock was later heard on the unknown civilian's door. It was a young beorc woman asking the unknown civilian if he would get rid of the pirates for the villagers of Port Talma. The unknown civilian answered no.
"Hmph. Damn ignorant assholes!" yelled the young beorc woman as she slammed the door behind her.
"Don't even think about seeing me again!" yelled the unknown civilian.
Outside of the house, the woman's mother was waiting for a response from her daughter. When the daughter refused to give an answer, she then asked her mother to send out letters to several mercenary companies. However, only one was active: the ragtag Greil Mercenaries. However, they were confined to the quarters by Greil for an amount of ten days. But the mother really had no other option than to send the Greil Mercenaries down their way. So, she went back home, wrote a letter, and asked her daughter to send it to Commander Greil.
