Bleach: No Longer A Substitute

One year has passed since Ichigo Kurosaki, former Substitute Soul Reaper defeated Aizen at the cost of his Soul Reaper powers. It seemed that his life would have continued just like that of any other normal human. Yet, in its unpredictability, fate will play its cards again, truths hidden for decades will come out and Ichigo will finally become what he was destined to be.

4. Opening Theme and Sequence

Well, this is different. I saw many stories having their own opening scene so i thought: why not doing my own?

So here it is. And i don't own the song, it's owned by UNLIMITS.

Opening Theme: Haruka Kanata by UNLIMITS

(Instrumental)

The sun shines through a valley of mountains and forests…..

The camera cuts to Ichigo's back, the wind blowing onto his Shihakusho, the young man now a Soul Reaper again and with a Lieutenant's badge on his right arm.

The camera cuts again to a profile of Ichigo's face. He gazes onto the view before him before he nods….

And leaps from the cliff, flying towards the land before him, the Seiretei. As he flies through the clouds he turns midair and appreciates the sensation of the wind flowing on his body and smiles….

(Miagete ita no wa hyakukakkei no sora)

Kisuke, Yoruichi and Isshin are all seen gazing towards the sky while in the World of the Living….

(MAINASU-hyakudo no surechigau shisen ni)

Uryu, Chad, Orihime, Mizuiro, Keigo and Tatsuki are all shown on the outside of their school with a smile on their faces….

Rukia is shown from behind, nodding and smiling encouragingly as she turns to look backwards….

(Itetsuku shinzou nigirishimeta te wa)

Renji is shown with his Zampakuto in Shikai on his shoulders lifting his head up and smiling encouragingly….

(GIRAGIRA asebande ita)

Then all of the captains are shown in the meeting room as the camera zooms out from Yamamoto to show all of them….

(Amakute nigai…..)

Koga Kuchiki, Murasama and finally Aizen are all shown one by one, the first of the three visibly screaming in fury.

Which is then followed by the screen scrolling from left to right, showing all most of the Zampakuto Spirits, in particular Sode No Shirayuki, Senbonzakura, Zabimaru, Hozukimaru, Hyorinmaru, Tobiume, Haineko, Suzumebachi, Tenken etc….

(KONKURIITO no machi de)

The screen cuts to a forest of cherry blossom trees and shows Soi-Fon removing her Captain's Coat with a smile on her lips. The one she is facing is soon shown to be Ichigo, but he doesn't draw his Zampakuto….

(HARUKA KANATA tooku no sora e,

tonde yukeru bokura no koe wa)

They both lunge at each other and the camera spins around them as they exchange punches and kicks with smiles on their faces, in reality the Captain of Squad Two training her new Lieutenant. Finally they block their attacks at the same time and remain locked, looking at each other with a happy and satisfied grin.

(Tataku, tataku doko made mo tooku e todo….)

Throught the entirety of the Seiretei, one by one the Lieutenants and Captains are shown fighting their Zampakuto spirits, from Toshiro clashing against Hyorinmaru, Komamura against Tenken, Ikkaku against Hozukimaru, Yumichika and Ruri'iro Kujaku throwing their spirit vines at each other Kyoraku and Ukitake against Katen Kyokotsu and Sogyo No Kotowari respectively and even Kenpachi is shown facing the spirit of his own Zampakuto Nozarashi, so powerful it's only shown as a massive shadowy figure with glowing red eyes. Finally Yamamoto is shown activating his Bankai, Zankai No Taichi against his Zampakuto Ryujin Jakka.

(HARUKA KANATA bokura no asu wa,

dare mo shiranai, dare mo kesenai…..)

Renji is shown activating his Bankai against Zabimaru while a reluctant Rukia faces Sode No Shirayuki. Soi-Fon is shown fighting her Zampakuto Suzumebachi at high speeds with her Shikai activated and finally Ichigo furiously exchanges blows against Murasama, the rogue Zampakuto

(Fukaku tsuyoku tsukisasaru omoi o shinjiteeee!)

Byakuya and his Zampakuto, Senbonzakura are shown back to back, the former closing his eyes and looking downwards in melancholy, followed by the spirit of his Zampakuto. Finally he is shown walking towards Rukia, crossing paths with her before fading away while Rukia looks downwards in sadness. Finally, as the sun rises, she opens her eyes and one by one all of her friends, from Ichigo, to Orihime, to Chad and Uryu and all the other Captain and Lieutenants appear and come to her side. They all stare at the dawning sun, but surprisingly while Ichigo does come close to her, so does Soi-Fon, coming at Ichigo's right.
