(A few minutes later)
"Where are they?" Zero-One Gemini White questions.
"I don't know." Zero-One Gemini Black answers. Suddenly the two merges back together and the transformation cancels.
"Ow what the hell?" Yuto questions in pain from the forceful cancel of the form and from the headache he got from the form. He quickly takes some painkillers.
"Daito do you know what happened?" Yuto asks as he feels a burn on his right forearm as he grabs it.
"Something interfered with our connection." Daito said.
"How is that possible?" Yuto asks.
"There are a few ways. One of which is the soul." Daito explains.
"The soul?" Yuto questions.
"That burning feeling on your arm. Something is trying to guide you somewhere." Daito said.
"Let me guess if we don't find whatever its guiding me to, we can't transform?" Yuto asks.
"Unfortunately, yes." Daito answers causing Yuto to sigh.
"How do we do this?" Yuto asks.
"It's a game of hot and cold. The closer we get the warmer it becomes." Daito said.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Yuto calls out summoning some Clones.
"You guys find the girls while I deal with this." Yuto said.
"Got it Boss." One Clone said as they rush off. Yuto then holds his right arm up and tries to find a direction.
"This way." Yuto said with his arm pointing in a certain direction as he feels the burning in his arm increase. He walks towards the place the burning in his arm is guiding towards until he comes across a room where he sees an Angel Statue (from the last chapter).
"A Statue of an angel?" Yuto questions as the burning feeling in his arm was intense as he places his hand on the statue causing a small flame to burn away his jacket sleeve revealing the burning feeling was replaced with a tattoo. The tattoo looks like the Flamel symbol minus the snake. The crown is gold, the cross is silver, the wings are white, and they are on a sky-blue colored shield.
Suddenly the stone statue starts cracking before pieces falls out revealing an Angelic woman standing before she starts falling but Yuto quickly catches her. She opens her eyes briefly revealing that they were violet. The Angel looks like Juna Doma from How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom with some differences. She has golden blonde hair and violet eyes. She wears an armor like Leina Vance from Queen's Blade with the arms clear of straps and a pair of black fingerless leather gloves are on her hands. She has a single pair of gold-colored feathered wings. Suddenly in the middle of her chest the same tattoo on Yuto's arm appears.
A name appears in Yuto's mind.
"Her name is Fumika." Yuto said as he was surprised with himself. "How do I know that?"
"The soul bond between you 2 told you." Daito answers.
"Anything else this soul bond does?" Yuto asks as he lifts her up and carries her princess style for now.
"Nothing else for now except giving you both a sense of where each other are and it also tells you each other's emotional states as well if either are lying or telling the truth." Daito said.
"Interesting. We better find the girls." Yuto said as he walks off to find the girls and explain about Fumika.
(With the girls)
"Kurumi do you sense anyone near?" Oda asks. They were deeper in the fortress trying to find any prisoners before they destroy the fortress.
"No." Kurumi said as they entered another arena. Suddenly several knights slam onto the ground kneeling for a second before standing up.
They resemble the Black Knight from Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob but made from stone. Their wrists have spikes like Lancelot (Berserker) from Type Moon, and they are wielding twin spiked iron maces in their hands.
"Golems?" Oda questions.
"No. They're demons possessing them." Kurumi said as she can feel their negative emotions.
"Like that one Grimm Weiss told us about?" Oda asks as Zed transforms into an Ankylosaurus.
"Yeah. When you think about the different worlds that exist it shouldn't be surprising some beings share the same or similar abilities and powers." Kurumi said.
"True." Oda concedes. Oda went into her Sage Modes. The Stone Knights charges at the girls but Oda shoots out sticky webs at the floor which catches some of them in place. The rest of them still charges at them but Zed smacks them away with her tail causing some cracks to appear on their bodies.
"Nice hit Zed." Kurumi praises Zed. Zed roars in response. The Stone Knights that were knocked away got back up as the webbed Stone Knights were still trapped.
"Fire Style: Fox Tail Inferno!" Kurumi calls out as she creates nine tails out of high temperature fire and lashes them out at the webbed Stone Knights melting them and destroying the demons possessing them.
"Hot enough for you?" Kurumi jokes with a smirk. The cracked knights each throw a mace at the girls.
"Water Style: Water Hydra Dragon Jutsu!" Oda calls out as she creates a giant hydra made out of water with nine heads. It grabs the maces with its heads and tendrils of water coming from its body. She then has it slam the maces back on the Stone Knights destroying them.
"Was that it?" Oda questions before the ground rumbles before out a massive Stone Knight with six arms each wielding a different weapon which as a mace like the other Stone Knights, a sword, a Labrys, a round shield, a butcher knife, and a brass knuckle.
"You just had to say it." Kurumi said to Oda.
"Wind Style: Massive Wind Blades Jutsu!" They heard Yuto call out as several massive blades of wind slash the Giant Stone Knight into pieces.
"Hey girls." Yuto said as he walks next to them.
"Yuto." Oda said smiling before noticing the girl in his arms. "Who is this? A prisoner?"
"Kinda. I'll explain." Yuto said as he prepares to explain.
