DISCLAIMER: I NEITHER OWN ONE PIECE NOR HARRY POTTER!
So, here we are on another new chapter! There will be some things which won't have seen coming. Well, I can't help much on that matter. So, sorry! That's all I can say.
And before proceeding to the chapter, thanks for the reviews! It really means a lot, specially in keeping my confidence up. So, thank you!
chynnajealodato15: Yo! It's my first time realizing I have a fan base ≧▽≦ I'm flattered!
5stardragon20101: Thank you so much for the compliment!
Skura Lisel: Well I really like your idea but given Luffy's lack of knowledge about the wizarding world, I don't feel much could be done.
Wishfull-star: Sorry for the delay of posting the chapter then!
Chapter 2
It turned out Harry Potter knew nothing of the magical world, not even his own name. Hagrid was shocked when he had heard it from Professor McGonagall but seeing it with his own eyes was something else. Should he comply with the boy's words and call him Luffy or should he call him by the name given by his parents? It was confusing, to say the least. But one thing he was sure that he would not be getting any responses to the word 'Harry' any time soon.
Hagrid wanted to strangle the Dursleys so bad for not teaching little Potter anything about the Wizard world or his own name even. The boy whose parents were famous, the boy who himself was famous, neither knew his parent's name nor knew what a Wizard is! When he had asked if he knew who his Mom and Dad were, the boy had simply asked him in return, if he had any.
He wanted to tell the boy his own story, but the boy either dozed off or wasn't paying attention at all. He was mostly in his own world, admiring new things and running from one place to another. Never stopping. He was a ball of energy and the smile on his little face made even the strict people slip a smile to him. The most notable example was none other than Professor McGonagall.
Hagrid didn't try explaining the boy his story after the first three times, which he had failed miserably. If the boy could smile that brightly without knowing he had someone who loved him but had died, then it's better to not know.
The next day, it was a new adventure for the little pirate. Everything was a mystery in his eyes in this part of the World, which he had never known! And it was all magic! As Hagrid had told him. There was a mystery wall that opened with a mystery code! Then he saw some broomsticks and kids looking at them with excitement. It must be something cool if people are interested in it.
Next stop was the Gringotts bank. The trolley ride was awesome! He felt as if he was in Shabody amusement park. But for some reason, Hagrid was not feeling well. Maybe he didn't eat food? He saw piles of gold laid in the Potter's account and the goblin told that it was all his. But he hadn't even started going for treasure hunts! So how? But Luffy was reminded of his navigator from the past world. It was a paradise for a redhead girl. His lips wobbled when he realized and heard the Voice telling him there was no Nami near-by.
After a silent wagon ride back to the surface, where Luffy half-heartedly tried to recruit a goblin and Hagrid dragged him out of the bank, Luffy found himself in front of Madame Malkin's to have his uniform made. Luffy wasn't interested in his uniform at all. But Hagrid told him that it was necessary for the school.
Inside the shop, fabric, and string littered almost every available surface. A few floating needles were quickly sewing up cloaks and robes alike while a woman rushed around the shop, looking at various customers and making adjustments. Luffy didn't like the robes that were being made, it looked way too uncomfortable. But there was a promise of meeting someone who he had not seen for many years, which made him gulp down any complaints. The Voices were not telling much. Only telling that he will find out once it's time and that time is coming near.
"What are doing here kid?" Madame Malkin asked looking at him.
"I am not a kid." Luffy said with a pout. What's up with people taking him as a kid? "And I need roves!"
"Which school?" She asked and Luffy thought hard.
"Hogtat something!" He said. Yeah, it was something along that way.
The Madame must have understood as she, next, said, "Hogwarts. Got the lot here- another young man being fitted up just now, in fact."
In the back of the shop, a boy with a pale, pointed face was standing while a second woman was pinning up his black robes. Madam Malkin stood Luffy on a stool next to him and slipped a long robe over his head, and began to pin it to the right length. Luffy was fidgeting 'cause he didn't like the robes! They were getting only uncomfortable. More than uncomfortable when he had to wear a suit to disrupt Big Mom's tea party!
"Hello," said the boy standing beside him. "Hogwarts, too?"
"Yep!" replied Luffy.
The boy went on chattering about some stuff that Luffy didn't understand and felt that it was completely boring. He was ignoring the boy completely after a moment, not even answering him in favor of looking around the mysteries of the shop.
"Hey! Respond to me!" said the boy in annoyance.
Luffy turned his head towards the pale boy and blinked his eyes. What was the blonde saying? But luckily before he could respond, Madam Malkin interrupted them. The boy's dress was done.
"Well, I'll see you at Hogwarts, I suppose," said the drawling boy.
Luffy just grinned at him and caught the sight of Hagrid carrying ice-creams. His smile widened, which was only possible for him. He wanted those! Those looked quite delicious! But with one glare from the Madam, he stopped fidgeting but couldn't help the droll which was accumulating.
Soon, he was allowed to rush to the door, and had an ice cream from Hagrid! Hagrid's the best now! But after his brothers, crew, and his friends.
They stopped to buy parchments and quills. Luffy was continuously held by Hagrid so he doesn't run away too far. He was pouting about that. But his mood changed when he saw how the bottle of inks changed color when they were written with. But why will he need them? Luffy shrugged off the question.
They brought more school books in a shop called Flourish and Blotts where the shelves were stacked to the ceiling with books as large as paving stones bound in leather. But Luffy's attention was on other stores. Who was interested in books after all? At least not him! He doubts he is ever gonna open those books even!
They then went to an owl shop. A white snowy owl caught his attention soon. The owl looked like Merry, and was giving off her feelings.
"Merry," Luffy said to the owl and this simple thing made the owl happy. Luffy grinned widely and proceeded to open the cage despite the words of Hagrid and the store owner. Merry perched on top of his shoulder chirping. Luffy petted her feathers and gently scratched her ears, making the owl hoot happily.
"Now you only need one more thing, 'arry, that's a wand!" Luffy followed Hagrid happily. The last shop was narrow and shabby. Peeling gold letters over the door, which read Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B. C.
As they stepped in, a tinkling bell rang somewhere in the depths of the shop. It was almost boring for Luffy to see all the racks of wood piled up in a place.
"Good afternoon," said a soft voice. Luffy didn't flinch as Hagrid flinched in his chair, where he was seated. The man in front of him was very old, with wide, pale eyes shining like moons through the gloomy shop.
"Hello!" Luffy chirped enthusiastically.
"Ah yes," said the man. He was a bit confusing for Luffy to follow. But the man was giving off a good mysterious feeling to Luffy. And mystery means a new adventure. So, the young man tried to hang onto every word, he was being said.
"Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon. Harry Potter." Luffy pouted at the name. He still didn't like the name. He is Luffy and always will be Luffy.
"You have your mother's eyes. It seems only yesterday she was here herself, buying her first wand. Ten and a quarter inches long, swishy, made of willow. Nice wand for charm work." Luffy didn't hang onto any words the man was saying. But he had a Mom? It was the first time he was hearing it. In his previous life also, he didn't have a Mom. Why now then?
But Luffy's interest was somewhere else again. The old man was creeping closer to him.
"Your father on the other hand..." He again started babbling. Seriously, people here have some problems. What does it matter? Luffy wasn't paying any attention again until the old man was way too close. His nose was touching with his and he was looking straight into his eyes. Well, he isn't gonna give up the game. He stared at the old man's eyes intently, until the old man touched the cool scar on his forehead with his long, white finger.
"I'm sorry to say I sold the wand that did it," said the man softly. Luffy blinked. So, the cool scar he got was done by the magic sticks! Yep, he understands it! He is not that dumb. In his musings, Luffy tuned out the rest of the conversation.
"Which is your wand arm?" asked the man getting his attention. Luffy tilted his head in confusion.
"What's that?"
"Your dominant arm," said the man patiently. Luffy did an 'o' with his mouth.
"Both!"
"That's interesting," mused the old man. He was used to fighting and eating with both hands if that was what the old man meant.
He then started measuring him from shoulder to finger, then wrist to elbow, shoulder to foot, knee to armpit, and round his head. After that was over, the old man started giving him the magic sticks and asked him to wave. But before he could wave with one, it was taken away from his hands.
"Tricky customer, eh? Not to worry, we'll find the perfect match here somewhere- I wonder, now- yes, why not- try this," said the man. Finally, he was about to wave it.
Luffy held the wand excitedly when a sudden warmth rushed over him, making him tingle all over. The warmth promised for life, reminded him of all the lovely moments he had spent on Sunny Go, Merry Go, and with his brothers.
"Vine wood with Phoenix core, 12.5 inches, quite flexible," Ollivander said, he was expecting great things from Mr. Potter.
Hagrid paid seven galleons for the wand. All the while, Luffy kept swishing his wand. But nothing was happening. After being bored by his new toy, Luffy put it aside.
"We are expecting great things from you, Monkey D. Luffy," muttered the old man, seeing the enthusiastic kid. Luffy grinned one last time to the man before taking off with Hagrid.
After getting all his supplies, Hagrid was about to drop him off to some Dursleys, whom Luffy didn't even know. And something told him that he wouldn't like to go there. So he denied Hagrid's offer and stayed with the old bartender.
The days which passed in Leaky Cauldron were boring. He was not allowed to step out of the inn. And whenever he tried, he was magically brought back inside the bar. It was BORING! He wanted to go on an adventure. Have some fun! But here nothing was fun! Expect the tons of food he could eat and Merry who kept him company. That was the only thing Luffy looked forward for the whole week. The people in the bar were odd. They kept shaking his hand and confirming if his name was Harry Potter. It was weird.
On the morning of his train to Hogwarts, Tom the old barkeeper came to wake him up. Finally, he can leave the boring place and go for adventures! So, he hurriedly went off to change into his favorite red shirt and blue shorts, which Hagrid had helped him buy.
"MEAT! MEAT!" Luffy asked getting down in a hurry to Tom. But there wasn't enough time to consume his food, so Tom denied.
"How about I get you a lunch box?" That doesn't sound bad, so Luffy agreed. After haphazardly packing his school supplies, which he still doesn't know why they are with him, he came down once again. And was ready to run, but Tom caught him.
"Lad, step on that fireplace," said the man, taking out a handful of powder.
"Repeat after me, King's Cross Station platform 9 and 3 quarters," said the old man.
"King Gross Tation platfrom..." Luffy titled his head, "9 quaters!" Luffy grinned, having assumed that he had successfully said whatever the man was saying.
But the bar erupted in laughter, making him pout. Did he say it wrong?
The old man chuckled, "How about I say it?"
Before Luffy could retaliate that he can do it himself. The man took some powder and threw it in the fireplace while muttering the words. Luffy's world spun on its axis and he found himself falling from somewhere with his luggage in the ground.
Luffy looked around, and found himself in front of some redheads, who were vanishing one by one after crossing a wall! That looked so cool! Luffy jumped up and trotted to the lady, who looked the eldest.
"Hello," He said to the plump woman.
"Hello, dear," She said. "First time at Hogwarts? Ron's new, too." She pointed at the last and youngest red head.
"Yes," Luffy chirped. "How can I do that?"
"All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you are nervous. Go on, go now before Ron."
"Thank you," Luffy said giving his D grin. He turned towards the wall and dashed in with his trolley. The sight which greeted him was breath taking.
Their was a scarlet steam engine waiting on the platform, which was packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, elven o' clock. Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Luffy felt the urge to play with the cats, but he ignored it in favor of taking in the sight of the platform. It was magical! Cooler than the Puffing Tom which was in Water 7!
He looked at the train and found some of the carriages were already packed with children, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats. Luffy grinned widely.
His eyes were not leaving the train, as if it were searching for something or particular someone. He didn't know. He was brought out of his admiring the platform and the train, by a red-haired teen.
"Want a hand?" He asked kindly.
Did he want a hand? In reality, no! He could carry his trolley easily. "Thank you, but I can carry them." He replied politely and went back to his searching.
"Oy, Fred! C'mere!" Luffy turned around and found two red-heads! One should be Bon-chan!
"Bon-chan!" He spoke before he could think. One of them ought to be Bon-chan, but he didn't feel any confirmation from them or the Voices.
He pouted and spread his senses everywhere to check if there was anyone who he knew, when the Voice stopped at a place. He stopped vibrating from excitement. He stopped breathing. His eyes were getting blurry and the voices of those identical people were ignored. Everyone in the near vicinity was ignored by him. The Voices which he had been searching for a lifetime, the Voices which he was dying to meet were back.
Luffy ran with his trolley in one hand. Merry followed him perfectly, threading in between people. Luffy ran ignoring the people trying to shout at him or stop him from pushing them. He just ran to where the voice was calling him. His heart was beating fast and his legs were shaking, but Luffy didn't care. He can't let them leave. He can't afford to leave them ever again!
He stepped onto one of the train carriages, opening every compartment, when he found them.
Born on 1st January 1980, were two twins, with the recollection of their past. The moment they were born they were completely confused. Both of them shared identical traits, such as dying to protect their brother. But they weren't identical. One had his blonde wavy hair and the other his black semi-wavy hair with his face adorned with freckles. The boys were lifted and kissed on their crowns by a tall man with long, black curly hair and grey eyes.
"Blimey!" The man exclaimed happily to his wife who was lying on her maternal bed after her hard labor of giving birth to two little boys in the world.
"Look, darling, he's got my eyes and this one yours!" The said boys were confused until they met each other's eyes and their eyes widened, finding their past brothers in each other. A smile found its way on their faces, making their new parents coo at them.
The boys were utterly confused. They had died and each knew that the other had died too. The question which they didn't know was why the hell were they here. But they were glad to find each other all again.
"Aww, aren't you two the cutest?" The woman with beautiful auburn hair smiled at them filling them with a warmth making them recognize that this was this life's version of their mother. She cooed gently and made funny faces at them. The boys grinned at it, holding each other's hands. They were jovial to get a family, which they had craved in their early childhood in their past lives. Now, here they were about to have a happy family and a normal life.
"Welcome to the World, Asher Black and Felix Black," said the said looking at Ace and Sabo.
"Hope so, they don't get your penchant for getting into trouble, Mr. Sirius Black," The lady on the bed said with a chuckle.
"Aww," cooed the man placing the boys on the bed with their mother, "If they get it, I'll save them." They were both laughing, and the twins memorized the scene, every little detail that a novice would be careless and miss it. It was a wondrous memory, and Asher and Felix would treasure it like real treasure 'cause someone was looking at them with eyes filled with love as if they were their whole world.
But like every unfortunate thing, which had not left them even in their previous life, the boys found their mother dead, when their Dad had gone to meet the Potters. When he had returned he had hugged the one year old boys to his chest and cried for the loss of his beloved. They had held onto their father and cried with him. Their new mother was the most amazing person they had ever seen in their life. The feeling of having a loving and caring mother was the most sacred thing to them after a father. They were beginning to cherish their new lives, but it was all shattered in minutes.
"It's fine," Their Dad said wiping their tears. "You both are not alone. I would never leave you both. Ok?" He said them with his own teary voice. The twins could only nod at it.
"I love you, my boys," He hugged them all again. The next day they said their final goodbyes to their Mom and left the house where their little precious memories were, all because it wasn't safe anymore.
Their Dad took them to his friend's house, which was the Potters. There they met Harry Potter or rather Monkey D. Luffy, who even remembered his past. They were soon inseparable. Their Dad stayed with them and catered to their needs. Even Lily and James, Harry's parents, looked after them with care and love. They would miss their new Mom and they knew it, but the love and warmth made them forget the loss they had to go through.
A week before 31 Oct 1981, their Dad and his friends had come to their new house. They met them all. Remus Lupin and Petter Pettigrew, though the latter didn't feel good at all. Even Luffy started crying and thrashing in his attempts to get off the man once he wanted to hold him.
The week was going on normally. James and Lily would look after the trio while their Dad would look after the needs of the little family. So, on 31 October, Sirius Black was out for buying food. Voldemort came to Godric's Hollow.
They were powerless, but not soundless and will less. Their Haki flared at the moment knocking the Dark Lord the moment he used the killing curse on their little brother. Their world seemed to have stopped, they had stopped breathing and only tears were coming from their eyes. Lily Potter died that day, after using a powerful spell that rebounded the killing curse from Harry to the Dark Lord.
They were safe once again but at the cost of two lives. James and Lily Potter. Luffy was unconscious at the time when Ace and Sabo helped to get the boy down from his crib. Their location was announced to the Death Eaters and soon dark Witches and Wizards would come to hunt for them. But their little wobbly legs weren't able to walk much. Luckily, their Dad appeared right at that moment, running in with horrified eyes. He hugged them instantly.
"I'm so sorry," He said while hugging them. "Why the hell was I not here?" He cried with them. The man was innocent they knew but couldn't believe their bad luck. Twice! Twice the man was absent when they needed him! But they couldn't blame him, they weren't better. They were powerless as they watched the incidents happen. They were helpless. They were weak, useless, and pathetic!
He removed them from his chest and thoroughly checked if they were wounded. He cleaned the lightening scar on their little brother's forehead as gently as he could.
Two families were destroyed that day. Both in the hands of Voldemort directly or indirectly. It wasn't after an hour that Luffy woke up. Their Dad had not left them and Luffy was clinging to them and crying.
"How? How did Voldemort know of the location? We changed it just last week when.." Their Dad's eyes widened and Sabo who had heard it, started putting the pieces together. Their Dad and his friends had discussed everything in front of them, feeling that they were innocent kids and won't remember anything.
After the friendly reunion of their friends, the secret keeper of the new house was Petter Pettigrew.
"Pettigrew," Sabo's mouth slipped before he could think. His Dad turned towards him an instant and picked him up and looked straight into his eyes.
"I know my kid is smart," He heard offended shouts from both Ace and Luffy but didn't mind. "But I even know you can't be that much smart. I won't ask who are you but I would ask you three to keep it a secret. Not everyone would react like I do."
Sirius Black had always known there was more to his kids. Especially after they met little Harry and how the kids reacquainted as if they were long-lost friends. He hadn't missed how little Harry called his sons Ace and 'Bo and how his sons called him Lu or Luff or Luffy.
He had ignored it when his kids had started speaking at four months, thinking as if they were prodigies but when his oldest twin started cursing at his other brother, which might make even Voldemort feel ashamed, he knew something was wrong. Heck! Some of the curse words he had never even heard! Moreover how the other had reacted by showing his wisdom was on another level! He had kept an eye on the twins most of the time, but his love for them never deteriorated.
The three fit with each other as if they were meant to be.
Sabo looked at his brothers, judging their expressions. They could tell Sirius that and it would be the right choice and not the wrong one. They could feel it in their guts. His brothers shrugged, not caring if someone knew.
"What if we said that we had died and were resurrected in this world?" Sabo looked in the eyes of his new father who brought them together and hugged them.
"Sorry," He said almost in a whisper. "You three have to go through death." He had accepted it in an instant. He was about to speak more when a big giant came in, in the little house.
"Kids," Ace looked offended at the word instantly, making Sirius give him a fond smile. "Stay here."
And he went off to chat with Hagrid about whatever he had come for. A few moments later they could hear shouts like, "They are my responsibility! I won't allow you to take them away!" And such...
After a heated argument, Sirius Black came out of the room, looking utterly devasted. He crouched down to them and ruffled their hair gently. Luffy was blinking at him, as if he wasn't able to read the guy well and was feeling something odd was going on. The twins even felt it.
"I'll be back, ok?" He said in almost a whisper. "Hagrid will take care of you three for a moment." He then stood up with his fists balled and smiled at them. "I need to take care of a pest. I will be back soon. Behave till then."
That was when it hit Sabo that their Dad was going after Petter Pettigrew. The anger on his face reminded him of Ace when he would take any reckless action which would lead to trouble. He couldn't help but repeat the word 'no, not again'.
Hagrid came in the room when their Dad left and looked at them, with pity in his eyes. They didn't need anybody's pity! It looked like Ace and Luffy hadn't caught on to what their Dad had went to do, so Sabo didn't share his worries. He prayed and hoped that the last person who they have, who had accepted them in this world should not die. To distract themselves they played with each other for a while, until Hagrid left for outside.
After an hour he came with a tall old man, with silver hair and a beard so long that it can be ticked into his belt. He was looking at them with twinkling eyes. The old man knew something.
"Where is Dad?" Sabo asked. Catching his tone in an instant, Ace and Luffy stood with their guards on.
"I'm sorry kids," The man said and they felt their world collapsing. The sweet innocent and loving family to which they had gotten attached was snatched away from them. The boys couldn't help the tears which left their eyes. Luffy held their hands giving them comfort. The thing which Sabo was afraid of had happened!
"Now, if you would hand little Potter to me, I would take him to a safe place," The man tried to convince but the brothers weren't taking any of it.
"No go!" Luffy shouted in his baby voice, holding their hands tightly. Ace and Sabo instantly stood in front of their little baby brother, forgetting their grief.
"He won't go with you," Ace said leveling his glare at the old man.
"Harry," The old man said crouching to their heights. "Your Mom would have wanted you to go with your only living relative."
Sabo narrowed his eyes at the old man who was daring to separate them. But the question was where will they go now? Now that they had no one left for them in this new world, which did not work at all like their past one.
Luffy glared at the old man. "NO! Want Ace 'Bo!"
The old man raised an eyebrow at such closeness but didn't comment.
"I'm sorry," He said taking out his wand from his cloak and pointing at them. The brothers shielded Luffy and were about to fight tooth and nail for their brother when the old man used some spells. Before any of them knew the trio were on the ground lying unconscious.
Luffy was sent to his only living relative with no memories of the last six months, 'cause Dumbledore didn't want the boy to get nightmares from the horrible incident. He wanted the boy to grow without knowing himself.
When the duo twins found their consciousness they were in the 12 Grimmauld Place, with a lady, who introduced herself as Walburga Black, their grandmother, and a house elf, Kreacher. But they wanted Luffy! They wanted to see him again! To make sure he was safe. They couldn't remove the last memory of their Dad and Luffy from their mind at all.
Whenever they would ask their grandmother about their Dad, she would burst on them. Telling that he was a no-good son who became a proud Gryffindor, unlike the rest of the family who were Slytherin.
It would confuse them. They didn't know much about the World, but from the perception of their Grandmother pure bloods were greatest while the mixed bloods, or rather Muggles should be hated. That made the twins think that this world was also the same as their own, where Nobles were regarded with high regard while the others were crumbled. But they didn't keep their thoughts forward for their grandmother to know. She was a loving woman, but not so loving when it came to the topics of pure-blood and mixed blood wizards and witches.
They knew the world was not black and white. It always had flaws in it.
Sabo was feeling that he was once again stuck in his previous world all again. But he was not alone. He had Ace with him and even Kreacher who became their friend. He would always listen to their thoughts about how mean their grandma can be sometimes but how soft the next second. She felt like Garp, who would instill his opinions on them, even if some were unjust, and how much he would speak about the Marines.
So, when in 1995, when she died, they cried. They were alone now, with no one to yell at them about purebloods, about her ideals. They would miss her, even if they said otherwise. That was the age when they started their training. Kreacher would help them after every spar they did, even if they said otherwise. The house elf was kind to them and smart. He had figured that they were different somehow. But they didn't speak much about it.
He would tell them about the wizarding world and all the things they ought to know. When they spoke about Voldemort, Kreacher's mood would darken. He had even asked if they wanted to follow him. With their scrunched faces, he had understood that they would never. They told him how their mother was killed as collateral in the Great War and how their Dad even died, even though Kreacher seemed to know but he had stopped in his tracks for a minute. He looked guilty as if he was hiding something.
After being forced by them to tell what he knew, he finally told them at the age of seven.
"Sirius Black was sent to Azkaban for being accused of murdering Petter Pettigrew and twelve muggles and of serving Voldemort. He is believed to be the one who exposed the hiding place of the Potters," Kreacher finally told them. That day it felt like the ground had slipped past their legs. The happiness which they felt about hearing Petter was murdered was crumbled into pieces.
"He would never," He said firmly. "Mom died in the war 'cause of Voldemort," Kreacher flinched at the name but that was common for anyone hearing the name.
They knew what had happened. They knew the man was innocent and when they found out that he wasn't even given a trial to prove his innocence, they exploded. That day went into sparring and taking out their impending anger on the government on each other. The least to say, they were badly hurt at the end of it. But neither regretted.
Sabo ventured into the library of the Grimmauld Place to look for anything that would help to prove the man innocent. Ace spent his time with Sabo learning all about the new world. They wandered off their houses frequently, careful about the muggles who lived beside them.
They found many ways through which one could be proven innocent. They could use Legilimens, to read his mind and find the one who was guilty. Or Prior Incantato, to check what was the last spell used by him. Or Veritaserum, the literal truth potion! Or even the Pensive to look into his memory for a bit!
But no, the corrupted ministry, or rather Barty Crouch Sr., locked the poor man in Azkaban without even a trial! And when the man was exposed as a death eater, he got a trial! What a joke!
And the worst thing was that Azkaban was guarded by Dementors. Not much information was available about them, except for the fact that they sucked happiness and their kiss can make a person soulless! And that's where the man, who believed them, who trusted them, who is innocent, who is their father, is locked into!
They could prove him innocent by showing their memories but every time they tried to contact the ministry, someone would stop them. It was as if the ministry was against the idea of even letting them in!
The only option Sabo could find was a break-in into Azkaban. They need to free an innocent man! He had suffered a lot more than he should already!
Ace was listing ideas on how they could enter the ministry when Sabo let out a mocking laugh. "From when did you become a law-biding citizen? We can break into Azkaban when we are strong."
Ace stopped in his tracks and turned to Sabo with a brilliant smile on his face. "We can break in right now even," He got a glare from Sabo in an instant.
"And how are thinking to defeat those dementors who will be on guard there?" Sabo asked getting from the chair he was sitting on. "We need to learn about them. We need to know how to defeat them! We cannot head into it without analyzing the situation."
"Fine," Ace grumbled.
Soon, Ace and Sabo were 11 years old, and their invitation to Hogwarts came. If they were serious they didn't want to go there. But the hope of finding Luffy again contradicted everything. So, with determination in their eyes, they boarded the train, hoping to find their long-lost brother, whom Dumbledore had taken away from them.
They placed their luggage in a cabin away from everyone. They were not unknown of the fury of the people, who would be against them after hearing their names. They didn't want to indulge in any of them right now. They had ignored the hateful comments they had gotten. They were together in this and together they are stronger.
They hadn't talked to anyone or told them their names to avoid the hate they were supposed to get. They didn't care, but it hurt and when they had enough they would pound the people to the ground for their daring filthy mouth. So, out of the crowd, the two brothers were sitting, when they felt it.
Ace's wand: Phoenix core + Holly Wood + 12 inches
-Holly- Works with those who may need help overcoming a tendency to anger and impetuosity. People engaged in dangers and spiritual quest are best suited for it.
-Holly wood + Phoenix feather- nobody and nothing can stand in their way.
Sabo's wand: Phoenix core + Redwood + 12 inches

A/n:
Welp! I left the story in a cliffhanger, which can be an obvious. Well, who do you think Luffy found? And who did Ace and Sabo found?
I was not going to leave the story here, but I had to rewrite the story of the two twins which made the chapter longer. Its already past the word limit, which I had set to 4500 and its now 5884. So, I had to leave it here.
To say the truth, I had thought of making Ron Weasley as Ace and Hermione Granger as Sabo, but then I went in to change it, 'cause I wanted the original Ron and Hermione in the story. Also, if I ever decide to let the straw hats join in, then may be I can use them. Well, I don't know to be exact, and even if I add the other straw hats it will much later in the story. Writing too many characters is not my specialty!
And the next chapter will be on: 27th July, 2023! Stay tuned if you like!
