Chapter 1 - Enter the Nexus
In a distant galaxy long far away from earth. A strange satellite ship is seeing crossing at high speed towards an unknown destination.
"By the stars!" - Said a woman of black hair in a white and black outfit as she sees the vast and infinity space through the giant glass dome that protects the satellite.
"This... This isn't South Town isn't it?" - Said a blonde man with a red hat, blue pants and a red jacket
"How we have arrived here?" - Said Chizuru as she looks at the rest of the people that had appeared in this strange satellite alongside her, recognizing some familiar faces among the surprised individuals
"I really can't tell you much, Miss Kagura. Whoever is behind this turned us into subatomic matter saving it and teleporting us here, in some type of ship in the space. Where we were rebuilded in a system as ourselves again." - Said a scientist of brown hair and a lab coat.
"Hmmm... Would you mind repeat that in english?" - Said Kyo Kusanagi
"Isn't obvious?" - Maxima
"Obvious? Did you understood something from what that man said, Maxima?" - Whip
"Most of it, he just said we were teletransported here somehow... Possible has to do with that strange machine we found in that park on Calgary." - Maxima
"I don't get it! Where are we?" - Kula
"Everyone calm down, I suggest we do something easy first. Maybe a recount?" - Said a young girl with a red bow in her hair and a white outfit with red details.
"I'll start, I'm Nakoruru from the Kamui Kotan village, this is my royal partner Mamahaha. And this three that are alongside me are Haohmaru, Galford D. Weller and Genjuro Kibagami." - Says Nakoruru presenting the confused Haohmaru and Galford and the silent Genjuro.
"I'm Kaede, this three that are alongside me are my brother Moriya Minakata, Akari Ichijou and Shigen Naoe." - Said the black haired swordman know as Kaede
"I'm Kusanagi Kyo from Osaka. The grumpy red haired man is Yagami Iori, the man of the red hat is called Terry Bogard, the purple headed idol chick is Asamiya Athena, the black haired woman is Kagura Chizuru, The blue haired girl in green is Leona Heidern, the woman of brown hair dressed... In that! Is Shiranui Mai and the man of Orange Gi is Sakazaki Ryo." - Said Kyo introducing the fighters he recognizes getting a not so good reaction from Mai in the process.
"I'm Seirah and this are my family... Maxima, K' and.." - Whip
"HI I'M KULA DIAMOND, PLEASED TO MEET YOU!" - Said Kula interrupting Seirah as she goes to shake hands with Kaede smiling for Kaede's surprise and getting a weird look from Akari and an annoyed look from Seirah
"My name is Marco Rossi." - Marco
"Just call me Rosa." - Said the woman in a red shirt with a sword called Rosa
"I'm Doctor Brown Sugar and she is Jeanne D' Arc." - Said Doctor Brown
"I think I saw you in a story book once!" - Said Kula greeting Jeanne for she and Doctor Brown surprises.
*SCrack* - A strange sound is heared as the heroes turn around seeing a similar satellite to the one where they were trapped with other familiar faces for some of them.
"Look? That other satellite has more people.." - Ryo
"Wait a moment, are they who I think they are?" - Says Kyo recognizing two men and a red headed woman and especially a blonde haired man with a red suit.
"Athena, can you tell us who is in that other ship?" - Asks Chizuru
"I felt your petition Chizuru, I'm mentally ivestigating... I'll tell you in a moment who this other group are but one thing is certain... Their chis are dark and full of negative thoughts." - Says Athena focusing on getting a image of what was happening in the other ship in her mind
"By Ambrosia!" Said a woman of black hair on the other ship surprised
"What is this place?" - Said a blonde man with a white and red outfit
"Where are we? What is going on?" - Said a man of brown and blue hair carrying a spear
"(Something or someone must have transported us here from the space and time, I recognize some of them like Geese Howard, Mr. Big and Wolfgang Krauser who were once my clients.)" - Rugal
"(Those three look familiar for some reason...)" - Thought Rugal looking at Yashiro, Shermie and Chris
"(The man of the strange trenchcoat, The blonde guy, the man of the red mask, that woman of long black hair, the girl of the strange yellow scarf, the man with the spear, the other one with sword and that humanoid creature with an empty expression. I've never seen them before.)" - Thought Rugal looking at Krizalid, Zeus, Grant, Mizuki Rashoujin, Botan, Shion, Setsuna and Neo Dio
"(On the other hand I recognize those in the right, the infamous serial killer from South Town Freeman, the so called demon of Karate Silber, King Leo, The former head of the Hizoku clan Ron and another former client of mine Allen O'Neil.)" - Comments Rugal in his mind seeing Freeman, Silber, King Leo and Allen O'Neil.
"(Are my eyes decieving me, is that... Kusanagi Kyo?! NO, there's something different about him. A imposter or perhaps something else with the image of Kusanagi?)" - Thinks Rugal seeing the twisted reflection of Kyo called Kusanagi standing alongside Krizalid
*Arughghgh* - A strange laughter is heared as Rugal looks up seeing a strange alien looking creature with his brain exposed, small arms and two devilish yellow eyes. Unknow to Rugal, this creature isn't other than Rootmars leader of the Mars People, invaders that had tried to take over earth in the past.
"What is that? The who's who of the bad guys or something?" - Marco
"This doesn't make any sense, who is behind this must be crazy to gather all of them together." - Said Chizuru surprised to see Chris, Yashiro and Shermie alongside the rest in the other ship.
"Argh!" - Kyo covers his eyes as a very bright flash of light is seen in the horizon calling the attention of everyone in both satellites.
"Look, the stars! The entire Galaxy in front of us is starting to disappear!" - Comments Athena as the stars and everything that was part of the galaxy suddenly vanishes making the trip in the empty space look more desolated.
"Incredible." - Terry
"What is going on? We are starting to move faster." - Says Kyo as the two satellites increase their speed.
For the surprise of the band of fighters, they manage to see something in the horizon... A planet
"Is that earth?" - Mai
"No, Mai. That doesn't look anything like Earth." - Chizuru
"Look that planet is almost as if is being formed as we come closer to it." - Says Whip noticing giant chunks of earth collapsing and merging with this strange planet.
"Hmph!" - Iori
"I can't believe what I'm seeing, such incalculable power! Whoever is behind this must have powers that could rival those of a god." - Said Rugal astonished as he sees the forming of this planet in the lonely galaxy
"Imbecile, look where you walking or I'll-" - Krizalid
"What are you going to do about it, brush hair? I could kill you easily if I wanted." - Yashiro
"You pathetic muscle head! Just try it!" - Krizalid
As Krizalid and Yashiro are about to attack each other suddenly
*Blammm* - A laser almost hits both making them backoff
"I'M NEO DIO, THE PERFECT BEING! I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING OR WHAT I'M DOING HERE BUT I KNOW MY DESTINY IS TO KILL EACH ONE OF YOU, INSIGNIFICANT CREATURES!" - Screams Neo Dio looking at everyone with cold and murderous eyes
"NEO DIO MUST DESTROY YOU ALL!" - Says Neo Dio as he starts attacking everyone in the satellite
"What the hell is wrong with that maniac?" - Asks Mr. Big jumping to avoid Neo Dio's attacks
"Come to me, freak. You don't scare the great King Leo!" - King Leo
"Think you can take control of that thing, Botan?" - Asked Shion
"Maybe but I have a better idea." - Botan uses one of her string lines to pull Neo Dio's legs without him noticing as he fights with the rest
"What is this? Who dares to touch DIO?" - Exclaims Neo Dio feeling his feet being tied up
"How about this." - Using her control over the strings Botan tosses Dio towards Rootmars
*Arughghgh* - The giant Rootmars looks at Neo Dio as suddenly Neo Dio starts levitating towards him
"WHAT? What is happening, I'm levitating towards this creature..." - Neo Dio moves his legs and arms as he is face to face with Rootmars
"DIO WILL KILL YOU! YOU BIG SIZE DOESN'T MEAN NOTHING AGAINST THE PERFECT BEING, I'LL SKIN YOU ALIVE AND THEN MURDER YOU SLOWLY... ARGH!" - Neo Dio screams as a big wave of electric rays covers Neo Dio with Rootmars absorbing his energy
After this Rootmars lefts Neo Dio's body to fall to the ground
"Wow, he took all his energy from his mouth. He turned him off." - Says Yashiro as he and the others approach the seemingly dead body of Neo Dio
"He is out." - Botan
"Look! That alien is looking outside, as if we were not worthy of his attention." - Krizalid
"He barely felt attacked by Neo Dio... Almost as if it was just a fly for him." - Zeus
*Splash* - Suddenly a very loud sound is heared in the space as a strange bright light appears close to the strange planet were the satellites are going
"What is that light? Is almost as if a rift was open in the space." - Athena
"Is so bright." - Ryo
"Calm, listen I hear something." - Nakoruru
"I'M URBE THE ALL MIGHTY! SLAY YOUR OPPONENTS AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED WITH ANYTHING YOU DESIRE! NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IF YOU SEE PASS THE BARRIER!" - Said a strange voice full with echo catching the attention of everyone
"Urbe?" - Kyo
"Such powerful chi... His energy has no limits!" - Chizuru
*Arughghgh* - For everyone's surprise Rootmars launches to approach to the strange light of energy where that voice came
"What is that alien doing?" - Chris
"And that woman, she is going after him too?" - Comments Rugal seeing Mizuki also flying following Rootmars
"(I made it. Just before the forcefield of that metallic giant basket closed, Rakikikiki... My powers will protect me from the void of the space and I'll be able to follow this brainless creature towards this Urbe.)" - Thinks Mizuki flying close by Rootmars as both approach the strange rift in the space where this voice was heared
"(He hasn't even see me, excellent. Let him fight against this Urbe. When the right moment comes, I'll be able to take advantage of that. Oh how many secrets would be revealed to me, all that power could be mine Rakikikiki...)" - Mizuki
"STOP! YOU CAN COME CLOSER TO ME, THE BARRIERS WILL REPELL YOU!" - Said the strange voice
*Arughghgh* - Rootmars
"(The energy, is touchable. Visible, is almost alive. I can't approach anymore... This force, I-I can felt pushing me away not matting how much I try to get closer.)" - Mizuki
*PLUSH* - The rift in the space closes as a light comes from it hitting Rootmars and Mizuki as both fall to the strange planet
"Both have been rejected like insects!" - Says Kyo seeing Mizuki and Rootmars falling to the planet
"For that being, even Rootmars is nothing more than a fly." - Marco
"We are almost landing, we're separating from the other group." - Says Mai as she sees the satellite where the other group came landing very far from their satellite
"Good." - Galford
"We have landed. Quick lets form a circle, we must be prepare for anything." - Chizuru
"She is good giving orders, eh?" - K'
"I trust Chizuru, she is a wise woman." - Athena
"Nakoruru, can you?" - Chizuru
"Yes, I'll let Mamahaha fly and take a look at our surroundings." - Says Nakoruru letting go of her hawk as Mamahaha flies
Three minutes later Mamahaha lands on Nakoruru's arm
"No sign of them, Miss Kagura." - Nakoruru
"Good, we can start moving out." - Chizuru
"Hey, Athena." - Kyo
"Yes, what is it, Kyo?" - Athena
"Don't you think there's something famliar about that Nakoruru girl?" - Says Kyo whispering to Athena in her ear
"She-She looks very similar to Shingo's cousin Asuna... Right?" - Athena
"Yes... That's exactly what I was gonna said. But those eyes and the clunky personality of Asuna are very different." - Kyo
"Maybe is just a coincidence?" - Athena
"Is me or Iori has been very silent lately?" - Athena
"No, you're right. Normally Yagami isn't this silence, still if there's someone in this group unpredictable is him. I won't get my eye out of him." - Kyo stares at the silent Yagami as they keep walking
"We will need a leader." - Rosa
"Ms. Kagura, how about you?" - Doctor Brown
"I don't think so... My mind is currently in so much places right now, I-I'm just not the right one, how about you Nakoruru?" - Chizuru
"You flatter me, Miss Kagura but we barely know each other and I don't think I would be able to be a good leader. How about you Kyo?" - Nakoruru
"Well, I wouldn't mind but what about you Athena? You read minds and that has always looked like a useful power." - Kyo
"I also read hearts, Kyo and I don't know anyone else with your courage or bravery." - Athena
"Are you all out of your mind? There's no way I would follow Kusanagi." - K'
"I would, I know Kyo for quite sometime. What Athena said is truth he is reliable guy so I trust him." - Terry
"Then is decided." - Said Ryo as he, Mai and Chizuru reagroup alongside Kyo, Terry and Athena.
"I guess it could work..." - Rosa and Marco join with them as so does Nakoruru's and Kaede's group.
"What about you, Yagami?" - Kyo
"..." - Iori stays in silence looking at Kusanagi
"Are you with us or against us? Listen, I know you must be as confused as I am but right now we need to stay together to be able to go against them, you saw them right? The Hakkeshu and Rugal, this being. This Urbe brought them back to live and I'm sure you know the danger they represent or I am wrong, Yagami?" - Kyo
"(Iori...)" - Chizuru
"Hehehe... I can see it in your eyes. That man Rugal and those three pests appearing again have you worried, isn't it. I don't plan to go anywhere for now but don't think I'll be following any order from you unlike them. I'll play this dumb game my way and I hope you know once this ends, that I'll put an end to you!" - Iori
"Don't worry! I look foward to fight with you again once this mess is over. You're free to to stay or leave but you better not become a liability for us either way, Yagami." - Kyo
"... Hmph!" - Says Iori as he walks behind the rest with Chizuru, Leona, Genjuro and Moriya staring at the heir of the Yasakani with serious looks
Meanwhile
"Alive... And he is too." - Says Mizuki recovering from the fall as she sees the unconscious body of Rootmars in the place where they landed
"(What power! It surpasses anything I've seen before.)" - Mizuki
As Mizuki keeps walking she sees a fortress in the horizon.
"A fortress! Without a doubt a gift from Urbe for this game, the others must be there... If I want to be able to bring my lord Ambrosia back, maybe I should try to make them see things as I do..." - Mizuki starts walking towards the fortress.
The most dangerous game between good and evil is about to begin!
