Murasaki Hina, a 16 year old girl at Hyakkaou, thought of Yumeko Jabami. She grinned with delight. Murasaki licked her lips. Murasaki thought to herself. Oh Jabami, how I want to feed. Jabami would be delicious. Oh how scrumptious would your heart be, Jabami.
Murasaki was afraid of her dark thoughts. Murasaki often drank her own blood. Murasaki fantasized about capturing Yumeko and feeding on her. Murasaki, as the days went on, had more of an urge to feed on someone. Even her own blood did not satisfy her.
5 days later, Yumeko knocked on Murasaki's door. Murasaki's meal had arrived. Murasaki opened the door and let Yumeko in. 'Are you going to get the playing cards, now?' Yumeko asked. 'Of course, why wouldn't I?' Murasaki answered with another question.
Yumeko sat down on Murasaki's couch. 'You're a vampire, aren't you?' Yumeko questioned. Murasaki stood still. She knows. 'I drink my own blood to resemble the feeling of feeding...' Murasaki said with unease. Yumeko seemed unfazed 'Vampire's do not have blood. You're lying. If you really don't drink human blood. You need human blood. It's wierd how you're still alive when you're so low on human blood.' Yumeko told. So Jabami doesn't know everything...
Yumeko revealed her own fangs. 'Wait...If you do drink own blood then...you're half human, half vampire, aren't you? Am I right?' Yumeko put two and two together. Murasaki nodded with confusion. Jabami is a vampire... 'WHO HAVE YOU FED ON?' Murasaki screamed at the top of her lungs. 'I, too, am a hybrid. That's why I can stay in the sun. I drink my own blood too but, of course, since I am only half human, I don't have much.' Yumeko explained in a calm tone. 'I did want to eat you, the other week, so since then, I observed you. Now I know that you are a hybrid, I have a better idea.' Yumeko seemed so calm as she said that. 'I wanted to eat you too...' Murasaki confessed.
Yumeko laughed a cold, subtle laugh. Yumeko proposed an idea 'What if we drink people's blood, together? I'm sick of holding my urge to feed in. I've never met another hybrid before...so why don't we take a...gamble...and become friends?' Murasaki liked that idea a lot. 'That would be great!' Murasaki exclaimed. That was how Murasaki Hina and Yumeko Jabami became friends.
