Third-Person POV

Monaca stands up to address her associates, "Ms. Agatha, the Hoenn region of your world has some new freedom fighters in play. Monaca needs you to take these two out into the field and squash them, pretty please?"

The old woman smirks and bows her head, "I will, Lady Monaca, although I have to ask if these two are up to the task…"

Agatha turns to the mind-controlled Ponzu and Scott Lang.

Ponzu, The Queen Bee. Former participant of two Hunter Exams, unfortunately failing in both attempts. An expert in chemicals that she uses to trap opponents, and has the ability to summon dangerous bees from within her yellow beehive-like hat. Can also tap into the ability to use one's own life energy, Nen, utilizing the Manipulation type on her bees. For some reason she's ended up with Team Zetsubou somehow…

She was given quite an upgrade with bee-like wings and stinger gauntlets on her arms (that fire different kinds of chemicals), along with goggles shaped like the eyes of a bee that come with antennae. Her yellow beehive hat remains mostly the same, aside from having a slight honeycomb pattern.

Scott Lang/Ant-Man, The Reformed Thief. An honorary Avenger, Scott has helped save the day on multiple occasions thanks to the abilities of a suit given to him by Dr. Hank Pym. He can shrink to the size of an insect and grow to the size of a giant, while also having the ability to control a variety of different ants. It seems as though once again Scott has been taken away from his loved ones and thrusted into a crisis he could never imagine..

He sported the usual Ant-Man suit, although the helmet's eyes were blackened with a glowing red Monokuma eye on the left and a spray painted half smile around the mouth area.

Monaca smiles in reassurance, "Of course they are! Compared to the prototype used on that scruffy martial arts guy, the mind control can't be shut off by destroying the devices. However, you have to avoid letting them get knocked out."

"I assume it's because they'll wake up and regain their consciousness. Like recovering from a Ghost-type using Nightmare." Agatha looked the two of them over, tapping Scott on the helmet with her cane.

"Yuppers! So try to keep an eye on them, they're valuable assets compared to the Monokuma units." Monaca warns her.

"Hmph! Do not blame me if these two aren't good enough to handle our enemies, come along now you two!"

Agatha is lifted into the nearby projector screen portal by her Golbat, Ponzu and Scott joining her. Monaca turns around and exhales as she goes back to work on the computer.

"I've gotta remember to thank her for allowing us to study her little ghosties' powers for the mind control devices. Although this version fails, I'll put the blame on her! Now let's see… the next universe to conquer is… this one! A small quiet little mountain town… meh, I guess I'll send like one or two Monokuma units there. That'll for sure be an easy one, how boring…"

"Huff, huff, I think there's only a few left now!" Michiru panted, exhausted with how much she had been fighting.

"Yeah, just these big uglies left to go!" Sapphire pointed at the two Junk Monokumas crawling towards them.

Michiru grimaced after seeing their big bulging eyes and creepy smiles, "I really don't want to touch those things…"

"We've got no choice, so time for another Blaze Ki—"

A Slaking then appears and slams its fist into the ground, causing an Earthquake to rupture the Junk Monokumas before they even got close to them. Michiru immediately returned to her human form when she saw someone coming. A man with a red jacket and black hair stepped in from behind his Slaking.

"Norman!" Sapphire calls out to her potential father in law.

"Are you two alright? Also my apologies for stealing your thunder there, Sapphire." He greets them.

"Yeah we're fine, and that's… ok." She pouts for a second, "We just wanted to come see you for some help."

"Well, you kids come right in then." Norman walks into Petalburg Gym and ushers the two girls to follow.

"Hoo, I'm ready to rest after all of that…" Michiru sighs in relief.

"No kidding, I saw you do some crazy stuff during that fight!"

Sapphire and Michiru turn to see Masaomi approaching from behind.

"Y-You saw me transform?!" Michiru gasps.

Masaomi nods, "Yeah, when I was busy getting people to evacuate I saw you punch with that huge-ass fist! I kinda felt like you weren't a normal girl, heh."

Michiru rubs the back of her head embarrassed, "Thanks, I guess? But I really need to keep that a secret, okay? Who knows what could happen if I transform where a lot of humans can see me?"

"Oh, right. I'll try to remember that." Masaomi shrugs.

"Alrighty, let's go tell Norman everything now." Sapphire says as she walks into the gym.

"Other worlds, killer robots… and you say Ruby's gone missing?" Norman asks.

Sapphire sadly nods, "I tried calling him a buncha times, but it doesn't work! Who knows what happened to him…"

The jungle girl slumped down into her chair as her companions looked at her with sympathy.

"Yeah, I can understand why you'd be so worried. But after what Ruby has managed to accomplish, I doubt he'd be down for long. If anything, he's probably on his way to find you right now." Norman reassures her.

Meanwhile, in another universe…

"Achoo!" Ruby sneezes loudly before reaching into his pocket to pull out a hanky.

"Goddess bless you, or something." Linhardt stated.

"Have you caught a cold, Ruby?" Junko asks him.

He shakes his head, "I don't think so. But that did just come out of nowhere."

Linhardt sighs, "Whatever it is, I'll probably end up catching it too somehow…"

"Hope I don't catch this mysterious illness…" Junko shivers.

The three continue their trek up a large mountain range, spotting a glimpse of what appears to be a large territory ahead of them. After taking a few more steps to get a better view, they figure out that it looks to be a monastery.

Sapphire lightly blushes after hearing something like that about the guy she has a crush on, so she shakes her head to get refocused. Masaomi chuckles in amusement, while Michiru smiles with her eyes closed.

"Yer right, Norman! He is out there, and I'm gonna find him first before he finds me! And that'll count as a win over him too!"

"A win?" Masaomi looks at her in confusion.

"When me and Ruby first met each other in Hoenn, we made a bet lasting for 80 days that ended in a tie! So if I were to find out where he is before he can find me, then I get a win to make up for it!"

"I see… and you're sure that's not the only reason you're gonna be looking for him?" Masaomi smirks.

"Nothing else?" Michiru tries to hold in her giggles with her mouth.

Sapphire's starting to get flustered, "W-Well that and he's also a good friend, a strong Pokédex Holder, uh…"

Norman chuckles at the teasing, "Alright, alright. Let's get back to the matter at hand. I have a feeling that we need all the help we could get with this army. I'll try to contact the other gym leaders, as well as Champion Wallace and Steven Stone to see if they can help out."

"Good idea! With that many strong trainers, those stupid bears won't stand a chance!" Sapphire pumps her fist up in the air.

"I feel like it won't be that easy though, especially with the types of bears that we saw out there." Michiru gives some doubt on the plan.

Masaomi agrees, "Yup, you've gotta imagine that the bad guys have got something big up their sleeves, just in case."

"I've sent the message out, hopefully we'll get something soon." Norman informs the trio before his Holo Caster goes off.

"That was fast, who's that? She's kinda cute…" Masaomi asks.

"Flannery, did you get my message?" Norman asks the Fire-Type Gym Leader who called him.

Her Hologram displaying her with some light scratches and some debris on her fiery red hair.

"I did… but the enemy has actually already arrived here at Lavaridge! Things are getting heated, and not in the way I like it at all!"

"WHAT?!" The young trio react in shock.

"Just what kind of foes are you up against?" Norman asks so that they know who they're up against.

"Just these terrifying black and white Spinda robots! And there's these two people commanding them, dressed up like Bug-types! Oh, and a few Ghost and Poison Pokémon running amok too!" Flannery warns them.

"Bug people?" Michiru tilts her head with confusion.

Right as she questions that however, Flannery dodges a stinger shot which then expels sleeping gas into the room she was in. Flannery falls unconscious as she is then picked up by two individuals with glowing red eyes and carried outside.

Masaomi's eyebrows lowered, "They definitely don't look friendly, we should probably go help her!"

"Ya don't gotta tell me, Flannery's a friend of mine! We're leaving now!" Sapphire drags her companions out the gym door and lets out Troppy.

"Good luck you three, I'll be awaiting responses from the elite trainers I messaged. Don't be too reckless out there, okay?" Norman tells them before they depart.

"Yes sir!" Michiru waves goodbye.

"You got it!" Masaomi gives a two-fingered salute to him.

Norman nods before turning to the fanged girl, "And Sapphire?"

"Yeah?"

"Bring my son home."

Both of Sapphire's eyebrows were raised at his request, but she gave him a determined grin.

"You betcha." She answers as he makes his way back into Petalburg Gym.

Troppy takes to the skies above the city as the evacuated citizens attempt to clean up the damage caused by the Monokuma attacks. The three young companions feel terrible about leaving Petalburg the way it is without assisting in its reconstruction, but another city in Hoenn is in danger, so they must make haste to Lavaridge Town.

"General Agatha! We have subdued the Gym Leader of this town."

The Ant-Man tells his commander while carrying Flannery in his arms. Agatha smiles in response… before striking Scott with her cane in the gut.

"Tch, fool. You're meaning to tell me that you chose not to eliminate her? She's just another stupid individual who believes in a world where people and Pokémon can share their lives with one another. Her sacrifice is better to our cause, than keeping her alive. Do you understand Mr. Lang?"

"Agh… but…" Scott groans in pain.

Ponzu grits her teeth at the display, especially since it was her plan to knock out Flannery with her sleeping gas, rather than her more deadly chemicals or even her bees.

"No buts, just follow my orders next time, or you'll suffer the same fate as she is about to endure. Now then, I'll just bring respect to our organization's name by dragging her down into despair…"

Her Gengar appears from her shadow, both it and the wicked woman cackling at what they had planned. The Gengar casted a shadowy Hex upon Flannery, causing a frightening nightmare that made her shift back and forth with fear.

The two bug-themed minions merely watched, with some light sweat dripping down their faces. It seems as though, unlike Yamcha before them, their personalities are contrasting with the dark thoughts plaguing their minds.

"I assume the so-called 'heroes' who stopped the Petalburg invasion are on their way here to stomp this one out. Would you care to hinder their progress before they get here, dearies?"

"Yes, General Agatha." The two of them say in response.

Agatha smirked evilly, "Good… Beast Monokumas standby, Guard Monokumas set up a barrier around the town. Let's give them a warm welcome into our little game."

"Let me get this straight, there was this pirate guy who wanted to spread more of the ocean with a giant whale…" Masaomi raises an eyebrow at Sapphire's story.

"... And another guy with red hair wanted to spread more of the land with a red lizard dragon?" Michiru questioned.

"It's all true! Don't really get those guys either, but we stopped them anyway! Ah, look there!"

Sapphire points out a small town with some hot springs within it, Lavaridge Town. The group lands on a small mountain overlooking the perimeter.

"Jeez, that's a lot of robot bears down there! Wish I had a weapon on me…" Masaomi's eyebrows lowered in anticipation.

Michiru shifted back into Beastman form, "I can protect you then! Maybe you can rescue that Flannery girl, while me and Sapphire take care of them. How does that sound?"

"Fine by me, let's go already!" Sapphire stretches as she returns Troppy to his Pokéball.

"Halt, you… teenagers? Uh, surrender now or we'll use deadly force!"

A voice of a middle-aged man rings out behind them and they turn to see a man in almost a motorcycle suit and a woman with a large yellow hat and with turquoise hair. The former is trying to pose intimidatingly, while the woman stands there stoically.

"Wait, these are the bug people we're supposed to be afraid of?" Masaomi stares exasperatedly.

"Don't underestimate both me and my partner! I am Agent A, and she's Agent… Bee. Get it?" The man jokes.

"Da heck?" Sapphire looks at them blankly.

"Together, we are the Astonishing Insects, prepare to be squashed!"

"Astonishingly Idiotic is more like it." Michiru rolled her eyes.

Masaomi closes his eyes in annoyance, "Look buddy, you're looking pretty lame. Can we please skip with the theatrics and just—"

When he opens his eyes however, the man has vanished. Masaomi then gets a punch to the jaw out of nowhere.

"What the hell?!" He rubs his chin in pain.

The woman then takes flight and launches a few stinger-like projectiles at the teens, which they barely manage to dodge.

"Stay on the ground and fight fair ya coward!" Sapphire tells her.

Mhichiru is then flipped on her back by seemingly nothing, "Ack, hey!".

The man then reappears, growing back to his normal size.

"You should have sized us up more, 'cause size does matter around here kiddos."

These chapters are definitely coming out a lot slower, eh? Well I did say that they weren't going to be as frequent as before, but it feels like forever since I uploaded the last one in JUNE. I hope you guys are enjoying this other group of Guardians, if not it's gonna be a while until we see the previous members so bear with me. Speaking of Guardians, I have a special (and possibly extremely crazy) announcement. If you had noticed if you were reading this on AO3 (sorry if you're not reading it there), the image showing off the upcoming hidden Guardians has increased by two. That's right, 16 Guardians in total! The two I added were characters from the same place, but regardless it's absolutely insane. I'm gonna have to balance the same amount of characters in a normal killing game, in an Ultra Despair Girls-type story. AND NONE OF THEM ARE DYING TOO. Villain roster stays the same though (maybe). I feel like this would be a very fun adventure game or RPG. I might be biting off more than I can chew here, but I'm gonna do it anyways, because why not? There's also something else that will happen once all our Guardians are together… Support Conversations. If you've played or seen stuff from Fire Emblem, you'd know what they are. Anyways, see you guys in the next chapter and in Epicenter as well! - Renegade Braveheart
