Miles Speaking...

I noticed SpiderNG alone in the conference room when we got back, we had left him and Spider OC back at the base, deciding it was better to go with more spiders in case we ran into Morlun or Nerve Spider.

"Where is he?" Spider 2099 asked almost darkly. Christopher turned and gave a nervous chuckle.

"Uh, he went out?"

"Out?" repeated Spider 2099

Spider NG sighed, "He went back to the home world of Morlun.

"What!?" Peter B said.

Miles walked up closer to Spider NG,

"what do you mean he went back? That's suicide." I said.

"Yeah, I for one would have said good riddance." Spider B spoke, "but He doesn't exactly have a chance against this Morlun character, or that Nerve Spider guy."

"What do you mean?" asked Spider NG to Peter B "I mean about the Nerve Spider guy, did you learn anything from his home?"

It was Spider 2099 that replied. "Well let's see now shall we, he seems to have a missing daughter which I believe might be connected to why he is working for Morlun in the first place and Oh yes lest I forget, as we suspected Lyla learnt from the data bases and information available on his earth that he does posses some puppet like powers with the use of his web, his web attaches itself to the nervous system of another and..."

"Controls them." I finished, "He would be in trouble where he is, he might need our help, we have to go and get him."

"Yes, but I doubt he'll come back unless he is has learnt what he wanted to." Spider NG said.

"You said he wanted to learn more about the inheritors right?" Spider 2099 asked.

"Yes." Spider NG said.

Spider 2099 sighed, I wondered what he was thinking, he knew he wouldn't want us going off to go and get him but we needed to else that arrogant webface didn't have a chance if Morlun or the Nerve Spider found him, or both. I was about to protest and explain why we should when Spider2099 spoke.

"Go."

"huh?"

"What?" Gwen said.

Spider2099 turned to me and Spider NG, "Both of you go, back him up, but if you spot Morlun or the Nerve Spider, you all return immediately, understood?"

"wait, in that case I'm coming too." Gwen said.

"No wait, you can't just send a bunch of kids to go into the Lion's den, that's suicide."

"Uhh my mum told me that one of my uncles named me Daniel, so I guess it's ok" Spider NG said.

I and the others looked at him like what??

"Shutting up."

"Look, I need you both here to work on a plan, also there are some things you must know." Spider 2099 responded. I raised an eyebrow at this.

"Uhh, What things?" I asked,

"something else you know that we don't?"

"Just go spider man, I'd explain more when you all get back"

"No you can't just allow them..." Gwen started to say.

"Gwen,.." I said softly "It's ok, we can do this, and Spider 2099 is right, we can' risk many going, we don't know what Morlun has in his home world that could harm all of us."

"But that's why I must go with you..." Gwen started to say.

"I know." Then I walked closer to her "But we'd be ok, I promise."

"You can't just make promises like that Miles." Gwen said "I just don't want to loose..." she paused, I understood what this was about, Gwen in the past had lost a very close friend, Peter Parker in her universe, and seeing me put myself in extreme danger made her not to want to feel that loss again, but I also didn't want to see her in harm's way, so I had to leave without her.

"We'll be ok Gwen and thanks."

"For what?" she said a bit confused.

"Hate to interrupt this lovely session but time is a wasting." Spider NG pointed out.

"Ok, let's go." I agreed.

"Sure you'll be ok kid?" Peter B asked.

"Yeah, we'll be thanks."

"Be safe Miles." a voice said to me that almost startled him, she had been so quiet as always that I almost forgot she had been in the room, I turned to see Peni standing very close to me now.

"I will Peni, thanks." I said "be safe too" I added and she nodded. Then I straightened up with a look of determination and a slight smile on my face as I looked at Spider NG.

"Ok, let's do this."

Spider Oc stood in a hall on earth 001 observing and documenting the hieroglyphics on the walls scanning them with his watch. He had not spotted any sign of Morlun and his underling spider yet which was good for him though he felt he could at least take on the Nerve Spider if he ever showed up. This world was filled with Inheritor loyalists and worshippers who saw the Inheritors as gods or something, and these walls told a story of how this place came to be, how the inheritors conquered worlds and made many from those worlds their subjects here, it also told him the reason the inheritors hunted spiders, but where were the others? In that moment he heard something behind him, Spider Oc turned to see a portal had opened behind him, he sighed annoyingly, he knew the spiders wouldn't leave him alone to do his job but better still he needed the allies now in case something happened. I was the first person to step out followed by Spider NG.

"Mehn what are you doing here?" I complained, the portal shuts behind us.

"I'm touched, they send two brats to save me." Spider Oc says and turns back to what he was doing

"Come on Pete..." I was about to say, Spider Oc pauses at this hearing the name. I stop, "that's if you are a peter, we have to get out of here before they notice us."

"Too late." Spider oc said as he turned to look behind us.

I and Spider NG's spider senses instantly tingle and we look back. Behind stood one of the deadliest spider man with a blade... The Ninja Spider, and behind him was the another... the Nerve Spider, and he spoke.

"Heard you had been to my home, I'm so sorry I wasn't there to serve you tea."

"This is not what I expected just few minutes arriving here." Spider NG said

"We three can take them." I said.

"Although I would like to see you fumble at your naivety I must warn you..." Spider Oc said walking forward from behind them. "That one is not easy to deal with." He said referring to the Ninja Spider.

"So, we run?" I asked

"Yes." Spider Oc said so noblely.

"Seems like a plan." I said as we turn and web away from the scene but the other two pursue.

An Hour later*

Spider NG was barely conscious as he watched the room burn before him, he was too weak to move and aware that he needed to get out soon. that's when he heard muffled noises, voices, he hoped they would find him buried underneath the two piled tables that hid him from that attacker when he came. A figure appeared, black and red web lines was all he could see. It was me

"Who is...?" he thought.

I spoke again, my muffled voice becoming a sudden clear shout of Christopher's spider nick name

"Spider NG!! Spider NG!!!!!...
