Audrey was on cloud nine.

Everything was finally going according to plan. She had faked a few tears, started a small lie and now Queen Belle was eating out of the palm of her hand. Brushing her curls back one more time, Audrey settled her brush on her vanity as she looked at herself.

"Perfection as usual."

She looked exactly like the future Queen, she was meant to be.

Yes, she and Ben did break up after the villains arrived from the Isle. Yes, she knew she was not pregnant despite her attempts (Ben was always so cautious). Yes, she knew Ben was probably seeing someone else especially seeing as the boy couldn't lie for his life. Yes, she knew this could all go bad at any moment but that didn't matter now.

Why because Audrey Rose was finally getting everything she deserved and some.

"Come along now." Queen Belle didn't say anything else as the three men followed her into the hallway until they reached the King's private office. Standing in front of the door Belle slowly opened it, "Right now I need to talk to Carlos, alone."

"No."

"Benjamin Florian you-"

"No. I am so sick and tired of everyone having conversations without me especially if they're about me. Carlos is my boyfriend and yet I haven't been able to have a single moment with him since all of this started. So whatever needs to be said to him will be said to me too." Ben demanded. Carlos went to open his mouth but a look from Queen Belle stopped him as she nodded.

"Well then let's start." Closing the door behind her Belle made herself comfortable sitting behind the desk.

"All of you sit down."

"Mom-" "Honey-"

"I said sit down."

Taking a deep breath Belle turned towards little Carlos. The boy sat quietly holding his hands in his lap as he stared down at his shoes trying to avoid Belle's eye contact. "Carlos, I need to know, do you love my son?"

Carlos froze at the sudden question. Slowly he lifted his head finding Ben's hand in his own as he stared down at them "I do, I really do."

"So why did you leave?"

"I was scared. Ben and I at the time have been dating in secret for months and I thought it would be the best option to stay secret. I mean Auradon Prep is a good school but not really ideal for a villain's kid to be seen dating a prince, especially one as high as Ben. I didn't wanna cause any more issues, people are still getting used to us just being here. I guess I never took into consideration how badly it would affect my mental state especially with how much I grew to love Ben. However sometimes love makes you irrational and when I got too far into my head I thought about all the negative aspects instead of seeing the positive so I ran."

"What's stopping you from running again?"

"I love Ben and I plan on staying with him as long as he'll have me-" "Forever." "because I deserve to be happy and Ben makes me happy."

Queen Belle stared further at Carlos before nodding. "I'm glad because I've seen my son shine like he does with you. Now that's out of the way we need to address the biggest issue."

"Which is?"

"First Ben text Chad and invite him and Jay along with the rest of the Charmings to dinner this Friday."

"Yes ma'am but why?"

"Because Audrey is planning to tell everyone she's pregnant."

Jay never felt more at ease as he ran his fingers through Chad's hair as the boy slept against his chest. He did note that Mr. Charming had left the room letting them rest.

"Go back to sleep."

"You go back to sleep." Jay muttered. Chad grumbled something else against his chest before turning his head and falling back into a sleep. Jay just settled further into the bed looking at the ceiling. Just as Jay felt his eyes stare to fall his eyes start to relax Chad's phone pinged from a text message. Grabbing the phone Jay typed in the password to find a text message from Ben.

"Chad."

"Mhm?"

"Ben is inviting us to dinner friday."

"Okay."

Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.

"Mal, if you tap your shoes one more time I will scream."

"Where are they? The lady said the whole royal family is in but not available, come on."

"They're probably having a private moment or something." Lonnie added quickly. She might not have known Mal long but she could see the telltale signs of the anger brewing underneath the girl's skin.

"When's the last time any of us have seen Jay or Carlos?" Jane asked carefully. "I know the Florians and they never held a royal family meeting officially unless something went wrong."

Mal paused her pacing. Glancing around, Mal's eyes lit up with the familiar neon green as she spoke " Secrets held and secrets true stop those seeking from listening too. Okay, continue."

"What was that?" Lonnie asked. She glanced around to notice that all the servants moving around seemed to be bypassing them like they were standing in silence even the ones from earlier who seemed to be listening were walking away.

"A spell to keep whatever we said between us. Now Jane, what are you talking about?"

"I haven't seen Jay or Carlos since a few days ago but Chad went to visit his parents last week. He hasn't come back yet."

"You think Jay is with Chad and Carlos is with Ben."

"That makes sense."

"How?"

Lonnie sighed, "When I last saw Chad. We had a fight and he went off on me, I needed the wake up call. He particularly told me he loves Jay and he was done hiding it so knowing Chad as well as I know him. He's probably talking to his parents about it, maybe even introducing Jay once and for all."

Jane sent Mal a look in which the purple headed girl shook her head no. Another glare and a deep sigh later Lonnie jumped as she found herself wrapped into a tight hug (and a head patting from Mal) by Jane. Pulling back slightly Jane gave Lonnie a smile, "It hurts right now. I know it does but it will get better. Not today or next month but one day. You are Li Lonnie, one of the best people I know and that's surprisingly short."

"Yeah what she said."

"Mal." Jane hissed.

Mal sighed deeply again, "Lonnie you are a good person so cheer up."

"Thanks I gu-wait isn't that Doug and Al."

Mal and Jane turned around to find Doug waving his arms as he rushed towards them with Al; following behind at a slow pace.

" Friends here, friends there allow my secrets to share. Doug?"

"How dare you!" Doug screamed. Mal jaw dropped as Jane had to jump between Doug and Lonnie as the smaller boy almost launched himself at the girl. Al having realized Doug's attack had jogged quick enough to grab his partner up by his waist holding him away. "Doug. We talked about this."

"Heck no let me go! Mal curse her."

"What?"

"Lonnie is involved in whatever scheme Evie and Audrey are planning to hurt Jay and Carlos!"

"You have so much to catch up on."

"She did what!"

Evie slowly pulled her hand from her ear as she glared at Audrey who immediately took a step back from the daughter of the evil queen. "Do not yell in my ear again. Lonnie is just Mal and Jane looking for Queen Belle."

"That fucking rat. I knew I should have never expected from that sad excuse of fucking royalty. God, her mother was a fucking freak fighting as a man anyway and her freakish father fell in love with that."

"So what's the new plan? If they get to Belle to believe them we're screwed."

"They won't because I've already talked to Queen Belle and she's on my side. Besides, if anything she'll think Lonnie has been influenced by Mal's powers just like Ben. We'll go with our plan and I'll have a little talk with Lonnie and I can just guarantee she will see the error of her ways."

"Are you stupid? Lonnie with them so they know the plan and how are you going to get her alone in the first place." Evie demanded as she stared down the princess. Audrey fought back the urge to wrap her pretty hands around Evie's neck instead she took a deep breath sitting down onto her ottoman. "What do you propose then?"

"Let's abandon the plan."

"No. We'll just change tactics. Give me some time and I'll figure it out but for now stay low. Now leave my room." with those words Audrey grabbed her phone and went to ignore Evie.

"Whatever." 'What a fucking idiot' was all Evie could think as she left.
