Audrey waved off another one of her maids as she double checked her hair for the third time to make sure that every curl was perfect. She needed to look the future Queen she was going to be and everything needed to be perfect or someone was going to pay.
"Miss Audrey, the dresses have arrived." one of the ladies waiting in the background announced gently.
Audrey's eyes raised up as she glared at the woman through the mirror, "Well then go get them. I mean seriously, why are you still standing here looking at me when my dresses are here. I swear what would people do without me." The girl complained as she watched the lady rush to grab the dresses. Turning back to stare at herself in the mirror, "I deserve everything and I'm finally going to get everything I deserve."

"Thank you." Jay muttered to the man who opened the door letting himself inside.
Pausing Jay closed his mouth to listen better to the voice speaking. "Mhm next one. No, no arctic blue clashes with Chad's skin; it makes him look pale. Now I would love the navy one but Henri hates navy blue and says it makes his eyes look dull. He looks amazing in it but you can't ever win with him. Next, absolutely not, eww just straight ew. Wait, this is sky blue. Mhmh would look amazing especially with Jay's skin tone perfect. Yes, this one." Following the sound of Cinderella, Jay poked his head into the first room to find Cinderella and a few others standing around a bunch of suits laid out onto the table.
"Don't go in there if you value your life."
"Don't do that." Jay hissed but Chad only smiled, ignoring the slight sting in his arm from Jay's punch. Gathering his partner into his arms, Chad tugged Jay away from the kitchen into the living room when his father was already sitting watching some tv.
"Afternoon Jay." Henri called out glancing up to see Jay.
"What's going on?"
"Aunt Belle is planning something, and mom wants to make sure we look amazing when all shut hits the fan."
"Chad."
"Sorry but it's true."
"Boys! It's time to get ready!"
"Let's hope Audrey does make too much of a scene. Last time Ben made her mad at lunch she threw the soup of the day, and it stained my favorite jacket. Mom wanted to scream because she could never get the stain out." Chad muttered he shivered as he remembered the look on his mother's face when he brought that jacket home that day.
Jay felt himself tense up. Pausing he made sure to smile at Henri as he passed them before he reached out grabbing Chad's hand before he followed his father.
"Mon trésor?" (My treasure)
"I thought this was a normal dinner with Ben's family? Why didn't you tell me Audrey was coming?"
"Because you won't want to come."
"Of course, I don't! If Audrey attends, she's probably going-" Jay's words fell off as Chad stepped closer grabbing his hands. "Chad?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes."
"Then trust that I have your best interest in heart."
Jay stared at Chad's face for a moment searching his eyes before he nodded. "Okay."
"Now let's go before mom comes and finds us."
Jay laughed, pausing as he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, "Wait. Carlos said text Al and tell him to bring everyone to dinner."
"Okay."
"Boys it's time to get dressed!"

Doug took a deep breath as he rubbed his temples, relaxing as Al rubbed calming circles into his back. "So, you're telling me Evie started all this because she feels like she deserves to marry a prince."
"Yes."
"And you went along with it because you felt that Chad and Ben were under a spell. Even though you knew Chad only dated you because everyone was pressuring him on top of you knew he didn't genuinely even like you. Along with knowing that Ben and Audrey broke up months ago. Did I get everything?" Doug asked.
Mal was hiding her face behind Jane's shoulder, but it was easy to see the girls' shoulders shaking with laughter. Jane was trying to keep her face straight, but she refused to look at Doug while Lonnie had some decency to look embarrassed with everything being stated now.
"It's a little more complicated than that."
"No, it's not. Let me tell you what it really is. You and Audrey were acting like a bunch of stupid spoiled fucking children whose favorite toys taken away all because some girl you don't even like tells you something that you would have known if you opened your fucking eyes to your surroundings! You let someone you don't know influence you enough to not only mess with Ben and Chad's relationships but also mine! You are so lucky I'm the son of Dopey because if I was the son of Grumpy, I would choke you out right now."
"We can always call your cousins Gordon and Crappy. Hell, we can call Derek." Al muttered knowing the sons of Grumpy had a soft spot for their little cousin and Doug's older brother was always ready to fight for his brother. Doug ignored Al as he continued to stare down Lonnie who was now glaring right back at the boy.
"You don't want to start something with me Doug."
"You know what, forget it I just might choke you out myself." Doug hissed, taking a step forward only for Al to grab him. Jane reached out grabbing Lonnie while Mal finally pulled herself together moving to get in between the two.
"Okay save the fight for later right now and deal with the issue at hand. We need to talk to the Queen and King immediately." Mal announced sending both Doug and Lonnie looks until they both nodded along.
"We might not have to find them. Chad just texted me that we're all invited to dinner, he even included Lonnie." Al stated as he glanced down at his phone.
"Okay then let's go."
"Wait." Everyone paused at Mal's voice turning to find the daughter of Maleficent standing there with a thinking face. For a moment her eyes turned green as she seemed to be looking into something far away. "We forget something."
"What?"
"Evie."
"Evie? Evie is not going to be a problem. Audrey is the one behind most of everything." Jane tried to provide comfort to Mal, but the girl waved her off. "Jane, I know Evie better than anyone and she is one of the most vindictive girls I have ever met. Evie will do anything to cover her back and she's going to try to get herself out of this situation especially if it means letting Audrey take the fall for everything. She's going to find a way to talk to Queen Belle before us."
"So, let's bring her to dinner."
All the girls turned to Lonnie. "Sun Tzu once said strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat. Al do you still have Tarik on speed dial?"
"Yeah?"
"Tell him he's invited to dinner and make sure his plus is Evie."

Evie was many things, but blind was far from them.
She knew Audrey was losing control of the situation and with Lonnie abandoning the sinking ship she needed to do the same. Besides, if she played her cards right all the drama for the last few months could fall back onto Audrey leaving her free from it all. The only issue was her former friends especially Carlos who always had a certain evil streak for those who disrespect those he loved so she needed a plan to deal with that also.
Sighing, Evie made sure to straighten out her outfit yet again glancing over the one more time before heading out of her room. "I need to talk to Belle before Audrey." Evie muttered as she walked down the hallway ignoring those who spoke or even waved at her.
"Yes ma'am. No ma'am. Momma you don't have to give me anything to bring. Alhaadi said the Auntie Belle just wanted to have a normal dinner to catch up with all of us, especially with us getting so close to graduation. Yes ma'am, okay bye. I love you papa too."
Turning her head slightly Evie found herself staring at the boy she found earlier this week in pursuit to find Lonnie. Her ear perked up as she caught the tail end of the conversation, taking a deep breath Evie pinched herself making sure she had some tears slide down her face before making her way back.
"What am I going to do? What if they send me back to the Isle? What am I supposed to do?" Evie made sure to make herself look so small and scared as she shuffled closer enough but not close enough to be suspicious.
"Ivy?"
Evie felt her eyebrow twitch, "It's Evie." she said softly as she wiped her face quickly but not quick enough to ignore that she was crying.
"Sorry. Are you okay?"
"No, not really. I did a favor for someone, and she did something horrible. I don't want to be viewed as an accomplice especially since I've been doing so good here at Auradon Prep. If only I could have a way to talk to the Queen and King before the other person does."
"Well, I mean I'm eating dinner tonight with the Florians if you want to tag along."
"Really? That would be amazing if I could."
"Yeah sure."
"I'm so sorry that I'm interrupting your dinner. If there is any way I can make it up to you, do not hesitate to ask."
"Trust me it's no problem at all." Tarik smiled ignoring the way Evie tried to reach out and touch his hand. "As a matter of fact, I think you are going to love dinner."

"She a fucking liar. Audrey-" "Ben!" "-is a bold face fucking liar. I have not touched her in about a year and some months. Mom you can't possible-"
"Do I look stupid Benjamin?" Belle demanded cutting off her son's rant. Sighing Belle leaned back in the chair sending Adam a smile as he came to rub her shoulders trying to provide comfort. "I have known Audrey since she was a baby and I have watched that girl grow into the woman she is today. Now, at some point I might have turned a blind eye to some of her missteps, but I do know Audrey at the end of the day. She will do anything to ensure her future even if it means destroying everyone else's."
Carlos seemed to pause for a moment, "That's true she planned it out perfectly. Announcing a pregnancy at dinner in front of the King and Queen making herself the victim catching everyone off guard especially Ben who would have been paused in the moment almost making himself look guilty. Of course, you two would have no choice but to think your responsible son has essentially ruined her life resulting in tying them together resulting in marriage to save face, of course. Knowing Audrey will try to say she doesn't want to tell Ben outright because he's been around the isle children who might be influencing him especially Mal with her power. She had all planned out, even probably to fake a miscarriage or get pregnant once she can force Ben alone with her. And Ben being heartbroken because I would have gone back to the isle, he would have craved and became the perfect man Audrey planned on having from the beginning. It would be ideal making it look like the 'it' couple were back and better than ever. Smart girl."
"Exactly what I was thinking so I invited her to dinner. Audrey is expecting to see me and my family however I have been getting different sides of this story from other people, so I thought why not let it all be handled at dinner."
"Which is why you wanted me to invite Chad and his family because Jay will be coming with them." Ben added. His inner beast had calmed down drastically once he saw that Carlos didn't believe the pregnancy allowing him to fully focus now. He could see the plan that Audrey had now written in neon lights.
"So, we just have dinner?" Adam asked carefully.
Belle looked at Carlos who had a certain glint in his eyes, "Queen Belle do you mind if we make a few more additions to dinner? It's only fair we allow everyone involved to speak."
"Call me Belle and of course more than merrier."
"Ben tell Chad to invite everyone including Lonnie. We won't want anyone to miss out."

Audrey didn't bother saying anything, throwing her jacket at the man at the door as he made her way down the hall to the dining room.
"Excuse me!"
Audrey paused, turning back slightly to find the man who was supposed to be putting her jacket away rushing towards her. "What?"
"The Florians are expecting you in the formal dining room."
"Why didn't you say that from the beginning? Are you trying to embarrass me?"
"No. You just-". "You know what never mind. I'm going to be the future Queen soon and when I am you will be gone back to the pathetic hole you crawled out of so enjoy this for now." Audrey hissed shoving past the man making her way to the formal dining room now. As she grew closer she made sure to calm down her stride. Picking one of her perfect curls to rest on her face and against her dainty shoulder before moving the rest back. Taking a deep breath, Audrey made sure to smile brightly as she walked around the corner into the open room.
"Auntie I-" the words fell quiet as Audrey came face to face with Carlos De Vil.
"Hello Audrey. I'm glad you could make it."
