Hello world, I'm BACK! Hopefully for longer than a chapter or two...
This is a new project that I've been working on since I began replaying KOTOR and re-watching Stargate: Atlantis. I know I have other, older projects, currently unfinished and I can only apologise for that. It's been a crazy few years for all of us. I genuinely hope you enjoy this, it's going to be a slow burning project, because I really want to flesh it out and add depth to the characters while also creating a whole new canon verse.
Please feel free to review and follow this story.
Thank you for your time,
Spearhead.

Olus Jacus was the new name given to him by the Republic. Ira Qel-Droma was the name given to him by his parents. But Revan was the name given to him by the masses. Whether it had the Sith prefix of Darth or the Mandalorian title of The Slaughterer following, that was the name he had become accustomed too.
But none of his past deeds defined him, yet they all did. While he was once the man who led Jedi against the Mandalorian Crusaders, he was now a shadow. While he was once the Jedi who had turned on the Order and the Republic he had sworn to defend, he was now an imitation. It was as if he was staring at himself in a cracked mirror. His memories of these events were present, but it was as if they didn't belong to him. Almost as if they placed there, blurry to his recollection.
But now, in this moment, he knew what he was and what he had to do. Ever since he'd been released from his imprisonment, Revan had chosen a path and was adamant that he was going to walk it.
Which is why a strike team of four Sith now battled him on the Foundry's observation deck. Two human Assassins, a pure blood Sith Marauder and a Cathar Juggernaut. Revan couldn't help but smirk beneath his mask as he parried several slashes from the Marauder. It figured the Empire would send such blunt tools to eliminate the threat he posed.
Revan pushed with the force, sending the Marauder flying backwards, helplessly crashing to the floor. The Juggernaut charged at him, rage roaring from his lungs as he swung downwards at the smaller man.
Revan rose his purple blade to meet the red one, the resistance creating a low screech. Revan used the locking blades to push the Juggernaut to the right, opening up a weakness that the Jedi exploited, slashing at the Sith warriors back.
The limp body dropped to the floor and Revan pulled the dead man's lightsaber into his free hand, igniting it immediately.
His three remaining opponents stood together across the platform, snarling at him. Revan simply crossed the red and purple blade before moving his body into a defensive posture, ready for their attack.
One of the Assassins launched lightening at Revan, easily blocked by the red lightsaber, while the other attempted to use the force to manipulate the man's mind. Luckily to no avail.
While Revan was engaged, the Marauder leapt into the air, bringing his blades down into a vicious chop that could've cut Revan into three, had the Jedi not side stepped. The Marauder rose to his feet and pressed the attack, angrily swiping his blades back and forth in an attempt to hit his opponent. But Revan blocked each swipe with his purple blade as he continued to use his red as a shield from the lightening being continuously hurled at him.
The force warned Revan of an urgent attack, his head whipping around just in time to see the other Assassin launching a passing asteroid towards him.
With all of his might, Revan jumped out of its path at the last second, causing the large rock to slam into the Marauder, crushing him under its weight.
Revan landed in a crouched pose and reactivated his two blades, ready to continue the battle. But as he prepared to enter his defensive posture once again, another salvo of lightening crackled through the air towards him.
This time, the easily blocked attack was immediately accompanied by another asteroid. Without a second thought, Revan reached out with the force and knocked the object aside only to find one of the Assassins waiting for him, thrusting her blade forward like a spear.
The surprise attack was successful, the red blade pushing into his right side, just above his hip. Revan gasped in agony, but composed himself in seconds, bringing his own lightsabers to bare.
The Assassin pulled her weapon away and blocked the sideswipe of Revan's first blade, quickly spinning the double-bladed lightsaber and blocking the similar assault from the other direction.
As Revan span on the spot, to bring his right-handed saber around for a slash at the Sith, he noticed the woman jumping away. But it wasn't to dodge the attack, it was because another asteroid had been launched at the fighting pair.
It was too late for Revan to leap to safety, so instead he drew the force into himself and slingshot the boulder around his body and flung it back at the Sith that had sent it, only faster. This had caught the male attacker completely off guard, as he focused his effort to push the asteroid back towards Revan, the Jedi took the opportunity to cross the platform with his speed enhanced by the force and prepared a new attack.
When the massive chunk of rock stopped in its tracks, the Assassin pushed with a grunt and sent it back on its original path to where his Jedi opponent had been standing mere seconds ago.
This is when Revan jumped over the asteroid and bought his lightsabers down towards the Sith's head as he landed. The surprise attack would have been successful, if only the Assassin hadn't reached up and pushed with the force, catching the blades mere centre-meters from his face.
Revan readjusted his stance, flipping both sabers in his hand, the blades facing behind him as he readied himself, a unique stance for those trained in lightsaber combat. The Sith pulled his singular lightsaber from his belt and a red blade sprung from the hilt, a growl fighting its way past his gritted teeth.
The Sith ran at the Jedi Master, throwing several vicious attacks, easily dodged or intercepted by Revan. As they traded blows, the other Assassin approached, having pulled the force around herself to make her body invisible. When she was within feet of the Jedi, the female human allowed the force to disperse, revealing herself to her intended victim.
But Revan expected it as he bought his red blade around and caught the attack meant to chop him in half while at the same time locking the other assassin in a similar blade cross. None of them could move their weapons, the sabers locked into each other, screeching in complaint.
Unknown to the two, Revan had reached out with his own force powers and changed the trajectory of several asteroids. Their new path carried them towards the trio of force users. They would crush anything that came into contact with them, so Revan had an escape. Just as the Jedi was about to leap to safety, everything around him froze. The blades no longer whined in defiance. The asteroids passing the observation deck were still. The warped faces of hate the two Sith sported were unmoving and unchanging.
"What is this?" Revan asked puzzled, stepping out from between his enemies. As he did so, he noticed his body was still in place. Somehow his mind or spirit or force entity had been separated from it, causing even more confusion to course through his mind.
"Hello, Revan." A familiar voice said from behind him. He turned slowly to find his wife, Bastilla Shan stood before him.
Her brown hair was platted behind her, her fair skin was as smooth as he remembered, and her eyes were as amazingly grey as ever.
"Bastilla? But, how?" Revan asked completely confused. There was no indication from the Jedi records that his wife had become one with the force, at least, not in the files he had been permitted to access.
"I cannot tell you, my love. I'm sorry. All I can say is that I am here for you. A group of the others sent me to alter your destiny and to undo one of their mistakes." Bastilla said bluntly, her tone as serious as ever.
"The others? You mean those who are one with the force?" Revan asked, stepping towards her.
"There are many paths to reach what I have become." Bastilla said cryptically, obviously not able to answer. But noticing her husband who had endured so much, taking another step towards her.
"I'm sorry I left." He said, his throat suddenly like razors, tightening around his words.
"I know. I didn't know why then, but since, knowledge and understanding has gifted me the answers. I'm only sorry I couldn't go with you." Bastilla nodded, a gentle smile curling her lips.
"I shouldn't have left." Revan managed, reaching her with another step and bringing her into his arms.
"You had to go. The force willed it. The others willed it. There was no altering your path." Bastilla said as she returned the man's embrace, savouring his touch after so many centuries.
"But now it's acceptable to change my destiny? And the destiny of others?" Revan asked, still holding her, unwilling to let go.
"Circumstances warrant intervention." Bastilla answered, again cryptically.
"Bastilla." Revan said, justifiably annoyed.
"I can't say much, or I run the risk of being discovered." Bastilla defended.
"I need something, anything." He said, frustrated.
"The others like me, they have rules. Non-interference is one of them. We are not to use our powers to interact or change events on this level of existence. To do so is a crime of the highest order. Those that sent me, that are helping me, are stretching this single moment into a thousand." Bastilla explained quickly.
"Alright. What would your allies have me do?" Revan queried, understanding the risk she was taking.
"They want you to leave." Bastilla answered simply.
"Leave?" He asked, more confused than ever.
"Leave. Leave the Republic. Leave the Empire. Leave the galaxy." Bastilla replied, pulling away from his embrace, looking at him with all seriousness she could muster.
"To go where?" Revan questioned, still flooded with confusion.
"To another galaxy. To one where their ancient enemy slumbers. An enemy that is a threat to all life. The others have promised me they will keep an eye on things here." Bastilla explained, leaning forward and kissing forehead.
Images suddenly flashed through his mind. Great ships firing at a planet's surface, a growling creature with long white hair, humans screaming as life was drained from them, a silver city resting on top of a blue ocean and a large circular device made up of segments that floated in space. Revan shut his eyes as tight as he could, his brain burning, his head dropping slightly.
"Take this with you and fight the war they lost thousands of years ago. We will speak again. But you need to leave this place first." Bastilla said, retreating from him after depositing a shard of metal into a pouch on his belt.
"I will do as you wish, my love." Revan said, opening his eyes and watching her leave before being snapped back into his body.
Revan summoned the force into himself and quickly dashed backwards from between the Sith. But his trap had failed, the two Assassins also leapt clear of the approaching asteroids, causing them to impact each other and send shards of rock crumbling onto the metal deck.
Before Revan could do anything, the two Sith were upon him again, viciously attacking him. But it was exactly what he wanted. He allowed one of the Sith to stab into his left shoulder, forcing him to drop the red lightsaber and roar in agony.
Revan then allowed the other Sith to graze his right thigh, producing a gasp of pain. He had drawn both Sith in, as they both slashed to finish him off, he locked their red blades against his purple.
"And in the end, as the darkness takes me, I am nothing. Now I know how you felt, my friend." Revan said, before unleashing a wave of force energy, sending both Sith hurtling across the platform, knocking them unconscious.
In an instant, Revan then reached out with the force and activated the secret Ratakan transporter system build into the observation platform.
The transporter plucked him from the deck plating and deposited him on one of the lower levels. Revan growled in agony, shuffling over and leaning back against the nearest section of metal wall.
The Jedi dropped his lightsaber, the blade automatically retracting into the hilt, as he grasped at his side. His energy absorbing material weaved into his robes had managed to stop most of the energy from the Sith's lucky blow, but there was still a decent sized wound beneath his ribcage.
As Revan examined his injuries, he had failed to notice someone creeping towards him cautiously. Without realising, a young woman was a meter away from him, concern written on her face.
"Are, are you Sith?" She asked, obviously terrified, nervously plucking her own lightsaber from her belt and activating the green blade.
"No girl, I am Revan." He said through gritted teeth, still holding his wound.
She was fair skinned with an athletic build, her blonde hair tied up into a bun. But far too young to be familiar with war.
"Oh, Master, I'm sorry. I wasn't sure, I mean, your robes aren't...I don't know what to do." She said, nervousness and confusion coating her words. Her head darting from side to side, scanning their surroundings for possible attackers. This level was known to no one besides himself and HK, except for the droid crew that affected repairs or inventoried stored supplies. The young Padawan must have used the maintenance tubes to find the secret level, that was the only way besides the encrypted transporter system.
"You can start by lowering your lightsaber young one." Revan chuckled, noticing it was still pointed at him.
"Oh, of course, my apologies." She quickly nodded, deactivating her blade and returning the ornate hilt to her belt.
"What's your name, Padawan?" Revan asked as he pulled the force into himself to begin healing his wounds.
"Erica, Pravin. Erica Pravin, Master." She stuttered, quickly bowing, her robes untucked in places and tattered from her ordeal.
"How old are you, child?" He questioned, examining her small frame.
"I've just had my seventeenth life day." Erica answered honestly, still looking around at the dimly lit corridor.
"Erica, where's your master?" Revan asked, the pain easing slightly as the force helped his injuries.
"Master Cole Raan is dead, I felt it." Erica answered, tears forming in her eyes.
"What're you even doing down here?" Revan asked, somewhat callously, it had been a long time since he'd spoken to a Padawan after all.
"My master sent me away when he sensed a disturbance in the force and ordered me to stay out of sight. I discovered a maintenance shaft that led down here when we were bought onboard, I realised it wasn't on the official schematic, so it seemed like a good place to wait." Erica explained, wiping away a tear from her eye.
"The Foundry is lost, the Sith are in control now. We must leave immediately." Revan said, pushing himself from the wall, pain shooting across his entire body. He summoned his lightsaber and it obeyed, leaping into his left hand while his right braced his side. As he began to walk, Revan subtlety tested his injured shoulder, thankful to the force that the pain wasn't too severe, meaning he could still fight if required.
"Where will we go? To the Republic? To Tython? Can we even get off of the station?" Erica queried, panic and uncertainty causing her mind to race even more than a moment ago.
"On this level, there is a hidden hanger bay with a shuttle waiting. It was a part of a contingency plan encase this very thing ever happened. It's not on the Foundry's official blueprints, as you already know. From there, we will jump to hyperspace and rendezvous with my warship. Then, I will be leaving the galaxy." Revan explained as he began walking down the corridor, Erica following close behind with her lightsaber once again in hand.
"Wait, leave the galaxy? What are you talking about? You have to fight the Empire, we have to fight them!" She shouted, more of a statement of fact than a suggestion.
"The force has given me a vision. There is an enemy greater than the Sith Empire and I must face it. The Jedi Order will fight for the Republic, I can do no more." Revan explained as they continued to walk through the stations lowest level.
"What about me?" Erica asked, unsure of what to say or do. The question caused Revan to stop and ponder for a second. He hadn't planned to bump into a lost Padawan, or anyone on this level, let alone taking another organic being with him.
"I can give you my shuttle after I reach my warship, you can make your own way to Tython or Coruscant. I am presumed dead by the Sith and they won't waste time in broadcasting the news across the galaxy." Revan answered, turning to face her.
"What if I choose to come with you?" Erica questioned, curious.
"If that is what you wish and the will of the force, I will take you with me. I will teach you what I know of both the light side and the dark, but where I am going is far from here. You may never see your family or friends again." Revan replies, staring at her through his mask.
"I have no family, Master Raan was the closest thing I had to a father. As for friends, they're all dead." Erica said, grief jolting through her by mentioning his name.
"The choice is yours. The enemy we face are unlike anything you or the Jedi have ever faced before. I can show you, but it is not easy to see." Revan cautioned her.
"Show me, I can handle it." Erica nodded, finding confidence deep within herself.
"That remains to be seen." Revan stated as he stepped towards her and extended a hand. His open palm began to glow and as it did, the same images Bastilla had shown him, flashed into Erica's mind. The great ships, the angry creatures and the dying humans caught her attention the most.
The strain of sharing the vision weakened Revan to the point where he dropped to his knees, while Erica clutched at her head and yelled in pain.
"I will go with you." She managed to say after a few seconds of heavy breathing, raising herself up into a slightly hunched position, quickly noticing Revan crouched down.
"Do not make this decision lightly. It will not be an easy path for either of us to walk." He said quickly, dragging himself to his feet, grunting as he used the wall to support his weight.
"I don't make it lightly. These creatures, these monsters, they need to be stopped. You can't do it alone. You will need help." Erica said as a matter of fact, her face now portraying the strength she had managed to dig up.
"Very well then, let's go." Revan nodded, turning on the spot and continuing towards the hanger bay. His new unexpected Padawan followed him, still cautious, her grip on her lightsaber hilt as tight as ever.
As they reached the end of the corridor, the pair turned left and found an open hanger bay before them. In the middle of the large space sat a Rendaran-class assault shuttle, not flying standard Republic colours, instead it was completely jet black.
The landing ramp had been lowered and it appeared as if droids, obviously produced by the Foundry, were loading the vessel with crates. As Revan approached, the droids stopped momentarily to assess if the organic lifeforms their sensors had detected were a threat. As their systems recognised Revan, the machines resumed their previous task.
"Declaration: Master! It is agreeable to see you." The synthetic voice of a droid said merrily.
Erica watched as one of the foundry droids stepped forward, carrying the crimson-coloured head of another droid.
"HK-47, how're you doing, old friend?" Revan asked, concern filling his voice as he stopped to examine the remains of his companion.
"Statement: My body was destroyed by those insufferable Sith, Master." HK-47 said, his voice conveying artificial annoyance.
"Yes, I saw. Don't worry, old friend, I'll fix you. Just like I've done a million times before." Revan reassured, waving off his droids' concerns.
"Mockery: Oh, thank you Master!" HK joked. Revan had no doubt that if the droid had eyes to roll, it would have.
"Are we ready to leave?" He asked, watching as the other droids finished loading the last of the crates.
"Confirmation: Indeed we are, Master. All supplies and materials on your list have been loaded as per your orders." HK informed, from the hands of the droid that had salvaged its remains, which were being carried in a backpack.
"Good work, HK. Prepare to depart." Revan nodded, walking past the droids and climbing up the loading ramp.
"Query: Destination?" HK asked as the droid that was carrying his head and the others entered the ship.
"We're going to rendezvous with the Bastilla's Might and leave to fight a war being raged elsewhere." Revan answered cryptically. Half of the shuttles rear compartment, normally reserved for carrying troops, was occupied with the loaded supplies.
"Statement: As long as there will be meatbags for me to kill, I don't care what war I fight." HK said bluntly as the other droids formed into ranks and deactivated themselves.
Erica didn't say anything, she simply walked up the loading ramp and glanced around the compartment packed full of crates and droids.
"Are you ready to leave?" Revan asked, turning around at the bottom of the ladder that led up to the cockpit.
"Yes, Master Revan." Erica nodded, looking at him directly.
"Then let's leave. Join me, I need a co-pilot." Revan smiled behind his mask, before spinning around and pulling himself up to the cockpit, grimacing as his wounds sent jolts of pain through his body.
"Coming, Master." Erica nodded again, pressing the button next to the ladder that triggered the loading ramps closure process. With a heavy clunk and a hiss of engaging hydraulics, the door raised itself up until it sealed shut.
Erica climbed the ladder and dropped herself into the empty pilots' seat behind Revan, quickly examining the standard controls.
Revan pressed a series of buttons, activating the shuttles systems and immediately powered the engines. With a series of commands, he raised the shuttle from the hangers' deck and slowly began moving forward.
"Padawan, ready the hyperdrive. The coordinates are already in the navigational system." Revan ordered, increasing the shuttles speed. While it was doubtful that any of the Sith or Jedi forces could detect his shuttle, he didn't want to risk being shot down, so he was manning the weapons system and most of the flight controls.
"Hyperdrive is ready, Master." Erica informed as the shuttle left the secret hanger bay and sped off into space, aiming for a breech in the sensor net.
"Jump when ready." Revan commanded, slowing the vessel slightly, looking in the distance as Republic and Imperial warships fought each other. Turbolasers of green and red flashed between the two sides while chunks of flaming debris floated around them. After a second, the sight faded as space around them blurred only to be replaced with the blue hued tunnel of hyperspace.
"We're on route to the coordinates that were in the navigational computer, Master." Erica informed, raising herself slightly to look over her console and the back of her new Masters' chair.
"It won't be long before we arrive. When we do, we'll head straight for the bridge and set a course for the device in my vision." Revan explained, watching the tunnel in front of him.
"Yes, Master. Dropping out of hyperspace, now." Erica said quickly as the computer began beeping, a noise she silenced with a quick button press.
As the tunnel ended, the shuttle abruptly slowed down, bringing a large black warship into view. It was unlike any ship Erica had seen before. Three fins surrounded and emanated from a central orb, it was a unique design for sure.
Revan flew the shuttle towards one of the side fins where the glow of a white atmospheric shield, protecting a hanger bay, came into view.
The small shuttle slowly entered the hanger bay, passing over several landing slots before settling on the deck below with a dull thud. Erica jumped out of her seat and headed down into the rear compartment, side stepping HK's caretaker to reach the ramp control.
Revan pulled himself up out of his chair, grunting in pain as he did so.
The cargo ramp hissed as it was lowered by its hydraulics and released Revan's new Padawan out into the carnivorous hanger bay.
He lowered himself down the ladder, his breathing heavy as he did so. It took all of his strength not to pass out and as he reached the bottom, he sighed in relief and exhaled his stored agony.
"Query: Do you wish the shuttle to be unloaded, Master?" HK asked from behind the Jedi.
"Yes, have the droids unload the ship, I require a full inventory of all onboard supplies before we reach our destination. I need to go to the bridge and plot our course." Revan nodded, grabbing his side again and walking off of the shuttle. He walked past his awe-struck apprentice, her eyes surveying her surroundings that were full of cargo crates and sealed secondary alcoves.
"What kind of ship is this?" Erica questioned, still looking around as she noticed its unique interior design.
"This is a Rakatan Warship, the Bastilla's Might." Revan answered, heading off towards the large door at the other end of the bay.
"Rakatan, Master?" Erica asked, unsure, following the man closely.
"An ancient race that existed long before the Republic, they created the Foundry and other technological marvels." Revan explained, unwilling to go into galactic history at this exact point in time.
"So you found this ship?" Erica queried, quickly as they passed a stack of supplies.
"No, it was built, in secret. Many, many years ago by another Rakatan facility known as the Star Forge." Revan answered, as the pair approached the door.
When the sensors by the door detected their presence, it opened without any manual input. As the bulkhead separated, it revealed a Rakatan transport pad. The pair stepped onto the slightly raised platform and Revan typed a command into the console attached to the central pillar.
With a whirl of yellow energy, they were suddenly on a different pad, in a different part of the ship. The new door in front of them opened just as the previous one had, except the view was very different. A large spacious bridge, that seemed to be in the forward section of the ships orb, was displayed before them.
Without hesitation, Revan stepped off of the transport pad and walked onto the bridge. All around him the droid crew went about their duties, not even acknowledging his existence.
Revan walked straight up to one of the consoles towards the front, the large window in front of him displaying the interior surface of the ship's fins. Without saying a word to the droid sat at the station, he reached down and typed in a set of spatial coordinates. They were beyond the outer rim, outside of the galaxy even, but not exactly close to the galactic barrier.
"Take us into hyperspace and head to these coordinates. Let me know when we are there." Revan ordered, standing back up to his full height, grabbing his side again as pain radiated from his injury.
"Yes, Sir." The droid nodded, typing on its console to ready the vessel for hyperspace travel.
"Master?" Erica asked as she walked over to him, concern on her face.
"I'm alright, just a scrape. The force will heal me, given time." Revan reassured her, reaching over and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"So, what do we do now?" Erica asked, watching as the ship launched itself into the familiar tunnel of hyperspace, the Bastilla's Might humming with power as its systems began to be utilised for the first time since her construction centuries ago.
"Right now? We rest. It'll be a few days before we reach the device. I need that time to meditate and heal. I suggest you do the same." Revan answered before he turned and left the bridge, heading back towards transporter pad, wanting to go to the crew quarters located in another section of the ship.
"Yes, Master." Erica nodded, following him to the transport pad. Once again, after stepping onto it, Revan typed in a command and the two disappeared in a wave of yellow light.
As the light faded, instead of being in a sealed room like their previous journey through the transporter system, the duo were stood at the end of a very long corridor. Revan, without saying anything, walked up to the nearest door on the right-hand side of the hallway and pushed the button on the access pad.
The door opened as the system accepted the command, Revan glanced over his shoulder to see his new Padawan accessing the quarters opposite his own.
"Good night, young one." Revan said, before stepping beyond the threshold into his room and allowing the door to close behind him.
"Good night, Master." Erica nodded, turning around to find the door to his room already closed. She stepped inside her quarters and let her own door close automatically.
The room was surprisingly large, not anything like the accommodation she had become accustom too during her time helping her former Master, stationed onboard vessels of the Republic Navy. With a double bed to sleep on, a seating area, a dining area situated next to a box shaped device built into the wall and a currently open door that led to a refresher.
"I'll use the refresher in the morning." Erica said, pulling her hair out of the bun it had been in, allowing her golden locks to fall around her face. The Padawan unclipped her belt and dropped it on the large counter that separated the kitchen and seating area. Her lightsaber hilt produced a clanging sound as the two metals impacted each other, damaging her already relaxing mind, suddenly consumed by exhaustion.
Erica walked deeper into the room, passing the seating area too tired to take a better look at it. Without a thought, she just allowed herself to drop onto the large bed. Her eyes began to close themselves as the weight of her exhaustion took a hold and without consciously noticing, sleep took her into its calming embrace.
So that was the first chapter of Stargate Atlantis: Revan.
Again, this story will be a slow burn and I want to update it at least once a month. I think this story had a lot of potential and I'm excited to share it with all of you.
I hope you enjoyed and please review.
Thank you again,
