Jaune crosses the clearing in a flash, his muscles aching and his aura non-existent. Before the knight could even think of having second thoughts he's in front of the girl on the other side. He raises his sword high above his head ready to cut her down. As Jaune looks into the eyes of Neo his grip falters for a moment before he regains his hold and the blade comes down whistling as it cuts through the air.

For a second nothing happens. But soon the sound of glass shattering fills the air and destroys the silence. Jaune's eyes widen as he sees the girl explode into countless shards of glass in front of him. Jaune's momentum from the heavy slash carries through, and digs a small trench in the ground with his blade, his knuckles white from how tight he's holding onto the sword.

The knight knew the sword never made contact with the girl; it didn't even touch her illusion but still the glass shattered. Jaune stares blankly as he watches the pieces of glass fall through the air. The remnants of the girl's aura glittering in the sunlight. The pieces of Neo's soul reflected in the eyes of Jaune.

"Even when I want to do the righ- No the correct thing. I still can't follow through…" Jaune looks down at the fading pieces of glass on the ground in front of him. "I couldn't even bring myself to kill a fake her."

"Why can't I do it?" Jaune looks back down at his sword, his eyes search for an answer in the lines of the ancestral weapon but no matter how hard he searches, the blade has no answer for him.

'I know why…' The voice doesn't wait for the knight to respond as it continues. 'It's because you're still a fraud. Nothing more than a fake hero.'

"shut up…"

'Why? I'm right. If you were a hero you could have saved Pyrrha and Penny. If you were a Real hero you would have killed Neo when you had the chance.'

"Shut Up."

'A real hero would be able to do what they need to do.'

"SHUT UP!" The knight yells as he launches a fist at the tree in front of him. Jaune doesn't even have time to regret his decision as he hears a bone chilling screech come from the forest. The knight's inner thoughts are put on hold as he rips his sword out of the ground besides him wincing slightly as he grips the weapon with his now injured hand.

Jaune quickly backs into the middle of the clearing to give himself the most time to react in case whatever made the noise finds him. Slowly spinning with his sword at the ready, the knight looks for the creature that made the noise, his eyes frantically searching trying not to get caught off guard and give up any advantage he might have.

Jaune's search is quickly ended as he sees something burst from the canopy of the forest near the clearing. His eyes widen in shock as he spots something that he thought only existed in fantasy. A huge green and blue creature almost seems to hover above the treeline, its wings spread giving it a majestic yet frightening look, its scales glinting in the sunlight and hypnotizing the knight as he looks at the creature. The moment of awe is short lived as the creature starts to to fall back down towards the forest, before it angles its body. The wind catches under its large wings and lets the monster glide swiftly towards the clearing and the stunned and unmoving Jaune.

"Is that a dragon?" Jaune has been in a lot of fights these past 3 years but he's never had to fight a dragon. The knight shakes slightly as he faces the huge creature. Blood slowly drips down off of his damaged knuckles and onto the sword as his grip tightens. Jaune realizes quickly that he is probably the only thing in this clearing that the dragon wants. The knight pushes the pain in his hands and soreness in his body to the side and gets ready for his 4th fight today.

The dragon silently glides over the treeline on a path for the young arc approaching the knight at a much faster speed than Jaune is comfortable with. As the dragon gets closer Jaune really gets to take a look at the creature from its large lavender eyes and slit pupils and to its small front legs and long dull tail that doesn't seem to fit with the rest of its vibrant body. Jaune knows this creature may not be as big as the nevermore from Beacon's initiation but that didn't matter because it's not a group of 8 people this time it's just him, a very tired, and very beat up him.

Soon the dragon reaches the clearing, lowering itself further as the trees are no longer in its way reaching out one of its two large hind legs to snatch the boy. Jaune reacts quickly and drops himself to the ground letting the talons of the creature pass over him. The dragon's own eyes widen in surprise, not expecting the small creature to be able to evade it.

Jaune quickly gets up to his feet, turning around to face the creature watching it reach the end of the clearing before flapping its wings and in one motion rising above the trees. The knight looks at the creature hoping for its departure just for the dragon to angle its body to its side, swoop around in a large 180 and head back towards him.

Jaune's grip on the sword tightens even further as he sighs. He already knew that this thing isn't going to give up but he could still hope. Steadying his breath the knight stares down the creature knowing that he's going to have to fight as hard as he can if he wants to make it out of this clearing alive. His muscles burn and his armor feels heavy on his chest but the knight stands tall ready to face the creature.

The large creature barrels towards the knight not caring about what the knight thinks or his resolve, instead completely focused on getting its prey. The dragon lowers itself, flapping its wings violently to pick up extra speed before gliding again, heading towards the boy much faster than before.

The dragon and Jaune meet in a violent exchange, the knight's tired body entirely unprepared for the weight and speed of the dragon, and the dragon not prepared for its opponent to be able to react or defend against its assault. The dragon tries grabbing Jaune but the knight deflects hitting the dragons leg with the flat of his blade just in time to prevent the large creature from sinking its claws into his heart and ending the fight immediately

Unfortunately the weight and speed of the dragon was too much for the boys arms to deflect completely and didn't stop the talon from ripping through the boys armor and up through his chest causing Jaune to let loose a loud scream in pain his armor and chest sporting a nasty gouge from the bottom of his ribs to right below his collar bone. Blood gushes out of the wound, and Jaune is unable to heal himself with aura. The knight collapses to his knees looking at the steady stream of blood coming from his chest. Jaune tries pushing the pain away knowing if he lets it get to him it will be the end. Now running purely on adrenaline, Jaune turns around once again, his body screaming in pain as he moves. The burning feeling makes the knight cry out as he forces himself to get ready to fight again.

The dragon flies back up above the treeline getting ready to finish off its injured foe. It quickly banks its large wings, almost grazing the top of the trees as it turns to face the bloodied knight. Expecting it to be a bit easier now that its prey is injured the dragon conserves a bit of energy deciding to glide towards its foe. The knight finishes the agonizing process of getting up off the ground and raising his sword again, his whole body shaking from a mixture of fear, pain, and blood loss. The only thing keeping the boy moving at this point is adrenaline and willpower.

Jaune, seeing the creature head towards him again, decides that he's not going to win this by playing defense. Banking on his new plan working Jaune sprints towards the dragon hoping he can take the creature by surprise, and it works. The dragon doesn't have enough time to turn away from the knight to evade and the blade of Crocea Mors catches its underside leaving a long gash down its chest and stomach. The creature cries out in pain flying quickly away from the knight to regroup and collect itself. The sudden movement and motion from the exchange almost rips the weapon from Jaune's grasp and elicits a small yelp from the boy, his whole left side feeling like someone just tried ripping him in half.

But still Jaune once again forces his own body to turn making sure his eyes are still on the dragon. His face contorted and stuck between determination and agony. Tears fall down his face as he gets prepared to fight the creature once more. Breathing hurts, moving hurts, blinking even feels painful but Jaune knows that he still has to fight.

The blow wasn't enough to kill or incapacitate the monster but enough to know it's going to have to put in more effort if it wants to come out victorious. A message that it took very much offense too as it got prepared to end the fight with one final sweep towards the boy. Jaune gets himself ready, his body facing the monster. Crocea Mors hangs in his left hand a mixture of both the knight's and dragon's blood covering it. Jaune hisses in agony as he lifts up the sword and grips it with his right hand shakily raising the heirloom facing towards the monster.

The dragon flies towards the knight both ready to end the fight. Jaune sprints towards the monster adrenaline carrying him on. The two meet in another violent clash, the monster's mouth opening ready to chomp down on the knight and end his existence while jaune's sword swings up in an attempt to decapitate the dragon. the monster narrowly dodges a shot that would have cut straight through its throat.

Instead the creature uses one of its large hind legs to attack, not expecting the knight to be able to react to multiple quick attacks in succession. Jaune sees the talons flying towards him and in a split second Jaunes reflexes take over the knight unconsciously raising his sword hoping to block the incoming talons and come out alive. Jaune's defense does a lot more damage than he expects, as he doesn't just block the leg of the creature but cuts half of it off. Unfortunately for Jaune the momentum still carries through and the severed foot crashes into his torso, spraying dragon blood in the knight's face and launching the poor knight several feet back. The force of the projectile knocks the wind out of the already abused chest of the young arc and damages the armor even further.

The dragon fairs much worse than Jaune as it is now missing one of its legs. The beast falls out of the air. Luckily for the dragon it's not a long fall but it is a painful one as the creature hits the ground roughly and bounces like a skipping stone across the clearing before eventually sliding to a halt near the end of the clearing where Neo made her escape.

Both combatants lie on the ground writhing in pain. The knight breathes shallowly between small whimpers. The dragon letting out its own pained cries as they both truly start feeling their wounds.

Slowly both creatures get on their feet or foot in the case of the dragon, its small front legs unable to support its full weight so it has to balance on the one large back leg it has left and use its wings like crutches. The opponents face the other down, a silent conversation between man and beast ensues. Both know that if the fighting continues that both of them are going to die, and at this point even if it doesn't they still might die. Staring the dragon down Jaune nods his head slightly at the dragon, his body drenched in both his own blood and that of the dragons. The dragon looked back at him with anger in its eyes and blood from both of its wounds dripping out. The two injured heroes both silently agree that for now the battle is over. The dragon puffs out of its nose in a response to Jaune that doesn't need translation.

The dragon raises its wings and flaps, trying to raise itself in the air, but it fails and falls back to the ground. The knight watches the dragon's attempts silently. The urge to try to help the dragon and the urge to laugh at the absurdity of the situation is very strong. Jaune does neither though as he fears what would happen if he got too close to the dragon and what would happen if he laughed at it. A familiar voice in his head speaks as the dragon continues to struggle to get out of the clearing giving a voice to the intrusive thought poking at the knight's brain.

'You should ask it if it wants its leg back.'

'Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you?'

'I'm you remember? You should be saying "what the fuck is wrong with me?"'

Finally the dragon ends up succeeding as it lifts itself off the ground and wobbles in the air as it tries to adjust for the lost weight of its leg. Eventually getting righted in the air the creature spares one last look at its foe, the Arc meeting its eyes both knowing that this won't be the last time they meet. The dragon flapping heavily and eventually making it over the treeline and away from the clearing…

Jaune breathes a sigh of relief as he sees the creature shrink into the distance. The knight's moment of calm is erased as the adrenaline starts to wear off and his body starts to feel heavy and cold, as the blood loss gets to him causing the knight to drop his sword as pain shoots through his body. Jaune, reminded by the pain that he is still probably bleeding out, looks down to gauge the damage done to him.

"Damn, this armor is trashed…" Jaune groans before unbuckling the armor and letting the pieces fall to the ground. The movement causes Jaune to gasp in pain and stumble slightly. If the feeling of moving made the boy lightheaded then the sight almost makes the boy faint as he looks at the massive tear in his shirt, the garment sticking to his bloody torso, his chest sporting a deep gash that was still bleeding fairly heavily.

Jaune decides that he is going to have to take off his shirt to properly assess the damage. The boy slowly lifts up the shirt, the movement making the knight let out several pained noises and a short yelp as his hand grazes over the wound while he rolls the shirt up his chest. Sliding an arm out and using it to get the shirt over his head without having to move his other arm too much. Jaune eventually gets the shirt off of his body and lets it fall to the ground.

Looking back at the wound the knight feels nauseous as his eyes roam over the wound. The gash looks to be about two inches wide at the widest part and it's deep enough that a few of his ribs are visible causing the knight to gag as he looks down at the long wound. Jaune quickly tries bringing his aura up to heal him but just like last time there is no sign of his aura. Jaune knew in his heart that nothing would happen but is still disappointed.

Jaune soon decides that he will probably die if he doesn't figure something out soon, after a few moments of brainstorming Jaune reaches down to grab his shirt off the ground and uses his useful arm to shake off the dirt before he presses it against the gash. Next Jaune reaches down towards his damaged armor. Pushing the chest piece back on over the shirt and wound. Jaune starts to tighten the straps as tightly as possible without damaging himself too badly, hoping to slow blood flow to the wound and keep the shirt in place.

Hissing in pain, Jaune tightens each strap one by one. Finally getting the last one done the knight looks down at the damaged armor and his chest. The black shirt covering his wound was held in place by his armor. Satisfied that he probably wouldn't die immediately and hopefully give himself enough time for his aura to come back and start healing his body Jaune decides he should probably try and find a safe place to rest, and this clearing obviously wasn't the right spot if the past 20 minutes have been any indication. Jaune picks up his sword switching Crocea mors from its two handed form back into a sheath and lets it latch onto his belt.

Jaune takes a pained and deep breath in as he looks towards the treeline. After calming himself and preparing for whatever lies next the knight slowly limps into the forest, his hands hanging loosely at his side and his breaths shallow…

As Jaune walks through the forest he starts to feel tired and panics slightly and tries to find ways to keep himself awake. His first attempt by talking to the voice hoping that it could help him even if he would regret going into his darker thoughts later. Unluckily for Jaune it doesn't answer him. The knight grumbles about how not even his own conscience wants to deal with him.

Jaune knows his chances of making it through the forest are slim but as long as there is a chance he'll take it. He has too much that he can't leave behind. No matter how lightheaded he feels and how cold his body is Jaune wont let himself die.

Jaune is so deep in his thoughts about how he has to survive the Arc boy doesn't notice the small warmth around his wound as his aura slowly reforms and uses itself to repair the damage on his chest. The knight thinks that the warmth is just death creeping closer, and instead tries to focus on getting out of the forest, hopefully landing somewhere he could get help. The urge to sleep more and more presents every step he takes and his eyes get heavier with every blink the knight stumbles a bit as he tries to keep moving.

Jaunes' blinks get longer and longer as he keeps going; eventually the knight is so lethargic that he's tripping over his feet every other step. Jaune ends up tripping over one of his own legs and is unable to catch himself this time hitting the ground. Jaune refuses to go down though trying to force his body to move dragging himself along the ground knowing he has to keep going eventually Jaune gets to a tree and tries to use it to help brace himself so he could get to his feet. Flipping himself around so his back is to the tree the knight pushes his legs as hard as he can, his legs shaking as they try to push him up to a standing position.

Jaune knows his chances of making it through the forest are slim but as long as there is a chance he'll take it. He has too much that he can't leave behind. No matter how tired he feels and how cold his body is Jaune wont let himself die. The knight tries to keep his eyes open as long as he can but eventually he can't. His body stops listening and tries to preserve itself by conserving energy and focusing his aura on his wounds instead of trying to both keep him moving and fix the wound at the same time. Jaune's body slowly slides down the tree as he falls into darkness…

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!...

Jaune opens his eyes to see a much different roof than the one he was recently under. The dull white roof over his head is familiar and much more comforting than the dark roof of the forest. The alarm next to him beeps incessantly but he can't bring his focus to that at the moment as his mind flashes through everything that happened to him in his dream.

'I beat Neo twice and fought a dragon after going back in time? It had to be a dream, but I could feel everything…' Jaune sits up and gets to the edge of his bed turning the alarm off while rubbing his eyes. Jaune then grabs his clothes for the day and walks to the bathroom to get ready.

Knocking to check that no one was in there Jaune opens up the door and walks in locking the door behind him. Taking his shirt off, Jaune's curiosity gets the better of him as he looks down at his chest. What he spots is nothing out of the ordinary, no bandages or a scar, no sign of the cut at all. Not entirely convinced, the knight rubs his hand over his chest and feels nothing.

'It felt so real.' Jaune thinks as goes back to getting ready and tries getting his mind off the dream

"Hmmm. Why is it so quiet today?" Jaune wonders aloud as he comes out of the bathroom looking around the room for his teammates. "Usually they're here when I wake up… Did they have a date last night?" Jaune tries remembering what happened the night before but can't seem to come up with anything. The only thing he can remember is the dream.

Shaking it off as nothing but sleeping weird, the knight puts his armor on before looking at the time. The number on the clock causes the knight's eyes to widen to the size of dinner plates and his jaw to drop as he stares blankly for a moment before his brain reboots and Jaune freaks out.

"SIX FIFTY?!" The knight yells in a panic. Grabbing his 'sword', before flinging open the door and sprinting down the hallway passing several people in a hurry before making it to the elevator and jamming the call button. Luckily for Jaune the elevator is already on the floor and the doors slowly open for the knight. Jaune hops into the elevator, his hand smashes the button to the first floor, the doors closing slowly in front of him.

"Please close. Please Close. Please Close." Jaune frantically pants trying to force the door to close faster with pure willpower. Eventually the door closes to Jaune's relief and he feels the elevator jerk before slowly beginning its descent down the academy floor by floor. Jaune closes his eyes silently and prays that no one else needs to get on the elevator.

DING!

Jaune's eyes snap open. The knight is slightly confused as to why the ride was so quick since his dorm was on the 6th floor. The thoughts are quickly pushed out of Jaunes mind as he feels for once his luck prevailed. The elevator doors don't even have time to finish sliding open before the frantic Jaune flies through them. Sprinting out of the building Jaune looks towards the docks to see a bullhead filling up with people Jaune races over managing to get in just in time.

As Jaune blinks the bullhead ride is already over the knight briefly thinking about why he doesn't remember the ride down before pushing it out of his mind and starting his race towards the streets checking his scroll as he gets to the corner to see if he made it in time. The clock on his scroll ticks to 7:10 am and Jaune sighs in relief as he's still 5 minutes early.

"I don't know how I did it but I made it." Jaune pants as he brushes sweat from his brow. "Now all I have to do is wait for the kids." Jaune yawns as the fatigue from just waking up and pretty much sprinting all the way down to Mantle catches up to him. "Maybe I could take a quick power nap before they get here…"

Jaune closes his eyes for a moment before suddenly being snapped awake at the sound of something growling loudly right in front of him. Immediately popping into action Jaune gets into a fighting stance pointing the weapon in his hand at the enemy. Soon his eyes adjust, and Jaune sees a large truck in front of him. Relieved to know that it's the engine of the truck making the sound and not a grimm, Jaune lets out another sigh before the realization kicks in that he's in the middle of the street and holding a stop sign like a weapon in front of him. Jaunes face contorts into one of confusion as he tries to remember how he got here with no luck.

'This is getting weird now I'm never this tired.' Jaune thinks while leading the children his brain is half focused on the safety of the kids and half focused on how odd this morning has been for him. His brain is constantly going back to the dream he had the night before.

As Jaune keeps leading the kids to the school he sees a sight that he is not prepared for in the slightest. Jaune sees three beowolfs come around the corner of a block and race towards him and the children. Jaune panics as he realizes he has no weapon to deal with the small pack. Jaune reaches into his pocket for his scroll to call for some back up to feel nothing in his pocket. The knight frantically searches for the piece of technology he just had with him. After his quick pat down swears under his breath trying not to let the kids know he is panicking.

Jaune has little time and tells the kids to find a building with an unlocked door to run into and stay put until he can come and get them. He can hear the sound of the small children running behind him and see the grimm run towards him.

Coming up with an idea quickly Jaune tries forcing his aura into the stop sign hoping to reinforce the object enough that he can use it as an effective weapon. Jaune tries bringing his aura to the surface but is unable to, his aura sputtering out and dying. Jaune's panic rises even more as he realizes he can't even get it to protect himself.

Jaune is going to have to work with what he's got. The knight holds the sign in both hands like a sword hoping to get the most out of it as he uses it to defend himself, and buy time. The first beowulf makes contact with the knight's weapon making the sign bend but fortunately it stays intact as the knight throws the grimm back and focuses on the next one trying to hit the creature but whiffing as it rams into him throwing the knight back several feet and giving him a taste of his own medicine, before bounding right back after him, giving him almost no time to defend.

Jaune brings the stop sign up to try and block but the beowulf slices right through the sign cutting it into two pieces. The monster lunges at the blonde its mouth open and ready to end the knight in one move just to get stopped in its tracks as the knight jams the jagged piece of sign in his right hand through the top of the grimm's mouth. The jagged piece of metal pierces through the top of its head and kills it instantly.

'Two more to go.' Jaune rolls the quickly fading creature off of him and looks around for the other two grimm. Unable to find them, Jaunes brain assumes the worst and he runs back the way he came with the broken stop sign still in his hand. Eventually reaching the end of the street the knight sees a sight that causes his heart to drop.

Scattered across the street are the bodies of the children he was trying to protect and standing over them were two beowolfs that stared at the knight before shattering into a million pieces to reveal two people. Blood drips off of Neo's parasol and Cinders glass swords as they look at him. The familiar faces of Neo and Cinder put Jaune into a rage as he looks at their grinning faces taunting him silently.

Jaune's grip tightens around the stop sign as he lets out a scream and runs at the duo. His anger smothers any thoughts other than to kill the two in front of him. Cinder's mouth moves but Jaune can't hear and doesn't care what the maiden said as Jaune bounds forward ready to tear the two apart with his bare hands if he has to. Meeting them at the end of the street Jaune swings his small weapon with as much force as possible. The weapon meets neos and doesn't stand a chance as the girl slices what little is left of his improvised weapon in two. Jaune's eyes widen momentarily before flinging the piece left in his hand at the assassin's head hoping to distract her.

Jaune's distraction fails as he goes for a tackle just to get kicked in the side by cinder and fly across the street. The knight doesn't get any time to recover as cinder is already on him hacking and slashing not even giving Jaune time to retaliate, only barely evading her slashes and stabs the knights armor taking serious damage from where the blade connects. Neo soon joins in and Jaune can't defend the blades cutting into his arms as he tries deflecting and dodging unsuccessfully..

"You're going to die here, Jaune, and Neo and I are going to enjoy killing you." Cinder says to Jaune as she goes for another slash, this one slicing through the knight's chest piece like warm butter. Jaune feels a sense of deja vu as he sees his blood fly through the air in front of him. The knight falls back onto the ground, his body growing cold.

The sound of Cinder's laugh grates against his ears as he lies on the ground unable to move. His body feels so heavy and cold the most he's able to do is glare at the two people standing over him. A wide smile splits the face of Neo while Cinder's small grin is filled with amusement at the knight's position.

"How does it feel, Jaune? How does it feel to once again not be able to do anything as the ones who you care about die. If you were stronger maybe you could have prevented it, but sadly… You're just as weak as ever."

"I'm going to kill YOU!" Jaune screams as a sudden burst of energy hits him. Jaune tries to get up and grab cinder making it to his knees before feeling warmth spread across his body. The knight looks down to see a thin blade coming out of his chest. The strength leaves Jaune nearly immediately as he falls back down sliding off of Hushes blade hitting the ground with a wet thud.

Jaune lies face down on the ground, his body unmoving. The sound of laughing above him rings out once again before he is rolled over by cinder's foot. Cinder kneels down beside Jaune, her smirk reappearing on her face as she looks down at him.

"I thought you were going to kill me?" The maiden mocks. "What happened?"

Jaune tries to speak but nothing comes out except weak rasps and gurgling as the knight chokes on his own blood. Cinder laughs at the knight's attempts at talking, and soon the mute joins in, her silent giggling adding on to the anger the knight feels through his body. Jaune's vision slowly fades as he watches them laugh above him. He tries to keep himself awake to no avail; he's going to die and he can't stop it no matter what he does. Jaune's vision finally goes black as he lies on the ground. The last thing he ever sees in this world is the smiling face of Cinder…

"Do you get it yet?" A familiar voice rings out in the darkness. Jaune flinches, not expecting anyone to bother him in death.

"Why are you here?!" Jaune shouts into the void as he walks around looking for any physical sign of the intruder.

"Why wouldn't I be? I'm you. Remember?" the voice responds, an identical copy of Jaune walking out of the darkness in front of him.

"What do you want?" the original growls out his hand reaching for his sword just to find nothing there.

"To tell you that you need to do what's necessary. If you don't then you are going to be the reason people will get killed." The copy responds. The imitation grimaces as he stares down Jaune. The empty eyes of the doppelganger make the knight feel on edge as they peer into his own.

"You've already said this a million times. Why are you saying it again?" Jaune asks the doppelganger irritation leaking into his question

"Because you won't listen. You are going to have to kill Neo, and if you can't then you or someone else will die. Are you willing to risk yourself and others to keep one person alive because you think that it's the right thing to do? Think about it." With that final statement the copy of Jaune fades away and the darkness envelopes Jaune once again…

Authors Notes:

Well Chapter 5 is done and the creation of chapter 6 has already started. I hope you enjoyed it. Now onto the other stuff.

First off the dragon. I decided on it before I even started on chapter one's outline because I want to add some other creatures and characters. I would love to see how you guys felt about its first appearance in this story. So if you review, maybe drop an opinion on it.

I also gave Jaune a dream sequence that I enjoyed writing (which makes me sound like a psychopath given the content of the dream.) I thought Penny and/or Pyrrha would be too obvious so I wanted to go after something else Jaune would care about in this dream sequence and would hurt him. So as all good Jedi do I went after the younglings. Another thing with the dream, I thought would be an interesting idea was everytime Jaune feels tired or shuts his eyes in the dream and skips forward it's his body shutting down in the real world.

As I write this author's note I am still trying to think of a title for this chapter so if you guys have any better ideas than the one that comes with the chapter once again leave a review :)

I have my surgery this friday and am a bit nervous but I wanted to get a chapter out before then and give you guys something. Hopefully after the surgery I will be able to write for longer periods of time and give you guys more content and work on some other stuff I have been doing on the side.

Anyways please review and tell me what you liked or didn't. If you have any theories or just want to talk about the story also feel free to review . I love reading the reviews and seeing what you guys have to say about the story. As always I thank you for reading and I hope you guys have a wonderful day.
