Sasha Banks is finally on the same page with Seth and the God Girls but is there enough time to save themselves and the DX family from Shane McMahon's last shot? Find out in the final story in the Seth and the God Girls series.

Chapter Twenty-Four – Supernatural Connections

The road to the Royal Rumble, San Diego, California

The DX family were split over the East and West Coast leading up to the Royal Rumble. Hayworth and MacKenzie Helmsley decided to stay on the West Coast while LC, Cameron and Cheyenne went to New York City with ATM. The reason for the split was because the God Girls needed the support of the DX family on both coasts, as Seth Rollins and Bianca Belair were in the hospital after being brutally attacked by Montez Ford and Rhea Ripley in Greenwich, Connecticut. It had been a few weeks since the attack and Shawn and Hunter were confronting Beth Hardy as to what her involvement was in the incident. Carla McCool and Aurora Helmsley were keeping tabs on baby Michelle along with Roman and Abiyah Reigns, Faith Star and Rebecca Rogan on the East Coast.
DX were convinced Beth Hardy was behind it and that her father Jeff Hardy put her up to it in retaliation for him kissing Stephanie in Washington DC.

So, while they took care of the business end, the rest of the DX family wanted to make sure Seth and the God Girls were alright and they were far from alright…

The Ortons, New York City, New York

"Why aren't they waking up, it's been weeks now?" Becky Lynch asked Trish Stratus Orton from her home in New York City. Charlotte, Alexa, and Bayley were at the God Girls apartment over on Central Park. They decided to stay home and comfort each other while Becky went to get answers. The Man was defending her Championship against Rhea Ripley at the Royal Rumble, but this was beyond wrestling: this was personal. The leader of the God Girls was down, the Treasurer of Secrets of down and the rest of the God Girls needed a plan of action until Seth and Bianca were out of the hospital.

Trish sighed knowing whatever she said Becky wasn't going to like it and she stood to her feet and gave Becky a kind smile.

"When I got my Gift from God, I hated it. All I did was tell the Truth and I lost friends and felt isolated from the rest of the locker room. But I wasn't alone Becky; I had Lita and Melina and their friendship kept me going when things got really rough. Being a Christian is not easy and sometimes, you just want to give up and go back to your old life. But you can't, you were chosen by God to complete this assignment and you have. Because of Seth and the God Girls, the DX family jewels are finally back in the possession of the DX family and no McMahon will ever own them. Not to mention the fact that Sasha Banks finally knows who she really is and it's all because of Seth and the God Girls. You've fought demons, helped your friends, and saved families, this is what being a Christian with a Gift from God is all about. That's the good stuff, but there's also the bad stuff, like when your allies get hurt on the battlefield and you're forced to go on without them. What happened to Seth and Bianca was inspired by evil and we can't just hang around waiting for them to wake up before making a move," Trish said, and Becky's face started to crumble in response to what she thought Trish was going to say next.

"What are you saying Trish, are you saying that Seth and Bianca aren't…that they won't…just tell me what you're saying?" Becky asked but her tears already confirmed what she knew Trish was going to say.

"I'm saying that the God Girls need to be strong. I can't tell you all the details yet but what I can tell you is that Seth and Bianca, when they wake up, are going to need time to recuperate. The next assignment will start soon, it's not official but the God Girls are going to have to be ready. Since Bianca's out, I'll resume my role as the Truth: Trish Stratus and Lita will resume her role as Anointed Amy and take over from Seth. We're here for you all but if you're hoping for Seth and Bianca to suddenly kick out and resume their old positions, you'll be waiting a long time," Trish said, and Becky covered her face with frustration.

"I just reconnected with Finn, I can't start a new assignment without Seth and Bianca. I need to work on my marriage Trish!" Becky cried.

"I know that's why I'm hoping that Finn will do the right thing," Trish said.

"And what's that?" Becky replied.

"And support you as a God Girl," Trish said. "I'm hoping Finn will be the supportive husband you need him to be and not walk out on you,"

Becky looked at Trish seriously, "And what if he isn't? What if he leaves me, what then Trish? I can't lose my husband, okay? I can't lead the God Girls while Seth and Bianca are down!"

"Then what happens Becky? What happens to Perfection and Havana? Are you going to leave those two innocent babies to the wolves because if you don't step up, that's exactly what'll happen. I can't go into too much detail yet but trust me, you cannot abandon the God Girls now, not when so much innocent life is at stake and the new God Girls are being prepared to take on the baton when you guys finally hang it up. That time is not yet though Becky so please don't run away from this like you always do when life throws grenades at you," Trish said, and Becky scowled at Trish.

"You're asking too much of me, call me a flake or whatever you want but I know what's important in life and that's spending time with the man that you love and that's exactly what I'm going to do," Becky said, and she turned to leave the Ortons' home as Trish shook her head with disapproval.

"I agree with you Becky; you should spend time with the man that you love and the man you love should want to be with a woman who knows when it's time to do what's right instead of what's easy," Trish said. "Being a God Girl may not be easy, but it is better than whatever you decide to do with the rest of your life now that Seth and Bianca aren't there to shield you from the pain it involves,"

Becky turned around to face Trish and her face was red with emotion, "Seth and Bianca sacrificed everything for God and now they're both in a coma and everyone is wondering when they're going to wake up. They paid the price for the call on their lives, and they were on the frontline, the first ones to take enemy territory and stand for God against all the odds. I love them both so much and I need them to wake up because when they're around, I know everything is going to be okay. I don't know that anymore Trish, I don't know if I believe in any of this anymore, not without them," Becky said.

"Then don't walk out on them! Becky, they need you and you need to step up and lead the God Girls and not let them down, so when they wake up, they'll know that they chose right when they chose you to lead the God Girls!" Trish said and Becky's face softened with surprise.

"They chose me to lead the God Girls in their absence?" she asked softly, and Trish nodded.

"They told me that if anything happened to them, they wanted you to be the one to take over leadership of the God Girls. Are you really going to let them down Becky, so you can go on more dates with your husband? That's not what being a God Girl is about, or did they choose the wrong God Girl?" Trish asked.

Becky thought silently before responding, "Seth and Bianca never make the wrong choices," she replied, and Trish smiled.

"You can do this Becky; you were made for the frontline of battle. After all, you're the Man," Trish said, and Becky nodded.

"Yes, I am the Man and it's time for the Man to step up and be there for her friends," Becky said, and she waved goodbye to Trish.

"Where are you going?" Trish asked her.

"I think you already know, Truth," Becky replied, and Trish nodded as Becky left to go and see Finn Balor and tell him that she had decided to take over as leader of the God Girls until Seth and Bianca were out of the coma. She just hoped he would be the man that the Man needed him to be and stand by her side because she was going to need him for whatever the next assignment brought the God Girls' way.

Meanwhile back on the West Coast, the Royal Rumble was a few days from starting and Hayworth and MacKenzie were still at the hospital with Seth and Bianca hoping they would soon wake up.

Mac wiped the tears from her eyes waiting for Seth to open his, the whole congregation of Clearwater Baptist Church was praying for him as-well as Bianca. It had been weeks and there had been no sign of change, pray was all MacKnezie could do, and it was what Seth would have wanted. He was a man of prayer and she wanted him to know that the example that he had set had not been lost on her, or the congregation of Clearwater Baptist Church.

"This isn't fair Hayworth," Mac wept. "Seth's given his life to this business, all for him to end up in a coma days before the Royal Rumble? What the Hell is going on with Bianca's husband, why did he attack Seth with a Tombstone Piledriver?!"

Hayworth gave a heavy sigh with his hands clasped as he sat by the window calmly supporting his wife who wanted to be there when Seth woke up.

"I understand where Tez is coming from Mac," Hayworth said twisting his wedding band thoughtfully. "I was one of the men crying for Seth's blood. Seth and Bianca spend a lot of time together, I think Tez just snapped. He saw his future being compromised by a man who surrounded himself with beautiful women on a regular basis and these women worship the ground he walks on. The God Girls would do anything for Seth, do you know how many men would kill to have women in their lives like that? Seth basically had Bianca's time and attention and it was all Tez ever wanted from his wife. I think the idea of him starting a new assignment with the God Girls was the last straw and that's why Seth got Tombstoned in Greenwich, Connecticut, and that's why he's in a coma. Tez reached his breaking point and I know Seth didn't mean to create a wedge between Tez and Bianca but there were times when I wanted to strangle Seth for making you smile the way you did when you saw him. Seth has this ability to charm women and not in a dirty way and that's worse than if he was just trying to get every woman he ever met into bed. He's an honorable, caring, loving man who puts people first and himself last. He put Sasha over everything else because he believed in her, even though it's obvious that Sasha reached her breaking point a long time ago with Seth. I'm surprised they're even still married but Seth kept the faith and now they have a beautiful daughter,"

"A daughter that may well be a God Girl," MacKenzie said, and she squeezed Seth's hand tearfully. "Please wake up, your daughter needs you Seth," Mac looked over at her husband who looked back at her supportively, "What if he doesn't wake up Hayworth? What happens to the God Girls? How will Sasha survive without Seth? If it wasn't for Seth, Sasha wouldn't even know she was a McMahon. It was Seth and the God Girls that brought all those secrets out in the open. The business needs Seth and the God Girls, he just has to wake up he has to,"

"What is he going to wake up to though Mac?" Hayworth asked. "We need to find out what's going on with Tez, so that when Seth and Bianca do wake up, they wake up in a world that looks a lot better than it did when Montez and Rhea Ripley attacked them,"

"What's with that Ripley chick anyway? I thought she and Bianca were friends. Do you really think she's just trying to get heat for Montez the way she did for Dominik Mysterio?" Hayworth asked.

"Yes, I do but we need answers to that question too. We have to fix everything, so Seth and Bianca don't end up back here. This all started when Bianca got pregnant, we need to ask Tez if he did this out of jealousy or just to get over with the fans," Hayworth said, and Mac turned sour at the mention of Montez Ford.

"Hayworth, we've been here everyday since the attack happened. I haven't seen Montez Ford visit his wife once. Everyone else has been here except him and Rhea Ripley, even Sasha's come by with Havana. You tell me something's not going on with Tez for real. Just thinking about how he treated Bianca last year gives me the creeps," Mac said shuddering with discomfort and Hayworth raised his eyebrow at his wife curiously.

"Are you saying you don't want Tez and Bianca to get back together?" he asked her, and Mac turned her head in silence and Hayworth knew what that meant.

"When a man goes out of his way to hurt a woman as bad as Tez hurt Bianca with that piece in Sports Illustrated and all the memes and posts of him with Rhea, he doesn't deserve her. Bianca's a smart woman, she knows how this business works, if this was for his character, why didn't he smarten her up to what he was doing? Something about this just doesn't make sense Hayworth,"

Mac stood to her feet while Hayworth furrowed his brow, he really didn't think his wife was right about Tez, but she was a huge Bianca Belair fan. Her allegiance was with the EST no matter how justified Tez felt his actions were, as far as Mac was concerned, there was no coming back from this for Montez Ford.

"I'll talk to my dad again and see what he knows," Hayworth said, and he went outside to call Triple H and left Mac in the room with Seth and Bianca. She checked to see if she was alone and then she pushed Seth and Bianca's beds closer together and connected their hands.

"My husband was my second choice Seth, you know that. I wanted to marry you, but you married Sasha and look where that's gotten you. My prayer is that you find the woman you should be with and since I'm taken, that only leaves you with one option. When you wake up, you will be with the woman you love," Mac said, and she kissed Seth's head and stroked Bianca's cheek before she left to find Hayworth.

Meanwhile, in New York City, Trish Orton got a prophetic message from God, and she told Randy they had to go to the West Coast right away.

"Something has happened in the Heavenlies, and we have to stop it before it alters the course of events down here on Earth," Trish said grabbing her husband and jumping into a cab for JFK.

On the plane to California Randy saw that Trish was anxious over what had happened on the West Coast.

"If this is about what I think its about, we might be wasting our time by going to California," Randy said as Trish took a deep breath.

"It is about what you think its about and no, we would not be wasting our time," Trish said and four hours later, the Truth Couple made their way from the airport to the hospital room where Seth and Bianca were. After locating their room, Trish dashed to their bedsides and immediately unclasped their hands.

"Mac could have been carrying out a prophetic act, you just interrupted a divine event. Are you sure God won't be mad at you?" Randy said and Trish snapped at her husband.

"Shut up Randy, you hate Sasha Banks, and you also think Seth made a mistake marrying her," Trish said.

"He did," Randy added.

"Well, that's not what God said, and we can't have uninitiated women praying the end of a marriage into reality. Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks are still married whether he's in a coma or not and there is no other option for him down here. Marriage is a covenant, it is not a negotiation and there is no reason why Seth Rollins should leave Sasha," Trish said, and Randy looked at his wife like she was crazy.

"How can you say that to me with a straight face, knowing what you know is going to happen once Seth gets out of this coma?" Randy said.

"Yes, I know things are going to get really bad but that doesn't mean that their marriage is over," Trish said, and Randy fell silent deciding not to press his wife on this issue any further. "Don't forget what we said when Shawn and Lita got married. We told them that love never fails. Seth is not leaving Sasha for any woman, understood?"

"No Trish I don't understand but I love you, so I'm going to keep my mouth shut," Randy said, and he hugged his wife and kissed her on the head. "Can we go back to New York now that you've changed the course of history?"

"The Royal Rumble starts this weekend, we might as-well stay in California until then," Trish said.

"What about the God Girls, aren't we supposed to be taking care of them?" Randy said and Trish smiled thinking about her conversation with Becky Lynch.

"They're big Girls Randy, I think they can look after themselves now," she replied, and she prayed for Becky and Finn Balor hoping that their conversation over the future of the God Girls would be a successful one. The future of Seth and the God Girls depended on it.
