Author pow:
Hello everyone, here is the Author speaking. Before you start reading the actual Fic I highly advise you to do the same with following points so you would know more than can be condensated in short describtion on the frontal page:
1. I don't own Girls und Panzer, Pokemon or any other franchise used in this Fic, my ownership is limited to the Fic istelf and OC's, unless specified otherwise.
2. - Story is written entierly on a phone by a non-naitive English speaker, so eventual grammar errors and mispeeling are going to eventually happen.
3. - Story begins slightly before first episode of Girls und Panzer TV series and first episode of Pokemon Journeys: The Series. (PJ001 or S23 Ep1 in other codifications) Anything that happens during the course of both these series during the fic remians unchanged in comparison to the original unless stated otherwise or as a result of logical continuity within the fic.
4. - Reader needs to have at least general understanding of GuP and a Pokemon as a whole, since it won't be explained at the general part in the stort. And while I know it's GuP x Pokemon crossover, there are still people who read it only because they know one used franchise instead of both, so I don't want to hear that I 'didn't say "x".' or 'I ignored "y".'. If you don't know a specific character/Pokemon/anything, then I advise do a quick Google search, especially since I'm bad at explaining things. In addition to that, all used names are the ones in English translation with exception for Ash/Satoshi, where I'll be using the second (Directly Japanese) name purely to avoid using words with double meanings when not necessary.
5. - Pokemon moves will be taken from about every non-imaginary source possible, so while I won't be giving them new moves I will take them from every version of them for variety and originality, so don't be suprised of a specific pokemon has moves you never heard of, they just had them in very few cases, but still had them and that's what matters to me.
6. Exception for Point 5 is an OC Eeveelution that I will use in this fic, it will however appear in a bit later part of the story.
7. Entire Fic is written in a third person Narrator point of view. (Also known as Narrator pow)
8. - This fic won't have any upload frequency. As for now, it's a filler for me to let out mine creativity so I can focus on other things.
9. - If you don't like this fic, than don't read it. I'm not forcing you to keep on doing so. If you like the fic but have an objection/question/will to point out mine mistake then write about it in review, but keep in mind that it has to be outside of things covered in other points.
10. - If you want to write/do anything on a basis of this fic, go for it! No need to ask me for permission or anything else.
P. S. - Yes, the fic's title is inspired by Undertale Au trios, feel free to judge me.
If you read it all and haven't decided to abandon the Fic, then I can say that it begins now.
"So cold... Why is it so cold?" Short girl in a dark tracksuit, outfashioned grey beanie and a pair of green trainers coughed, sitting on the bench in a middle of the Kumamoto's city port with two big sport bags, waiting for the ferry to arrive, waiting for it on the outside of the ferry terminal, exposing herself to suprisingly cold for the afternoon Februar day.
"Because you didn't bother to put any jacket on yourself?" A slightly sarcastic tone responded, making her look to the right at the 6'1 boy of age roughly the same as her with strongly tanned skin, deep blue eyes, shiny black hair and several scars on his hands. His dressing match the following: White sneakers, mustard cargo pants, loose black shirt and a grey hoodie with zipper.
"And you aren't?" Girl asked him, slightly suprised at the comment from him.
"Back in my... Well, you would call it a country, but we say region. I spent a lot of time exposing myself to freezing temperatures and now I have no problem with minor cold." He added, showing her what seemed to be a badge composed of one flat and wide ice mountain followed by two slim and tall ones above it.
"What's that?" Girl asked him with confusion, looking at the shiny and unique badge, mostly because she never saw a one in her life.
"Icicle badge. A thing I obtanied alongside low temperature tolerancję back in a day." Boy responded, looking at her with polite smile as he out the badge back into his pocket. "Anyways, where are you going?" He asked, somewhat intrested in her as a person.
"Let me see..." Girl responded hesitantly, taking out the ferry ticket out of the tracksuit's pocket and reading it. "... Nowhere. Apparently I arrived here two hours late." She added with a mix of resignation and anger.
"And you need to go?..." Boy asked again, resting his arms on the railings in front of them.
"Anywhere, just, as far away from Japan and Sensha-do as possible." She responded with a hurry, almost as if she started panicking.
"Maybe I can take you with me on my cost?" Boy asked, taking two sideways steps towards her.
"... Fine, I won't be staying with my troubled parents anyway..." Girl sighed as the two turned around and walked away from the waiting board and made their way towards the ferry terminal. "Anyways, may I know your name?"
"Koume Akaboshi. What's yours?" Girl presented herself, looking at him with badly hidden gratefulness.
"Sushil Kalloe. Mother from Suriname, Father from Sinnoh." Boy responded, taking a fish stick out of his other pocket and putting it into his mouth.
"Sinnoh? What's that?" Koume asked, not as much confused as intrested in the place she never heard of.
"My father-region, given that I lack a better term... You know, a place where I obtained all my badges like the one I showed you and made a name for myself so high I can now pay for your ferry ticket without calctulating when will I recieve wire transfer to my bank account." Sushil responded, taking out a large stack of Yen from his pocket as they walked throu automatic doors into the building and made their way towards the one direct checkout with no people in front of it. "Now bucke yourself up, young lady, because the cultural shock you'll recieve will be a third biggest one you have in your life so far." He added in half-serious manner.
"Third?" Koume asked, rising her eyebrows out of suprsie.
"I learned about your accident in last Sensha-do Championship and there is always something shocking in the childhood, so it can't be a second." Sushil responded before walking away from his stunned interlocutor and ordering two tickets for the ferry. "Oh, and tanks in there are only a strategic concept, so this mark is matched by technicalities." He quickly added to her as he turned around and tilted his head in a sign for her to walk towards the departure hall after their tickets were given out by the cashier.
(One hour later)
"Ahh... Already feels like at home." Suhil smiled as he and now beanie-less Koume made their way throu the first floor of the ferry they were riding on.
"Sooo... Where is the cultural shock? Outside of the strange animals most people have here?" Koume asked him, looking around the ship at such evenements like electric spider and a flying rock with fists, making her scream on the inside about the life choices she made for the past few years.
" These animals are the cultural shock." Sushil smiled, making her face expression turn from nervous to neutrally positive.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't expect myself to react without screaming." She said, blushing slightly after a while of akward silence.
"Even if they are extremly friendly when treated by humans in a right way and are more than willing to fight for them humans against ecahother as a local equivalent of Sensha-do?" Sushil asked again, making her stop like in a instant.
"They are actually willing to do it?" Koume asked, slightly rising her tone out of nerves.
"Yes. In a same way as teenagers are to shoot eachother in a World War Two tank battles." Sushil chuckled waiting for her to move again. "Now, how about we break the rest of cultural shock and I show you what it means?"
"Hey! Looking for a battle, Mister Charity?" A rough tone sounder from the front of them, being given by a bulky bald man with a pirate-themed shirt and two random people on his sides.
"Three on three, no switches unless the opponent sends out his next pokemon after previous one faints." Sushil responded in near instant, taking out one hand-sized ball with red top, white bottom and a silver-ish line between the two halfs.
"Fair enough, I'll bet you anyway." He snarled with cocky grin before turning around and leavung them alone, his two pals following after him.
"Sure! I think you know where the arena is." Sushil smiled, looking back at Koume and giving her a hand signal to follow him.
"Pokemon? I guess that's what they are called." Koume thought, putting the pieces the information together into a single coherent view of the siutation she got herself in, putting the time of silently following Sushil to good use. "I guess I can only go forward and see what it is about, no turning back to Kuromorimine for me..."
(Ten minutes later)
"The exhibition match between Maverick Gendean and Sushil Kalloe can now begin!" Green drone with egg-like blue eyes called from above, as the two took out their pokeballs and everyone took their seats at the stands, with notabke exception of Koume who sat very far away from the other bystanders.
"Glalie, beat him up!/No pressure, Gabite" Bith challengers said, throwing in their respective first choices respectively.
"Ohhh, why do I feel so... Freaked out?" Koume thought, her hand slightly shaking as she looked down at the beginning of the battle.
"This guy doesn't seem to know about tyoe advantages! Use Frost Breath!" Maverick called out with a spark of passion as his Glaile send out an icing breath from his mouth.
"Try Slashing him for a change." Sushil commanded calmly as Gabite rushed forward into the wind, rushed through it with minor icing and slashed his opponent in the mouth, sending it backwards.
"Elemental powers are usable as weapons? That's actually scary." Koume thought, looking down at the battlefield where now Glalie tried hitting his Ice Shards into the always moving his winged arms with another Slashes.
"Stop stalling! Glalie, Bite his head!" Maverick shouted with anger, his pokemon flying forward with angry will to just crack down his opponent into the ground.
"How unfortunate, just grab him." Sushil said with disappointment as his Gabite nodded and smacked incoming Glaile with perfectly timed Tackle, pinning his to the ground under himself.
"Frost Breath!" Maverick called out with fear, his pokemon quickly sending out the freeing wind onto the Gabite's head.
"No good from you with this one." Sushil commented with a smile as Gabite's head began turing from frozen into shining a silver. "I taught him Iron Head a week ago. He added, passively looking at his partner smashing Glalie in the mouth, effectively stopping him from being an effective threat and then knocking him out before walking away back to his starting position.
"Glalie is out of bounds!" Drone Rotom informed with his robotic tone, while Maverick took his pokemon back into the ball.
"Glad to see you doing so well, buddy." Sushil said to his Gabite before the two turned around and saw a study-looking dual-winged orange moth looking at them with Maverick smiling undeneath his nose. "But I need to switch you now, everyone wants a turn after all." He added, taking Gabite back into the pokeball without a single reaction. "Fair enough, I'll give you a shot Timburr." He added, switching his pokeballs and giving a small, grey, muscular pokemon with a wooden log in hand join for the second round.
"So now it's orange moth against a superstrong ferret with weaponized plank... I really need to throw my logical senses away for this one." Koume mentally sighed before looking back at the fight down below, just as if she felt an urgent need to find a lacking piece of the puzzles known as someone's identity.
"Mothim! String Shot!" Maverick shouted, moving the open palm of his hand forward before his pokemon threw several lines of slick web out of him mouth.
"Move to side and block it!" Sushil commanded, his Timburr casually walking from side to side while taking the webbing onto his log or just knocking it to the side.
"It won't help you! Confuse him!" Bulkier trainer shouted, his Mothim following the command by pulsating circle-shaped rings from his eyes.
"Lucky me I train mine pokemon to keep up self-preservation skills." Sushil commented with neutral glare while his Timburr closed his eyes and began walking forward with his wooden log being pointed forward like a spear.
"Wait, confusion going from the eyes..." Koume thought, now rubbing her chin as she looked down at the progressively more sweaty Maverick and stoical Maken. "Right! He closed his eyes to prevent confusion. Quite a lot of nuance in here." She continued her analysis up to the moment where Mothim ended his worthless mind games only for a wooden plank to hit his face and smash him into the floor several times
"Mothim is out of bounds!" Drone Rotom proclaimed, making Timburr run back to Sushil for a instant headpats and revard snack.
"Oh come on! How did a fighting attack deal this much damage?!" Maverick shouted, throwing a tantrum as he brought back his second defeated pokemon.
"Slam is a normal type attack, your little friend didn't stood a chance against competent trainer and versitile moveset." Sushil explained, taking his Timburr back into his pokeball. "But now we need to end this, don't you agree?"
"You said it!" Maverick laughed, taking his thirs pokeball into hand. "All bets are off, Camerput!" He added, releasing a short, red camel with two volcane cones on his back and three blue circles on each side.
"Hmm, not liking these odds." Sushil said to himself, taking out a third pokeball from his pocket. "You're sure about it, Buneary?" He asked, looking down at the pokeball which twitched up and down like a spring in response.
"So pokemon hear things coming from the outside? That's quite handy." Koume thought, looking down to see Sushil taking a deep breath. "But why is he now unsure? So far he's been clearly superior to the other guy..."
"Here it comes Buneary, show me that you can!" Sushil exclaimed, pointing the pokeball towards the arena and making a brown bunny with chocolate brown and tan brown mix of fur on itself.
"Ah, finally one that wouldn't scare the living out of me when encountered in the night." Koume sighed, looking down at the already jumping Buneary and rather unamused Camerput.
"You think so low of me now?" Maverick asked with a snarl, looking forward at the shadow boxing bunny and a person behind it.
"If she wants, then who am I to stop her?" Sushil responded, giving him a careless glare." Besides, your performance so far made me think such, so no offence please."
"You're gonaa regret it!" Bulky trainer exclaimed, making a chopping the air to his left with his arm. "Camerput! Cause an earthquake!"
"RUUUUUUUUU!" His pokemon roared before stomping the ground with his frontal pair of legs, causing the ground in front of him to crack and shake.
"This pokemon can cause an earthquake?! That's very bad..." Koume shivered, looking down at Buneary more or less gracefully jumping between the cracked and unstable ground formations that went all over the arena.
"Try Quick Attack!" Sushil commanded right away, his pokemon nodding upon hearing that and rushing forward between rising stones towards it's opponent.
"Not ganna happen! Use Lava Plume!" Maverick shouted with a smile, looking up at the two car-sized dropplea of lava escaping Camerput's volcanos and exploding above him, causing the area around him to ce covered in it, alongside Buneary which got knocked back and suffered extensive burn on her front.
"Ouch, that's gotta hurt." Koume winced, looking away at the floor-to-top Glass windows behind her. "And to think they all want it... Why?" She asked herself before looking back and seeing Maverick holding a cassette with a CD inside of it.
"You know, you aren't the only one with TM training in here!" He shouted towards Sushil, who looked down at Buneary who opted to curl up with her badly burned ears in front of her face before a split second of her body turning red made her wince and wiggle from side to side. "Camerput! Use Sunny Day!" He added before his pokemon roared with happyness and the sky above the battlefield turned into a clear sky with the extremely bright Sun on top of it.
"Oh yeah, you're just gonna use Lava Plume again?" Sushil asked, rubbing his chin with a forced smile.
"No, that was my safety measure." Maverick responded, almost as if he was suprised. "Camerput, let's try Fire Spin for a change, shall we?" He asked, to which his pokemon only snorted before opening his mouth and charging his fire attack.
"I hate to say it, Buneary, but your willingness to fight has gotten you toased." Sushil said with slight remorse, making Buneary turn to him with a mix of confusion and pain on her face. "I mean, you wanted to come out even after I asked you, so please don't give me these Baby-Doll Eyes now, you'll get back to shape after it, trust me." He added, making her look around in panic for other options. "I mean, if you think you can fight it, then I won't interrupt you." He added before seeing her jumping from side to side like an overenergetic kid. "Agility? I never taught you tha-" He paused in suprise, looking up left and seeing Koume making come cryptic hand signals roughly towards him. "So that's how you wanna play, huh?" He thought, looking down to see Buneary running left and right around the flame vortex being sent at her over and over. "Alright girl! You're in charge now!" He shouted towards her before taking out a bag of bacon chips and beginning to eat them.
"How the hell is this vermin so fast?! Use Earthquake!" Maverick shouted with anger, his Camerput slamming the ground with just as much frustration.
"*Munch, munch* It's a bunny pokemon, not vermin you uncultured swine." Sushil responded, looking with amusement at Buneary which almost flew between irregular rock formations from one place to another, slowly making Camerput lose a reasonable judgement of situation around him. "That's cool and all, but how do you even communicate?" He asked himself, looking back at Koume who danced with her fingers in the air, then back at Buneary who did roughly the same move as the finger imitation of her. "The tactic requires improvement, but is a good one nothenless, I wouldn't thought of that." His thoughts continued, while his eyes observed Camerput ditching his trainer's commands and turning after a mere shadow of Buneary, which herself kept hitting him in the back and sides.
"Whatever! Just erupt and swipe it away!" Maverick yelled, his patience reaching the casual limit.
"WOOOOOOOOAAAAGGGHHH!" Camerput roared with blazing fury, his volcano cones vomiting lava up into the sky.
"Hyah!" Buneary shouted, using the split second of his distraction to kick him twice in the lower neck, making his eyes turn white and the rest of his body first go up and then roll down to the left side where it lied with closed, circled eyes and quickly solidifying lava around him.
"Camerput is out of bounds! The win goes to Sushil Kalloe!" Drone Rotom proclaimed, getting closer to terribely confused Carmaput before the latter was taken back into Maverick's pokeball.
"Sweet job in there! Guess I'm not a trainer made out for you." Sushil smiled, hiding him pokeball back into his pants pocket while Buneary run up to him and stood by his side. "Now then, how about we go looking for you little wingman?" He asked her, looking up towards the standing Koume and sending her a quick salute from where he stood.
(Five minutes later)
"Let me guess, it's just as evil as Sensha-do do?" Sushil asked, him and Buneary approacjing Koume at the side of the ship's ground level, the latter starring back at the direction they were swimming away from.
"I-I don't know, actually." She sighed, turning around to face them with a remorsefully crunched face. "I mean, drowning alongside a group of people that trust you and then being bullied into leaving the school isn't exacly comperable to burning alive and having your dreams ruined, sooo..." She paused, looking down at Buneary who opted to walk up to her and hug the legs.
"Oh, you know, she's thankful for your guidance in the last battle." Sushil explained, hiding his hands in the pockets. "Especially after I doubt her will and skill."
"Wait, you also doubt yourself?" Koume asked him, visibly suprsied.
"You know, I am still a human just like you." Sushil responded with medicore wisdom in his voice. "And therefore, I am in no way objectively better than you. Heck, nobody is objectively better than you!"
"... Thanks." Koume added, picking up Buneary and holding her in front of her stomach. "I didn't hear that much positive words since I seen Miho last time..."
"The second Nishizumi Junior I assume?" Sushil joked, making her look at him with surprise. "Despite the pokemon regions not having anything meaningful happen since halfway point of nineteen century, we still have a live connection to the outside world. So if you can then I can assure you we'll watch Kuromorimine fall in the last moment."
"How come?" Koume asked, receiving a supportive hand taking a gentle grip on her right shoulder.
"Because in the pinch your lack of strategic tunnelvision would be the only thing capable of saving them." Sushil said, taking his hand off of her. "We can even watch their matches if you want, I assure you they won't win, not without you and Miho." He paused, looking down at the happy Buenary who opted to rest her head on Koume's body. "Speaking of your capabilities, maybe you could become a pokemon trainer?"
"Huh? Why me?" She asked, slightly confused by the sudden topic switch.
"You know, you don't have a reason to go back to Japan, you're already on your way to pokemon-dominant part of the world where Sensha-do doesn't exist in the mainstream, you are six to seven years older than most people who start their pokemon adventures, which gives you a knowledge advantage at the start and last but not least a pokemon wants you without question." Sushil counted, looking at her with polite smile.
"I know, but my parents will worry a whole lot." Koume responded, only to be grabbed by the clothes and then lightly shakened by Buneary.
"Nothing blocks you from making phone calls to them." Sushil countered, showing her his smartphone. "Besides, I will give you accomodation and explain how this region works when the time comes until you learn everything there is, deal?" He asked her, extending his arm for a handshake.
"... Deal, but tell me something please." Koume responded, moving her arm forward and eventually joining her hand to the one Sushil took out.
"Go on, then." Sushil responded with confidence while Buneary climbed up on Koume's tracksuit and sat on her left shoulder.
"Why are you helping me?" She asked, lowering her eyebrows in a sign of doubt.
"You know, it's all about an idea I share with you when we get to my home." Sushil responded, pointing behind her at the incoming city buildings and a shadowy construction that resembled a steel vault of a dome in the far distance. "A wonderful idea..."
