So I was just thinking about some AUs when playing Zelda, I personally think this would be a What If events were different, according to the Zelda Timeline, if Link won then he gets sent back home and tells Zelda about the future, and in the other timeline Hyrule becomes flooded beginning Wind Waker, while if Link fails, then Ganondorf would have the full Triforce, and the events of A Link to the Past would happen, but what if Link loses and has a backup plan.
In the final battle, Link traded blow to blow with Ganondorf and Link was wounded in battle, and couldn't get up. "I knew you wouldn't defeat me." Said Ganondorf, Link struggled to get up but Ganondorf took his foot and pounded it on Link's back, "The Triforce of Courage, is mine." Zelda was released from the crystal, and Ganondorf took the Triforce of Courage, and Ganondorf pushed Zelda back and took the Triforce of Wisdom "Finally the Triforce is mine, and now who is going to stop me?" Link then spoke up "But, are you strong enough to defeat the sages?" With a smug look on his face Ganondorf then said "Of Course I am, since I have the Triforce, no one can stop me from plunging the world into darkness, not you, not Zelda, not the Sages, not even the Goddesses." Link then said "But the legend says that whoever gets the Triforce..." He jabbed the Master Sword on Ganondorf's Leg and he was put to his knees and Link said "Gets to decide the fate of Hyrule, and 1 wish shall be granted." then Ganondorf said "Indeed, but how are you still standing." Link just barely stood up and coughed "Because with the power of my friends, I am able to defeat you." Link then cut Ganondorf's hand off, and he groaned in excruciating pain the Triforce left him and went to Link "That is why I am going to bring a brighter future to Hyrule, not only for myself, but for Zelda, the Sages, and the rest of Hyrule." Ganondorf then said "You Bastard, I will never forgive you." as Ganondorf was about to launch another Lightning blast, Zelda stopped him by holding him down "If that is what you want, then I will help you Link."
Link made his wish "Triforce, take me home.." he Coughed out Blood, "I want a better future for Hyrule, not only me, but Zelda, my close friend Saria, my sworn brother Darunia, my dear Ruto, Zelda's guardian Impa, and my new friend Nabooru." the Triforce glowed and a great big flash started glowing then all of a sudden Ganondorf was disappearing "Wait...No...No..." He said and he screamed until he completely vanished never to be seen again Link fell down to the ground, and Zelda held him in her arms, "Link, I'm Sorry...I'm sorry that I had to make you do this." Link held Zelda's hand and said "There's no need to apologize, I am sorry that I couldn't help the ones I love so dearly." He Coughed and said "Now once we disappear from this timeline forever, we will wake up all the way back from the beginning of our journey." he handed out the Ocarina of Time and Zelda held onto it, "Zelda can you play 1 more song for me?" Link said Zelda looked at Link's legs and saw that they were fading away, "I will...Farewell Link...see you on the other side." as her legs were disappearing she took the Ocarina placed the mouthpiece into her mouth and played her Lullaby.
As the fading went to Link's Waist his hands were fading away alongside Zelda's the song continued until the fading went to their heads Link gave one last smile to Zelda and once the song was completed, Link and Zelda completely disappeared never to be seen again, back when everything started all over, Zelda woke up in her bed, and questioned herself "Where Am I?" she looked at herself young in a Nightgown, and in the mirror she saw a young girl, she touched her face and said "Am I Home?" she then got dressed in her Princess Gown, and ran to the Throne Room, noticing that the guards were wearing steel suits with firearms with them, when she got there, she looked that her father was there, "Ah Zelda, you're awake." she then said "Father I'd like to ask you a question?" the King then said "What is it?" Zelda then spit it out "Are you going to meet with the Gerudo King Ganondorf?" The King then said "What are you talking about? There is no Gerudo King Ganondorf." She questioned herself "What's going on?" the King then said "The Gerudo Prince is coming for a Visit." Zelda then said "I'm Sorry, but just give me a moment." she ran out of the Throne Room the King was confused "What is going on with her?"
In the Castle Courtyard she said "What on earth happened?" she then overheard the guards, "You saw the green clothed kid we took into Custody?!" One of them said "Yeah, can you believe the look on his face when he kept saying that he is perfectly innocent?!" She then went out and then saw someone coming it looked just like her "Guards, I want you to come with me, the prisoner won't talk about where he came from, and won't tell him about a Dark Force." the Guards went with her, and then she snuck behind them, and kept up with the Guards and the Princess that looks like her.
When they entered an Airship, Zelda followed them on the Airship, and hid in a Crate she hasn't seen before, and it had Firearms piled up, she thought to herself "Where Am I?!" When they docked, onto land, Zelda tried to get out, she said "This won't be easy." But she heard gunfire, and hid, a few young men with Scarves, Boots, Gloves, and Blue Uniforms raided the ship, and stole everything, "We Got every single bit of Equipment, and Supplies, let's go!" one of them said, Zelda ran out of the Cargo Area before she got caught by the thieves, she then ran off the ship before it flew off, she saw someone come, it was the other Zelda "Hey! Come Back This Instant!" she shouted, and then Zelda made a break for it when they chased after it, and the guards opened fire, she entered the Prison and then they said "Ah Princess Zelda, back so soon? and what are you doing in that ridiculous outfit." Zelda then said "Never Mind that, I wish to see the Green Clothed Man again." the Guard said "Perfect Timing, come with us." she went over to the cells, and all the prisoners were calling Zelda derogatory names.
She found Link in a Prison Cell, she said "Link! Link!" Link then put his head up and said "Zelda? Is that you?" Zelda then said "Yes Link, what happened?" Link then said "Well I woke up and when I came out of the House, the Forest was completely different, but guards with weird armor arrested me before they heard me out, I was tried, convicted and slapped with a lifetime life sentence." Zelda then said "Why?" Link then said "Because I have a Dark Force within me...I think it must be Ganondorf." Zelda then said "Ganondorf is still alive?" Link then said "Probably, but not physically, I don't know but you said that the Triforce can grant anyone their desires, and the fate of Hyrule." he then said "That Zelda that I met was completely different, I thought it was you but since you are here, I now know what would happen if I wasn't there on my quest to make Hyrule a better place, as it turns out it turned into a worse place." the guards then said "Alright, Visiting Hours are over, come on Princess." she turned and said "I gotta go." Link then said "Run Zelda, find the Ocarina of Time, break me out, and we can go home." Zelda then said "I will, I promise."
She left the Prison, and got encountered by the other Princess Zelda "Well, Well, Well, what have we here?" Zelda got restrained and she said "It looks like we got an Impostor on our hands." As she was about to give an order, Gunfire happened and the Guards were taken out, but a Barrier guarded the other Zelda "You've Interrupted my Interrogation!" she turned and said "But it won't happen again." she pushed the rebels back, and then choked one to death giving Zelda time to run away, she then said "Where do you think you're going?" she captured Zelda in a Light Force, she noticed that she has the full Triforce, she took her to a cell and then said "Get in there and stay there." She walked away.
But then she noticed that she had a Prison Mate, who is a Bird like Man "So you got caught by the Princess too huh?" She then said "What Are You, are you a Talking Bird Like Man?" The Bird like man said "I happen to be a Rito, you didn't know that, Imposter?" Zelda then said "How were you a..." the Rito then said "My Ancestor Queen Ruto married a Hylian and 100 Years Later one of the decendants became a new race, known as the Rito." Zelda then said "What's your name?" The Rito then said "I'm Soran, the Rito Chief's son, I was going to become the new Chief but the King invaded my home and threw me in here." she then said "How long was that ago?" Soran then said "It was a Week ago, I'm scheduled to be executed in a few weeks." Zelda heard some beeping "Do you hear something?" Soran then said "Get Down there's an Explosive!" He grabbed her and a Wall exploded a Goron with the same suit as those thieves came in and then said "Follow Me!" the Goron rolled over to the Airship, Soran followed, Zelda also followed.
When they got in the Airship, Soran then said "Hang on tight Kid." the Goron went over to a Zora and said "We got the Prince, and another Prisoner." The Zora then said "Alright let's get out of here." He pressed a few buttons, the Ship launched, and they escaped from the Prison, Meanwhile in a base the 2nd in Command called "Did you get the Rito Prince?" he said, the Pilot then said "Yes, and while recovering him we actually found another Prisoner, what should we do to her." The 2nd in Command then said "Is it Princess Zelda?" the Zora then said "No, it's a person pretending to be her." the 2nd in Command then said "We'll need to question her, bring them both back here." the Pilot then said "Yes Sir." They flew over to somewhere else.

Author's Message: So I decided to make an incarnation of Zelda a villain because I want this story to be a little more unique and interesting, and added in other races from the Zelda Series because come on, there's more races than Gorons, Zoras, and Gerudos, once the story's done being written, I'm thinking about making this a comic, it's not guaranteed since I don't know how to make a Comic.
