So, this is the part of the chapter where I give a little info, so today, we're starting with the names of the characters, starting with the children of the Winx. How I came up with them.

Bloom and Sky: It's easier if I start with their youngest, Heaven. Heaven came from the idea of where Heaven is believed to be, it's in the Sky, so she's sort of named for her dad. And, Angel falls into the same idea, though not as direct. Bud came from an Episode in the third season where Bloom was trying to get her Enchantix and met a little dragon. I don't know if they changed the name, but the dragon was named Buddy. On top of that, if you think about flowers, a bud will bloom into a flower, connecting him to his mom.

Stella and Brandon: Brandon Jr I think needs no explanation, he's straight up named for his dad. Celeste, I kind of just liked, plus Fairy of sun, celestial being. It's kind of a stretch. Then there are the triplets, Chandra, Selena, and Artemis. They are fairies of the different phases of the moon. Chandra is the Hindu goddess of the moon, Artemis is the Greek goddess of the moon, and Selene (Selena) is the Greek embodiment of the moon.

Aisha and Nex: Charm… well, I wanted to give him a name pertaining to magic as he was the first son I decided to give magic to. Brandon and Mech don't have magic, and I'm still on the fence about Bud. Second, the "I'm just an I-N-G away from being your Prince Charming" came to me and I had to use it.

Techna and Timmy: Mech, as in mechanical. I wanted him to be less about the technology and more about the physical.

Flora and Helia: Daisy and Violet… both flowers. Daisies are white and yellow, as such, Daisy is the fairy of flowers. Violets are a darker flowering weed, and Violet has darker powers, and is the fairy of weeds.

And then there is Musa, who has no kids (as of yet. I still have time to change that, but it will be the youngest of the group).

But wait, we have…

Daphne and Thoren: Phillip and Helena… I literally just picked the names. Phillip probably from watching Sleeping Beauty. And Helena… literally no deep thought went into that.

I'll go into the names about the different Vixen characters for the next chapter.

Episode 11: The Dragonlaria Ingredients

After the collapse of the dam and Emma's miraculous save, life in Magix had returned to normal. Trend was looking for new ideas and materials for her fashion line. Kaida dove into full cram mode as midterms were approaching. Emma was using all her spare time to practice her weapons skills in the courtyard, which had become a favorite activity for other fairies to watch. Avery was giving herself a little extra time to meditate and practice yoga to keep herself calm. Angel was on Cloud Nine after her date with Brandon. Finally, Cicada had been busy exploring the nearby nature for time to talk with different insects that didn't come to Alfea.

Life at Alfea seemed perfect.

Until the whole school was awoken one morning to an ear-shattering scream.

Emma was the first to slam open the door to Cicada and Kaida's shared room, but jumped back, knocking into Angel, Avery, and Trend a few steps behind her, causing all four to fall.

"Get it off me! Get it off me! Get it off meee!" Kaida screamed, tears falling from her eyes. Cicada's praying mantis, Maddie, was on Kaida's chest. At the girl's screaming, it just cocked its head.

Cicada, on the other bed, groaned. "Can you keep it down?" she asked in an oddly quiet voice for the spirited Insectus fairy. "I've got a killer headache."

"Cicky! Get your mantis off me!" Kaida screamed. She began to scream again as Maddie started to walk closer to Kaida's face. The fairy from Draco hadn't even noticed the spiders wandering around the room.

Cicada opened her eyes, just a bit. "Maddie, how did you get there?" She asked. Her antennae grew from her head, but they were drooping, and despite their wiggling, Maddie didn't respond. Cicada began coughing quickly after trying.

"What is happening in here?" Griselda's voice cut through the suite, noticing the four fairies staying outside of one room.

"Cicada's insects have gone haywire," Angel said.

Griselda looked in the room, then sighed. "Spiders are not insects, Angel," she said, as if that had been the point. "They are arachnids."

"Spiders?" Kaida gasped.

Emma sighed. "Cicada, if I get bitten, I'm going to start squashing," the green fairy said before walking inside, emerald shoes forming over her feet between two steps. She held out a hand and ushered Maddie onto her hand. As soon as she stepped away from Kaida, the short fairy jumped from her bed and was outside her room in a moment.

Griselda frowned from where she stood just outside the room. "Considering your current state, you will be excused from classes today, Cicada," she said. "I will send Ophelia to check on you later." She frowned even more. "Are any of you other girls feeling sick?"

"Sick, sick, so sick," Kaida said trembling in the middle of the room. "I need a shower."

Griselda glanced at Kaida before turning to Avery, Angel and Trend.

"I'm fine," Angel said.

"Same here," Avery said.

"Our friend is ill, how are you fine?" Trend asked, her green eyes wide.

"Physically," Emma said walking out of Cicada's room, one butterfly walking around in her haif. "We are physically fine."

"Well, good to know we don't have an epidemic on our hands," Griselda said. "I'll go inform Headmistress Faragonda."

"Miss Griselda, Miss Griselda," Saffron appeared in the doorway. "Canary is very sick."

After a sweep of the school, it was found that more than a few girls were sick. Angel was devastated to find that her cousin, Helena, who was just in for exams, was among them, along with both of Helena's roommates. What hit the school the hardest was the find out Faragonda was sick as well, having been found passed out in her office.

"Girls, this epidemic is through all of Magix," Griselda told the five healthy members of Vixen. "We're coordinating with the other schools to find out what this is, but the symptoms are… erratic at best."

"It could be a number of things," Kaida said. She looked different, wearing one of Angel's dresses as she refused to go back into her own room until all the spiders were back in their jars.

"Yes," Griselda agreed. "It could even be different diseases for different patients. But, we're convening at Red Fountain to figure out what it is."

"It's Dragonlaria," Saladin said when the girls arrived at Red Fountain. Three ships were already in the courtyard ready to go. "But, we need to collect the ingredients for the cure. Most are found easily in shops here, but there are a few rarer ingredients."

"How does one contract Drangonlaria?" Emma asked.

"Close contact with someone that is already sick," Saladin said. "Or get bitten by an infected mosquito."

"Think of it as a mosquito with rabies," Charm said.

"Where's Trine?" Trend asked, noticing that his teammates were there, but he wasn't. Phillip's team was there as well.

"He's sick, Trend," Marvel said.

Immediately, her eyes filled with tears, so Marvel pulled her into a hug.

"We'll be sending out three teams for the ingredients," Saladin said. "And, we'll need as much as you can get."

"You know you can just send us, and we'll be back in an hour," Jake said with a smirk. He glanced at the girls, then leaned toward Trend. "But, if you'd like to see real Heroes in action, you're welcome to come along."

"We're dividing you based on skills," Codatorta said. "Brandon, Marvel, and Phillip, you three will each pilot a team. Brandon and Marvel, you are to stay in the ships when you arrive as there will be no place to land. As such, Marvel, you will have Charm, Avery, and Kaida with you. You'll be getting the Crystalline Coral. Brandon, you will be taking Emma, Trend, and Jake for the Anticallica spider webbing."

"If there is no where to land, shouldn't I have Angel instead of Jake?" Brandon asked. "Jake cannot fly."

"There is an island, but it is heavily forested," Saladin said.

"Finally, Phillip, Arc, and Angel will go for the Dragon egg shells and scales," Codatorta said.

Brandon's eyes flicked to Angel. "Arc, Phillip, and Jake are a team," he said. "Wouldn't it make sense to put the three of them together as they're already used to working together?"

Codatorta turned to Saladin. "He does have a point," he said.

"But Jake doesn't have a natural defense against a dragon's fire," Saladin said. "Having hailed from Domino, Archimedes has a natural defense. Phillip is of the royal family there. And Angel has the Dragon's Flame."

"As it is, the Anticallica spiders are impervious to magic attacks," Griselda said. "Emma and Jake will be with Trend to defend her while she gathers the webs."

"Ew," Trend said.

"You also may be able to replicate it," Griselda added.

"Cicada is bug girl," Charm said.

"Yes," Griselda said. "But spiders make their webs from silk." She turned to Trend. "If you can replicate the silk, exactly, then you are to get out of there fast."

"Either way, you all need to be fast," Saladin said. "Trine, Faragonda, Cicada, and many others are counting on you."

"No witches to help?" Charm asked.

"Griffin is headed here with cauldrons and ingredients," Saladin said. "They will have the medicines mostly made by the time you return."

Everyone nodded and headed to their assigned ships.

"Hey, this will be our first mission together," Phillip said, slinging his arm around Angel's shoulders. "Could be fun."

"You say that," Angel said. "But, we need to focus, Phillip. Friends are sick. Including Helena and her friends."

"Yeah," Phillip said, leaning close to her. "Don't tell Arc. He'll be distracted if he knows."

Angel nodded. She glanced over to the other ships before she boarded, and smiled at Brandon. She could tell he was acting a little weird, but she just attributed it to his worry. They didn't know if any of them would get sick while out.

Marvel punched the coordinates into his navigation system after he was already in the air. "I'm just going to hover once you guys disembark," he said, glancing back at the other three. He pressed a few buttons, and the ship sped up. He knew why he was to stay in the ship.

"So, we'll have to keep an eye out for eels," Kaida said. "The Crystalline coral is easily distinguished by it's sheer shading." She looked up from the tablet she was holding. "It's intermixed with the regular coral, so keep an eye out."

"When we get there, I'll equip us with Morphix air bubbles so we can stay under for a while," Charm said.

"We're about ten minutes out," Marvel said, though his Nav system said it was more. He, however, could navigate faster than the system. The system told him to go around a mountain range, but the more direct route was through it. "Though, you might want to take seats and buckle in."

"Why's that?" Avery asked, walking closer to him, even though both Charm and Kaida heeded his advice.

"Because he's about to turn the navigation off and do some crazy manual flying," Charm said.

"How crazy can it be?" Avery asked. "In case you've forgotten, I've been on the back of a Wind Rider that Trine was driving."

"Good, so you know how Marvel is about the fly this ship," Charm said.

Avery let out a little laugh. Then looked at Marvel. "He's joking, right?"

"You are going to want to hold tight," Marvel said with a charming smile. Suddenly, the ship was moving faster and spinning on its axis. Avery grabbed the only thing she could reach, which happened to be Marvel's chair. Looking out the windows, she noticed they were barely avoiding brushing up against mountain peaks on either side. He righted the ship and dipped it low under an ice cap. Then on the side, going the other way. This continued on for a couple of minutes, as Marvel navigated the jutting mountain peaks before diving into a canyon. The canyon had less turns, so Marvel kept the ship even, allowing Avery time to take a seat and buckle.

"I did warn you," Marvel said, glancing at her for a moment.

"Please keep paying attention, Marvel," Kaida said.

"We're good," Marvel said, raising the ship up, out of the canyon. "We're just about there."

Avery sighed seeing they had made it to the sea. "Just one minute to the coordinates."

"Ew, ew, ew," Trend kept chanting as she used an emerald stick to gather the silk threads of the spiders.

"Yeah, we get it," Jake said, slicing though a particularly large spider. "It's gross."

Emma slammed down on a group of spiders with an emerald mallet. "Can you replicate the silk or not?"

"I could if I had Cicada here to converge with," Trend said. "But not on my own." She put the stick into her bag. "I need another stick."

Emma thrust an emerald wand behind her. "Here," she said. "Get more."

Trend nodded. "This is for Cicada," she began chanting as she gathered more webbing. "This is for Cleo. This is for Faragonda. This is for Trine." Suddenly, she realized that she had gotten all the webbing in the area. "Time to go."

"She's not kidding," Jake said as a giant spider began approaching.

"Fly, Trend," Emma yelled as the girl had begun to run. "Straight up, out of the trees."

"What about you?" Trend asked.

"We're right behind you," Emma said. She reached out and grabbed one of Jake's hands. "If you have a blaster, now is the time to use it," she said, kicking off the ground.

"Blasters are for cowards," Jake said. "I don't even like using this sword." He looked up at her. "Hey, watch out!"

"What?" Emma asked but suddenly, she flew into a thick web. It immediately coated her wings. Jake grabbed a tree branch as their weight ripped through the web.

"Don't stop flying, fairy," Jake said.

"I can't," Emma said. "This stuff is sticking to my wings."

Jake growled, rolling his eyes. "Okay, then, we need to get to the edge of the island," he said.

"You think," Emma snapped, giving him a quick glare.

"Why are all these eels coming at us?" Avery asked as she blasted at one of the electric eels that was attacking them. She found out very quickly that her pure Excalibur energy didn't work too well under water.

"They seem to think we're food," Charm said. He shot at one with his Morphix, but didn't see the one behind him. He let out a loud cry as he was shocked.

"Charm!" Avery called out, swimming to him quickly. She grabbed him and began pulling him toward the ship. She got her head above water. "Marvel!"

Marvel appeared at the opened hatch. "What happened?"

"Eels," Avery said. She used her magic to lift Charm to the opened hatch, but dropped him when she felt something wrap around her ankle and pull her down.

"Avery!" Marvel yelled. He caught Charm and pulled him into the ship. A moment later, he dove into the water, a rope wrapped around his waist. Avery was trying to shoot a squid that had caught her. Marvel looked over and saw that Kaida was surrounded by eels. He pulled out his sword and sliced through the squid's tentacles.

"Marvel, get back to the ship," Avery said. "You don't have a air bubble."

Marvel smiled at her, but swam to the surface. After taking a breath, he dove back in to help gather some of the coral. Avery handed him a few pieces, then went to try to help Kaida.

One of the eels, attacked Kaida, and the fairy was expecting to pass out, expected to be electrocuted, but instead, she felt charged. She yelled, her fireworks shooting through the water, scaring the eels away. She turned around to see Avery.

"Those work down here?" Avery asked.

"I guess so," Kaida said. "We don't have time to waste."

The two swam down and started collecting as much coral as they could. Neither noticed the figure hidden among the seaweed watching them.

Angel, Phillip, and Arc were the first three to return. They explained how the dragon had been heart-broken as most of her eggs had been destroyed. Angel had used her powers to reawaken the two eggs left, and the dragon allowed them to take a few scales and the broken egg shells of the newly hatched dragons. That was after they played with the baby dragons for a few minutes.

It was a few minutes later that Marvel's ship arrived. Charm was just recovering, Marvel helping him out of the ship. Kaida and Avery brought out all the crystalline coral they had gathered.

All three ingredients were prepared by the witches there while they waited for the final ship.

"Why is Bryony here for?" Angel asked Avery and Kaida. "I can't imagine she's too eager to help."

"She's probably here to provide some form of venom or poison," Kaida said. "Surprisingly, many actually have healing properties, if used correctly."

"Bryony," Griffin approached the brooding witch. "That toxin we spoke of, please." She held up a vial.

"I'm only doing this because Ebony is sick in bed and burning up," Bryony said, hold out an elongated finger nail and dripping the contents in.

"We're just waiting on the last group with the webbing," Saladin said.

"Couldn't that Insectus Fairy replicate the webbing?" Griffin asked.

"If she was't sick in bed with her spiders crawling all over the school, then probably," Griselda said.

The ship appeared in the distance a moment later. But, something was off. They could hear Trend yelling as it began to slow to land. And when the latch opened, Trend was almost screaming at Brandon.

"What did you do, stop for donuts?" Bryony asked, laughing a bit.

"Wait, where are Emma and Jake?" Angel asked.

"He left them!" Trend screamed, pointing at Brandon.

"We're on a time limit," Brandon said. "I had to make a call when they didn't follow Trend out of the forest."

"You didn't even try to wait for them," Trend cried. "You closed the hatch and flew off. We have to go back. We have to go back now!"

Marvel took the bag of webbing from her hands and tossed it to Codatorta. "Come on, I'll fly," he said, motioning to his ship.

"I can fly back just fine," Brandon argued.

"No, Brandon, you stay," Angel said as others piled into Marvel's ship. "You've done enough." With that she walked into the ship and closed the hatch before Brandon could follow.

"Hang tight," Marvel said. "We're flying fast." With that, he shot the ship to it's top speed. Phillip jumped into the co-pilot seat as even Marvel couldn't pilot alone at that speed.

"Everyone ready?" Phillip asked as they spotted the island in the distance.

"Remember, the spiders are impervious to magic attacks," Kaida said. "So, physical attacks work best."

"They're really gross and really big," Trend said.

"When we get there, I want you girls to fly above it to find them before we enter the forest," Phillip said. "When spotted, you girls stay over-head. Arc and I will get them to the shore and you can pick us up from there."

"Not likely," Angel said. "Emma is our friend and if you think that we're going to leave her alone—"

"This isn't child's play, Angel," Phillip said sternly. "Now, I know you are worried—"

"Of course I'm worried," Angel yelled. "My friend got left on an island infested with giant spiders. Friends are sick and we don't know if we got them the ingredients for the cure fast enough. Helena is sick right now, so I can't tell her all my problems like I usually do."

"Then let us do our job," Arc said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "We'll get your friend and Jake out of there so you have one less worry, okay?"

"He's right, Angel," Marvel said. "Drop these two in there and they'll get Emma out in minutes." The ship slowed and stopped over the island.

"Fan out and find them from above," Avery said and the four fairies jumped out, flying four different directions.

Overhead, it was hard to spot anything but giant spiders and webbing. On top of that, with Emma being green, she blended into the greenery of the trees. Then Angel spotted something that seemed odd. A whole lot of spiders congregating on a single spot. As she lowered a little, she noticed that there was an emerald dome in the center that the spiders were trying to break through.

"Over here!" She yelled, before shooting a few fireballs at the spiders. The spiders hardly seemed to notice, though a few smaller ones were knocked down.

A moment later, Phillip and Arc dropped from the ship, each with a sword in hand. Angel, Avery, Kaida, and Trend all gathered to watch. Each of the two specialists clearly knew what they were doing. Arc was easily knocking spiders back and Phillip used his limited powers to keep them back until Emma opened the dome. Once all three of the Specialists were out, they circled an annoyed Emma, but it was evident that the three knew what they were doing and didn't need to speak to understand one another.

"Emma, grab on!" Trend called out, dropping a thick ribbon to the girl. Once Emma had grabbed the ribbon and wrapped it around her arm so she wouldn't drop, the four others all pulled her up until she was high enough that they could grab her arms. Kaida and Avery flew her to the ship.

"It got this webbing stuff on my wings," Emma said, motioning to her fluttering wings that were clearly unable to fly.

"We gotta help the boys," Avery said. However, by the time she was out of the ship again, the three had made it to shore. Angel and Trend had grabbed Jake's arms to carry him up and Phillip had Arc. They landed on the ship and then sighed in relief.

"Did you guys really leave us behind?" Jake questioned Trend, pointing a finger in the Popularian Princess's face.

"Hey, back off her," Marvel said, defending his sister. "It wasn't her. It was Brandon. Take it up with him when we get back."

"Isn't he your friend?" Jake questioned.

"Usually," Marvel said. He shook his head. "I don't know what he was thinking."

When they returned. Brandon and Charm were waiting for them. As the hatch opened, they noticed Trine walking out the doors of the building. He didn't look perfect, but it was obvious that he wasn't sick as he had been when they left.

"Trine!" Trend called out, and she and Angel ran to greet him and they both threw their arms around him. The others followed, though not with the same speed, greeting him.

"Angel, can we talk?" Brandon asked.

Angel eyed him. "Okay," she said and the two walked away from the group. "First, how could you leave Jake and Emma?"

"I knew they could defend themselves," Brandon said. "But, we needed to get the webbing back. I had every intention to go back for them when they didn't come out of the forest."

"You should never have left them in the first place, Brandon," Angel said.

"Please, Angel," Brandon said, reaching out to take her hands. "Believe me. I was going to go back."

Angel looked at him for a moment, then nodded. "I believe you," she said. "You just didn't seem to be in a hurry."

"I didn't want anyone to panic," he said. "That was the last thing we needed." He stepped close and bent his head down. "They barely finished the medicine in time to get it to a few of the sick. I hear a few of the girls at Alfea were minutes away from the point of no return."

Angel stared him in the eye for a moment, but then turned her eyes away. "Still," she said. "We could have lost them." She turned away from him. "I need a few days, okay."

"I'll call you tomorrow," Brandon said.

"No," she said. "You wait for me to call you." With that, she walked away back to the group of people. When she spoke to Trine, she didn't see Brandon narrow his eyes.

And, it will literally be easier to say what stayed the same than changes… so, what stayed the same.

1: Cicada got sick and Kaida freaked out due to Maddie the mantis on her chest upon waking up.

2: There was a mission for ingredients.

3: Some of the actual ingredients.

Literally, everything else changed. For example, the boys going on the mission. Splitting up into three groups for different places for ingredients. How they traveled to get ingredients. Someone getting left behind. Eels, Phillip's team, the witches helping in any way, Brandon being a whiny brat (though that goes back to his date with Angel and having a love potion slipped into his drink).
