Rober Baratheon King of the Seven Kingdoms sat on his throne and looked at his royal guards, he couldn't help but grow in frustration.
He had ordered one of the servants to bring him his hammer and while normally no one would have been allowed to even approach him past a certain point he allowed the boy to do so.
He looked at the hammer in his hand and let it fall, he picked it up again and did it again, the sound of his hammer hitting the metal of the many swords that his throne was made of echoed through the throne room.
he could feel it in his blood something had changed, he didn't know what it was, but something deep inside him had awakened, and was disgusted at what he had become.
"Ping"-ping-ping-ping-ping" over and over again his hammer hit the swords beneath it each time filling his blood with fury, fury that was directed at the king who now sat on the throne.
He could feel his rage that at one point in his life had spilled and carried him through the rebellion and the many battles of his youth.
That rage was directed at the foolish boy that he was.
"Ping" he blinked and found himself standing in a forest one that seemed familiar yet he could not recognize it, he didn't care for his surroundings but what he did care for was the massive Stag that stood before him.
The creature towered over him and seemed to glare at him, Robert could see that the beast had been wounded in battle and was dying from its injuries, and yet the beast refused to die like this.
No, if it was going to die then it would die killing whatever wanted to eat it.
Robert looked at the antlers of the beast and he found it had what looked like scales hanging from it, but they weren't the only things hanging from the antlers of the beast.
Robert could see the fur of a wolf and he felt his heart ackeashe realised something that he should have known years ago.
The brown stag seemed to grow in size as the sounds of lions coming closer surrounded both him and the beast.
The Stag was now white and plump yet its power had not been lost.
"How long?" Robert asked the beast his answer came when he saw three lion cubs happily rubbing themselves on the stag's legs, they acted as if the beast was their mother.
Robert realized the truth and as his rage overwhelmed him, he found himself being lifted from the ground by the beast's antlers when he managed to look past the accursed thing he found that the beast was glaring at him, with the same fury that it once glared at the fat king who in his place.
He stared into the beast's eyes and listened to the cries of several young deer whom he couldn't see.
Robert felt his anger leave him and as the deer lowered him to the ground he found the cubs were now running around his feet.
Robert turned to look at the Deer but he found that it was now gone and in its place was his hammer.
He was tempted to crush the cubs with it, but when that thought entered his mind he imagined himself being killed by the stag's antlers.
Seven Hells the Cubs were his, he had been there the day that they were born, Granted he was drunk everytime but he was there and he had held each of them until they were able to run and explore the castle.
'Ping" he heard his hammer hitting the swords beneath it. "Ping"
Once again he was sitting on the accursed throne and once again his eyes focused on his guards.
"Lannister!" he says to his brother-in-law who turns and looks at him with a surprised look on his face.
'Tell me everything about that day, the day that you killed the Mad King, and don't hide anything or I'll kill you myself." he ordered his brother-in-law.
"Ping" He listened to the man as he told him about the Mad King's plan to burn everything in King's Landing, how the Mad King had ordered his brother-in-law to kill and present him, his father inlaws head.
"You are no longer a part of my Kings Guard, I need someone to get me back into shape," he says to Jaime Lannister who begins to beg him not to do this.
He can't stand the man's groveling, as he tells him that he had to kill the Mad King.
'I know that you fool, but after what I just heard, I can't have you here. Go home when I'm back in fighting condition and reclaim the honor that you lost." he orders Jaime.
"My King." his brother-in-law protests.
'The fat king is gone, and Robert Baratheon has finally woken up, if you have time to complain then go and fetch the Coin, tell him that I need to see him" he orders his brother-in-law.
"Ping" Robert looked at his royal guard and listened to his hammer hitting the swords beneath it.
