I DONT OWN DIGIMON: DIGITAL MONSTERS! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND THE OC ALONE!

Shoutouts:

"Flower Cannon!" shouted Lillymon, firing her attack at Myotismon, but it does nothing on him.

"Do you expect to beat me with germaniums? Nightmare Claw!" bellowed Myotismon as he sends a claw made of shadows at Lillymon, causing her to scream in pain and lose her color.

"Lillymon!" screamed Mimi as she watches her Ultimate level Digimon fall to the platform above her where Sora and Toshiko were.

"Get out of here, Sora! Now!" said Toshiko.

"But what about you, Mom?" asked Sora.

"Just go!" Toshiko ordered her daughter, getting her to safety.

"Grizzly Wing!" shouted Myotismon as he sends his bats at Lillymon.

"Oh no, they're going to get her." Mimi cried out as Birdramon takes off into the air.

"Meteor Wing!" screeched Birdramon as she fires her attack at the bats, destroying them as she swoops down and grabs Lillymon.

"Sora, get out!" said Mimi. "He's way too strong."

"What are you waiting for?! Get away you…you things! Sora, go!" said Toshiko. Sora then makes her decision and takes off, jumping off the platform and onto Birdramon's foot as she takes off. "I'll come back as soon as I find the others. Don't worry, Mom." said Sora.

"Let me go! Let me go!" shouted Toshiko as two sets of Bakumon took her and Mimi away.

Meanwhile at the unfinished building. "Poor Agumon. You're always getting beat up." said Kari as she and Felicity were bandaging up the orange dinosaur's paw. "There, how does that feel?"

"You're getting good at this." said Agumon as the Kamiya twins laughed.

"She had a lot of practice on me, Agumon." said Keiko, smiling at him and Renamon.

"I'm glad that you have someone like her, Keiko." said Renamon.

"Me too." said Keiko, smiling at Kari who then smiles in return.

"No way!" Tai exclaimed behind them, causing Kari, Keiko, Agumon and Renamon to look over at them.

"Way. It's true." said Matt. "I saw the whole thing."

"That creepazoid! He's cut off the whole entire district." said Tai.

"Mm-hmm. It's that crazy fog bank of his." said Matt.

"This is insane. Holding thousands of people prisoner just so that he could find the 9th child." said Tai.

"And there's no telling what he'll do if he doesn't find her." said Matt and Tai kicks a can in anger before he sits down on a bench.

"This is all my fault, isn't it?" Kari asked softly, making the two boys look up at her as Keiko stood next to her with Renamon behind her. "It's all happening because he's looking for me, right? That's why mom and dad and everybody are…."

"Kari…" said Keiko.

"Now, don't say that. It's not your fault. It's the way things are. It's called destiny." said Tai, walking over to the twins and placed a hand on each of their shoulders. "Don't either of you worry. I'm gonna bring back Mom and Dad home safe and your little buddy, Gatomon too."

He chuckled as he tried to lift the mood and turns around to face Matt. "Hey, Matt. Do me a favor and look after the twins till I get back." said Tai.

"Uh, sure. No problem." Matt said.

"Keiko, I need you and Renamon to help Matt. I know I can count on the both of you to protect Kari." said Tai.

"You got it, Tai." said Keiko.

"We'll protect her." said Renamon as Tai turns to Kari.

"Kari, I need you to be a big strong girl for me while I'm away." said Tai.

"Okay, please be careful." said Kari.

"Hey, aren't I always?" Tai asked, giving his sisters a thumb's up as his digivice started beeping. "Ok, its 7:30. Give me two hours. If we don't make it back by then, you guys get out of here. Let's go, Agumon."

"Ok!" said Agumon.

"Be careful, man!" Matt called out.

"See ya soon! Everything's gonna be all right!" said Tai before he tripped and fell down the stairs, Agumon close behind him.

"I hope so." said Kari and Keiko as the younger twin shakes her head at their clumsy older brother. At the Izumi residence, Izzy was in his room and opens his laptop. "Look, an email from Gennai." said Izzy.

"Greetings. Salutations from cyberspace." said Gennai.

"Oh, get to the point." said Tentomon, frustrated.

"But this is no time for pleasantries. You're in a tight spot, eh? First thing to do is put up a digital barrier." said Gennai.

"A digital what?" asked Izzy.

"You're probably wondering what that is. Well, download the program and I'll explain." said Gennai. "If you can put up in time, the digital barrier will protect you."

Meanwhile, Tentomon looks outside Izzy's window to see Bakemon rounding up people in the neighborhood. "Oh, the Bakumon are getting closer every second. Can't you go any faster, Izzy?" Tentomon asked.

"I'm trying. I told dad I needed a quicker modem." said Izzy. Meanwhile at the pier, a huge crowd of people were waiting for the boats.

"We're sorry, but because of fog conditions, no ferries will be running to the district until further notice." said a worker through a megaphone.

"What do we do in the meantime?" asked a man in the crowd.

"Please bear with us, we're doing everything we can. Just have to wait for the fog to lift." said the worker. In the crowd, Nancy, T.K. and Patamon were trying to catch a boat to get into the district.

"I'm getting a bad feeling from this crowd. I think maybe we should get going, T.K." said Nancy.

"Hey, what do you suggest I do? My family is in there." said a man.

"Mine too." said a woman. Just then, the crowd starts to push forward, separating T.K. from his mom.

"Please stay calm." said the worker.

"You stay calm." said a man.

"Yeah." another man said.

"In cases of emergency, you might try renting a private boat down at the harbor. That's all I can suggest for now." said the worker. T.K. held onto Patamon as he looks up into the crowd.

"Mommy?" T.K. asked as he called out to her.

"T.K., where are you?" Nancy asked from another part of the crowd, but the crowd started pushing again, causing her to get further away from her younger son.

"Mommy!" T.K. cried out.

Meanwhile, the Bakemon continued to take families away from their homes. "Come out, come out, wherever you are." said Phantomon. Back in Izzy's room, he continued to download the digital barrier which was halfway done.

"Come on. Come on." Izzy said to his laptop. Just then, his parents burst into his room with a frying pan and golf club in their hands.

"It's time to go, Izzy." said Yoshie, holding the frying pan.

"We've got to get out of here." said Masami, holding his golf club.

"No, believe it or not, we'll be safer here." said Izzy.

"What are you talking about, Izzy? Those creatures are going to be at our door any minute." said Yoshie.

"Trust me, I know what I'm doing." said Izzy. "Just give me another couple of minutes."

"No, you are coming now." said Yoshie.

"Wait, mom, let me go." said Izzy. Outside, a Bakemon was making his way inside the Izumi residence.

"Mom, you don't understand." Izzy said to Yoshie, struggling to stay at his desk.

"No, you don't understand. This isn't the time." said Yoshie. "Now will you please leave that computer alone and come on? Huh?" She looked up as she felt her husband's hand on her shoulder.

"Dear, maybe he knows what he's doing." said Masami. "Let's trust the boy, alright? The kids seem to know more about it."

"You're right." said Yoshie.

"Go for it, son." said Masami. Izzy smiled and continues to download the digital barrier as Phantomon stood outside of the Izumi door with two Bakemon behind him.

"Next. Trick or Treat." said Phantomon. Just then, the digital barrier just finished downloading on Izzy's computer.

"Done! Digital barrier coming on…now!" said Izzy as a bright light flashes from his computer as Phantomon slices opens the front door. The two Bakemon flew inside and looked throughout the apartment. One of the Bakemon looked inside Izzy's room, but to his eyes, he doesn't see anyone but a floating frying pan and a floating golf club.

"Huh? That's funny. I could have sworn…..huh?" said Bakemon.

"There's no one here. Let's get moving." said Phantomon and they left the apartment, leaving Izzy's parents to fall to the ground seconds later.

"It worked! The digital barrier is in place." said Tentomon.

"Huh? Ah!" said Izzy's parents, shocked that Tentomon was talking in front of them.

"Oops. Well now that you know that I can talk, my name's Tentomon. Please to make your acquaintance." said Tentomon, bowing as he says this causing Yoshie to pass out.

"Dear." said Masami, catching his wife before she hits the ground.

"Mmm." groaned Tentomon.

Meanwhile at the convention center, the Bakemon got all the adults separated from their children and were now sitting on the floor. "Well, what are you going to do with us?" asked Susumu.

"Now what's going to happen?" a woman asked.

"Well, if I told you now, it would just simply ruin the surprise that's coming up. In the meantime, why doesn't everybody just take a little nap." said DemiDevimon, putting the adults to sleep. Meanwhile, Gatomon was forced by Myotismon to point out the 9th child from a group of kids the Bakemon had rounded up.

"It's not him." said Gatomon.

"Next." said Bakemon.

"It's not her." she then said.

"Okay, next." said Bakemon.

"Beware, Gatomon." said Myotismon, from a shadow behind her, causing Gatomon to flinch.

"Huh?" asked Gatomon, not turning around to face Myotismon.

"If you lie to me, I will simply destroy them all." said Myotismon, appearing from the shadows. All the kids start crying as Gatomon wonders what she can do to help them.

Meanwhile at the pier, Joe was caught in the pushing crowd. "Hey! Slow down!" Joe shouted to whoever pushed him and runs outside, leaning against the wall to catch his breath. "I thought we were goners."

"Joe!" someone called out.

"Huh?" said Joe, turning his attention to see T.K. and Patamon. "Hey, T.K."

"I thought you'd be in town." said T.K.

"No, I was across the harbor when the power went out." Joe explained.

"So we're both stuck out here while everyone else is in there." said T.K. as they both looked across the water as the fog surrounded the district.

"Yeah, who knows what Myotismon's planning to do inside that evil blanket of fog." said Joe. "He must be getting desperate to find the 9th child."

"What do we do now?" asked Patamon.

"Now it's time for action. We've gotta get over there." said Joe.

"We know, but what will we use to get across?" asked T.K.

"This is what." said Joe, winking as T.K. and Patamon became confused. "The answer's right here." Joe then opens the duffel bag.

"Tada!" said Gomamon, popping out of the duffel bag.

"Gomamon!" T.K. exclaimed with a smile on his face.

"Are you ready to give it a try ?" Joe asked Gomamon.

"I am if you are." he replied. Inside the pier house, Nancy was looking for her youngest son.

"T.K.! T.K.!" said Nancy. Outside, Joe and T.K. headed down to the docks just as Joe's digivice starts glowing.

"Gomamon digivolve to…Ikkakumon!" Ikkakumon hops into the water near the dock.

"All aboard!" said Ikkakumon as Joe, T.K. and Patamon climbed onto his back.

"Look, it's another one." said a man, seeing Ikkakumon in the water. Nancy pushes through the crowd to see T.K. on Ikkakumon's back with Joe next to him.

"T.K." Nancy called out.

"Uh oh." said T.K., realizing that he was in trouble now.

"T.K., what is that thing? Get down from there." said Nancy as she walked along side Ikkakumon on the pier.

"Oh, it's okay, mom. By the way, this is a friend of mine. His name's Joe." said T.K.

"It's very nice to meet you ma'am. I was in T.K.'s woodworking class at summer camp." Joe said to Nancy. "He nearly cut off one of my fingers but that's a whole different story. I won't go into it right now."

"Please stop. I don't understand." said Nancy.

"Don't worry mom, the saw completely missed him by a mile, but he wasn't hurt." said T.K.

"That's not what I'm talking about." said Nancy as she starts to run out of dock.

"See you later mom, we'll be back with Matt and dad by dinner time." said T.K., waving to her as he, Joe and Patamon entered the fog and disappeared from Nancy's sight.

"Oh, no. I've lost all of them now." said Nancy, staring into the fog.

At the Izumi residence, Yoshie was passed out on Izzy's bed with a rag on her forehead while Masami watched over her. Izzy was at his desk, getting another email from Gennai. "So Izzy, if you're still listening to me, that means the digital barrier must have worked." said Gennai as Yoshie comes around.

"Like a charm." said Izzy.

"The fog barrier surrounding the entire district is not a natural phenomenon. It's Myotismon's doing." said Gennai.

"Well duh." said Izzy.

"Yeah, but what do we do about it?" Tentomon asked.

"You're probably wondering when I'm going to tell you what you can do about it. The source of the fog is here. Attack its source and you should be able to bring down the barrier." said Gennai, pulling up an image of the TV Station.

"That's a TV Station. Let's get moving." said Izzy.

"Aye. Aye." said Tentomon as Izzy gathers his things.

"They might come back. The safest thing you guys can do is stay right where you are." said Izzy. "In here, the digital barrier will protect you. I'll be back just as soon as I can. So long."

"Wait." said Yoshie with tears in her eyes as Izzy almost runs out of the room. "You've grown so much Izzy and it's obvious that you can take care of yourself, but you'll always be my little boy. So please son, be careful."

"I will. Don't worry about me, mom." said Izzy, exiting his room.

"I'll make sure that he's safe." said Tentomon, following after him as Yoshie cries into her husband's arms.

Meanwhile, a lone Bakemon was sitting on a bench near a Ferris Wheel. "Never a moment's rest. It's always seize her or grab him or terrorize that old lady. I'm one pooped spook." thought Bakemon, not noticing Tai and Agumon behind him. Just then, the two of them popped out from behind him, and started punching the Bakemon.

"Okay, start talking. Where are you keeping everyone you little creep?" Tai asked. Just then, Birdramon spots Tai on the ground and flies in with Sora and a frozen Lillymon.

"Hey, Tai!" Sora called out.

"Sora, so you're alright?" asked Tai, but then turns around to see that the Bakemon runs away from him. "Hey! Come back!"

"The convention center. Myotismon's holding them prisoner there." said Sora.

"Everyone in the whole district?" Tai asked her as she lands on the ground in front of him.

"Yeah, including Mimi. He's got your parents as well." Sora said to him.

"I've about had it with this guy." said Tai.

"So what now, Tai?" asked Sora.

"I want you to meet up with Matt. He's in the abandoned warehouse by Aqua City with Keiko." replied Tai.

"Right." said Sora. "We're on our way."

"Let's go, Agumon." said Tai and runs past them to head to the convention center.

"Aqua City, Birdramon and step on it." said Sora as she climbs onto Birdramon.

Unknown to them, Phantomon appeared on the Ferris Wheel and heard what the two digidestined had said. "The plot thickens." said Phantomon before taking off after Sora.

Inside the TV Station, Hiroaki was typing on the computer. "The satellite dish won't respond. Rats!" said Hiroaki. "Come on, there's gotta be some way to communicate with the outside world."

Meanwhile, Izzy and Tentomon had just arrived outside of the TV Station. "Wow! I had no idea TV Stations were so big." said Tentomon. "If I'm going to destroy it, I should digivolve."

"Hold on for a minute. For all we know, there might still be people inside. We better check it out." said Izzy and both of them head inside.

Meanwhile at the convention center, Mimi was sitting in the middle of a crying group of kids. Outside, Tai and Agumon finally arrived. "Hang in there, Mimi, I'll get all of you out. I promised Kari." thought Tai as he and Agumon hid underneath a walkway.

Back at the warehouse, Matt was talking with Kari and Keiko to pass the time. "I know that you said it before, but I'm surprised that you didn't tell us that you were really identical, Keiko." said Gabumon.

"That's what I said!" said Renamon.

"That's because Kari and I wear different color shirts." Keiko replied. "To help others and our teacher tell us apart."

"I like it. Very unique." said Gabumon, smiling.

"Thanks, Gabumon!" said Keiko.

"Wizardmon, huh? Is that your digimon's name?" asked Matt.

"No, no. Mine is Gatomon. Wizardmon is like her best friend, but he's gone now. He got captured by the bad digimon. It must be awful losing your best friend. Our mommy got captured by them, too. But not our daddy. Do you think maybe our daddy got away?" asked Kari, then looks up at Matt with a hopeful look. "He's all right, don't you think? And Mommy will be too, cause Tai's gonna rescue her, right?"

"Uh, sure he will, Kari. But let's remember, Tai's just one kid and he's fighting hundreds." said Matt.

"I want mommy to come back!" cried Kari, then hugs Keiko, who then glares at Matt.

"Nice work." Gabumon said sarcastically. "Do it with compassion. Can't you see she's worried about her family? You're worried about yours, aren't you?"

"Nice going, Matt." said Renamon, cuffing the boy in the head.

"You should've eased it gently to her, Matt." said Keiko.

Joe, T.K. and Patamon were still navigating their way through the fog on Ikkakumon's back. "We're almost there. Once we get past the bridge, we'll be through the barrier." said Joe.

"Right." said T.K. As the two digidestined and their digimon make their way towards the bridge, the sound of growling was heard somewhere in the fog.

"Is that your tummy rumbling or did I hear something?" asked Joe.

"Huh? Like what?" asked T.K. They then look up into the fog, seeing two glowing blue eyes.

"Wait, what's up there…..by the bridge?" asked Joe.

Just then, a serpent digimon who looked like Seadramon, only the difference was, this one had red hair and a helmet. Both boys screamed in shock at this. "I knew this was too easy." said Patamon. "That's MegaSeadramon. The old Seadramon was bad enough, but compared to this fully digivolved version, it was just an angry guppy."

MegaSeadramon roared as he tightens his hold on the bridge, causing it to break the street in half. "Oh great, we'll probably get blamed for this." said Joe.

"Harpoon Torpedo!" shouted Ikkakumon as he fires three torpedoes at MegaSeadramon's face.

"Bull's eye! Right on the button." shouted Joe, thinking that it did the job but instead when the smoke cleared, it revealed that MegaSeadramon was unharmed.

"Thunder Javelin!" bellowed MegaSeadramon, firing a blue lightning blast at Ikkakumon, causing Joe and T.K. to fall into the water.

"T.K.? Joe? T.K.?" Patamon called as he flies over the water. Suddenly, T.K. surfaces and struggles against the water's current, just to stay above water.

"Help me! I can't swim so good, Patamon!" yelled T.K. Patamon grabs his hand and tries to get him out of the water, but T.K. was too heavy which cause him to go under.

"Matt. Brother. I need you." said T.K. A pair of arms grabbed him and pulls him up, placing T.K. on a piece of driftwood. "What was that?" asked T.K.

"Grab on!" said Joe.

"Joe!" exclaimed T.K.

"Just hang onto that and you'll be okay. I wouldn't want your mom or your brother to worry about you. You're just a kid. I'm responsible for you." said Joe and he finally goes under.

"Joe? Joe!" yelled T.K. Joe continued to sink deeper into the water but his crest suddenly glows brightly. Joe's sinking form was surrounded by silver light and his digivice turned completely silver as the crest of Reliability shoots out from its tag.

"Ikkakumon digivolve to…" Ikkakumon was engulfed by water and once he came out, he had completely changed. He resembled a gray and orange walrus wearing a turtle shell with spikes coming out of it with a red stringy like tail, a large metal hammer and a large horn that absorbed electricity. "Zudomon!"

"Wow! Who's that, Patamon?" asked T.K.

"Don't worry, he's one of ours." said Patamon. "That's Zudomon….he's the fully digivolved version of Ikkakumon. I was wondering when he'd showed up."

Zudomon then picks up T.K. and Joe from the water. "Joe." said T.K. and suddenly, Joe's crest shoots a beam through the fog.

"It's cutting through the fog." said Joe.

"Thunder Javelin!" thundered MegaSeadramon, firing his attack at them.

"I don't think so." said Zudomon as he used his horn to absorb the blue lightning.

"Yippee!" cheered T.K.

"That's my digimon." said Joe.

"Vulcan's Hammer!" bellowed Zudomon, slamming his hammer into MegaSeadramon, sending him into the water before being sent back into the digital world.

"Way to go!" cheered Joe.

"Hey, we better go before the fog bank closes again." said T.K.

"You've got a point. Engines ahead full, Zudomon." said Joe as Zudomon makes his way through the opening.

Meanwhile at the TV station, Izzy and Tentomon were inside, making their way through the hallways of the station. "Okay, keep your eyes peeled. Now if I were a fog barrier generator where would I be?" Izzy asked, trying to find the fog generator when suddenly a Bakemon shows up at the end of the hallway. "Get back. Back up! We'll go the other way."

Just as he and Tentomon turned around to go the other direction, another Bakemon appeared. "Not that way either. They've got us surrounded." said Izzy when out of nowhere, a door opens up behind him, grabbing Izzy and Tentomon as they pulled the both of them inside.

"Keep quiet." said Hiroaki, covering Izzy's mouth.

"Huh?" said Izzy, confused.

"Pretty boring, huh?" asked Bakemon.

"You said it." said the other Bakemon.

"Who are you?" Izzy asked quietly, looking up at Hiroaki.

Back out on the waterfront, Joe, T.K., Patamon and Zudomon continued moving through the fog. "I can't see anything in here." said T.K.

"I just hope we don't end up going in the totally wrong direction." said Joe.

"Take me to Gatomon. Please." said a voice in the water.

"Huh? Who's there?" asked Patamon. Just then, Wizardmon appeared out of nowhere, floating on the water as he clings to a log.

"I'm Wizardmon. Must find Gatomon. Important." Wizardmon said weakly.

"Not so fast there." said Joe, glaring at Wizardmon. "Aren't you one of Myotismon's henchmen?"

"He looks beat up pretty bad." said T.K.

"Gotta give Gatomon….this." said Wizardmon, then shows them in his hand the real Crest of Light.

"Look, he's got somebody's crest." said T.K.

"Yes, it belongs to the 9th child." said Wizardmon before passing out.

"Oh! The 9th child!" Joe and T.K. said in shock.

At the warehouse in Aqua City, Matt's digivice beeped, signaling that the two hours Tai had told him that he would be gone were up. "Your brother should've been back by now. Where is he?" asked Matt.

"Hey, is anybody there?" a familiar voice asked from outside. They gasped as they looked over to see Birdramon carrying Sora and Lillymon.

"Sora! What's up?" asked Matt as he and Gabumon run out of the warehouse.

"Matt! Keiko! Thank goodness! Myotismon's rounded up the entire district." said Sora as she jumps off of Birdramon's leg. "He's holding everybody at the convention center."

"He has our mom and dad?" asked Keiko, as Renamon followed her out and Sora nodded.

"So what do we do now?" asked Matt.

"I have a suggestion." said someone. The four of them looked up to see Phantomon on a bridge above them. "You see, I've never understood why the master's wasting all his time searching for the 9th child, but it would be so much easier just to destroy you all." said Phantomon.

"If you want a fight, I'll give you a fight!" shouted Matt.

"I don't prefer two on one but I'll even the odds." said Phantomon and the ground starts shaking, revealing from the ground another Dinosaur Digimon. "Say hello to Tuskmon and watch out. Avoiding his razor-sharp horns is no easy 'tusk'. Sorry." Just then, the sky swirled and revealed a large green bug digimon with sickles for hands. "And here's the second member of our attack team; Snimon: a deadly praying mantis digimon, which is so appropriate because you're all about to become his pray."

"Watch out!" shouted Sora as Tuskmon and Snimon got closer.

"Gabumon!" shouted Matt.

"Gabumon digivolve to….Garurumon!"

"Don't worry, we can take these guys." said Birdramon as Garurumon pounces on Tuskmon while she flies up to Snimon.

"Twin Sickles!" shouted Snimon as two purple slashes at Birdramon.

"Hey, you're going the wrong way." said Matt, seeing Garurumon be knocked far back in a water fountain.

"Shadow Scythe!" shouted Phantomon as he wraps his ball and chain around Matt, attacking him with his scythe.

"Get back!" shouted Sora, as she picks up a stick and wields it against Phantomon. He then uses his scythe to push her back, breaking the stick she had in her hands. Suddenly, Sora's digivice went red and her crest shot out of its tag.

"Birdramon digivolve to….Garudamon!" Garudamon went after Snimon but was it by his Twin Sickles and was sent back into the wall of the warehouse as Kari and Felicity watched with sadness in their eyes.

"Keiko?" asked Kari as she turns to her twin.

"Kari….no." said Keiko, tears filling up her eyes. "No! You cant."

"I don't know what you two are thinking, but it doesn't look good." said Renamon.

"Kind of chokes you up, doesn't it?" joked Phantomon as he tightened his hold on the chain around Matt's neck. Afraid for her sister, Renamon and the others, what Kari did shocked them.

"STOP IT NOW! THAT'S ENOUGH!" screamed Kari.

Meanwhile, Joe and T.K. got Wizardmon out of the water and the crest of Light brightly glowed in his hand. "Ah! Whats it doing?" asked T.K. as Wizardmon opened his eyes.

Back at the warehouse, the fighting stopped as everyone looked at Kari. "It's me you want. I'm the 9th child. If you just stop hurting my friends, I'll come with you quietly. Wherever you want." said Kari.

"What a refreshingly helpful attitude. It's a deal." said Phantomon as Tuskmon and Snimon got off of Garudamon and Garurumon.

"Kari, no!" said Keiko, grabbing her twin's hand. "Don't leave me, please."

"I'll be okay, Keiko. I promise." said Kari, giving her sister a sad smile. The chain around Matt's neck was gone and he drops to his knees, trying to catch his breath as Garurumon walked over to him after getting out of the water.

"I'm ready." said Kari as an orb appeared around her.

"Hurry, Matt! Keiko! Stop her!" shouted Sora.

"Don't do this, Kari." said Keiko and Renamon.

"No, Kari! You don't know what you're doing!" yelled Matt as the orb was lifted into the air.

"Oh no, Matt! What are we going to do now?" asked Sora.

"Kari." said Keiko, tears filling her eyes.

"I don't know. Tai is going to be so mad at me." said Matt.
