To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. After digivolving into their mega forms, Izzy begins to analyze them. "It's WarGreymon. It says here his attacks are Terra Force and Great Tornado….gathering the energy around him and focusing it in the palm of his hands or in a mini tornado spin of his body." said Izzy. "MetalGarurumon has his Metal Wolf Claw attack….he shoots a powerful cold blast at his enemies, then blows them to pieces. Mega digimon. They digivolved into their Mega Digimon forms."
"That's great, because we'll need them to defeat VenomMyotismon." said Tentomon.
"Yeah, that's for sure." said Matt.
"Good luck, I'll wait here." said Tentomon.
"Way to go, WarGreymon. You creamed him….I think." said Izzy.
They all ran to the van and got inside, following the two Mega evolved Digimon as they flew over to VenomMyotismon, who was then getting up from the ground. "Wow, look at them. Get after him, WarGreymon!" cheered Tai.
"Put his lights out." said Keiko and Kari, smiling at this as VenomMyotismon finally rose from the ground.
"Ice Wolf Claw!" growled MetalGarurumon, shooting out ice rockets from his body, freezing VenomMyotismon.
"Completely…." said Matt.
"Frozen solid." said T.K.
VenomMyotismon was an ice sculpture in front of them, but soon enough he starts shaking off the ice. "It didn't work." said MetalGarurumon.
"Your miserable attempts to destroy me have failed. Now you will pay. Venom Infusion!" said VenomMyotismon, blasting everything in sight. Angry at WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, VenomMyotismon starts to shoot at them, causing both Mega Digimon to fly out of the way.
Sadly, he hits one of the buildings as Hiroaki and the kids were driving by, breaking a part of building as it came falling down.
"Look out!" shouted Matt and Tai. Hiroaki made a hard left, dodging the debris, only causing the van to be tipped over. "Everybody out!" he said as he helps Masami and they all cleared out. "Get clear of the van!"
Meanwhile at the convention center, Sora, Mimi and Joe, along with their digimon, were watching VenomMyotismon angrily blast everything. Just then, Jim walks up behind them. "Jim, how's dad?" Joe asked his brother. "Is there any improvement yet?"
"No, still exactly the same." answered Jim as the three hung their heads in sadness.
"All right, I'm tired of fooling around." Gomamon stated to everyone. "We have to defeat Myotismon once and for all."
"Our parents always protected us. Now it's time we came through for them." said Mimi.
"Mimi, if we can do it together, we can beat him." said Palmon.
"Think so?" Mimi asked and Palmon nodded.
"I'll try." said Biyomon.
"You will?" asked Sora.
"Yeah." replied Biyomon.
"Okay." said Sora.
"We already tried." said Joe.
"So, we'll keep on trying, Joe, because Digimon never give up." said Gomamon as he hops onto Joe's shoulders. "Like I always say; 'All for mon and mon for all'."
"You're right. We can do it. Let's get him, guys!" yelled Joe, as he charges forward.
"Is Joe always like this?" asked Jim.
"You'll have to excuse Joe. He's a little hyperactive." said Sora as she and Biyomon bowed to Jim and ran off.
"Please take care of our parents, Jim." said Mimi as she and Palmon ran off after them.
"Good luck, you guys." said Jim, watching the three of them go into the fight.
Meanwhile, from the destruction that was going on, everyone wounded up separated from each other. "Kari! Keiko!" Tai shouted, looking for his little sisters as WarGreymon flies up to VenomMyotismon for an attack, but was swatted away.
"Where are you, Tai?" Kari called out as Keiko looks around for their big brother.
Angewomon and Kyubimon had a couple of large boulders thrown at them as Angewomon was thrown to the ground. "Tai!" Matt shouted, looking for him.
MetalGarurumon flies up to VenomMyotismon's head, turning around to fire his missiles which then misses the virus digimon. "Get him, Angemon!" yelled T.K. as Angemon flew up to help, but was backhanded by VenomMyotismon into a building where adults were.
"Mom! Dad! I'm coming!" shouted Izzy as he ran towards his parents with Tentomon behind him.
"Look, Izzy, all the others have digivolved too. There's Ikkakumon, Birdramon and Togemon. I'm going in." said Tentomon as Izzy's digivice begins to glow.
"Tentomon digivolve to….Kabuterimon!"
"Everyone attack at the same time." said WarGreymon.
"Okay, how about a little Needle Spray! Harpoon Torpedo! Meteor Wing! Electro Shocker! Hand of Fate! Foxtail Inferno! Celestial Arrow! Metal Wolf Claw!"
All nine digimon combined their attacks as they fired upon VenomMyotismon's abdomen. "And now to widen things up! Great Tornado!" shouted WarGreymon, forming an orange tornado and slams right into VenomMyotismon's abdomen, causing the mega digimon to scream in profound pain as he pushes through. Everyone became shocked and stunned as VenomMyotismon fell to one knee.
"That did it." said Hiroaki. As the giant digimon knelt down, everyone watched as the with a huge hole in his midsection. Growing in anger, VenomMyotismon roared as his body shook.
"You think you can defeat me?!" VenomMyotismon asked, standing as the ground shook beneath them. "You've only awaken the beast within."
He laughed as the hole, looking like a mouth formed on his abdomen, had this black creepy toad like thing with Myotismon's mask on its face, pokes his head out. "What is that thing?" asked Tai.
"It's looks like one of Miko's hairballs with a mask on its face." said Felicity. Out of nowhere, the thing blasts out a wave of shadows, sending all their digimon back.
"WarGreymon." said Tai, as his mega level digimon lands in front of him.
"Now I'll devour all of you digidestined. You've stood in my way for the last time." said VenomMyotismon.
"It can't end like this." thought Mimi.
"I let everyone down again." thought Matt.
"I wish I could have done more." thought Sora.
"It's impossible he survived that." thought Izzy.
"Maybe we should surrender." thought Joe.
"This is scarier than the movies." thought T.K.
"I can't do this alone." thought Keiko. WarGreymon growls, still laying on the ground as Kari gasps as she watched.
"I will never give up." thought Tai, just as his crest starts to glow, causing him to look down at it. "Huh? My crest. Everybody, look at your crests. They're all beginning to glow."
Suddenly orange, blue, red, purple, green, yellow, crimson and pink lights shined all around them. They were all standing around VenomMyotismon in a large circle, seconds later, their crests shot out, creating pillars of light that wrapped around VenomMyotismon's neck, arms and legs, holding him down.
"Curse you digidestined! Curse you and your lousy crests!" shouted little VenomMyotismon, wiggling around. "Let go! Let go!"
"Look at that. Mega freaky." said Tai. "I wonder if that monster represents Myotismon's actual form. WarGreymon!"
"Pass me the ball." said WarGreymon. MetalGreymon went after the ball shaped part of the TV station that fell before and tosses up into the air towards WarGreymon who then flies up towards the ball.
"Nice pass." commented Sora.
WarGreymon gives it a hard kick, sending it right into the thing. "Terra Force! Metal Wolf Claw!" shouted WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, sending their attacks straight at VenomMyotismon.
He did some kind of jig as he was consumed in the lights from the attacks and slowly started falling apart, exploding into data as everyone started cheering. Back at the convention center, Jim starts to see everyone waking up from DemiDevimon's spell.
"Hey, what happened Jim?" asked Keisuke.
"It must be Joe and the others. They did it! They won!" Jim said excitedly.
Back at the battle, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon were now back in their In-training forms. "We did it, Tai, we did it." cheered Koromon as he jumped into Tai's arms, laughing as he danced around.
"Wasn't that cool, Matt?" asked Tsunomon as he bounced over.
"Good job, Tsunomon." said Matt, rubbing his partner's head.
"Look, a stray digimon." said Mimi, looking over her shoulder at a puppy-looking digimon.
"Don't you recognize me? I was Gatomon. What do I have to do, cough up a furball?" asked the little puppy digimon.
"That's Salamon, the rookie form of Gatomon. Isn't she cute?" asked Kari, smiling at Salamon as she pets her head. "Much more cuddly than her ultimate form of Angewomon, but I guess she's back to being a rookie because she used up all of her energy during the fight. What're we gonna do? They don't allow pets in our apartment."
"You're so cute!" shouted Keiko, picking up Salamon and hugs her. "Don't worry, Kari. We'll figure out a way to keep Salamon hidden!"
"Drag." drawled Joe, fixing his glasses.
"Hey look, the sky's clearing up." said Sora, pointing up to the sky as the fog around them starts fading away. She then frowns at what she was seeing. "What?"
Up in the sky, there were images of what seems to be a forested area with a lake and mountains. Each one looking like strips as they were scattered all over the place. "Hey, no way!" said T.K.
"It's….not possible." said Joe. "There's a giant island floating in the sky….upside down."
"Things just keep getting weirder." said Tai as Kari and Keiko clung to him. "Man, why did this have to happen now when we were just feeling good about beating Myotismon? It's like the world is turning upside down or something."
Meanwhile at the convention center. "Hey, what's going on?" asked Susumu.
"Whatever it is, it doesn't look too good for our side." said Jim.
"Oh, Jim, have you seen my children?" Yuuko asks. "Do you know where Tai, Kari and Keiko are?"
"No, but I have an educated guess." he tells her. "I'm gonna search where the monsters were fighting. I'll come back when I find them, okay?" He gets on his scooter and takes off.
Meanwhile, Nancy was currently on the boat heading for the district where T.K. had went off to. She looks up at the sky while waiting for the boat to arrive at the district harbor. Back with the digidestined, they gathered around to figure out their next move.
"This isn't making any sense." said Izzy. "It looks like an entire upside-down continent in the sky, but it doesn't show up on radar or on any satellite pictures. In fact, no instruments available of any kind can confirm that whatever it is, is really even there."
"T.K.! T.K.! Where are you?!" shouted Nancy.
"Momma!" T.K. called out.
"Oh, T.K. I was so afraid I'd never see you again." said Nancy, smiling as she ran over to her youngest son, hugging him while Matt and their dad awkwardly stood there….unsure of what to do. "You must have been so terrified!"
"Nuh-uh. Matt was with me the whole time." said T.K. Nancy looks over at her oldest son who was standing behind T.K.
"Matt." she said, seeing her eldest son.
"Hey mom." said Matt.
"Come on!" said T.K. happily, grabbing his mother's hand and dragging her over to Matt and his dad. "Come see Matt….and daddy too."
"Oh, Matt. I'm so proud of you. Thank you, son." said Nancy, grateful that he was with his little brother.
"Yeah, whatever." said Matt.
"Don't be like that. Please, Matt." pleaded Nancy.
"Nancy…it's been a long time, hasn't it?" asked Hiroaki.
"Yes it has." replied Nancy, placing a hand on T.K.'s shoulder.
"It's been a really long time since all four of us have been together, huh, Matt?" asked T.K.
"Yeah, I guess so." said Matt.
"Check this out, guys. I've been monitoring the news reports." said Izzy. "The air force is sending in everything they've got to figure out what this continent in the sky really is. They don't know anything so far, but they assuming it's dangerous."
Meanwhile, a plane was heading to the continent in the sky when suddenly, it reached the edge, causing the plane to lose power.
"This is Hawk Eye One, mayday! Mayday! Mayday!" screamed the pilot. Back with the digidestined.
"I have to admit that I'm kind of jealous that Matt and T.K. found their parents and Izzy too." said Mimi as they all watched the happy families. "I just hope that my mom and dad are all right."
"I know how you feel. Me too." said Sora when she hears someone on a moped coming up behind them. "Huh? Someone's coming."
"Oh, right. My brother." said Joe, realizing who it was. "Hey, I didn't tell him he could ride my scooter." Jim then stops in front of the group.
"Jim, have you seen my mom and dad?" Mimi asked as he pulls off his helmet.
"All the other families that were at the convention center are fine. They're all back to normal." Jim smiled, making them cheer.
"Sora, they're safe." said Mimi, holding Sora's hands. Sora smiles as she wipes away tears of relief, joy and happiness away from her eyes.
"Let's check the news." said Jim as he pulls out a mini-TV, turning it on to show what was currently happening.
"The latest report we have from the air force chief of staff confirms that the mysterious landmass in the sky is not an illusion of any kind. It is very real and after several confirmations, apparently very dangerous." said the news lady.
"It's…covering the whole sky." said Joe.
"It has to be Myotismon's work again." frowned Matt.
"But that's impossible, isn't it?" asked Tsunomon. "We defeated Myotismon for good this time."
"Yeah, we kicked booty." said Koromon.
"They're right. It must be something else that causing this." said Renamon.
"What do you think it could be?" asked Keiko.
"Well, you heard the news report. It's definitely dangerous." said Joe. "Who else could be doing it?"
"It doesn't matter who's doing it. We just have to stop it." Tai tells him.
"There's something familiar about that mountain. It looks like Infinity Mountain." thought Izzy, then turns to Tai. "Hey, Tai, grab your telescope and give us a closer peek at that peak right there."
"Huh? Which one?" asked Tai, pulling out his telescope and checks it out.
"There, the big one I'm pointing to." said Izzy, pointing in the direction of the familiar mountain.
"Oh, like that helps me." Tai said sarcastically. "All right, I'm looking. Man, there are dozens of mountains up there. Which one?"
"The big one!" said Izzy.
"The big….what?!" gasped Tai.
"Did you find it?" Izzy asked.
"What I found is a jet line." replied Tai.
Meanwhile on the jet line. "Ground control, this is flight 224. We have lost our vector. Over." said the pilot.
"Strange…why don't they answer?" the copilot asked.
"This is 224 to ground control. Ground Control? Do you copy?" asked the pilot. "Repeat; we have lost our landing vector. Come in, ground control."
"We can't land now and we can't turn back with the fuel we have on board." said the copilot.
Just then, all the instrument panels started going haywire. "What?" asked the copilot.
"The alarm. All systems failure." said the pilot. "We've got about two seconds to figure out what's wrong here."
"It's no use. Nothing's responding. We're going down!" said the copilot as the plane takes a nose dive.
"Oh no, the airplane reached the edge of that thing in the sky and just headed straight down." said Tai.
"Biyomon." said Sora. Back on the jet line, the pilot was struggling to pull the plane up into the air again.
"Got….to….pull up. We'll break up at this speed." the pilot said to the copilot. "Help me pull!" Meanwhile Birdramon was making her way to the plane.
"If I can just get there in time." said Birdramon, but then sees something flying towards the plane. "It's Kuwagamon. Where did he come from?" Kuwagamon flew past the plane's wing, causing it to lose power and the pilot to scream in fear.
Birdramon flies underneath the plane to try and catch it on her back, but the plane was too heavy for her to carry to safety. "Do it, Birdramon!" Joe called out from the ground.
"Birdramon, digivolve!" shouted Sora. She was then surrounded by red light, making her digivice turn all red and the crest of Love shoots out of her tag.
"Birdramon digivolve to….Garudamon!"
"I'll help too." said Kabuterimon, flying over to help Garudamon. "Huh? Kuwagamon? Electro Shocker!" As Kabuterimon fires his attack, it goes right through Kuwagamon. "It went right through."
"Kabuterimon, get away from him! Don't touch him." warned Garudamon.
"Wow." said Kabuterimon.
Kuwagamon flew off, so Kabuterimon flies over to help Garudamon by landing the plane in the water. The passengers of flight 224 were all getting off the plane and into safety rafts.
"Nice going, Birdramon, you've brought the plane down safely." said Tai as Motimon and Yokomon came back. "Guys, how'd Kuwagamon get here?"
"He came out of that land in the sky." explained Yokomon.
"I was right all along." said Izzy as the others turned their attention to him. "That giant continent is actually the digital world."
"What?!" yelped Joe.
"That's why you recognized that mountain." said Matt.
"Yeah, you know it does look sort of familiar." said Mimi.
"Whats going on here?" asked Sora.
"Guys, you better have a look at this." said Jim as he continued to watch the news.
"We bring you some truly bizarre scenes. No official explanation has been given for what you are seeing here." said the news reporter.
"Kuwagamon again and if we touch these digimon, we'll freeze just like the airplane's wing." said Yokomon.
"And when I fired my Electro Shocker, it passed right through." added Motimon.
"Man, what's going on here?" asked Tai while Kari, Keiko, Salamon and Renamon stood farther off, still looking at the sky.
"Salamon. Is that your world?" Kari asked.
"Yeah, I think so, but the last time I was there, it was definitely right side up." she said.
"Looking at the digital world from this angle is so weird." said Renamon.
"Yeah. I think I'm going to be sick just by looking at it like this." said Keiko, grabbing her stomach.
"Now that you mention it, I'm feeling it too." said Renamon, grabbing her stomach as well.
"Just a minute, we've been back in the real world for a few days." said Izzy as they stared at the digital world. "But up there, time is much faster. Years and years have passed by."
"And since we've left the digital world when it was just a mess, it had years and years to get worse." said Koromon. "I can only imagine what it looks like now."
"And all the problems in the digital world have become our problems too here in the real world." said Sora.
"That's that." said Tai, determined by his decision. "We've all got to go back."
"But how? How're we supposed to get there?" asked Mimi.
"It's not like we have a rocket or a sling shot to get us there." said Keiko.
"The first time we went to the digital world, our digivices led us." said Joe. "You guys try it again."
"You're coming too, Joe." said Izzy. "We're all in this together."
"Good thing I brought more snacks this time." said Keiko, patting her backpack. "You may never know who's going to get hungry."
"That's why we love you, Keiko." said Tai as Kari hugs her twin.
"I also brought some other thing, in case if you get…you know…." Keiko whispered to Kari, who nodded.
"All right everybody, hold out your digivices. We're going back." said Tai as they all stood in a circle with their nine digimon friends standing around them. "Next stop, the digital world. Keep your arms and legs in at all times."
Their digivices gave off a rainbow light that raised into the sky in a pillar of transparent light. "I think it's working, Tai." said Izzy as the kids stared in awe. "This light appears to be guidance."
"Now all we have to do is follow it." said Joe.
"Back to the digital world." said Renamon.
"T.K." Nancy called out. T.K. turns around and sees the sad look on his mother's face.
"Mom. Oh, I'm sorry we have to leave now that we're back together." said T.K.
"What?" asked Nancy.
"Let them go. We've made some selfish decisions of our own, didn't we?" asked Hiroaki, then discards his toothpick as Nancy looked upset as tears fell down her face. "We have to let them do this. This could be more important than you realize."
Nancy has a flashback of their divorce, with her taking young T.K. while Hiroaki takes young Matt. "The whole world is doomed if we don't do something, Mom." Matt sternly said to her. "You know we have to go back. We're doing this to protect you."
"Matt…" cried Nancy.
"You guys better crankin', although it's hard to believe the fate of the worlds in the hands of a bunch of kids like you, I guess if the sun doesn't come up tomorrow, we'll know you messed up." said Jim.
"Stop it. You've got to have faith in your brother and his friends." Yoshie scolded Jim, making him back down nervously. "What they're doing is incredibly brave."
"Whoa, lady. I didn't mean anything." said Jim, rubbing the back of his head.
"It's okay. He was only kidding and besides…I'm gonna make darn sure the sun does come up tomorrow!" said Joe, looking more determined than ever with his fists clenched.
"Joe, I didn't know you had it in you." Sora gushed playfully.
"What a man." said Mimi.
"This is better than the old Joe I've seen." said Keiko, looking at Renamon.
"Much better that the old Joe we've ever seen." said Renamon, looking at Keiko.
The others laughed as Joe sighs in embarrassment, but then gasped as he was being levitated by the rainbow. "Whats happening?" asked Sora and Mimi.
"All right, here we go." said Tai as they all jumped into the rainbow and levitated into the sky.
"Matt! T.K.! Take care of each other!" Nancy called out to her boys.
"Sora! I love you, Sora. Please come home soon. I'll be here waiting for you." Toshiko called out to her daughter.
She and the rest of the parents had made it in time to see their kids go back into the digital world, watching from below to see them save the world again.
"Bye, Momma!" Sora called out.
"Momma, Papa." cried Mimi.
"Bye, dad." Tai called.
"Bye, momma!" cried Kari and Keiko with tears in their eyes.
"Oh Tai, be careful." said Yuuko.
"And take care of your sisters, son!" Susumu called out to his oldest.
"We'll be all right. Don't worry. We all be back." Kari said to her parents as Keiko held her sister's hand tightly.
