I wasn't expecting to like this story but I've been pleasantly surprised. I wonder how things will go

Now onto the actual story.

Adriane spent the rest of the day with her Dogfather. The two of them just talked, and Sirius spent several hours telling her stories about her parents.

"One time James and Jack were having a mock duel, normally that would be fine if it was in a safe space. Unluckily though, they were in the middle of the Gryffindor common room and happened to hit Lily with a color-changing charm."

Adriane laughed, she was enjoying these stories of her parents. She couldn't believe some of the things they got up to. "What happened then?" She asked eagerly.

"Well, Lily-flowers skin and hair turned Slytherin green, boy was she bloody pissed. She started chasing your father and uncle around screaming and throwing stinging hexes at them." Sirius laughed carefreely.

Spending a few months in the time chamber had certainly helped Sirius heal. He no longer jumped at shadows nor was he stuck in the memories of the past when he saw his godchild.

He no longer had that haunted look about him anymore. Instead, his eyes sparkled with life and laughter once again.

"I bet the three got detention for sure." Adriane giggled, she was having a blast hearing these stories.

"Oh, for sure! Old McGonagall had to drag all three of them to the hospital wing because your mom wound up giving Jack Bunny ears and a tail, while also giving your dad cat ears and a tail." Sirius had to wipe away tears of laughter after explaining, this was just what he needed after all this time.

And to think, Jack was alive and getting treatment for what happened to him. Hopefully, he will be able to explain what happened to him soon. Sirius knew he absorbed a lot of dark magic without getting it cleaned out of him like he was supposed to. He just didn't know what made him do something this stupid.

Jack used to be an amazing curse breaker because he could absorb the dark magic on an item, thereby making it safe for others. As long as he went through a cleansing ritual once a week, depending on how much he'd taken in, he would be fine. Sometimes he had to go through it twice a week but never more than that.

He was also wondering how the hell he had forgotten Jack. James and Jack were like brothers to him, they were as close as three peas in a pod.

"Do you think Uncle Jack will be okay tomorrow?" Adriane asked after a few moments.

"Hey, he'll be okay, buttercup don't worry. You're Uncle Jack's pretty strong, he'll survive." Sirius wrapped an arm around his goddaughter hugging her and rubbed her arm to comfort her.

The two stayed like that until it was time for bed, Adriane said she would take Sirius to town tomorrow to pick up a few more clothes and some things for his room.

~Tims skip~

The next day Adriane once again went to Gotham, this time to the shopping center. She explored the shopping area with him, both of them picking up some new things. Sirius more than her since he had more he needed to get.

After that, the two magicals made a quick stop home to drop off their stuff before heading to the bank. Adriane couldn't help but feel nervous, she had so many questions running through her head.

Did the ritual work?

Would he like her?

Was he sane again?

Would they be able to explain to Batman that the Joker wasn't something he needed to worry about anymore?

To be honest, the last question was something that's been worrying her the most. Would they have to move again? She didn't want to, but she would if it was for her family. Her Uncle Jack had suffered enough in his life, she refused to let him suffer more because of the stupid bat not realizing that he was sane now.

Soon, the two were brought to Grinlast's office once again. Grinlast was already sitting behind his desk waiting for them, but it wasn't him that made the two at the door freeze.

It was the man next to him. This man had black hair that was refusing to lay down no matter how much the man tried to smooth it. His eyes were green, not the bright emerald green of Adriane but a rather nice lighter green. He had laugh lines on his face from spending a lot of time laughing and smiling.

He was wearing a simple white button-up shirt with some black slacks and shoes. This was Jack Potter and he didn't look insane anymore. He didn't have one purple eye, no, both his eyes were green.

Adriane knew the second he spotted them before he just stared before speaking. "Siri? Rosie?" His voice was soft and unsure, Adriane decided to fix that by running up to him and hugging him.

"Uncle Jack, you're better!" Adriane felt her Uncle's arms around her and finally felt completely safe. Sirius made her feel safe but not as safe as her Uncle was. With her Uncle holding her, she felt like nothing could ever touch her.

Sirius was speaking with Grinlast while Adriane was hugging her Uncle.

"Is it safe to bring him home?" Sirius asked, wanting to make sure that Jack would be safe to be around Adriane without any slip-ups.

"It is perfectly safe to bring Mr. Potter home. We have ensured that there is no lasting trace of dark magic on him, our best healers have helped repair his mind to peak condition." Grinlast reassured his best client godfather.

Sirius breathed out a sigh of relief at that before turning to watch one of his old best friends hugging his niece with a small smile. This was exactly what Adriane needed.

~In another part of the world~ (Going to refer to Adriane as Harry for the next part)

Once again a flock of owls descended on the people of magical Britain containing the Daily Prophet. People quickly relieved the owls of their burden and paid the few before opening the newspapers. This week the stories in the newspaper had been shocking, the people of magical Britain had been in an uproar. This last newspaper would be the tipping point for many of them to start despising Dumbledore and contemplate taking their children out of Hogwarts until he was gone.

POTTER LOVE POTION SCANDAL?

My dear readers, I once again bring you shocking news. I have recently been brought to light concerning our Boy-Who-Lived and, being the respectful reporter that I am, just knew I had to share this.

We are all aware of the Weasley family, a poor but wonderful family. The mother, Molly Weasley, a mother working hard to take care of her seven children.

Arthur Weasley, a father who works long hours at the ministry as the Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts. A very important department, for if a muggle got their hands on an enchanted object it could end badly for all of us.

Bill Weasley, a curse-breaker working for Gringgotts in Egypt helps to clear out old tombs and get rid of dark curses.

Charlie Weasley is a man who is spending his life taking care of Dragons because he does not want to see them all die.

Percy Weasley works in the department of magical games. He used to work under the respectful Barty Crouch until we learned of his untimely demise.

Fred and George Weasley, the jokester twins. They are good friends with Harry Potter, sticking by him throughout the entire school turning on him.

Ronald Weasley used to be the best friend of Harry Potter until he turned on him. According to eyewitnesses he has attempted to curse Harry Potter several times.

Ginerva Weasley is the youngest and only girl in the family. She also used to be friendly with our young hero but like her brother Ronald, she turned on him and tried hexing him several times until the first task.

Now, you would say that it's only the two youngsters that are the bad eggs of the family after reading all of this, correct? Wrong my dear readers, read on and learn the truth.

Molly Weasley has been giving our young hero love potions keyed to her youngest daughter in the hopes that he would marry into the family and they would then get all of his money. This is line theft and is punishable by a ten-year stay in Azkaban.

Molly Weasley's two youngest children are in on the plot as well. It also seems as if Dumbledore was aware and went along with it as well. For you see my dear readers, There was an illegal marriage contract signed for Harry Potter to marry Ginerva Weasley. It had been signed by Albus Dumbledore and Molly Weasley.

Luckily, when our hero found out he was able to cancel the contract since it was illegal and not magically binding.

So far, it seems only Molly Weasley and her two youngest are in on the plot.

The Weasley twins however were aware of it but only after their friend, Harry Potter himself, brought it to their attention. The two boys are disgusted with their mother and younger siblings and cannot wait until they are seventeen to be able to move out.

My readers, are we just going to let this slide? If this was you, or your children that these people were attempting to trap into a loveless marriage for money, would you take it lying down? NO!

My dear readers, we must stand up and fight for our heroes' rights. Enough, is enough, I say. Our Hero deserves to know that these Monsters are punished.

The article made people stand up in shock. The Aurors were already en route to the Burrow, the Weasley's home, to arrest them. They would all be questioned with the truth potion, including the Weasley twins to be sure they weren't trying to trick Harry Potter.

~With Hermione~

Hermione read the newspaper with shaking hands, thankfully it didn't say anything about her being part of the plan but she didn't hold out any hopes that she was going to be spared. She looked around for her parents and relaxed when she didn't see them, she then threw the newspaper into the fire.

She watched it burn before standing up in determination. Maybe it was time for her to take that inheritance test, it might also be time to convince her parents to move. Australia sounded like a nice place, her dad has always wanted to go visit it too.

~Ron's POV~

Ron was furious when he finally finished reading the newest newspaper. It was always about Potter! Potter this, Potter that, Oh poor Potter being abused all his life after losing his parents. So what? He deserved that money more than Potter, he wouldn't even use it. He was supposed to marry Ginny, have a kid with her, and then die at You-Know-Who's hands.

Albus Dumbledore came up with this plan himself, why was it not working? What the fuck did Potter do to mess it all up?

Ron refused to take any blame for how things went. He didn't realize that things might have stayed on the right track for him if he hadn't treated Harry the way he had after his name came out of the Goblet of Fire.

Ron had rallied the Gryffindors into a furious frenzy and managed to drive Potter out of the tower. Ron didn't know why Potter didn't forgive him after the first task, he was supposed to do whatever Ron wanted.

~Ginny's POV~

Ginny was furious when she finally got a turn to read the paper. How dare they print this stuff about her? She was the future Lady Potter, that marriage contract was not Illegal, and Albus Dumbledore was Harry's magical guardian. Sure, he might have taken that post from Sirius who was never actually convicted. Magic didn't recognize that he didn't have any rights over her future husband, but the contract had been made by Albus Dumbledore.

She just needed to find Harry and make him marry her, that should be easy. He should be at his relatives being beaten right about now.

Ginny didn't realize that Harry would never return to those awful people ever again, and even if he had, he would have been taken out of that place after the first article.

~Molly's POV~

Molly was furious, she couldn't believe that brat found out. How else would the papers have found out unless the brat had first and then told them? He was going to ruin her family's good name. Molly refused to accept that this was her own fault.

Looks like the brat needed some new, stronger, potions to make him learn to obey his betters.

~Dumbledore's POV~

Albus slammed the newspaper down on his desk in anger. How the fuck had Harry found out about the contract and potions? Wait, the second newspaper reporting on this stuff mentioned an inheritance test!

Shit, that means that the brat most likely took one as well. That means that he wasn't looking for a boy anymore. Now, Albus needed to look for a girl. Albus had no clue what Harry or rather, Rose looked like anymore.

Albus didn't even know if Rose was using the name Rose at the moment, she could have picked a different one. Okay, it shouldn't be that hard to find her, she didn't know her way around that many places.

First things first, he would have to brew a tracking potion, thankfully he still had some of the girls' blood from her many trips to the hospital wing. He just hoped that the changing of her gender didn't mess with the blood he would be using.
