Chapter 15: Two Problems, One Solution, Sonic 2059's Endgame.

2059 Parallel Science Research Lab.

Sonya: No wonder I couldn't get a reading before. That thing is a combination of Jeremiah AND Ivo! They must have fused into that thing when Valkyr pushed them through the gateway…

Sonic: My god… Any weaknesses?

Sonya: At a guess? High voltage. Right now, they're super charged with Quantum particles. If we could reverse the polarity of the gateway, and shove the Atrocity back through, the feedback could reverse the Time Storm!

Sonic 2059: Why reverse it, Sonya, when we can USE it?

Sonya snaps her head around to see a hologram of Sonic 2059 standing there.

Sonya: And here I thought you were some kind of twisted joke.

Sonic 2059: I'm as real as a heart attack. Sonya, you're on the wrong side of this. I'm NOT the villain here. I'm trying to make everything right! Don't you get it?

Sonya stood there quietly for a moment.

Sonya: Apparently I don't.

Sonic 2059: *Sigh* When the storm is fully unleashed, I'm going to harvest the Quantum energy. It will give me COMPLETE control over the time stream.

Sonya: COMPLETE CONT– what, you trying to play God?

Sonic 2059: The first creation of the universe wasn't bad. For a rough draft. I'm just going to provide it with some much needed rewrite. I can… I can make up for my original sin by saving Amy from Scourge. Not to mention Julia, Roxy, countless others! What kind of villain fixes it so that everyone gets to live happily ever after?!

Sonya: You're talking about power that no being in the cosmos should have, even with the Chaos Emeralds. You'll end up destroying yourself, but not before you've annihilated everything else!

Sonic 2059: Then we'll just have to agree to disagree. This discussion is over.

Sonya: It's over when I say it's–

The floor opened under Sonya and she fell into the hole!

Sonya: OVER?!

Sonya managed to readjust and began diving, and after a 5 minute drop, she landed on her feet. She was a smidge angry before. Now? She was MAD.

Sonya: No way it ends here. The CEO and I have some unfinished business.

Sonya stood up and then looked around, realizing she was in the Material Separation Center.

Sonya: Wait. This thing has a gravity reversal system to separate precious materials. I can use that to get back up there!

Sonya zips into the control room for the facility, flipping the switch to activate the gravity system, then looking out the window. The gravity wasn't strong enough to lift non metal objects!

Sonya: Dammit, there's not enough juice for it to lift me… Maybe there's additional power conduits around I can turn on.

Sonya looks up and sees several rooms above her current position, and she leaps right into the first one, as her jump height was more than enough. Once in there she sees the first conduit, turns it on and then looks back outside.

Sonya: Okay, that's a start. But it's gonna take more for the gravity to affect non metal objects like me.

Sonya leans out the door of the room she was in and spots the bext floor up, junping to it. She was surprised to find no guards around. Guess this facility was only active during the day, or it was automated but had manual controls in case of emergency.

It was either that, or Sonic 2059 had the bulk of the building security close to his office… As Sonya turned on the second conduit, her thoughts went to what the CEO could be hiding in his office. That was going to be her next objective.

However, as she was about to exit the room, she pauses and had a idea.

Sonya: Hey dad, you there?

Sonic: Yeah, what's up? I'm on my way back to the Gateway room but I had to take the long way.

Sonya: Good, listen… How many Chaos Emeralds do you have and which side are they from?

Sonic: Six, and they were from 2059. Why?

Sonya: Listen, I have the 7th, I've had it for a good while. If push comes to shove, I'm gonna throw it to you through the gateway, in case you need it against the Atrocity.

Sonic: Oh! Wait, is that how you saved me? With Chaos Control?

Sonya: Erm… no. I saved you with my energy grappling hook. Somehow it was able to go through the portal and grab you.

Sonic: Huh. Neat… So, you have the last one, meaning my future self cant go Super or Dark. Unless of course he realizes you have one and uses the negative energy to go Dark somehow…

Sonya: You really think that's possible?

Sonic: I've entered my Dark form without the Emeralds close by, but that happened once. If I can do that, then I guarantee he can too.

Sonya: Here's hoping… In any case, keep moving, okay?

Sonic: Way ahead of you.

Sonya: Oh uh… Stand by to potentially clear out the Failed Experiments Lab.

Sonic: Roger.

Sonya: Wait, who's Roger?

Roger C. Smith: He's talking bout me.

Sonic: Hey, Ryan is my current voice, buddy!

Roger C. Smith: Couldn't help it, sorry!

Sonya had ZERO idea what was even going on or how someone else was even in the CLP, so she just jumped into the next room and turned the last conduit on, maximizing the gravity output.

Sonya: That should do it. Now to activate the cycle and go for a ride!

She jumps down and lands, zips into the control room and turns on the gravity system. She inhales and exhales.

Sonya: If this is a bad idea? It'll be the last one I ever have… WHOA!!!

Sonya was lifted the moment she stepped out of the control room then she got hurled straight up! She recovers and faces upwards.

Sonya: Alright you raving megalomaniac! Here I come! GET READY FOR ROUND TWO!!

Sonya's buff came down from the momentum, revealing her muzzle. She was smiling as despite the fact she was in danger of being roasted alive, she was, like her dad, a thrill seeker.

So she was having the time of her fucken life right now.

She sprang back into the Para Science Lab and found the place had been overrun with Nothings, all trying to infest the lab with their own bodies, but when Sonya landed back in the room, they ALL instantly were set on trying to consume her! She zipped around, hitting each in their face, her face going from thrilled to panicked!

Sonya: Dad! Overwhelming forces here! Remember how I said to stand by to demolish the Failed Experiments Lab?!

Sonic: Way ahead of you Sonya, don't worry, I'm all over this!

Sonya: Good!!
