Gate Episode 15

Almost 2 weeks have passed since that day and As I slept Itami contacted me and said, "High Inqusistor we have a mission for you."

"whats up bro" I groaned waking up.

"we're going after that Flame dragon and require your assistance, the higher ups looked over your idea to bring Tachikomas and templars and denied it, so it will be a solo mission, you, me, Rory, Lelei and Tuka along with the dark elf" Itami said bringing up the reports.

Snickering I said, "sounds like the Japanese are more interested in the untapped oil fields above there…I'll let Pina know to postpone the peace talks for a bit while I am away on this mission, we'll take one of the dark legion jeeps in the morning, and I'll bring over some Dark Legion thermal cannons, those should do well against the dragon's tungsten like skin."

Itami chuckled and said, "what's your ETA?"

"Hmmm give me an hour I'll just fly over there" I said getting up and walking over to my armor stand to get into my combat harness.

Itami then said, "there's also an issue with Tuka…. she is convinced I am her father."

Confused I said, "correct me if I am wrong but her father died in the fires, yes?"

Itami confirmed this and said, "Kurokawa thinks it's some mental breaking point…"

"This could be bad, tell you what go to the dark legion barracks and ask one of the Templars for a neural Patch, they'll install it onto Tuka" I said as I made my way down to the armory in the castle to pick up some thermal cannons and put them into a big chest.

Confused Itami said, "why?"

"Because if Tuka uses her neural implants to check to see what happened to her father, she won't just overload the implants she'll go into mental shock and possibly go comatose" I said.

I then switched the calls to Pina and said, "tell Sugawara that the peace talks, and military contract have to wait for a while, my brother requires my assistance killing the flame dragon permanently, and I'd very much like to be there for that and these war talks got it?"

Pina acknowledged and said, "there is something else, our father has chosen Zorzel as crowning prince…if he were to succeed the throne, he would most definitely declare war on Japan again."

Sighing I said, "god damn it I have a feeling Tyuule and this Haryo spy network are using him…"

Getting in contact with my Templars I said, "tell fireteam Exodia to be on high alert around Alnis, protect Doctor Wilma and Noriko if anything seems wrong detain them, do not kill, I repeat do. Not. Kill."

The templar saluted and said, "yes High Inquisitor!"

then I switched the call back to Itami and said, "I am on my way."

As I made my way out, I looked at the Mons Custodes and said, "take care of the castle if anyone tries to take the castle execute them on the spot" before unfurling my wings and flying off getting the report from Itami as well.

Apparently, Tuka's mental state was broken by the dark elf who was asking for me, Yao Ro Dushi and for the last two days Itami had been pretending to be her father.

Rory contacted me and said, "so my dear you're coming with us?"

I nodded my head and said, "on my way over."

Rory giggled and said, "good, yes very good my sweet it has been far too long since we last fought together."

Finally landing at Alnis and deactivating my armor. I looked at Itami who was waiting with Rory, Tuka and Lelei and brought over the case with the thermal cannons and said, "these should suffice" before being dragged by Rory to a private area where she pinned me against a wall.

Looking up at me Rory said, "so sweetie you're going into battle with us?"

I nodded and said, "yes, but will you be coming with us?"

Rory giggled and said, "yes but it will cost you."

I patted her on the head and said, "I am not sure how I will pay you back, but I will, you have my word"

Rory then licked her lips and said, "I've got something in mind~" before grabbing my arm and biting me drinking up the blood that flowed in my veins.

I winced a bit, but the wound started to heal as I said, "boy I do not envy your teeth if your able to break through that layer of touch tungsten."

Rory chuckled and said, "your legionnaires always talk about signing a contract before departing for war, well this is my contract, now if you go and die in combat your soul will be eternally mine, even if they bring you back as another cyborg it won't work your soul and brain belong to me."

Giving Rory a kiss on the lips I said, "I have a feeling this contract is just the official version…I think my soul belonged to you a while ago."

Rory giggled and we went over to Join Itami and the others along with the dark elf who burst into tears saying, "finally the High Inquisitor the dark one, the demon with angelic wings my village, my home they are safe!"

Coldly I said, "do not think for a second we are friends after you broke the mind of one of my closest allies you are lucky, I don't send the Mons Custodes to finish was the dragon started!"

With that we started to make our way out to end the flame dragon once and for all and repair Tuka's broken mind.
