In Minnesota before the guys moved to Los Angelas they spent their afternoons practicing their hockey skills on a frozen lake which always worries Logan. When he notices it looks different than usual and isn’t safe to use anymore he warns his buddies multiple times. Fun turns to fear when they fall through ice and Logan is the only one who can save them

14. Chapter 14

They go home*

As the rest of the week progresses Logan starts to feel so much better and his ankle pain is decreasing everyday. By the weekend he isn't sick anymore and starts to be able to walk on his ankle but still has to wear the cast. He's happy he's able to go outside and hang out with his friends*

Friday afternoon he and the guys go down to a local arcade they've been using since 5th grade*

We should do something for Katie to cheer her up "He says"

When they're done at the arcade they go to a sports good store to look at the newest hockey gear*

Wow this stuff is expensive. I don't get this much from my allowance and my grocery store paycheck combined "Kendall says"

I am but improving what I have will help me be a professional hockey player one day. I've got to work hard and practice a lot "Kendall says"

Thanks "Kendall says" My mom would agree. If I really am gonna buy new gear I'm gonna have work some extra shifts at the grocery store and actually do my chores at home efficiently
