However when the troops moved out of the way he saw a man with a Lab Coat, blue pants, brown boots, and a collared shirt, he had a short cut, and a beard, Link was not amused by the looks of him, Zelda was also concerned, "What are you doing here?" Link asked, the Scientist then said "Better question, why did you shoot me down?" Link then said "Zip it Dr. Who, I'm the one answering the questions here, who are you and what are you doing here? This isn't safe." the Scientist then said arrogantly, "I am Dr. Linebeck XVII, Time and Space Traveller, and Brilliant Scientist, I was on my way home, until I felt a disturbance here, I came here to find out why, and then you shot me down." Link then said "Spare me your excuses Doc, did you say that you were a time traveller?" Linebeck then said "Yes, I did." Link then pointed his gun at him "You are going to be joining me on my quest to get the Time Ore, and if you double cross me then you're dead meat pal." Linebeck then said "Y-Yes." Link put away his gun and said "Let me see your Time Travelling device." Linebeck then said "I don't have it, because you jerks shot down my Airship." Link grabbed his detector, and saw no signs of Linebeck's Time Travelling Device.
"Did you lose it?" Link asked Linebeck then said "No you dimwit, we're going to have to find it." Link then said "Good that Time Ore is not going to be kept waiting." Linebeck then said "Did you say Time Ore twice?" Link then said "Yeah? I'm trying to get it to forge the Time Sword, and kill Princess Zelda so I can avenge my mother's death, what do you need some for?" Linebeck then said "You can't forge the Time Sword." Link then said "The Forgemaster back at HQ is a skilled one, so he can be able to forge the Time Sword." Linebeck then said "No way this can't be forged by a mere Hylian, or other Race." Link then said "Bullshit!" Linebeck then said "It's true I tell you, the Time Ore is extremely delicate, and if it is not forged properly, then the Time Sword will easily lose its edge and won't work." Link then said "So you're suggesting that I give up?" Linebeck then said "No, I know a guy who can be able to forge the Time Sword for you." Link then said "Who?" Linebeck then said "Well he's an Alchamoze." Link asked "An Alchamoze?" Linebeck then said "I'll show you once you get my Time Parts back." Link then gave orders "Take him back to the Airship." the guards cuffed Linebeck and Link gone back to the airship, Zelda then said "Are you being a little too harsh?" Link turned and said "What?" Zelda then said "You see he's a Time Traveller he might be able to help us look for the Time Ore."
"He can't be trusted to be a free man, he's a petty scientist." Zelda then said "Just give him a chance Link, ask him how to find the Time Ore." Link then said "And have him take it for himself?" Zelda then said "What if he doesn't?" Link stopped for a moment, and Zelda gone further "You're going to have to trust him it is the only way we're going to find the Time Ore." Link then said "Fine." when they got back to the Airship they took off, when they were in the air, Link was seeing a heat signal and then once they landed, Link exited the Airship.
When they arrived back at HQ, Link interrogated Linebeck at the Boardroom, and threw him on the Computer "Show us, where is the Mines of Time?" Link asked, Linebeck then said "Alright, I'll show you where it is." Link was surprised, the Mines of Time were at Death Mountain, "Death Mountain?" Linebeck then said "Yes, that is where the Mines of Time are, but we can't just go willy nilly into the Mountain, because it's guarded by a Time Barrier." Link then said "Well how do we break it?" Linebeck then said "We need to time travel to the past, present and Future, to destroy the generators to be able to reach the Mines of Time, but they are not on the map in the present, only the Venus Cavern which was formerly the Goron Mines after a huge explosion in the volcano happened is visible right now." he entered in a Flash Drive, "You see this is the Map the Alchemoze gave me, in order to get to the Mines of Time, we need to travel to the past and go into the Mercury Ruins in the Lost Woods, next is here in the present where the Venus Cavern is at Death Mountain, and finally the Mars Power Plant at Lake Hylia in the Future, once all the barriers are broken, the Mines of Time will be visible to us and we'll find the Time Ore."
Link then said "But how are we going to Time Travel?" he saw the Stopwatch of Light glow, Linebeck was startled, "Is that a Time Crystal in your Stopwatch?" Link then said "What are you talking about my mother gave it to me as a parting gift." Linebeck then said "So the Princess was..." Link then pointed his gun at him and said "What did you say about Princess Zelda?" Linebeck then said "Nothing, it's a different Princess!" Link then said "I see." he put his gun away and then said "What do you know about Time Crystals?" Linebeck then said "I had one to power my Time Machine but since you shot it down I lost it." Link then said "Shit...Well do you have parts for it?" Linebeck then said "Yes, I saw your men nab some of it." Link then said "Well they're under investigation." a Korok Soldier said "Boss, we've repaired the Airship with the parts from that ship." Link then said "Good, I'll be out there in a moment." Linebeck then said "Wait, I'm coming with you." Link then stopped and then remembered what Zelda said "Fine, just don't step out of line." Linebeck then said "Y-Yes Sir."
Link got the Airship ready and brought Zelda with him, Linebeck sat down on the Pilot Seat, and said "Welp, use the Stopwatch and we're off." Link then inserted the Stopwatch in the Airship's Time Machine and then it generated power, it started up and then Linebeck said "And we're off." then Linebeck went at hyper speed and went to the Past.

I'd gotta admit this story was also inspired by one of if not my favorite game of all time Chrono Trigger, I also added Linebeck into the mix because he's one of my favorite Zelda Characters, and funny thing Linebeck had a family that inherited his name, and his grandson is literally named Linebeck III.
