"I'm afraid there is no hope for him."

Izuku Midoriya, a 4-year-old boy with green eyes and a bush of green hair, walked alongside his mom. Heading home from the hospital after discovering that he would never get a Quirk, let alone complete his dream of becoming a hero.

After conducting countless tests, to find out what his Quirk was, the hospital came up empty-handed. The Midoriyas excused themselves and headed home.

As if to spite them even further; their car had stalled in the hospital parking lot, causing them to walk home in the rain that had begun the moment they stepped out of the hospital.

The only saving grace they had was that they brought their raincoats and an umbrella in case of an emergency, a weather forecast earlier that day warning them about the coming storm. But even then, they may as well have been without them.

Inko Midoriya, mother of Izuku Midoriya, had tears falling from her eyes. Although with the rain that occasionally hit her face, no one would be able to tell.

The father, Hisashi Midoriya, was much more frustrated. He felt sadness for his wife and son and anger at himself for getting that crummy car from that dealership. He'd have to make a demand for his money back at some point.

Izuku himself was in an entirely different ballpark, he had a smile on his face, eyes wide open, like any other hyperactive 4-year-old should. But anyone could tell that both were empty, with no happiness to be found in either. He was only self-aware enough to hold hands with his parents, stopping and walking when they did, half under the umbrella, half under the taunting rain.

Luckily, they were only a few blocks away from their home. If only their home got them out of more than just the rain.

"Huh?"

Izuku blinked and turned his head down the street, away from his home.

"…Izuku?" His mom asked, noticing her son stopping.

"There's…" Izuku started, before letting go of her hand and began running down the street he was facing.

"Wha-!? Izuku! Where are you going!?" his parents shouted, not wanting their son to get a cold from staying in the rain for so long.

Izuku kept running, however, something pulled to him, calling to him. As he was approaching the corner, he heard a slight rustling. A little weary of the sound but still beckoned by whatever was calling him, he slowed his approach. Turning the corner, he saw several cardboard boxes stacked around each other like a fort, he didn't know why it was there until he heard another rustling sound coming from inside the box.

Growing ever more curious, Izuku approached the open side to see what was making the noise, only to freeze the moment he saw what was inside and step backwards.

"IZUKU! Where are you going!? Wha-…" Inko called out before her voice got caught in her throat, her and Hisashi also freezing upon seeing the ones who were hiding out in the boxes.

The first one Izuku had seen was a very thin boy in a much too big oraqnge and blue hoodie, which now fit him as he had changed into a middle aged, unshaven and thick lipped after letting out a 'yip!' at Izuku. He was however, quick to stand in front of what looked like the youngest of the box's inhabitants; a toddler aged girl with brown hair in two pigtails.

A blonde boy with an odd tattoo on his forehead, gripping what looked like a knife that had been broken in half had leapt in front of them. Standing beside him was a boy with red eyes and silder hair and sharp teeth, licking his cracked lips. Beside him was a raven haired girl with a smirk on her face, being held onto a boy who seemed tobe shrinking by the minute, Finally, a squinting boy with pink hair.

"Um, excuse me? Children? Where are your parents?" Inko gently called out.

"No idea." The man-boy said, the baby girl babbling and whimpering, only to calm when the shrinking boy patted her head.

"Threw me out." The silver haired boy and shrinking boy said.

"Dead." The Ravenette girl explained bluntly.

"If you got a problem with us…!" The broken knife boy snarled…only for his stomach and the stomach of the other kids to growl.

Izuku reached into his pocket and handed them a box of Pocky.

"I know it's not much, but a future hero needs to help anyone in distress." The boy smiled sweetly.

The box appeared in the silver haired boy's hand and the kids leapt onto the box,m fiughting over and grabbing some pocky. Hisashi and Inko coudln;t help but coo and smirk when the Ravenette actually shared one pocky.

"…Ank you!" The baby girl babbled, making the others gasped.

"D-Diane just said her first word!" The man-boy, now looking like boy, beamed as he nuzzled her nose. He then turned to bow to the Midoriyas. "I…I thank you. I'm Rey Max. The silver haired one is Kit Diskin..,"

"Hey…" He managed, trying to look suave.

"The other girl is Landa Aluwin, the shrinking guy is Kyle Leo…"

"A pleasure and our gratitude.." They said together.

"The blonde is our captain Bryce Dias and the squinting boy is Caleb Tome."

"You're pretty." Bryce smiled at Inko, only to be jumped by Diane.

"No! Cap only like Diane!" Shed babbled.

"…Lucky bastard." Rey pouted.

"Sis and lolicon." Caleb said bluntly. "Thank you for the company and snack. You may go on your way, as is the norm."

Inko and Hisashi looked at each other. No words needed to be said.

"Would you all like something to eat? A bath? A bed?" Inko asked.

The kids looked at her and Hisashi

SIN

Arriving at the Midoriya household, the group of ten was in a much better mood than they were earlier today; the mother and father, proud that their son hadn't lost his dream of being a Hero despite what was told to him, the son, who was glad that he could at least make one person comfortable like a Hero should do, and lastly, the seven children, who were happy for the first time in a long time as they had found a family who displayed genuine kindness towards those they didn't know.

Brcye and Kit played 'Hero' with Izuku, Caleb often butting in with his own ideas for strategy as Landa and Kyle tried to help with Inko, Landa revealing an apparent Gravity quirk…and a time quirk….And Diane waddled all over the apartment, distracting Hisashi and serving as someone for the boys to save.

"It's done!" Inko said with a large smile on her face, a tray with ten bowls of katsudon in one hand and a pitcher of water in the other.

Izuku was bouncing up and down in his seat with unrestrained glee as Hisashi smiled and kissed his wife.

"Smells wonderful, honey."

The seven couldn't help but also enjoy the divine smell coming from the dishes. After giving everyone their own bowls and filling their glasses with water, Inko sat down beside her husband and son, her own bowl in front of her. She clasped her hands together, saying "Itadakimasu," before digging in, Izuku and Hisashi following her lead.

The seven looked at each other before slowly clasping their hands together, saying 'Itadakimasu' as well before eating.

Diane was a sloppy eater, which forced Rey to feed her, although he revealed a 'teddy' related to his Quirk that kept her distracted long enough to eat. Kit and Bryce looked at Inko as if she was a goddess for giving them such lovely food, while Caleb perfectly tasted each and every ingruidant and how it was prepped. Finally Landa and Kyle spoke as if they were cooking critics, adoring and sobbing at the perfection of the food.

It seemed that, for better or for worse, the Midoriya Clan had gotten bigger.

Knightmare Lord A/N:

Me and Mrotrax, inspired by a story we saw on AO3, have decided to make our own version with seven kids who are the reincarnations of the Seven Deadly Sins of the Kingdom of Liones!

Despite how hunky-dory things are right now, things are gonna get a bit worse before they get any better. We're trying to go for a more Hurt/Comfort/Drama style of writing while still keeping our witty comedic charm.

Alright Mrotrax, tell us what you want to say!

Mrotrax A/N:

A new challenge and change of pace between me and Knightmare Lord, hope you like the first and calmest chapter!
