Let's be aware of something, I wrote this a year ago, or more, not exactly sure when. The plot I some how still had, but apparently at some point I started to write this, just never finished it. I'll post what I have within the coming days, but I won't be finishing it until I start posting another story. Any and all mistakes are mine, and no I won't be fixing it at this time.

It was Monday afternoon when Danny walked into his home with Sam and Tucker in high spirits. Before making his way up to his room to relax with his friends, he got pulled aside by his mother. Coming into the living room sat his father, mother, Jazz, and Vlad. Danny instantly tensed, his arms crossed in front of him as he stood by his family.
"Danny, please sit." Maddie ordered, as she sipped on a cup of tea.
"What's wrong?" he looked between the four of them.
"Honey, you've barely passed this year and we're worried. Is everything okay?"
"Uh, yeah. Everything's fine." he blinked, well aware of his near fail. Only some last minute extra credit and a ghost free week saved him from repeating the grade. "I'll do better next year. I promise." He stood up to head back to his friends.
"Danny, sit back down."
Danny stilled by his father's order, something tells him that this isn't going to end well.
"I'm sorry, Danny," Maddie began, "but Ishiyama came forward about your grades and suggests on further schooling somewhere else." seeing his shocked state, she smiled. "Just for the summer."
"Uh, Jazz can tutor me!" he nearly yelled, desperately.
"I have college."
"Oh, right."
Vlad stood up, "Your mother called me for some ideas on the suggestion. I made a few calls and it seems there is a family in Paris that will take you in as their school year ends. The son is very smart and can help you excel."
Danny's eyes widened, "Wait, Paris? As in France?"
"Of course," Vlad gave him a strained smile, "what other Paris would there be?"
"Maybe somewhere closer would help." Jazz stated, attempting to influence her parents' decision through their own trust in her.
"Another culture may put things into perspective." he countered. "Besides, I'm doing business over there."
"Poor Danny might be targeted because of the akumas." Jazz ignored the annoyed glare from beside her.
Vlad's smile fell, "But the…heroes…fix everything in the end, all damage reversed." Maddie and Jack didn't look convinced. "You could always train him with non-lethal weapons for him to take with as a pre-caution." he hid a smirk as Jack's face lit up.
"There's no way no Fenton will be defenseless while away!" Jack yelled standing up, "Even the uh," he paused in thought, "what were they called again?"
Danny facepalmed, Jazz sighed, and Vlad rolled his eyes as Maddie answered, "Akuma, dear."
"Right! No akuma will touch Danny once trained with Fenton Gear!" he began to run from the group, "I'll go get that sorted!"
Maddie frowned, still unsure, but sighed, they still had a week for her to think it over. "I should make sure he grabs what is okay." She looked back at her son before leaving.
Once the two parents left the room, the two kids turned to the last smiling adult.
"What are you up to?" Danny glared at him, raising a hand with an ecto-ball in his palm.
"Can't I care about your education, Daniel?"
"You don't normally care unless you can get something out of it." he growled back.
"Oh, Daniel. Not everything I do has something to make you my son."
Jazz joined in on the glaring.
"Which will never happen."
"You say that now." Vlad turned away, heading for the door. "Be packed by sunday morning, Little Badger."
"He's up to something." Danny mumbled.
"Maybe, while you're away you should just do as asked and not butt heads with Vlad." Jazz suggested, "Lay low so mom and dad believe in you next year when you get back."
"Jazz." he whined at her logic.
"Vlad's probably doing this to get you riled up, which you can't do while you're over there."
"Alright, I'll try not to."
Jazz smiled as she walked into the kitchen.
Danny took a deep breath and released it before heading up to his room. He found Sam on her laptop and Tucker on the title screen of Doom.
"What was that about?" Sam asked as she looked at the screen.
"You already listened, didn't you?" Danny noticed the small cringe. "What do we do?"
"I think Jazz is right." Tucker stated, shocking the two. "Lay low, dude."
"The ghosts, the town-"
"Once they realize you're not here, they'll leave." Sam looked to him as Danny's eyes lower to the ground. "Any of the lesser ghosts, we can handle. There's also Valerie and your parents."
"What if Vortex or Undergrowth show up? Last time Nocturn was here, we barely won."
"Danny," Sam sighed, keeping her voice soft to soothe his worries. "Don't let 'what ifs' get to you. It's just going to stress you out further."
"Fine."
"We know you don't like it, dude, but try to make the best of it."
Danny met Tucker's eyes as he gained the game over screen, one look already gave him the question. "No." Tucker's face fell as he restarted the game back to the first level. Looking back to Sam concentrating on her task as she typed into the computer. "What are you doing?"
"Looking up on the 'heroes of Paris' Jazz mentioned."
"Oh, them."
"You know something not related to ghosts?" Tucker teased, before once again failing a level, "Oh, come on."
"It was in passing while Jazz was doing some of her work in psychology. Something about young heroes taking on terroristic threats."
"Like you?"
Danny threw an eraser at him. "So what is the big deal?" he sat next to her as Tucker rolled over to them, nearly tipping the chair.
"These two are Ladybug and Chat Noir, they protect Paris by the villians Hawkmoth and Mayura who are after their miraculous, two magical jewelry that gives them their power." she zoomed into the picture of the blog she found. A pair of red earings with five black spots like those on a dice. The other was a black ring with claws on the four corners and a green cat's paw in the enter. "Hawkmoth can make supervillains from butterflies, called akumas, and Mayura can give them an object to help with feathers called amoks. The victims have no memory of the Akumatizations."
"So, it's like someone has been overshadowed? Does it say why Hawkmoth wants the miraculous?"
No, no one really knows. The heroes probably do but think it's best if the rest of the populations doesn't."
"Alright, I'll try to behave. But I make no promises if ghosts get involved."
"That's fair."
"Oh, yeah, I'm leaving Sunday morning."
"Plenty of time to start learning the language, I'll send you something."
"That's going to take-"
His door was slammed open by an eager Jack who grabbed his son's arm and pulled him out the door. "Sorry, kids, got things to do!" he shouted back.
Sam and tucker looked at each other.
"Movie marathon at my place?" Sam asked, Tucker nodded as he helped Sam pack up her notes and laptop.
I think at this point, I had Danny, Sam, and Tucker at an older age around maybe 15-16, even though in the show he's 14. Up to chapter 8 is fully typed, and all this took a total of 16 hours, which was done on my days off. Not the story I wanted to work on.
"What other Paris is there?" Kentucky, Illinois, Texas, Maine, Pennsylvania have a place named Paris, pretty sure there's more...just, I had to take a deep breath after that line.
