Chapter: 1 - Part 1 - The Blonde Amongst Warriors
XxX~ ( Kyoshi Island ) ~XxX
A bunch of kids, all were wearing blue with either brown or black hair. They were surrounding a single teen, one with mid-length blonde hair, emerald eyes and whisker marks on his face. He wore a green bandana with a silver plate in the center of the cloth, matching the color of his eyes. He was telling them stories about his travels across the world.
A little girl raised her hand.
"Yes, Koko?" The boy said cheerfully, the now named Koko lowered her hand with a smile on her face.
"Naruto, can you tell us the story of how you were in the Fire Nation?" She asked excitedly, much of the other kids showed the same exuberance.
"Oh, if you's wanna hear it that much then I'll tell you." The blonde said, while ruffling the little girl's hair.
"Yeah!" The kids cheered but the village chief came walking to the group. He watched on as the teenager regaled his story back in the Fire Nation.
"I am originally Fire Nation, but I'm an earthbender." He said, some who already knew this didn't pay it any mind but the others who weren't aware had their jaws on the floor.
"My mother, Akame Kyо̄, was a close descendant of our late Avatar-Kyoshi. My father, Minato, was the grandson of Roku, along with his sister, my aunty, Ursa." Everyone awed at his lineage, he was the descendant of two Avatars.
"I have a brother, his name is Menma and he is a firebender." Everyone gasped at this new information. "Yes, and due to his strong ties to Oldman-Roku, he was a talented firebender." Naruto explained with a smile, a boy raised his hand.
"Yup?"
"What strong ties do you have to Lady-Kyoshi?" The boy asked, Naruto looked at the statue of his great, great, great, great grandmother.
"Well kid, I don't know. I thought coming here would give me the answers to why my earthbending is so strong." Naruto said, a little toddler came crawling to him, he picked her up. "Well what might your name be, cute thing?" Naruto cooed, poking the kids nose, a delighted giggle was his reward.
"That's Milo." Koko said, her fingers pointing at the baby.
"Hello Milo. Well when I departed from the Fire Nation, my little brother tattled on me, now I'm banished and a fugitive to the nation. But I'm totally ok with that, I still love my brother very much." Naruto said fondly, another idea popped into his head.
"There was something else I used to do in the Fire Nation. I used to prank the public, I would throw rotten tomatoes from the garbage at the school council, when they saw I did I quickly escaped from the zipline me and my brother made that led straight to my house on my moms bed. And one time, I zipped in on something that I probably wasn't supposed to see." Naruto scratched his head, sheepishly with a tiny red blush. The crowd of kids laughed, giggled and cracked up.
"Then what?" One of Koko's friend's asked, Naruto thought about it, the way he got off the Fire Nation was a bit too graphic for these kids. So he'll sugar it down.
"Then, I left, I made sure to bring some rocks with me just in case someone tried following me, which someone did." Naruto groaned, the girls giggled while the boys nodded in understanding, they tried running from their mommie's but she would always find them.
"Yeah, it was my girlfriend, she tried coming along but I told her no. She was so upset and so persistent that I had to knock her out and travel back to the Fire Nation and put her to bed." Naruto groaned again. "Then when I returned to my boat, it was sunk." He laughed when Milo pulled his side hairs. "Ow!" He yelped and the baby laughed loudly, clapping her itty bitty hands.
"How'd you get off the Island?" A small boy asked.
"Well, Konohamaru, I met a friend some time before I left. She is a wolf-fish, I named her Dakota: She was the reason I made it off the Island." Naruto said, the kids' eyes showed adoration and awe.
"Where'd you go after that?" Konohamaru asked, Naruto placed a finger over his mouth, in a shushing gesture.
"I can't tell, I promised I wouldn't tell people." Naruto said cryptically.
"Can we meet her?" Koko asked, eager to meet this eel-hound. Naruto grinned and placed his mouth to his closed hands with his pinky facing up, he blew hard and a whistle of some sort came out.
In the distance the kids heard a roar, they all quickly hid behind Naruto. The blonde boy placed Milo down in Konohamaru's arms and took his vest off, shaking his arms about before positioning himself in a spear tackle stance.
Out of the forest a four legged beast ran out to the clearing. She was a grey wolf with fur that resembled scales, a fish fin protruded out of her spine and a fish tail was attached to her wolf tail. She was sporting tufts of fur on her head with fins on her cheeks, right underneath her gills.
He ran his fastest to the beast before the animal pounced on him, he kicked the creature off him and they started duking it out.
The kids cheered for Naruto even when he was getting thrown around. 5 minutes later Naruto was wrapped in the animal's tail and being licked constantly.
"Everyone, meet Dakota, my loyal companion." Naruto grinned and got licked again. Naruto got himself out of Dakota's grasp and brought her over to the group of kids who shied away from the scary thing.
Milo crawled towards the creature, staring at it in wonder, she reached out for it, Dakota sensed the call and pushed her nose into the baby's hand.
"She's still young, they usually grow up to eight feet tall and 25 feet in length. But she's only 14 feet in length and five feet in height." Naruto informed the group, upon hearing this the kids' jaws fell agape. The village leader came walking in, petting the eel-hound before moving in front of the children.
"Ok, that's enough stories for one day." Oyaji said, the kids groaned and whined, some even started cursing the old man. "Fine, I'll tell you a story. There was a man that came from a village, his friend told about their children and requested him to go and fetch them. You wanna know what they said?" Oyaji asked the kids.
"What?" The kids asked eagerly.
"GET YOUR BUTTS HOME! NOW!" Came the voice and 15 angry mothers, the kids did so accordingly, their heads lowered to the ground, before leaving, they all pet Dakota.
"A bit of a coincidence don't you think?" Naruto asked the village elder. Oyagi shrugged.
"I try my best to be spontaneous." Oyaji said, Naruto nodded and looked at the sky.
"Looks like I better start heading home." Naruto said, he waved Dakota away after giving her three sugar cubes.
"You're not thinking about sleeping at my house to get closer to Suki are you?" Oyagi asked half threateningly and half jokingly. Suki was his daughter, his pride and joy, and he will not let this rough, disrespectful oaf date his daughter.
"What? No! Don't say such ridiculous things, she's like, my best friend, like." Naruto sputtered out, Oyagi sent him the "I'm watching you." gesture with his hand.
"Good, because if I find you, I'm feeding you to the Unagi." Oyagi huffed when Naruto smiled.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you had her in your back pocket. How is Unagi anyway?" Naruto asked cheekily, Oyagi just walked away.
"Oh yeah, I got him." Naruto said before following after him. He was headed for a specific location, the dojo, while walking up the slope on stairs that led to the dojo, a fond memory came to him from as a kid.
Flashback – 3 years ago
A younger Naruto was walking through the forest of Kyoshi Island. He wore a black kung fu sleeveless top with orange lining. He had burnt orange tracksuit pants and grey wrappings around his ankles and wrists; he wore sandals. Naruto had a black cloth on his forehead with a silver plate in the center.
"Hey Suki! Let's fight!" Naruto screamed, shaking his fist in an attempt to invoke a challenge.
"I've already beaten you, the only chance you beat me is if you use your bending." Suki said. Suki wore a blue shirt and pants to match with sandals, she had her hair in her usual style.
"But now I'm stronger! See!" He bended a boulder from the ground before lifting it into the air, he tossed the rock away, creating a huge dust cloud wherever it landed.
"Fine." She said and got into her fighting stance. Naruto did the same, he sported a boxer's stance, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Suki pulled a rock from her pocket and threw it in the air, watching as it slowly fell towards the earth. Once it did they both sprinted for one another. Suki went to sweep his legs by sliding on the ground which he jumped to evade.
Naruto meant to punch her in the face but he fainted for the head and captivated the sudden distraction of Suki and kicked her stomach. She kicked back up from the earth, quickly executing a back-handspring and mid-directed Naruto punch, making him fall on his back.
She went into an axe kick which made Naruto roll away, kicking her legs from underneath her, he quickly got up.
Suki used her surroundings to her advantage and stepped on a rock to gain airborne, Naruto was ready and blocked her kick, with her leg caught she twisted her body, gravity doing it's magic by pulling back to earth, placing her hands on the ground, she kicked upwards; hitting Naruto away, releasing her leg in the process.
Naruto grinned, wiping some blood from his mouth, he saw Suki grin as well: This was fun for the both of 'em.
Flashback end
He snorted a laugh. "Classic." Naruto reached the training den and stood in the doorway watching Suki undress and remove her make-up, his eyes lingered on her rather shapely hips and round behind.
She replaced her armor with clothes, she wore a blue shirt with black shorts with sandals. Her hair was brown and neck length, she owned ocean blue hues.
Turning around she was startled by Naruto's sudden appearance.
"What are you doing here?!" She whispered loudly, she pulled him inside before looking left-to-right for any onlookers and shut the doors. Turning around she pushed Naruto against the door with an angry face.
"Well you look happy." Naruto joked nervously, he never knew Suki would get this angry.
"Did you watch me undress?" She asked, her eyes turning icy, Naruto nervously smiled.
"Maybe a little…" He pulled his hand to her head in a pinching motion, showing how little he had seen.
"Naruto…" She said threateningly.
"Alot." Naruto's shoulders slumped as a trickle of blood dripped from his nose, Suki blushed seeing the blood, she thought those nose bleeds from impure thoughts were only in books and scrolls. She wiped the blood away.
"Good." Suki gave a small smile, a wide goofy grin came onto Naruto's face, he went to kiss her but she stopped him. "You don't mind doing "it" in front of your great grandmother's painting? My gosh, I didn't know you were so dirty." She teased, Naruto looked behind him, looking into the eyes of Granny-Kyoshi. He could only imagine what she would do if he made out in her shrine.
"Let's go to my house." Suki said, Naruto nodded eagerly.
After bidding the Kyoshi shrine a farewell, Naruto and Suki ventured to her home, while she went through the door, Naruto went through her window.
"Hi Dad." Suki greeted Oyagi, and the old man waved. Suki gave him a kiss on the cheek and he patted her head.
"Are you hungry dear? I've made smoked sea-slug." Oyagi asked, Suki nodded but thought about Naruto.
"Yes please Dad, could you do me two servings?" Suki asked, Oyagi gave her a hard stare.
"You don't have a boy up there do you?" He asked threateningly, Suki's face went white before gaining its usual color.
"No, not me." She said smoothly with a smile at the end, she exited the living area/kitchen and retired in her room which was on the second floor.
Her room was a mixture of Japanese folklore and modern day, her futon was in the corner of her room, one half of the area strictly inspired by her training with the sword, fan, and Avatar-Kyoshi.
"Naruto!" She whispered loudly. "Where are you?" Suki asked, as if on cue Naruto dropped from out of the ceiling, somewhat startling Suki.
"Surprise?" He grinned, Suki shook her head. They heard knocks on the door and Naruto quickly hid under the covers of her futon.
Opening the door Suki saw Oyagi with a worried expression.
"What was all that ruckus?" Oyagi asked, Suki turned around looking to see if Naruto had a good hiding spot, she however face faulted when she saw him peek out from the covers.
'That'll have to do.' Turning back to her father and his worried expression.
"Sorry, I tripped and hit my head on the floor." Suki said, rubbing the fake injury.
"Oh no, come, let me see." He said, trying to move Suki's hand out of the way.
"No, no, no! It hurts, like real bad!" She said, but the opposite happened of what she wanted.
ACHOO!
Oyagi looked inside her room, seeing that her bed was a little… fuller than usual. "Suki, what was that?" Oyagi asked.
"Ahh, nothing." Oyagi pushed his way through the Suki and investigated her room, he pulled the covers off her bed and saw nothing, he looked underneath her futon, for some reason.
"Dad, there's nothing here." Suki reassured him, but Oyagi didn't stop.
"I know he's here, Naruto! Where are you?!" Oyagi yelled, he turned around and Naruto was glued to his back, following the slightest of movements, showing that he is exceptional at stealth.
"He's not here, he's at Lady-Kyoshi's house, you know, the one that was gifted to her last descendants?" Suki reminded him.
"Oh, but of course. How silly of me." He walked out of the room, leaving Suki and Naruto. The blonde flopped on her bed, enjoying the sinking feeling when his body made contact with the mattress, Suki took her place next to him, resting her head in his muscular arm, using the appendage as her personal pillow.
"So, I'm guessing you want to go fast with this new "friendship" huh?" Suki asked, feeling somewhat happy and somewhat violated with what his answer might be.
"Nah, we can take it slow. Just jumping into dessert isn't my type of thing, having dinner is always better before something amazing." The blonde earthbender said slyly, his confidence grew when he saw Suki's cheeks gain a soft hue.
Suki also did enjoy that little compliment he just sent her. Dessert as in her, and dinner as in just enjoying the quality time of being in a relationship.
"I'm ok with that." Suki said, a small smile gracing her beautiful face, leaning up, she pecked Naruto on the cheek. He leaned down to her ear and whispered.
"And if I wasn't mistaken, there's smoked sea-slug cooking down stairs?" Naruto asked and Suki expected another kiss but was thrown off. She got off her bed, and also Naruto, she already felt out of place not being in his arms. She pointed to him annoyedly.
"I kiss you and all you do is ask for food?!" She almost yelled, Naruto laughed, his sides hurting. Suki huffed, pointing her head upwards with her arms crossed over her c-cup borderline d-cup bosom.
"If it was on the lips maybe- OW!" He was kicked for that.
Oh brother...
Timeskip - 2 months
Naruto was on the shoreline of Kyoshi Island, Dakota sleeping behind him, sitting in a lotus position. Naruto is looking at the sky, as if he was waiting for someone.
He caught a glimpse of a flying bison, he nodded, standing up he nudged Dakoda into the water, which she did almost instantly seeing her father's expression.
"Finally." Naruto said, he watched as the white furry bison with arrows on its body landed. Three passengers jumped off the beast, one was a male wearing blue with tightly tied hair, another male wearing orange and yellow robes with blue arrow tattoos. The last to come off was a girl wearing blue with a beautiful betrothal necklace.
"We just made a pit stop yesterday. Shouldn't we get a little more flying done before we camp out?" Sokka of the Water Tribe said. Naruto came walking from around the bison and stood in front of the trio. He coughed in his hand to get their attention.
"Who are you?" Sokka asked, readying his machete and Water Tribe club. Aang's pacifist nature caused him to not be immediately on guard but he fished for his staff. Katara didn't have much experience with waterbending so she just put her fists up.
"My name is Naruto, and you're the Avatar." Naruto said, motioning to Aang.
"I am? And your point?" Aang asked.
"I've been waiting for you, a year ago, I was greeted by my great, great, great, great grandmother: Avatar-Kyoshi." Hearing this sent Aang into shock, a year ago he wasn't even out of the ice, and this blonde guy is saying he got a message from his past life?! That's just crazy talk!
"Your grandmother, you say?" Katara asked, lowering her hands. Sokka didn't let up one bit.
"Yup, well, tell me when you guys leave, tell me. I'll be coming with you." Naruto said, waving over his city.
"WHAT?!" Sokka screamed. Aang proceeded to take his clothes off, leaving him in his brown underwear.
"Well wasn't he nice?" Katara said, in the water, a giant fish jumped to the surface of the water before reentering the ocean, resulting in a huge splash.
"See, that's why we're here. To ride the elephant koi, and for Naruto I guess." Aang said, Sokka grew an annoyed face.
"Hey, why are we letting random strangers in on our adventure? We need to get to the North Pole, and that means we need to spend money, money we don't have for four people, three maybe, but four? No way!" Sokka said gesturing an x for no with his arms.
"Come on, he's the first person we've met that's actually shown us kindness, let's bring him along." Aang whined, jumping in the water before jumping back out screaming 'COLD!' and falling back in the water.
"He's right Sokka, Naruto is the only person we've met that hasn't tried to kill us." Katara pointed out, Sokka grumbled.
Aang can be seen surfing on an elephant koi, holding the fin as leverage.
"Oh come on, you gotta be kidding me?" Sokka said.
"He looks pretty good out there." Katara noted, Sokka crossed his arms.
"You kidding me, the fish is doing all the work." He said, Katara rolled her eyes before getting a glimpse of Appa about to digest a tree branch.
"No, Appa! Don't eat that!" Katara left the scene to dispose of this problem Appa just created.
When Aang saw Katara had left he groaned in disappointment. "Oh man" Two koi fish suddenly change direction, including Aang's, leaving behind one koi fish that continues to race forward. A dark shadow of a large body appears beneath the water's surface directly behind the koi fish.
"There's something in the water!" Sokka said, fully alarmed. One koi fish attempts to leap out of the water only to be pulled back under the surface by something to what's happening to the other koi, Aang continued surfing on the koi fish's back, smiling widely, unaware of the danger. Katara reappears next to her brother again while Momo is screeching in alarm.
"What's wrong?" She asked worried, seeing Momo jumping up and down got her worried.
"Aang's in trouble. Aang!" Sokka yelled at the top of his lungs, cupping his hands over his mouth to amplify his voice.
"Get out of there!" Katara yelled to Aang who still grips the dorsal fin of the fish, his smile having now faded. He looks surprised at the commotion on the shore. Looking over at the shore upon hearing some comotion, Katara and Sokka motioned for him to exit the water by flailing their arms and calling to him from far away.
With Naruto
After Naruto met Team Avatar he retreated to the mountains, a special spot he and Suki would usually hangout. Once he reached the mountain he already saw Suki there. He fell on his back, the prickly, but soft grass tickling his ears.
Suki gently laid down, grabbing his head before placing it in her lap, gently running her hands through hair.
"Can you tell me about Ty-Lee?" Suki asked; when she agreed to become Naruto's girlfriend he told her that he already had a girlfriend, a girl in the Fire Nation that he still talks to via scrolls in bottles sent by Dakota. Suki was fine with it, deep down she loves Naruto, and another girl won't change that.
"Sure. For starters she's an acrobatic, she's skilled in hand-to-hand combat and is very energetic and loving. Ty-Lee grew up with six identical sisters: Ty-Lin, Ty-Lat, Ty-Lao, Ty-Liu, Ty-Lum, and Ty-Woo. Their situation made them compete for attention and strive for individuality, and so they each chose a speciality in which they would develop themselves and no other sister could follow them; Ty Lee chose acrobatics." Naruto explained what he remembered about Ty-Lee's home life she used to vent to him about.
"Wow, wonder why they all have 'Ty' at the start of their names?" Suki wondered with a laugh.
"Yeah, she's great." Naruto said dreamily, Suki leaned down, pressing her soft, honey scented lips down on the blonde's forehead. Breaking the kiss Suki looked at the ocean, seeing the Unagi's dorsal fin poking out of the water.
"I have to go!" She got up, unintentionally making Naruto donk his head on the grass.
"Aww!" He groaned, there also happened to be a stone right underneath his head.
Back at shore
Aang smiled, believing them to be cheering him on, waves only to suddenly be hurled off the koi fish, into the water when the koi fish is being pulled under. Aang was flailing his arms and legs while flying through the sky.
Aang plunged back into the water as the koi fish he was mounted atop disappeared under the water. Aang resurfaces and gasps for breath as the massive dorsal fin of the unknown creature emerges from the surface directly behind him. Aang turns around, suddenly alarmed by the sight. Aang's face held nothing but fright and terror.
"Whaaaahh!" He screamed, the dorsal fin of the creature swerving off to the side as Aang uses airbending to run across the surface of the lake at lightning speed. Aang heavily panting, while fleeing the scene, his feet treading water, the creature following him in hot pursuit.
Cut to an overhead view, Aang being a mere speck in the water, a trail of white foam behind him, the creature gaining on him. Sokka and Katara standing on the shore.
Sokka suddenly grows alarmed as Aang collides straight into him, having reached the shore safely. They turn back to the lake and shore as the dorsal fin of the creature disappears beneath the surface. Katara runs to where her brother and Aang have come to a halt.
Sokka leaning against a tree trunk, a trail marking where his body slid across the ground. Aang is seen dressing himself as Katara and Momo approach the two.
"What was that?" Katara asked, alarmed by the sudden appearance of a monstrous creature. Placing pants on, Aang shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know. But wasn't it fun?" He asked excitedly, Katara and Sokka fell on the ground.
"Well, let's not stick around to find out. You rode and killed some fish, so let's go." Sokka said.
Several female warriors clad in green kimonos suddenly descended from the treetops ambushing the trio. The women quickly encircle the group and take them out. Sokka who is being pulled back and knocked over. Katara is pulled by her arm.
As she leans in to maintain her balance, someone pulls her parka over her head and pulls her down. Aang is distracted by Katara's struggles, giving the opportunity to another female warrior to grab him by his collar.
Momo flies up screeching from his shoulder, only to be quickly caught in a bag, his head still protruding. A bound and blindfolded Momo, Aang, Katara, and Sokka are thrown on the ground in a line, each grunting when they hit the ground. They are surrounded by the female warriors.
"Or we could stay a while." Sokka said sheepishly and nervously.
"You four have some explaining to do." Oyagi said to the three tied up.
"Umm, there's three of us?" Sokka stated, maybe the old guy wasn't good with maths, Sokka thought, he would've said it out loud but right now he, Katara and Aang are tied and blindfolded, so no need to insult people who have their lives hanging by a thread.
"I'm also talking to you, Naruto." Oyagi said, Naruto walked out from behind the statue with shrugged shoulders.
"What's up?" Naruto leaned up against the wooden pillar, bonking Aang's bald head. 'Geez, monks do have hard heads. Like a coconut.' Naruto thought before regaining focus on what was important, facing his girlfriend's father.
"You were on look out, why didn't you notify us when these hooligans arrived at our home?" Oyagi asked. Naruto scratched his noggin sheepishly, a bead of sweat dripping down his temple. Oyagi got a little impatient. "Well!"
"Well- I thought that they could watch the shoreline for any enemies, you know. Since they were there." The blonde reasoned, a big smile on his face, Suki and the other Kyoshi-Warriors giggled while the towns people laughed. Oyagi shook his head with a smile.
"You cannot just neglect your duties because some strangers come along." Oyagi said, he got a nod and a snobby face from Naruto.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't get your panties in a twist." Oyagi sighed, typical Naruto. Turning his attention back to the group of bound and blindfolded hostages.
"As for you three."
"Show yourself cowards!" Sokka yelled, irritated by the binding on his eyes. Suki reached out and pulled the fabric that hid the captive's eyes from the world. Once the blindfold was removed Sokka surveyed his surroundings, trying to find a possible way out of his predicament. But he came up empty handed, only seeing several females dressed in warrior attire for women and make-up.
"Who are you, and where are the men who ambushed us?" Sokka asked, Suki grew a tick mark; did this buffoon only think men could ambush him. Suki stepped forward, gesturing heavily with her clenched fist. Indignantly.
"There were no men, we ambushed you!" She said and watched in satisfaction when Sokka's face dropped from anger to sarcasm, but she did not see the sarcasm. "Now tell us, who are you and what are you doing here?" She demanded, Sokka raised an eyebrow with a smirk.
