"It's a revolution!"

A goblin cried. He jumped on top of an unsuspecting fae's shoulders with a loud roar. His grimy fingers held up a makeshift spear, which looked an awful lot like a shovel with a human troll doll tied to the top of it. He raised it higher in the air, waving it around.

The fae ducked down and shrieked, throwing him off of their shoulders. He hit the floor with a loud thud.

"It was... an honor... to serve..." he rasped, then dramatically fell unconscious.

A rallying goblin war cry followed.

Hundreds of them swarmed into the ballroom, parting the shocked nobility as they charged some unseen enemy.

Despite their small, stubby sizes, the goblins made quick work of the ballroom. Overturning tables, swinging on chandeliers, tripping fae, and throwing chairs.

"Yipee!" A goblin soared by Jareth's head.

"Looks at me, I'm Lady Sarah!" Another one, somehow, had gotten hold of a large ballgown - likely through ambiguous means - and was wearing a complimentary pair of heels. He twirled around, swinging a large chair with his arms outstretched. His fingers let go of the chair with a calculated throw, and it flung right into one of the many grand mirrors that decorated the ballroom.

The mirror shattered with a loud crash. The room responded with more terrified shrieks.

A group of chubby goblins sat, crouched on top of a table. They looked practically inflated, their stomach's bulging to a nearly catastrophic size as they took large basins of soup and poured them down their throats. One such goblin was occupied by spoon-feeding the hot liquid to a terrified woman.

"Good… Gooooood. Eaaaaaat." He purred, petting her hair and shoving a silver spoon up to her face. Her eyes widened and she trembled.

Jareth stood before the goblin revolution. His eyes barely holding back the anger that was radiating off of him in waves.

The ballroom was in shambles.

He should have known better. Sarah and ballrooms did not mix well.

Jareth's mind was still trying to piece together what had happened. She'd avoided him ever since calling him a 'friend' and then assaulted his hired painter and set the room in chaos by releasing her fellow Knight and a swarm of goblins on them. And the fae court hated goblins.

Not to mention the political humility. He'd been parading Sarah around all night as if she was some meek human, and she just had to go and pull this stunt, which made the court assume that he did not have her in his control as much as he had pretended to.

He let Sarah run off and did not give chase. The last thing he wanted was to deal with a petulant human.

Instead Jareth stayed behind and scolded his subjects, who were on a rampant riot.

A goblin in a bathing suit was bathing in the punch bowl. It appeared he was using a bouquet of flowers as a loofah. Another was peeking under a woman's dress.

"Bog," Jareth said as he passed by that goblin. It disappeared with a startled 'Meep!'. Another goblin had stolen someone's jacket and was wearing a wig, galloping around the room with an invisible dance partner.

Jareth gave up and just decided to bog the whole lot of them.

"ENOUGH," his commanding voice rang out, loud enough to silence the goblin festivities.

Terrified, unblinking eyes turned to the King of the Goblins. Silence held the air captive. With a snap of gloved fingers, they had disappeared one-by-one, leaving traumatized fae in their wake.

Jareth's eyes slid coolly over the room, surveying the extensive damage. "Well?" He said to the crowd, "Leave."

He shooed them off and they meagerly picked themselves and their belongings up and left.

Jareth sighed. Then he too disappeared to his chambers to have a drink and a nice warm bath. He had acquired these amazing things from the Aboveground that were called 'bath bombs'. To his initial disappointment, they did not explode, but he did find them wonderful for his skin.

He'd let Sarah find her own way home. He felt quite done with her for a while.

Sarah stood before the goblin that had started it all.

The one who had was responsible for reuniting her with the Goblin King, causing a goblin revolt, and quite possibly earning her a permanent spot in an oubliette for all eternity.

Gus trembled. "You cames back for revenge?" His voice squeaked.

She had decided to return to the scene of the crime. Gus was cowering in the same room he had been in when it all went down. A dingy, dim, side room off of the ballroom dais.

He backed up slowly as Sarah towered above him. He put a shaky green arm behind him, and then pulled it out with a magazine that was almost the size of him. The sheer weight of it had him teetering off balance.

Sarah raised an eyebrow as he held it up to her. "I… I heards you like these!" He offered nervously.

The cover read: Ten Ways to Satisfy Your Man: The Goblin Edition.

He sniffled.

Sarah shook her head and laughed.

"While that might come in handy for… uh, some down here, I'll have to respectfully decline," Sarah said.

She knelt down to him. One hand still clutched her high-heels from when she had been running earlier. "No, Gus. I came back to say that I forgive you, and I'm sorry. Do you forgive me for being mad at you earlier?"

Gus gulped and then he suddenly looked like a little kid. Though Sarah knew not to forget what he was capable of. She thought that he was perhaps one of the more intelligent goblins. Well, aside from Wiznic.

He nodded solemnly. "I's forgives you… An - And - And I'm sorry," he sobbed. He broke down into tears. Big, brown - why are they brown? - salty teardrops leaked from his eyes and poured down his cheeks. Sarah hugged him and patted him on the back, trying carefully to not get her dress wet.

"It's okay, Gus. Truce?"

"Truce." He pulled back and sniffed. Gus rubbed his nose roughly with his sleeve and Sarah grimaced.

"How about we celebrate with a gallon of icecream, huh? It's on me. You just gotta take us back Aboveground."

He nodded ecstatically.

Then suddenly they were transporting again, and Sarah felt like she might be sick… There were perks to traveling with Jareth. However, she had a feeling he wouldn't want to see her for a while. The world lurched around her, and she prepared herself for another existential crisis.

And I'm back! I do apologize for leaving everyone on such a long cliffhanger. I had writer's block for like.. a few years, lol. Plus, things just got real busy. But I'm here now and I'm re-dedicating myself to my stories! I'll see you all in the next one! :D
