EPOV
"You know what the actual problem is?" I said, "I think you're under too much pressure. You're trying to please everyone, and believe me, you will never be able to please every single person in this world! You need to choose your own circle, and everyone else should not matter!"
I was really mad at myself right now. Why was I being angry at her?
I knew she was going to freak out, right?
Didn't I know how hard she had been working to prove herself? I didn't think I had any right to be upset at her! I needed to be patient with her!
"You don't need to listen to anybody, understand?" I said as I took her in my arms, "Don't even listen to my mother! If anyone questions you, ask them to come and talk to me. I'm not going to allow anybody to put so much pressure on you!"
"No..." she sighed, "They are doing it for me. They're trying to make sure I don't make any mistakes... They want nothing but the best for me."
"I'm not doubting anyone's intentions," I said, "I'm just saying that this is adding a pressure on you, and we don't want that! So we're going to make sure everyone understands this."
"I don't know..." she said as she dropped her head, "I don't want to do this, but I feel so anxious... I feel like I'm never going to be enough."
"Look at me, baby!" I said, "You're much, much better than what you think of yourself. You need to believe in you, because I do. I really do."
"I don't know..." she said as she rested her head on my chest.
"Can I ask something?" she said after some time.
"Anything," I said.
"This is just a hypothetical question... Would you ever consider giving up the throne for me?" she asked, "Everyone loves Emmett and Rosalie. I think they will be an amazing king and queen. What if you give it up?"
