Refusing to give up, Ichigo found a way to restore the witches to normal by just simply kissing them. He managed to free all five of them from Ruri's spell. With their memories restored, Ichigo can now protect them from whatever Aizen is planning. Of course, Aizen is doing what he can to prevent Ichigo from getting in his way without drawing some form of suspicion.

"Let go!" Ichigo said as he practically jumped out of the nurse's office. "I'm glad to see you too, Rachel, but you need to cool it with the affection! Did you not hear the announcement from earlier?! If people see us, we both could be in trouble! Aizen is aware of what we're doing and is trying to hinder our efforts."

"I know, but I don't care!" Rachel said as she seemed much cheerier compared to how she was before. "Hang on. What's going on?" She said as she noticed all the other witches.

"We'll tell you later." Orihime said.

"Well, we all have our memories back to normal." Ashi said.

"We witches do, but everyone else doesn't have their real memories back." Orihime said. "Ichigo might have been able to restore our memories, but it won't work for everyone else."

"Yeah. That only solves a part of the problem. Aizen is still going to go after you girls, and he's got two of the witches on his side." Ichigo said. "This is all getting out of hand and we need to do something that stops this for good, not to mention restore everyone else's memories."

"Is that so?" Ichigo got spooked by that voice. He turned around and saw Ruri behind him.

"Where'd you come from?!" Ichigo said with all the girls surprised by Ruri's appearance.

"I wasn't aware my power could be broken, but it looks like you found a way. Good to know." Ruri said. "Of course, what's to stop me from doing it again. You really intend to keep opposing me and breaking my spell over and over again."

"If that's what I have to do, I will." Ichigo said as he seemed ready to fight her if he must.

"Honestly, it's pointless, Ichigo." Ruri said as she just turned around and walked away. "You might as well just give up, Ichigo. You're never going to win. Aizen is always going to be one step ahead of you."

"We'll see about that." Ichigo claimed as he wasn't scare of her, Aizen, or anyone. He'll do what he has to.

"Who was that girl?" Ashi questioned.

"Was that Ruri Montoya? The one erased our memories in the first place?" Nel questioned. "Was she implying that she is going to erase our memories again?"

"Yeah, but it won't work for another twenty-four hours." Ichigo said.

"If that's the case, I say we make use of that time." Ashi said. "Ichigo can always just kiss us again to restore our memories."

"That's right. I'm not going to rollover to Aizen's way. I don't care how long it takes to stop him." Ichigo said with full dedication. "Still, I don't know what to do now. Aizen seems to know more about the witch powers than..." It was at that moment that he realized something important. "Wait! There is one person who might be able to help us! He knew about the witch powers himself!"

"Of course! Byakuya Kuchiki!" Orihime said. "Ruri might not know about him! Byakuya's memories might still be in one piece!"

"Kuchiki? You mean Rukia's brother?" Nel questioned.

"That's right. It was thanks to him I found out about Ruri in the first place." Ichigo said. "He knows all about the witch powers himself. That means he might be able to help us. We just need to get to him." He claimed as he knew it wasn't going to be easy to get into Byakuya's house if Rukia doesn't know him.

Rukia's House

"Come on, Rukia! You need to let me talk to your brother!" Ichigo said. Once school ended, Ichigo went straight to Rukia's house and insisted on seeing Byakuya. The problem is that Rukia doesn't remember anything and Ichigo can't break the spell over her, so she's not letting him in.

"No way. My brother doesn't like to be bothered." Rukia said as she wasn't planning on moving out of the way. "Besides, how do you know my brother?"

"It's hard to explain, but you've got to trust me." Ichigo said. "You can just call Orihime. She'll vouge for me."

"Yeah right." Rukia said. "I heard that you made Orihime cry earlier. Now get lost or I might call the police and charge you with trespassing."

"I don't have time for this!" Ichigo said as he figured he would move by force. He tried to force Rukia out of the way, but Rukia surprised him by giving him a powerful kick to the face and kept him away from the door.

"What are you?! A lunatic?! You're not seeing my brother!" Rukia said as she was persistent in this. Ichigo just can't seem to convince her.

"It's okay, Rukia." That was when they both noticed Byakuya standing there. "Let him in. I wish to speak to him myself." Rukia found that puzzling of her brother, but it worked for Ichigo. Allowing Ichigo to come in his house, the two talked in his office and Ichigo told him everything that has happened recently. "So, you were able to restore the witches' memories to normal, but it won't work on Rukia or others."

"That's right. At least this way I can protect Orihime and the rest of them." Ichigo said. "Since they're the only ones who can have their memories restored, I'm going to need their help."

"And what do you need me for?" Byakuya asked.

"Byakuya, you're the only other person that knows about the witch powers." Ichigo said. "You're the only one who might be able to help me. Even if the girls' memories are erased and I restore them, you don't go to Karakura High anymore. You might be able to help me. You know the witch powers better than I do, and you might be able to figure out what Aizen is after and how we can stop him."

"You do have a point there." Byakuya said.

"I don't need an immediate answer, but I can't wait too long here." Ichigo said. "Ruri could erase their memories again. They could be gone any moment now, so I need the girls to help as much as they can before it's too late."

"You don't have to worry about. He wouldn't try anything pointless." Byakuya claimed. "I doubt that Aizen is the type that would use the same trick twice."

...

Aizen's Office

"What do you mean you can't erase their memories. Didn't you tell Kurosaki that you would?" Kyoka questioned.

"I was bluffing to scare him into giving up." Ruri said. "I already tried and nothing worked. It's not because I can't use my powers on the same person again, I've done it before. I don't know if it's because of Ichigo or if it's because I can't erase the same memories. This is the first time something like this has happened."

"That means we can't manipulate the other witches so easily with their memories still in tact." Aizen said.

"What do we do now?" Kyoka questioned. "Ichigo Kurosaki is going to ruin everything, not to mention that he could disrupt the school itself."

"We'll see about that." Aizen said as he wasn't giving up so easily either.

Ichigo

"Thanks, Byakuya! Later!" Ichigo said as he was on his way out.

"Wait, Ichigo!" Rukia called and got his attention. "My brother never would have let someone in like that. What's going on? How do you know my brother?" Rukia didn't understand anything, but Ichigo knew he shouldnt' say much because she doesn't. It's not like she would actually believe him.

"Don't worry too much about it." Ichigo said. "Hopefully, everything will be fine and go back to how they should be." Rukia didn't exactly get it, but that was all Ichigo would say. That's what Ichigo was fighting for. "They have to. Aizen isn't getting his way so easily." Ichigo needs to try and fix everything and he's going to need the witches to do that.

Ichigo's House

Ichigo returned home, but he didn't come home alone. Isshin and Yuzu couldn't believe it. Ichigo brought over five attractive girls over to his place.

"Don't mind them. They're here because they're helping me out with a project I'm working on." Ichigo said. "I'm sure you remember Orihime."

"Hi." Orihime greeted.

"Nice place, Ichigo." Rachel said as she grabbed a hold of his arm. "I'm so glad you're finally introducing me to your family!" She said as she acted so lovey-dovey with him, but that was giving Ichigo and his family the wrong idea. Out of nowhere, Isshin ended up kicking Ichigo right in the face with the girls surprised he would do that.

"What the hell was that for?!" Ichigo said.

"So, you think you're a real man now and starting your own harem. You don't look like a man to me if you couldn't stop that." Isshin said.

"Start my own what?!" Ichigo said as he couldn't believe his own father would actually say something like that to him.

"My dear Misaki, this is more dreadful than we thought!" Isshin said as he flailed around on the floor. "Ichigo got a taste of manhood and now he's become addicted to it!"

"No. I can't believe Ichigo is becoming that kind of man." Yuzu said as she looked like she was about to cry over loosing her innocent brother.

"Wow, Ichigo. I knew you were growing up, but I didn't think you would grow this fast." Karin said with Ichigo getting irritated with each one of them, looking like he's going to blow his top off.

"What the hell are you all even talking about?!" Ichigo shouted in frustration with the girls not sure what to think. "We'll be up in my room...not doing anything inappropriate!" He assured as they all went up to his room. Once they all got up to his room, they all tried to settle in it. "Well, make yourselves comfortable." He said as they all had a seat around. "Sorry about my family. Once more to you, Orihime. You already went through that."

"It's okay. It just seems like to me they all care about you." Orihime said. "In fact, I think your family is funny and a lot of fun."

"Your father is certainly an interesting character." Rachel said with her getting all flushed. "I'll have to remember that when he becomes my father-in-law."

"What?! You're getting way too ahead of yourself!" Ichigo shouted. "You're going to give my family the wrong idea. We need to talk about how we're going to..." He stopped himself as he realized another small problem.

"What's wrong?" Nel asked.

"Keep talking." Ichigo whispered as he quietly moved against the wall. None of the girls quite understood what he was doing until Orihime remembered something that happened the last time she was here.

"You know, I think it could actually work, Ichigo." Orihime said. "With five of us here, I'm sure whatever it is you're thinking will work. I just think you're room is a little small for this." Ichigo liked where Orihime was going with this while the other witches just sat there confused. "Not to mention there's your family. I don't mean to be rude, but don't you think it be better if we had some more privacy?" Ichigo took a deep breath as he was about to open his door.

"It sure would!" Ichigo shouted as loud as he could once he opened the door and screamed right into the ears of his father and Yuzu as they were trying to listen again. "What the hell is wrong with the two of you?! I told you that nothing of what you're thinking is going on up here! Does privacy mean anything around here?!"

"I told you he would hate that! Not cool!" Karin called from downstairs.

"We're sorry, Ichigo." Yuzu said as she felt so bad.

"As am I, but I have a responsibility as your father to guide you through this sort of thing." Isshin said. "Now, I love and respect your mother too much to get directly involve, but I can still provide guidance."

"Get out of here, you dirty old man!" Ichigo shouted as he practically kicked his own father down the stairs. Once they were out of the way, Ichigo slammed his door shut and took deep breaths. "I'm going to go crazy before I'm even twenty."

"Ichigo, you've got an eccentric father." Ashi said with a nervous smile.

"Borderline crazy is what I call it." Kori said.

"Again, I'm sorry. I don't know what my old man is thinking half of the time." Ichigo said as he sat over at his desk. "Anyway, can we focus? We've got to figure out how we're going to stop Aizen."

"If it's us witches he's after, wouldn't it make sense to lay low somewhere?" Kori said. "It's obvious that whatever he needs us for, he needs all seven witches. If just one of us hides away, he won't be able to have all seven."

"Not a chance." Nel said. "He can just call the police or our parents as a concerned principal."

"We've also got to figure out what we're going to do about Ruri and Kyoka since they're on his side." Ichigo said.

"Kyoka I understand since it is her father. She might not be able to say no to him, but what about this Ruri?" Kori questioned. "Why is she helping him? What's in it for her?"

"Does anyone even know anything about her?" Rachel questioned. "I've never even heard of her until today."

"I actually did try doing a little research on her." Nel said. "I tried going through the student records, but I found nothing on her. I asked a bunch of people about her, but everyone barley knows anything about her. It's as if this girl never existed before."

"How can that be?" Ichigo questioned. "She's a third-year student. How can anyone know little to nothing about her?"

"Ichigo, you believe that each of us have our powers because of a problem or wish each of us have." Ashi said. "Do you think it's possible that Aizen knows what they are and is using that against them."

"Probably." Ichigo said as he tried to think things over. "It would help if we knew why he was doing all of this in the first place. What's the endgame?" None of them could figure this out, but that's why they went for help to someone who was the first to hunt witches.

"Ichigo! Someone else is here to see you! He's coming up!" Karin called. All of them heard footsteps of someone coming up.

"I'm coming in." The door opened up and they all saw it was Byakuya.

"Byakuya! What are you doing here?" Ichigo said.

"I thought about our little conversation, so I decided to do a little research of my own." Byakuya said. "I took some of what I had from the time I attended your school and learned a few things."

"Who is this guy again?" Rachel asked.

"Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia's older brother." Orihime claimed. "He attened Karakura High like we did, and he knows about the witch powers. He was the one who wrote the notebook in the first place." The girls thought that this was great that someone who has experience with the witch powers is helping them.

"Byakuya, did you find something?" Ichigo questioned.

"Yes. I believe I now know what Aizen wants the seven witches for." Byakuya said. At long last they might get some answers.

"Somewhere within the school is a special room, one I'm sure Aizen knows the location of." Byakuya said. "I learned that when all seven witches are together in this room, they can combine their powers for a ceremony or a ritual."

"A ceremony or a ritual?" Kori said as that sounded eerie to them.

"For what?" Ashi questioned.

"When all seven witches are together, they're combined powers make it possible for a person to have any wish granted." Byakuya said with all of them stunned that a power like that actually exists.

"Any wish a person has can be granted...?" Ichigo said as he couldn't believe it. At last they finally understand what Aizen is trying to do. Given what kind of man he's proven to be, this could end up being something dangerous. If Aizen gets his hands on all seven witches, any wish he desires will be his.
