Hi everyone!
It has been the longest time since I have updated and I bet most have given up on this story. To those that never did, THANK YOU! To those that are new to this story - welcome!
I am beyond sorry for the long delay in this. I myself hate waiting for new chapters (also new tv show seasons, books in a series, etc) and get frustrated when things just stop. Unfortunately, a lot of things happened in life and, in addition to new responsibilities, I lost some of my creative spark and also my beta reader. So I just put this off. I didn't want to just do some crappy updates.
I originally had the next several chapters ready to go and just needed proofreading when everything changed. And over the last few years, I lost my backup drive somewhere. So I have been battling myself about whether I wish to continue or just let it go to an unfinished grave. But I just can't do it. I was so excited to write this and I still love my idea of how to play a lot of this out.
Now that I am getting back into fanfiction more and have some free time I am getting back to this! I am re-reading the books right now to make sure I get the characterization right and to be true as possible to the first 5 books as we know them.
But I have started in the next couple of chapters once again and hope to share them very soon.
Also, having no beta reader I will likely be looking for someone to help a bit. If you are good with grammar, creative word use and advice and can help make sure I don't have plotholes or story errors, send me a message!
Meanwhile, please re-read the old chapters as I did edit them and made minor alterations. Nothing to change the story just clarifying edits, grammar, etc. Human Mistakes Part 2 has the most changes as I actually added several new paragraphs. I am hoping to do roughly 1 new chapter a month for now so I can hopefully not fall into a long patch of nothing again. However, once I have several chapters fully written maybe I will ramp up that timeline but no promises.
