Look, I know this chapter is so short, I just felt that the flow of it fit better with this. Also, Zina's rather unique powers are going to be on display, yes! Also, I beg you for reviews, I still don't think any of my stories have them.

Soon after, as in a few days after that first Potions lesson, Zina saw the flying schedule. Who would she be going with? Would she go with her brother, or the Puffs? The Ravenclaws, or snotty Mr. Sour Donut. In the company of the Huffle-claws, or with Asher?

The letter she got in the morning stated she would be with the Slyther-Doors. She then headed out for breakfast.

"It's a Remembrall!" Neville said from across the way. Draco was a few paces away... He snatched it out of Neville's hand. And thus summoned Professor McGonagall.

"What's going on?" -McGonagall

"Malfoy's got my Remembrall, Professor." -Neville

"Just looking..." -Draco

The bright light of the afternoon sun assaulted the young witch's eyes, the breeze keeping the other solar attacks at bay. Soon the class had started, and the entire class was a chorus of "Up!" As they summoned their brooms to their hands. Zina squinted as Madam Hooch showed them how to grip their broomsticks. Then came hands on learning problems...

"Broken wrist," Madam Hooch muttered, Neville on the ground before her. "None of you move while I take this boy to the hospital wing! Leave those brooms where they are or you'll be out of Hogwarts before you can say 'Quidditch'."

Then Draco took to the air with Neville's Remembrall... What ensued had Zina and Asher cringing at their siblings, all the while hoping that he wouldn't get expelled.

After Madam Hooch returned, class continued and the topic of where Harry was, well, that was avoided. Zina didn't see him around 'til dinnertime, when she had chosen to sit with the Ravenclaws. Looks like Harry wasn't being expelled.

Later that night, Zina decided to try her weird dream-hopping thing again. It could serve to check on her brother and see what had happened (hopefully, dreams can be very weird and off topic), plus it seemed like avoiding it would not be an option soon. She couldn't find him that night.

The next morning, Harry got a package... And Zina realized she might have an eyesight problem.

Weeks passed and Zina still hadn't gotten her eyesight checked. What had happened was the great Ravenclaw burnout... And Zina figured out Harry was on the Quidditch team.

After Charms on Halloween (she had that class with the Griffendoors), Prof. Flitwick asked her to stay after class.

"Miss Potter, I've noticed you keep squinting, even in the front of the room." -Flitwick

"I know, professor. I just—don't know what to do about it." -Zina

"Go to Madam Pomfrey, she knows how to do eyesight exam spells." -Flitwick

"But..." -Zina

"But what?" -Flitwick

"Can she do anything about it?" -Zina

"Just go get your eyes checked." -Flitwick

The hospital wing actually wasn't as scary as Zina thought it would be. Madam Pomfrey was very nice and performed an eye exam that felt more comfortable than Harry had described his to be. But...

"Excuse me, Madam, Pomfrey, but is there anything I can do about my eyesight?

"Yes." Madam Pomfrey then proceeded to explain the hassle of eye-drop potions. "Most still don't choose that because it's a hassle to brew, and you need different drops for each eye, but it still is better than the muggle contacts of today."

"Is there... another option:" Zina asked, fiddling with her bracelet.

"I can order you some glasses by owl, but it will take a while," the talented school healer explained.

"I'd like that. Thank you, Madam Pomfrey," Zina replied. She was then rushed over to a large catalogue to sort through what type of glasses she'd like.

Zina chose to sit next to her brother as part of her celebration. All sorts of goodies sat there, waiting for the crowd of children to devour them. If they weren't staring at the decorations.

Then-

"Troll! -In the dungeons!-thought you ought to know..."

Then pandemonium.

"Oh my goodness, what?!"

"AAAAAHHHHH!"

"That's my cracker, don't eat that!"

-CRACK

"I need to eat as much chocolate as I can before I die!"

"AAAAAEEEAAAAHH"

"What are we going to do, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DOOO!"

-CRACK

"WHAT are YOU going to DO?! MY COMMON ROOM is DOWN THERE!"

"AAAAAAAAAH!"

CRACK–crack CRACK

… … …

.

"Prefects, lead your Houses back to the dormitories immediately!"

"But Slytherin commons are down there" Zina muttered, electing to go with the Griffendoors. Percy's voice stuck out the most and she was sitting with them. But... maybe she should have stuck with the Ravenclaws. Her robes were leaning into a colder color scheme, so they matched with the blue-and-silver clad students best.

Harry and Ron were hurrying along ahead of her, when Harry grabbed Ron.

"Hermione!" Harry said. "She doesn't know about the troll."

"Percy better not see us," Ron replied.

Zina broke from the Lions and headed toward her own dormitory. She'd be able to scout out the castle better that way.

As soon as she closed the door, though, she collapsed, losing consciousness.

And began to further her dream-power.

What am I seeing? Zina asked herself. She had just fainted, after all. But sight wasn't the only sense baffling her. Aside from her actually quite quickly clearing vision, the air felt simultaneously heavier and lighter than normal. And was she... floating?

"YES!" Zina heard a shout, just as her sight cleared enough for her to identify where she was. And more. Was this how clearly most people saw? Those thoughts were thrown away as footsteps crashed through the hall. Just as she saw a touch of ginger hair, a scream tore through the air.

And her mind was cut with fleeting images of terror.

~A locked door, messy hair on a pile of gory flesh~

~Two boys being knocked out just as a teacher arrived~

~A troll falling on three familiar first year students

~Those first years in the hospital, the raven waking to find his friends barely dead~

~Defeating the Troll, only for a comrade to slip and crack his head open~

~Herself, dressed in deep black, crying and desperately holding on to Harry as two caskets lower into the ground~

Can't let that happen, can't let that happen, can't-let-that-happen, can'tletthathappen, can'tletthathappeneveratallnevercan'tletthemdienowHarryneedsthemIcarefor-

Zina clipped through a wall. That would get her there faster... She willed herself in that direction. (It may have worked a little too well. She almost flew out the other side of the room.)

The troll was somewhat chaotic. When she warned someone to move, it (the troll) would get distracted and change what it was doing. That's also how she found no one could see or hear her.

There has to be something I can do, Zina thought as she pulled out her wand. Suddenly, a spell entered her mind, looking like a spell-map on one of her walls.

The Knowledge Charm:

Modifided for recollection

Memento Scientia

~Latin translation: Remember Knowledge~

*complicated wand movement*

Difficulty:? Inventor:?

She was confident she could replicate it, the complex spell easily performed by her inexperienced hand. A beam of barely visible blue light hurtled towards Ron, and he cast his own spell.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" he shouted, reminded by an outside force to keep focused.

Just then, the teachers ran into the room. Prof. McGonagall walked to the front, exclaiming questions as to why her students were so reckless.

This time around, they told the truth, that they knew of the matter. 5 points were taken from Ron Weasley for his inconsiderate words, and 5 points each were given to the three of them for the defeat of the troll.

Meanwhile, Zina started to feel a pull, and the halls started to stretch, her vision fog. She closed her eyes tightly… and woke up.

As I said up at the top, this chapter is very short because I couldn't figure out how to transition from one thing to another very smoothly.
