So yeah, on last chapter we saw how much of a prick Jet was, and that I added a little upgrade to his weapons; they held poison in the hilts.
If you need a refresher on last chapter, go check it out would ya.
Avatar: Chapter 6 - Departures And Training
"Uhh… Naruto, who're the kids?" Aang asked. Katara was playing with the kids, she tied up Sun's long hair.
"That little girl is Daiyu, the taller boy is Kai, and the other kid is Sun." Naruto informed the team as they flew overseas. Daiyu raised her hand. "Yes, Daiyu?"
"What's your name?" She asked childishly. Naruto had the decency to scratch his head.
"Oh, I forgot. I haven't told you my name." Naruto sheepishly said. Katara stared at him.
"You met these little kids and they don't even know your name?" Katara sarcastically asked. He shrugged.
"Anyways, my name is Naruto Kyō. I am an earthbender but I have a secondary element. I don't know how or why, but I do." Naruto introduced himself to the younger people. Naruto got a glimpse of his animal companion.
"Sokka, bring us down! I see Dakota." Naruto excitedly said. Sokka nodded and flew Appa down to a speck in the ocean. He flew to a small island, and Naruto slid down Appa's tail.
He whistled with both hands to his mouth.
Dakota's ears perked up, swishing her head from left-to-right, she saw her father on an island. She let her childish side take over as she swam towards him. Naruto held his arms open, Dakota jumped, and knocked Naruto over, she pinned him before licking him, and giving him nose rubs.
"Hey girl. How's Ty-Lee?" Naruto asked as he rubbed his head against hers. Team Avatar and the trio of kids slid down Appa's tail to greet the animal.
"Hey Dakota!" Sokka greeted, she licked his face; covering him in saliva. "Yup. I missed you too." Sokka grumbled, pushing the giant tongue away.
"Woah…" Daiyu and Kai said at once. Naruto ushered them forward, they came forth nervously.
"So it's a giant mutt?" Sun stated, not sounding impressed. Dakota for her part, growled and barked at the small human.
"I wouldn't call her that. She's really sensitive to that word." Naruto said. He turned back to Team Avatar.
"Why are you looking at us like you're leaving?" Sokka asked. Naruto smiled.
"It's because I am. I promised to look after these kids, and I can't do that if I'm putting them in danger while traveling with you." Naruto said. Aang, Katara and Sokka's eyes shot open in shot.
"WHAT?!" They screamed in unison, Naruto and the kids covered their ears. Katara, Sokka and Aang began shaking him by the collar of his cloak.
"Why? You only started teaching me earthbending a few days ago!" Aang whined. Naruto grunted.
"It's gonna be soooo boring without you!" Sokka whined. Naruto growled, his neck hurt.
"I don't want to babysit two boys!" Katara cried out. Naruto released steam from his nose, and pushed them all off.
"Get off!" He straightened up. "Look, I understand that you don't want me to go! But I promised these kids! And I don't go back on my promises." He finished. First he turned to Aang.
"Listen, I was never destined to be your earthbending teacher. Only your tour-guide, your earthbending teacher is someone else. Ask Grampa-Bumi for guidance, he'll give it to you." Naruto guaranteed. Aang nodded while lowering his head.
Facing Sokka. "I know. It'll suck without me, huh?" Naruto laughed. Sokka and Aang's face faulted while Katara giggled. "You're the mom of the group." Naruto said, Katara blushed. He continued. "Mother knows best." He smiled, ruffling her head.
"I'm gonna miss you guys. My time spent with you were some of the best times I've ever had. And there will be more in the future." Naruto said, the group came in to hug him; the blonde felt uneasy, still not familiar with physical touch other than his girlfriends. But he relaxed, embracing the group.
"Ok, that's enough!" He said abruptly; seeing as they were getting too comfortable for his liking. Just because he had a warm body doesn't mean they can glomp him!
After getting his stuff from Appa's saddle, he patted the furry monster. "So long, you big ugly best. I'll miss you." He said, rubbing behind his ears. He patted Momo, he left; not before giving Momo a chocolate bar.
He placed each of the kids on the big saddle on Dakota's back that was connected to the main seat on her neck. He boarded the wolf-fish, giving the rest a nod.
"See you at Omashu in a few weeks." Naruto said. He cracked the reins and Dakota took off into the ocean.
Timeskip
After his departure from Team Avatar, Naruto, Dakota, Daiyu, Kai and Sun all embarked on a long journey.
As they asked questions, Naruto ordered them to refer to him as Sensei. They begrudgingly complied as he was a stranger that offered to take care of them. As they got to know one another, the trio of kids all huddled together on Dakota's saddle before falling asleep.
Naruto had enjoyed his time spent talking with the little buggers, and when they shook due to the cold weather he stripped his cloak before draping it over the trio of kids who almost immediately snuggled into the cloak, the soft interior soothing their cold bodies and instantly warming their small bodies.
Naruto decided that they needed to find a good terrain for earthbending, such as a desert or a wasteland. The less damage they could cause to human civilization the better their chances were of not finding problems with people.
Dakota swam far and wide before stopping on land. She was on her last legs, it had nearly taken her all her energy to swim fast and steadily; so she hadn't woken up the kids.
The blonde decided to let her rest for a while; he had used earthbending to lift them further to the deserted town in Si Wong desert. While it was struggle to levitate all five of them, he managed to do so.
The next day was an… interesting moment. The kids had been woken up from their blissful sleep from the smell of a delicious smelling stew. As if lightning had jolted through their veins, they bolted to the cauldron of stew, eating bowl after bowl of the delicious breakfast.
Naruto chuckled to himself at this.
After breakfast he had instructed them to go outside. He had drilled the importance of teamwork and relying on your friends to win battles were more important than doing the task alone. When they didn't understand he sighed.
Flashback - Start Of Training
They all stood outside. Naruto stood sternly in front of them.
"So… what will we be learning today, Sensei?" Kai asked, Naruto simply pulled out two bells from his pocket; holding them in front of the trio for them to paint a clear picture of the objects. He then strapped them to his belt.
"You have to steal these bells from me, and whoever doesn't get a bell, doesn't get dinner." He smirked when he saw the faces of his students fall.
The trio of young earthbenders enjoyed their breakfast and wouldn't skip dinner for anything.
"Yes Sensei!" They all screamed.
'This should be interesting.' Naruto inwardly said, not expecting much from the three.
"Let's make this even more fun as well." Naruto smirked before stomping his feet in the ground several times. He raised earth from the ground, but this was nothing to scoff at. He pulled literal pillars, cliffs, platforms, arenas, anything you could think of when it came to fighting with earthbending.
Naruto stood at the top of the highest platform. "Ok… begin!"
They all propelled themselves to their Sensei, intent on grabbing those bells. To which he charged them, held his arms out, before bulldozing through all three of them. Landing on a flat surface of a cliff he made, he entered a ready position; the bells resting on his rear side. Landing in front of Naruto, the trio of benders growled.
Wanting to use a conjoined attack, they all rushed him; Daiyu was in lead with Kai and Sun flanking her. She went to grab the bells when Naruto pulled his arm back, letting the girl seamlessly pass him. Kai tried falling from the top of Naruto, but the blonde was smarter. He grabbed Kai from mid air before tossing him into an incoming Sun.
The blonde bender blocked a small boulder before throwing it back at Daiyu, who evaded the strike.
They all cornered him, one of them on each side of the clearing.
"Give up Sensei, we've got you cornered." Sun smirked, Naruto grinned at this statement.
"No, you've just made this easier." He laughed. This irritated the kids who in turn screamed before running towards him, intending to strike him down. Aiming for his legs.
Naruto waited for them to come close before jumping up in the air, he madly spun throughout the air; to gain momentum for another strike. He then stopped and stomped onto the three's back, breaking the cliff's surface, resulting in a mini landslide.
"Oh, you guys are going to have to be a little more smarter than that!" Naruto taunted. They growled after climbing out of the rubble.
They cornered him again, this time thinking smarter. Sun was the first to engage the blonde, Naruto however effortlessly kicked the boy away, he jumped over a kick from before; courtesy of Kai. He punched the boy away and quickly retaliated to a strike from Daiyu.
This went on for a while, Naruto just knocking one of them away while another would try and strike him down.
When they started using long-range attacks in conjunction with short-range attacks, he started getting a bit pumped.
He somehow cornered them, standing in front of them with the same condescending smirk.
"Nowhere to run." Naruto went to punch them, but Sun quickly raised a wall of earth. The blonde simply punched through the earth, but didn't have time to block a boulder that was thrown by the three, he quickly kicked the boulder away, but that gave them enough time to come up with a good plan.
Sun rushed Naruto, he then jumped into a missile-like position and fired towards the blonde. Naruto leaned back, letting him pass him. But the blonde's eyes widened when he saw Kai's slowly approaching body coming from the sky.
"WHATS UP?!" Kai screamed as he kicked Naruto, who blocked him, he then felt vibrations coming from below him, a hole opened up underneath him, and he faintly heard the noise of the bells chiming.
He then backflipped from his bridge position, kicking Kai's body, sending him soaring away. He checked his waist, seeing the bells were still on his waist.
Hearing clicking he turned around, seeing a bruised Daiyu holding the two rocks that was held by two strings with a triumphant grin.
"Jingle, jingle, Sensei." She trailed, giving him a cocky smirk. It was Naruto's time to smirk.
"Those are rocks, I said bells…" Naruto snickered. He had to admit, it was a great plan. 'I knew those rocks would come in handy.' Naruto thought.
Flashback end
After that, Naruto and the kids continued their "fight", they were on the losing side but kept striving to take those bells.
He then declared that task incomplete, as it was midnight. He dragged the tree away to the house and whipped up some food.
Flashback - Dinner Time
Naruto was in front of a pot with a giant crab in a pot, roasting. The three kids were surrounding a table.
"Sensei, why did you leave the Fire Nation?" Sun asked: He had left the Fire Nation due to low income, which resulted in him stealing and thrown out of his city.
Naruto stopped cooking. "Why would you want to know that?" Naruto asked, resuming his methods in cooking.
"It's just that you never really talked about your time in the Fire Nation on the ride here. I was just curious." Sun said, lowering his head.
Naruto didn't answer or talk to them for a couple minutes, he then came over with a plate with the roasted crab, greens and cups of water.
"You want to know my story of why I left the Fire Nation?" Naruto asked seriously. The kids excitedly nodded their heads, eagerly waiting to hear it. "Well too bad. It's not my place to tell you, that right belongs to my brother." Naruto said, whispering a silent prayer before digging into the food.
They stayed quiet for the majority of dinner, contemplating if the story was that bad.
Flashback end
A few weeks had passed from the moment in time, Naruto could be seen standing in front of the trio of kids he nicknamed, "Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest", they did not take kindly to the name.
He had trained the group in earthbending.
Daiyu was the leader of her group, so she had to become stronger and more decisive with her decisions that put the team at risk. So Naruto had taught her defensive techniques, now she could create mini earthquakes, she could shrink and enlarge earth.
Kai was a sky earthbender, he was the one they'd use as a sneak-attack. He was insistent on learn what Daiyu learnt but Naruto replied with,
"No, the skills I'm teaching you guys will compliment each other."
Was Naruto reply. He taught Kai how to soften and harden earth, easily turning sand into earth and earth into sand. Kai could now easily convert earth into sand as a way to lessen the damage.
Sun was Naruto's hardest student yet. He gave Sun the waterbending scroll that he had stolen from Team Avatar. When Sun asked why Naruto replied with,
"In order for you to learn to control lava, your movements have to be swift, fluid effortlessly. It's because lava is so light and very liquid-y?" Naruto said, Sun took this like a grain of salt and got to work to strengthen his ability to wield sand. Sun now had a good understanding of sand and how to wield it, he was a tad bit over confident at one point, thinking he could use lava now, he accidentally burned Daiyu.
Flashback
There was a huge thunderstorm that was current, Naruto and Kai went to find dinner with Dakota.
Sun was swirling lava in his hand, it did take some time to get used to, but with practice makes progress.
Daiyu was sitting in their hut. Naruto had put her in charge of the house they were staying in. She pulled her hand away as a bit of lava came near her hand.
"Hey! Watch it, Sun! You could've burned me!" Daiyu chastised the lava-bender who smirked cockily.
"Well I didn't, so it's all good. Don't get your panties in a twist." Sun said, he did a couple over the head flares to show off his new skills.
"Oi, don't play with that, it's not a toy!" Daiyu snapped, seeing as some of the fallen molten accidentally fell on her skirt.
"Don't worry, I've got it covered!" Sun replied. He then performed a mid-air slam, smashing the molten lava in a circular wave. The wave continued its way to Daiyu, she went to shield herself with her arms but still got burned.
Her scream could shatter glass if there were any present. She frantically waved her arms around, eagerly trying to cool her arms down.
"Daiyu! I'm so sorry!" Sun exclaimed, Sun tried helping her but she slapped his hands away.
"Don't touch me!" She turned away from him, furiously trying to cool down her burns. Seconds later Naruto and Kai came in the doors, they were holding crates of meat, fruit and veggies. Dakota quickly curled up into a ball and fell asleep in the corner.
"What happened?" The blonde teacher asked, seeing one of his students clutching her arms, tears streaming down her face and dried lava on the ground.
Sun stuttered as he couldn't believe what he had done. His best friend was burned because of his cocky behavior. Naruto surveyed the room, seeing obvious remnants of magma. Kai noticed this also and cried in fury, tackling Sun to the ground.
"You fool! Lava isn't a toy!" Kai yelled at the top of his lungs. Naruto quickly intervened, grabbing Kai by the collar and tossing to the wall; stopping his efforts with a finger.
"Kai calm down!" Naruto ordered, he helped Sun up and motioned him to sit up against the wall. Looking softly at the whimpering mess that was his student, he grabbed her shoulders.
"Daiyu, let me see." He said kindly, Daiyu didn't immediately open up, but she did nonetheless. He closed his eyes, and concentrated on his secondary element. Naruto used his firebending to read Daiyu's injuries. He creates fire from his palms and waves his hands around Daiyu's arms. Sighing heavily at what he discovered.
"You have multiple tiny earth fractures in your forearms. This is a very hard thing to tell, since you were so close to completing your training." Naruto said, he looked into Daiyu's eyes. "If you don't get them removed… there is a chance that you'll never be able to bend with these arms, ever again." Naruto said, shattering the poor girl's heart. They heard running footsteps and looked upon the retreating back of Sun.
"Kai, stay here with Daiyu." Naruto said in a commanding tone and sped after Sun.
Sun
Sun was running, tears falling down his face while it rained. The water that cascaded down his face gave a sad look to any that saw it.
Due to Naruto who had created mountains from the earth for more vigorous training, he had lots of places to flee to.
Out of nowhere Naruto flashed in front of him, spooking him and making Sun fall on his back. He furiously wiped his eyes from the tears.
"What do you want?!" Sun screamed. Naruto stood impassively, Sun tried walking past him back, but Naruto pushed him back to the ground. "Leave me alone!" Sun screamed again, punching Naruto in the stomach, then followed up with an uppercut to his chin and finished the attack with a double leg thrust.
The blonde master stumbled back. "Is that all you got?" He asked, and thunder struck behind him. Letting out an earth shattering cry, Sun rushed him, throwing blow after blow, but missed each time. Naruto punched him, knocking him down. Sun stood back up, willing to keep fighting.
"Look, I know what you're doing! But this ain't how we're doing this, I've tried and failed. The best you can do is run from the problem, but guilt was even faster than me." Naruto said. Sun sniffled before his tears renewed, he sank to his knees and cried his problems away.
The blonde teen pulled the little kid into a hug, Sun clutched the blondes shirt, crying his eyes out.
"Is everything ok over there?" A feminine voice asked, turning around, Naruto and Sun saw a woman with a fabric that covered her head. She had an umbrella.
She was fair skinned and had amber eyes with ashy blonde hair tied into two long pigtails and two bangs that framed her beautiful face. She had a purple diamond tattoo on her forehead. She wore a poncho and a grey sleeveless blouse with a blue obi and blue pants. She had on opened toed, heeled sandals.
Naruto and the woman's eyes widened, suddenly a torrent of memories not of their own flooded their minds. They saw themselves and this stranger standing side-by-side, another memory showing the woman kissing the younger boy on the forehead. The last memory showed a battlefield, them and several others facing off against two pale skinned entities, one with a yellow eye and another with a red third eye. One thing was for sure, they were reincarnations!
Pointing at one another that both screamed.
"GRANNY-TSUNADE!"
"BRAT!"
Was what they both screamed, after this they quickly embraced each other.
"So… our memories are returning, huh?" Naruto asked the woman who nodded gravely.
"It seems so… you know what that means." Tsunade said, Naruto bitterly nodded.
"That means they're coming." He said angrily and venomously.
Unknown to them, but people in other parts of the world were suddenly receiving memories, memories that weren't their own.
There was a clear message in each of the memories.
"We are coming for you!"
Avatar: Chapter 6 - Departures And Training
So yeah, that's what I was going for. Naruto is a reincarnation, he and a few others.
dragonupghost145's story gave me the idea of having reincarnations, in the story, Naruto is a reincarnation and so is Temari; that's all I can remember.
"Naruto of the Pure Energy"
In case you want to read his story, it's real good.
And I have a question for you, who were the people in the vision?
How was the chapter? Leave a review if you can, I enjoy reading them, especially bad ones, ( Please don't just send bad ones ㅜ_ㅜ )
P.S: Dont get too excited, there is a chance I might edit this chapter. Because I kinda rushed it, I just wanted to post a chapter before school.
Have a good day, and hey, remember that question.
Bye-bye!
