"Do you need some help getting up?" Nori pondered.
"No thanks, I'll be fine." Naomi denied as she sat up.
"I think it'd be best if you went ahead and lie down." Nori advised.
Naomi went upstairs and laid down in her bed without another word or so much as a single forethought. While lying down, Naomi noticed Mytyl sent her a text message.
r u ok ? :(
Naomi texted her back:
U might need 2 come check since I don't know.
A moment later, Naomi heard a knock on her door. Knowing it was Mytyl, she got an idea. She began to fake snore as Mytyl opened the door. But as her sister got closer, Naomi began laughing, and Mytyl knew it.
When she was standing directly in front of the bed, Mytyl didn't expect what her sister was going to do next. Naomi rolled over and grabbed Mytyl, trying to pull her on the bed. Deciding to play along, Mytyl flung herself onto the bed. Naomi grabbed her phone and showed a game she frequently played with Zeno to Mytyl.
"It's called Celestial Concord. It's about this revamped version of Princess Kaguya. She's stuck imprisoned on the moon and you have to defeat the evil force keeping her there. You can pick from a range of pre-existing characters with set abilities.
My personal favorite character is Tashine. Sometimes the kunai attacks help, especially when the enemy is around the corner. Each of the six characters has their own unique attack and ability. The team number limit is six and you can only have one of each character on the team.
You can do versus battles in the online arena. I forgot the name if it though. There's names for all of the places on the game. The locations are cute too I know you'll like.
There's also different weapons you can use but they all work as the range of the characters do. So, you can download it on your tablet if you want. I can call Zeno and see if you want us to give you a rundown." Naomi droned.
Mytyl nodded happily. She began to download the game. Naomi then remembered something and began laughing.
"What's so funny?" Mytyl wondered.
'I'm so clueless as to why the key disappeared. But I think my Psychokinesis did it. And I thought I could work as a magician." Naomi giggled.
"You really do need that two week vacation boss." Lola retorted.
"You said earlier while you were laughing because when you tried to run from your problems another one found you." Mytyl reminded.
"Wiat a second, I'd better go ahead and check for that key." Lola supposed as Mytyl opened the door so Lola could go down to the basement.
A few minutes later, Naomi and Mytyl fought a five group team. Over 3 minutes had passed since Lola left to search for the key. The username of their Renshi opponent was purplecat-454. For Bankai it was lifesaber2707, Aralia was angel_wing_5392, Shikuma was geishaimpact8796 and Yakuro was wizardingxgenius1010. Naomi called Odd to confirm her suspicions.
"You and the others don't happen to like a game called Celestial Concord do ya'll?" Naomi supposed.
"Yeah, but this trio's been wiping the floor with us. Their usernames are mytical muse, obsessive otaku and repressed rebel." Odd complained.
Naomi began her quiet maniacal laughter.
'Uh, sis, you good?" Mytyl asked.
"Odd, you do realize who's beatin' ya to a pulp right now huh?" Naomi cackled.
'No, I still can't figure it out." Odd pouted.
"Mytyl, Zeno an I are the ones kickin' your butts!" Naomi laughed maniacally
"You're just eating this up aren't you?" Odd huffed.
"As much as you with meatballs an gravy." Naomi guaranteed.
"Hi Odd!" Mytyl waved.
"How old is she?" Odd questioned.
"Odd, if you're thinkin' what I think you're thinkin', you'll be on your way ta Siberia's circus 'fore ya can say Tashkent." Naomi threatened.
Odd could practically feel the icy stare (from the threat of freezing cold) from Naomi sending chills down his spine, although they wre merely in an audio only call.
Naomi's team won when Lola burst into the room and Naomi's com started going off.
"Well there goes my five minutes a quiet. I'll see ya later," Naomi ranted as she ended the call, turned off her game, grabbed Lola and sat down on her bed with Mytyl. "Now talk. What happened to the key?"
"It's gone, it's definitely gone." Lola informed.
Naomi handed Lola to Mytyl as she reached for her comm.
"We need you to look at the songs for Celestial Concord. We think they're the songs the Sumeragi didn't get to release." Moniqa demanded.
"Why do we need to worry if they don't have Lumen or Joule anymore?" Naomi queried.
"Because those were recorded when they used her as Adept sonar." Moniqa stated.
"Oh, yikes. At least we can destroy the records." Naomi smiled.
"The building we hacked for finding Lumen's location is where you need to go. And be careful, you may come across Nova a little earlier than desired." Moniqa catuioned.
"Yeah, cause the way I wanted was never." Naomi rambled.
"You start the mission at seven because it could take a while." Moniqa added.
Naomi shivered, curled up, hugged her knees, placed her head on them and began to cry.
"I-I'm the one to blame. I wish I could start over. It'd be nice to be able to live a normal life. One where nobody suffered, not because of me, the Suemragi or anyone else." Naomi weeped.
"The Sumeragi's been around since the Heian period. So unless you were around then to stop its creation there's nothing you can do." Moniqa assured.
"T-thanks Moniqa. I'm gonna let you go." Naomi thanked before she took her comm out.
