The older man circled and underlined the name on the paper.
(Brian at some point we need to address the topic you keep avoiding.)
(You're father.) The therapist proclaimed.
(I don't want to talk about that. He isn't why I'm here.) Brian replied.
(If this is going to work. You need to be honest with me.) The older man said.
(Why are you here.?) He questioned.

This last round of treatment. Took alot out of Lucas.
The friend group really stepped up.
For Brooke and especially the kids
Brooke never wanted to be too far away from Lucas.
But Karen. Her girlfriends and the guys insisted she needed to take breaks.
Otherwise she would burn out. She had to make herself a priority as well.

Mentally physically emotionally. Lucas had given all he could during this never process.
If this didn't work. Brooke decided. She wouldn't push him anymore.
He deserved to have peace of mind and rest. The freedom to enjoy life again.
Even if that meant it was the outcome she didn't want and couldn't imagine.
Brooke quickly wiped her eyes and looked up when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
(Can I go see him?) Brian questioned.
Brooke was stunned questions going around in her head.
