I remember Gates said in an interview how she wished they wrote her pregnancy in the show and I thought "I wonder how that would have gone". This takes place during S3-S4 and starts from the episode Allegiance. What if Beverly didn't leave that night? It is very TNG-esque. I wanted to keep it traditional in that manner.

How I think the ending of First Duty should have ended.

Here is my one shot of what happened the morning after Beverly left Picard in Attached. I like to do one shots of missing scenes, so this fits with canon and is my idea of what happened. Hope you enjoy it!

It happens on ST TNG E13xS1, "Datalore". Ensign Julienne and Data's relationship is strained and Lore is out for blood. Data's twin had never thought about anything but doing harm. Will an ingenue Fate throws his way be able to test his limits? Sequel to one-shot Figure8.

After the encounter with Lore and Dr. Soong, Geordi attempts to comfort Data. Data does not require comforting, of course, but he appreciates it in his own way. Post 4.03 ("Brothers").

The USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D encounters a time rift on a routine mission. Investigating the anomaly, a ship emerges from the rift, and everything changes. Suddenly the Enterprise D and Starfleet are living in a new reality where the Federation is at war with the Klingon Empire. The ship is the Enterprise C, the Enterprise-D's predecessor, and a choice needs to be made.

Q wants to repay someone for saving his life but can't do it alone. He recruits Tasha Yar to save a life that is dearer to her than anyone. But is Q telling her the whole story, and will she decide to help the omnipotent being?

Picard is tired after a shift and of course, Q shows up to 'help'. But Picard is left with some confusing emotions and a strange new revelation. But no time for that- the Enterprise is crashing into an uncharted planet, and Picard needs to navigate his crew's stranded state- all while meeting a new alien race and dealing with an obnoxious- charming- and powerless Q.
