"Records of Time Phenomenal Affirmation"
Author's notes: this story is a tribute to the original voice actress for Bayonetta. Reason for this rewrite is being made because I wasn't a big fan of the third game. If I had my way the game's story mode would be like the first two games being able to switch three different characters really liked that. Also I'm going to put more characters in this story because Bayonetta 3 lacked any new characters.
"When I was a kid, my mum used to tell me something. "There are no forks in the path of life. you just walk along, feeling your way through the grass, leaving a faint trail behind. but if you turn around to look, you may get the strange feeling you've walked that path before or the someone was walking along with you, lending you the strength to press on.'" a girl's voice said.
In universes of light, dark, and chaos. Intertwining in untold layers.
The full moon shines brightly in the night sky, fighting can be heard beneath ut. "I'd always believed in the idea of fate, but… What if some other version of me in a distant reality is creating her own destiny?" the girl's voice wondered.
Lights flash and pops of bullets leaving a gun sound out in the night, the city of Manhattan lay in ruins around the two parties fighting. Bayonetta is getting beaten down, slowly, unforgivingly, by the foe opposing her; yet the humorous attitude and witty remarks still remain.
She gets knocked back, her fighting partner following behind, shining as pink and green shooting stars against the navy sky.
"And what if, when all the possibilities were overlaid, the path that stood out the clearest was the right one to follow?" the girl wondered.
The green streak crashes into the already broken statue of liberty, Bayonetta rolling out of the impact on the ground before pushing herself up. She face the shadowy figure that stands behind her. She summoned Gomorrah.
The shadowy figure summoned its own monster and the two begin grappling, leaving Bayonetta to deal with the humanoid figure itself. It hold out its hand and the world around them shifts surrealistically, the floor disappearing and buildings creating shifting kaleidoscope designs in the sky. When Bayonetta gathers her bearings, she rushes the shadow.
"I barely understood what she was saying, but for some reason it really resonated with me. And every time I thought about it, I looked up at the sky and daydreamed. What if somewhere, some version of me was walking along through the grass just like me? Could we be following the same path, forging the same destiny?" the girl asked.
Bayonetta and the figure fight, Gomorrah and the other beast do the same on the opposite side of the same platform. "And even after growing up, I still believed it could be true. I hoped that one day, a version of my mum would appear from some other world to change the course of my destiny, and pull out a strawberry candy just for me, like she always used to. But the visitor from another world that appeared to me… Was a nightmare that had come to crush all hope like blades of grass beneath his heel." the girl said.
The shadow figure holds out his hand once more, a blast of energy rippling across the space, once, twice. Bayonetta activates witch time but the figure suddenly moves as if unaffected by the magic, sending out another blast that makes contact this time, rose petals fly in the air as Bayonetta knocked backwards.
The watch perched on her chest cracks as she makes impact with floating pieces of road, rolling down the platforms.
Just as she's about to fall into the deep blue void below, the figure catches her by the throat and lifts her high in the air, her ribbon falling from her hair. The shadow speaks. "Let's end this now."
Bayonetta hesitates for only a moment, blood dripping down her chin, wincing between words, I'm not done… yet…" she said.
She swings up her arm and fires her gun at the figure, making him drop her, kicking her on the way down. The witch lands hard against the ground and struggles to get back up.
She was unable to hold herself up "What's wrong? Having… Trouble… Running the numbers?" She tries to keep her cocky persona up.
"Don't count me out just yet." She continued to attack but was unable to harm the shadowy figure.
"I'll… be the one who decides…. How this will end." she said.
"Your destiny does not end here." a boy's voice said.
The shadow figure knocked her aside and he attached pieces of rubble to her causing her to let out a scream of pain.
Two people watched the fight a girl tried to help Bayonetta but a soldier stopped her. "You got a job to do soldier." he said.
Bayonetta gives the girl her last bit of power "Viola." Bayonetta said.
She reached her hand out and give Viola some of her powers "Go! Now!" Bayonetta said.
She began to turn into red crystal time stopped. A boy appeared he was wearing a white suit he is light skinned, black hair, and gray eyed. He wore Jeanne's symbol on his left shoulder and had Bayonetta's symbol on his right shoulder. He has golden lines on his outfit. He wore shoes with the Umbran symbol on them.
He floated over to Bayonetta "Shame Cereza Viola suffered so much yet she takes your mantle that's not how it should be." the boy said.
He turned to the shadowy figure "You ruined everything in an attempt to create a pure universe, the Alphaverse. Yet you took everything from everyone now as the Arch Son I shall ensure your plans shall never be finished." the boy said.
The boy used his magic to save B0 Bayonetta's life. He turned her into purple crystal which didn't wipe her out of existence but her soul was saved into the boy's chest. Time resumed but through Viola's view her mother was destroyed.
The soldier fired at the shadowy figure. But the shadowy figure crushed him. "I'll be back for you." Viola said.
She activated the World Bridge and teleported away the shadowy figure knew she be back but soon felt the Arch Son's power.
