Welcome to the first fanfic in my revamped fanfiction series, The Long Series. :)
A lot has happened since the last time I worked on this particular fanfiction series. For one, my spiritual awakening happened. Not only that, but I started channeling Frodo Baggins, the hobbit and Ring-bearer from "The Lord of the Rings", and then I went into a soul merge with him. Yes, I know, but this is what happened. And now, even my writing style feels more like it's combining his writing style with mine.
It's an interesting process: becoming a fictional character, but hey! Life happens.
So, if you notice the writing style being a little different, this is why. I'm still searching for my writing style and what that's like these days. Still adjusting to it though.
So, with that said, I present what was my fanfic, The First World, which has now become, The Dispute in Heaven. Enjoy! :)
Before Time began, there was darkness. The Nothingness found herself in an array of darkness. The Void had not yet been present. The Nothingness knew only one thing: how much more darkness could she achieve on her own?
Was she an entity? All she could remember was the Void not being there before. Here the Nothingness was, surprised she had come to life. She snickered, going about her day… or night? Oh well, she didn't care! Her long wispy hair flowed in the darkness. So, she began to create things only the darkness could see. This was her realm, and she would not dare see anyone take her place!
"It is done. You are created, Nothingness," God Almighty said, surprising the Nothingness.
The Nothingness hadn't recalled God Almighty being there before. But then, the Nothingness hadn't been created yet, until God stretched forth His hands and started creating things out of her darkness! What was the Nothingness to do? She nearly thought about being sucked into the Void, the gaping black hole that appeared before her as a rugged masculine figure with short wispy hair and long lashes. The Void was impressed. He could hardly stand to be without her.
They weren't alone, for the Darkness was created by God, too.
It was a family of Darkness, with the Darkness being the Father figure next to the Nothingness and the Void. They were the Darkness' children, and the Darkness loved them for it. The Darkness showed up as an elderly masculine figure, tall and graceful, but menacing and cruel.
Their home was in the dark, a world where only the Night could be found. The Darkness, the Void, and the Nothingness would grow up in the Night Realm, taking on forms in the dark where only they could see them.
This was where it all began: God Almighty creating a world of night within the folds of the Darkness' lair. And God was happy. This much was clear.
He sighed. His Work was done here. Now He could pay attention to the Day Realm, where all Hope resided.

The Everything was shrouded in the light. The light bathed the Everything in its warmth. The Everything was more than lucky to be here, in this sunny daytime landscape. The Everything could not stand to be alone. He wanted more than anything to have a partner, someone to share his secrets with.
He would not dare see the light without this tremendous partner to guide him along his journey.
But how was he to achieve this?
"Arise, Everything! Be who you are!" God Almighty said, impressing the Everything.
The Everything looked around with joy. Here he was, with fiery red hair, cropped and spiky, while the Infinity came to life, dressed in a glowing yellow gown and draped with flowing silvery-blonde hair and the brightest smile one could ask for. The Light came at last, for she was the mother of the Infinity and the Everything!
They were blessed, the trio of the Light. They walked the Day Realm, glistening with excitement.
And they were happy. For now, at least.

The Nothingness looked on in wonder and excitement. Finally, she had her advantage: to create her darkness. It was the first time she felt whole. She couldn't quite tell what happened next, but she loved herself for it!
A peak of daylight engulfed the other end of the Night Realms. The Nothingness was stunned. It was here that she learned about the Everything from a friendly beaver and his wife, who were passing through.
Mr. Beaver was quite forceful, but he had a good heart. "The Everything is bursting with joy! Daylight is upon us!"
"Ooh! I can't wait!" Mrs. Beaver said, joining her husband.
It was all at once that the Void and the Darkness endured, for they had found their mates! The Nothingness crept along, not stopping until she met the Everything and nearly engulfed him with her shroud of darkness.
"What are you doing?" the Everything stated, confused.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" the Nothingness said, plainly. "The light will soon be mine, and you can go on your merry way!"
The Everything snared the Nothingness in his grasp. He snarled, telling her, "I will chase you, my dear."
The Nothingness quirked, "You'll have to catch me first."
"Hmhmhmhm! I look forward to it," the Everything said, beginning his chase. The Nothingness chased him, too, loving this game.
The Light and Darkness watched from the balcony of the Light's home, for the Darkness was surprised at how friendly the Light was.
"Isn't this wonderful?" the Light said, watching the Nothingness and the Everything fighting, playing, and chasing each other.
The Darkness shook his head. "They'll be at it all day! As far as I can tell."
The Light smirked. "Oh, let them have their fun."
The Darkness nodded. "At once, my dear."
As for the Void and the Infinity, they did their best to cooperate. For the Void and the Infinity could ever think of doing was swallowing each other. At least, that was as far as their relationship went.
As for God, He had other plans to begin his further creation of the worlds, dimensions, realities, universes, and galaxies. It was only a matter of time before these things should come to pass. For now, this would do.
So, what does everyone think of the story so far?
