' Thought
-dark void-
"Where am I?" "What is this place?" These are the first words out of my mouth as I open my eyes. As I look around, there is nothing but the suffocating feeling of the dark void. As I drift in the endless expanse, a stray thought worked it way through my brain. 'How did I end up here?' The memory hits me like a truck, literally in the sense, as it plays out in his head. He had saved a group of children from certain death.

At least those children will be able to live long lives now… I hope so anyway. A feminine voice responds " Don't worry they will." ….'wait who said that?' I start looking all around, frantically trying to find the voice. The voice then spoke out sounding from every direction. " No need to panic young Logan, you have no need to fear me." After calming down, I try to rationalize what was going on, ' Ok so I'm floating in darkness and being spoken to by a person I cannot see. This seems like all those isekai anime I liked to watch.' "Good so you figured it out without too much help. Yes Logan you have done a great deed by saving those five kids who were fated to die. By giving them your life, you tipped the comic scale in your favor."
'What do you mean? I only did what was right. Those kids didn't deserve that.' "Wait.. you can read my thoughts as well ?!? That's super weird and interesting all at once. Is there any way to speak to a person? Don't get me wrong, you have a lovely voice but not seeing someone is kinda off putting." 'No problem how about this?' The voice spoke before a green flash of light and a very attractive woman appeared before me. As her feet touched the ground, I got a good look at her. It took me a minute to realize she looks like that sexy golfer that everyone talked about.
"Are you done ogling me now? Or do you need a second?" The being chuckled at my embarrassment but trying to save face, I eye her up and let's say my high school addiction to goth and alternative girls was in high gear. I couldn't help but say " Damn, you are the sexiest woman I seen in my life." She was wearing a mix of goth and steampunk and I'm not afraid to say I got wood. 'Lol, I need to be careful, this woman is clearly powerful and could kill me but what a way to go.' "Why, thank you for saying that. It's nice to feel appreciated." As I look at her face, I realized I don't know her name. So as I'm ready to ask her name, she says "It's been so long since I used my name I cannot remember. Just call me Evie." 'Evie huh? Pretty name for a pretty lady.'
"So what did you mean about tipping the scale in my favor?" Evie just looks at me and says "Have you or have you not watched those isekai anime's or not? Due to your sacrifice to save those 5 kids you get 5 perks to use in the world I send you to." I float there in shock. I get perks to use. That is unheard of, however I gotta ask "Why 5 perks when those anime only every give 1? The only reason I can think of is that those kids are destined for big things." Evie replied " I knew you were smart enough to know the reason why. Each one of these kids will change this earth for the better due to your sacrifice. So just know you're leaving this earth in great hands." Huh, well that is a relief I guess. So what do I want my perks to be?
I guess it would help me determine what favors I want if I knew what universe I'm going to. "So Evie, what universe am I starting life over in and what are the rules I need to follow?" Evie puts a finger to her chin. "The rules are to live your life how you want to, just know that the plots of these universes will happen either way. You can let them happen or change them how you see fit. Hell you can rule the world if you want., have massive harems, whatever you choose." Free rein to do what I please? Sign me upright now. "The worlds you can pick from are on this list. The greyed out ones you haven't unlocked yet. Yes Logan, depending on your perks, you could be eligible for world hopping once you complete the main quest."
The shock of what I had in front of me was astounding. I get to live all the fantasy nerds wet dreams and I gotta say I'm downright excited. Shaking myself out of it, I look at the list and see twenty worlds on it. Of course some of them are standard, like one piece, MHA, dragon ball. Not gonna lie DxD looked good but as I reach the bottom I see danmachi and immediately thought this is the one. A dungeon crawler with tons of skills and waifus dude I'm down. I turn to Evie and said "I choose Danmachi. It just seems perfect for what I always wanted to do." Evie tilted her head and asked " What is that?" The gleam in my eyes made Evie blush a bit from the intensity. "I always wanted to be a blacksmith. Me joining Hephaestus familia would be a dream cause both Hephaestus and Tsubaki were hot as hell. Drooling slightly I wiped my face and told Evie "That is my choice." She blinked at my decision and said " Very well, it's off to Danmachi for you. Have you thought of your perks?" I had and after careful thought it was between ' Get Creative' from the hidden dungeon only I can enter or the skill set choice from konosuba as my main power. While konosuba lets you copy abilities, it only ones that you see or available through class choice. The answer was obviously gonna be " I choose the skill 'get creative ' as one of my perks but I want to change how to receive LP points." Evie conjures a chair and sits while saying " Ok how would you like to gain LP?" I look her in the eyes and show her. 'Through intimate acts, final strike on defeated enemies, and every piece of equipment I sell, depending on rarity determines points.' She looks impressed and agrees with a nod of her head.
Next choice was tough but I decided to go with something to help me with the blacksmith ability. "I chose with my next perk the 'Knowledge on how to make anything across the multiverse, from imagination or VG with a forge.' I want to be able to make anything I choose so why not help myself out?" I think it is a great choice and perfect for me and Evie agrees with me. "That one makes a lot of sense for you Logan and it will help you out immensely." My other perks are tough to choose but I have selected 'Time manipulation , Genetic modification to an extent including skill manipulation, and indestructible AirPod max headphones that have the ability to play any song past, present, or future. Hey sue me working in a forge with no music has to be boring as hell.
So Evie stands up, looks me in my eyes fully for the first time and I noticed that she has monochromatic eyes. One is electric blue and the other is molten gold, both look like Kurumi Tokisaki 's eyes from Date-a-Live. Those eyes are sooo very sexy. Her face erupts into a violent blush and she starts to stutter "Lo..Logan! You shouldn't say stuff you don't mean! It's w..wro.. wrong to play with a girl's heart." I say "I mean it honestly you have the sexiest eyes ever. In fact can you make my eyes control the time manipulation and genetic manipulation? If they look anything like yours I'll be happy." Evie starts to swoon and almost passes out. I catch her before she hits the ground. Her blush is now full body and I swear steam is coming out her ears, so cute.
She scrambled to stand up. After coughing in her hand she says to me" No one ever complimented my eyes before and it's always been a sore spot for me. Since you truly meant that, to show my appreciation , I'll allow you to edit your personal appearance one time only so use it wisely." That's soo cool, I always wanted to do this. I look at a 3d image of myself, not that I was ashamed of my appearance but I could make me look like a blacksmith. First I changed the hair to medium length black hair with green streaks. Then changed my height to 6'3. I then gave myself the swimmer's build, strong looking but not bulky. And typically, I'm a man so I gave myself great 'equipment'.
As I finish the build, I failed to realize that Evie sneaked up on me. She looks over my shoulder and whispers in my ear "Well, well. That is a decent starter build for you Logan, especially the 'package'. You'll make any lover happy with that." Me being the smart ass I am say "Want to find out?" She blushes and mutters 'stupid hormones'. She coughs into her fist and says it's time to go. I ask her " Where in the timeline will I go? Can I pick the time?" She looks at me with a downright sinful smile and says "Sure where in the timeline would you like to go?" As a fan of the show I always wanted to explore Orario before the fall of Zeus and Hera. So I told her 25 years before the main storyline. This way I can experience everything and try to stop the OEBD. And try to have a chance with Alfia and Meteria. They were smoking hot. I look to Evie and ask "What do I start out with, and where do I appear in the world?" She tells me "The basics like armor, sword and starting money (50k). You will appear a short distance from the main gates of Orario." She looks me in the eyes with a sad look on her face "Your time is running short Logan, the only warning I'll give you is to pay attention to your surroundings and listen carefully to everything around you. The dungeon will know you've been blessed and make your dungeon travels harder. I will miss you and I wish the best." Damn girl, got me tearing up and shit. Sniff…. I give her my full attention and tell her "Evie it has been a pleasure and I don't want our time to end. Please feel free to talk to me in my dreams so we can keep seeing each other? (She smiles and nods) Then there is nothing more to say than wish me luck." As I start to fade away I hear her whisper " good luck" then darkness hits me.

This is my first fiction. Honestly just doing this for shits and giggles to say I tried something different. Honest constructive feedback is always appreciated. However to those trolls that get offended over the slightest misspelled word or the story isn't OC this is fan fiction where the fans make stories they want to see. I've been on this site for years and watched too many good authors quit cause of neck beards and dumbasses. If you flame for no reason then to flame, get a life, a job, a haircut. Shit… maybe you need all 3. Who knows anymore just move on to the next story in that sad thing you call a life.
