Sora hopped into the Gummi Ship. Donald and Goofy did suit. "Okay, Sora. Let's go to the next one," Donald said.
"One second. I have to save this picture," Sora replied. Sora typed on his Gummi Phone for a little while. Donald and Goofy's buzzed once Sora hopped out of the chair. "Hey! That was quick!" he exclaimed, running over to the little portable printer in a small corner of the ship. Sora put his hands on his hips and tapped his foot, leaning forward to watch the printer.
"'Buzz and Woody were a blast! Being a toy is a new experience that I will never learn how to do. P.S. I will come back and visit!'" Donald read aloud, looking at his phone.
"New Kinstagram post, Sora?" Goofy asked.
"Yep!" Sora said, grabbing a paper off of the printer and holding it up. "There, done!" Sora walked over to a bulletin board and tacked the new picture to the wall. The picture is of him, Donald, Goofy, Buzz and Woody. He managed to get a picture of them all. Perhaps the screen is bigger than it looks.
The picture sits next to another one with him, Donald, Goofy and Hercules and another picture with him and his party, Eugene, previously known as 'Flynn Rider,' and Rapunzel.
"Ya know, I like this board," Goofy said, smiling. "It helps keep the memories of our adventures and friends!"
"Plus they're still on this phone-thing Jiminy gave me."
"I thought you might like the camera, Sora!" Jiminy said, hopping onto Sora's shoulder.
"It's a nice touch," Sora agreed, smiling at the cricket. Sora hopped back onto his chair.
"Now can we take off?" Donald asked.
"Yes we can!" Sora said. "...once I figure out how to fly this thing again." Sora smiled nervously.
"SORA!" Donald cried.
"Be patient, Donald," Goofy said. "You only let him drive a little while ago."
"Yeah!" Sora agreed. "I'm still getting used to this!"
"It's not my fault if you couldn't drive!" Donald retorted.
"Hey! I was fourteen!" Sora cried.
"Just get on with it!" Donald replied.
Sora huffed at Donald and turned back around in his chair. "Hmm..." Sora crossed his arms and tapped his index finger on his arm. "A-ha! I think I got it!" Sora exclaimed. He uncrossed his arms and put his hands on the heart shaped steering wheel. "Let's go!"
After a little while of flying in silence, Goofy started a conversation. "Heya, Sora. Remember when we first told you the Gummi Ship ran on happy vibes?"
"Um...yeah," Sora said, turning around, but keeping his hands on the steering wheel.
"You were so confused!" Donald said, laughing.
"It was pretty confusing. Once we got to Agrabah, I was finally starting to understand it."
"Fair enough. It took me and Donald days to get it."
"That's because we weren't working together all too well," Donald admitted.
"What? Really?" Sora asked. "But you guys were friends long before I even came along!"
"Believe it or not, we didn't really work together very well," Donald said.
"Yeah, we were always trying to out work each other," Goofy agreed.
"I wouldn't believe it if I even heard it!" Sora said, turning back around and shaking his head. "You guys work too well together for me to believe that!"
"It's true, Sora," Donald said.
"No way..." Sora said.
"Believe it!" Donald said.
"Nope! Not gonna happen!" Sora said, shaking his head.
They drove in silence for a little longer before Sora turned on his phone. "Hey, Sora! You're driving!" Donald quacked.
"This'll be well worth it!" Sora said, glancing up and turning from an asteroid. He looked back down at his phone and clicked on something.
"Sora?" Goofy asked. Sora looked up and turned away from another asteroid. "Okay, aaandd...done!" Sora put his phone on the dashboard, barely grazing against an asteroid, scratching the paint off of the ship. Goofy winced at the screeching of the asteroid while Donald yelled at Sora. "Sorry, sorry!" Sora apologized.
Sora pushed a button on his phone once he steered clear of more asteroids. A small interlude, followed by the first verse, played on his phone before he started singing with it.
"And I would walk five hundred miles, and I would walk five hundred more!" Sora sang.
"Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles to fall down at your door!" Goofy joined in.
"Da da da dah!" Sora and Goofy both sang. Sora and Goofy smiled at Donald who crossed his arms. "No," he stated.
"Da da da dah!" they continued. "Da da-na-na-na-na-na-nah! Da da dah! Da da da dah! Da da-na-na-na-na-na-nah!"
They waited for the second verse to end. Goofy and Sora began to sing again, this time, Donald joined in. "And a one, two, three, four!" Sora chanted before continuing with the chorus.
"Da da da-WHAT?" Sora cried, his song interrupted.
"What is that?!" Donald cried.
"I don't know!" Sora leaned forward in his chair to get a better look. Donald and Goofy joined him at the windshield.
Outside is a giant Heartless ship. There are turrets at the bottom and top of the ship, while the top has a huge black cube on the top. The bottom opened up and a horde of Heartless ships flew out. Rockets rose from the sides of the ship, pushing open trap doors.
"Now that is a ship!" Sora said, excited.
"What are you talking about?" Donald yelled. "We have to fight this thing!"
"Oh...yeah," Sora sighed. "I wish it didn't have to come to that."
Everyone scrambled back to their seats. "All right, guys. Let's take this ship down!" Sora cheered.
"Right!" Donald and Goofy said in unison, nodding.
Sora pushed a button on the dashboard to ready the guns. Small ships floated beside the Gummi Ship. "Let's do this."
"Fire!" Donald yelled. Donald and Goofy took charge of the small ships while Sora fired at the big one. Each shot either deflected off of an invisible barrier or bounced off the ship altogether. "Nothing's working on this thing!" Sora called.
"Use your special weapon!" Donald responded.
"Right!" Sora opened a hatch on the dashboard of the ship and slammed his hand on a purple button. The bottom of the Gummi Ship opened. A medium sized purple ship flew out. It floated above the Gummi Ship and began preparing a laser. Sora dodged a few missiles and lasers while the weapon charged.
Once it was ready, the weapon fired and vanished. The purple-white beam shot at the Heartless ship. "Come on. Come on!" Sora muttered.
The laser broke through the invisible barrier but nothing more. "No!" Sora whined. "It didn't work, Donald!"
"Sora! Look out!" Donald and Goofy both called, Goofy pointing out the window.
Sora turned to the window to see a blur of white. "Hang on, guys!" Sora cried, gripping the steering wheel tighter.
The white blur hit the ship. The alarms blared and a screen came up on the monitor. "Not good!" Jiminy said, jumping onto the dashboard near the monitor. "The ship has taken too much damage. It needs to be repaired."
"We don't have any Gummi Blocks to repair it!" Goofy said.
"Then we're in for a bumpy ride!" Sora yelled over the alarm, which is growing increasingly louder. "Hang on!"
Sora switched the monitor over to the control screen. He clicked the backup engine on, only to find that has been damaged as well. "We're going to crash!" Sora yelled.
Sora held onto the steering wheel as his feet began to rise up off of the floor. The ship began to shake violently. "Sora! What's happening?" Donald asked, his voice shaking with the ship.
"One of the engines is off!" Sora yelled, his voice also shaking. Donald quacked loudly. The right wing of the Gummi Ship sparked. The ship turned sharply once the engine broke off. The engine malfunctioned and used a little bit of extra fuel. It flew towards the Heartless ship and descended into one of the open compartments of the ship. The Heartless ship imploded.
"Hang on!" Goofy yelled, although his voice is barely audible over the alarm ringing.
The Heartless ship turned into dust, which then opened a portal, although this portal is a different color. This one is green. "Donald? What is that?" Sora asked.
"WHAT?" Donald screamed.
The Gummi Ship started floating towards the portal. "Donald!" Donald screamed. Goofy summoned his shield and pulled Sora and Donald under, him on top.
The radar beeped violently as the ship entered the portal. Sora closed his eyes for a minute. Goofy put his arms around Sora and Donald.
Sora reopened his eyes to find that the Gummi Ship's radar and control panel are both sparking. The right wing is smoking while the left wing is sparking. "Here comes a crash landing!" Goofy yelled as loud as possible. Even so, it was still hard to hear.
Sora peeked around Donald's head and Goofy's arm. Coming in quickly is another world. This one sphere shaped with a man riding into war, horseback, on the top and large, colorful, skull balloons on the bottom. Sora closed his eyes as the new world approached.
