Job Drawing For The School Play
One day in Missis Miller's kindergarten class, Missis Miller called her class to the book corner.
"Story time, everyone!" the teacher called.
Josie and her classmates sat down for the story.
"So, Missis Miller," Valerie asked. "what story will you be reading to us today?"
"The story of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs." Missis Miller answered.
The girls smiled but the boys groaned and gathered around their teacher.
Missis Miller began reading the book, when story time was over, Josie came up with a good idea.
"Missis Miller." Josie said.
Missis Miller turned, "What is it, Josie?" Missis Miller asked.
"We could do a play! We can act out the Snow White story and join Miss Andrews' first grade class and draw jobs for the play!" Josie exclaimed.
"Splendid idea, Josie!" Missis Miller exclaimed.
"I love a good princess story." Josie observed.
When they met up with Miss Andrews and her class.
"There's Alexander," Josie said to Melody and Valerie. "I'm going to say hello."
Melody noticed that Valerie had a far off look in her eyes.
"Come on, Valerie," Melody said. "it is time for the drawing!"
Alexandra was the first to draw.
"Oh," Alexandra sighed. "I got the wicked queen."
Alan was the next to draw, "Sweet! I'm Doc! The leader of the seven dwarfs!" he exclaimed.
One by one, the children in each class drew their part or job for the play.
Until at last, it was Valerie and Alexander's turns to draw.
Valerie drew first, "Yes! I'm playing Snow White!" she exclaimed.
Alexander was the final child to draw.
"Yes! I'm playing Snow White's prince!" Alexander exclaimed.
