Inside a nice looking home in a suburb. 11 year old Kiara Kamiya is sitting at the small table in the kitchen, a piece of paper in front of her as she studied it. Movement is heard and she looked around to see her father and her aunt having a little argument.
"All I'm saying." Kari Kamiya is saying as they get close. "You put the pot on the railing like that, it's gonna fall."
"Fine!" Tai Kamiya threw is hands in the air. "I'll move it." He slides into a chair next to his daughter. "Hey kiddo, whatcha got there?" He asked, sliding the paper towards himself.
"Can I go to that summer camp?" She asks him.
"You want to go to a summer camp and not soccer camp?" Kari asks, moving her hand to rest it on her niece's forehead. "You feel normal."
Kiara giggled as she pushed her aunt's hand away, she turns to look up at her father. "Please dad?"
"But I had you all ready to go for soccer camp." Tai pouts, then sighed. "But if this summer camp is what you want."
Kiara smiled. "Thank you dad!" She jumps up and grabs him in a hug.

In America, in a very fancy large home. 11 year old Sakura Tachikawa smiled as she stood in front of long mirror as she twirled in a pink dress, her long hair down to the middle of her back.
"Sakura dear, I've signed you up for a camp this summer." Mimi Tachikawa said as she walked into her daughter's room, causing her to spin around with a big grin.
"Cheerleading camp!?" She asks hopefully.
"Uh, no." Mimi shook her head as she moves further into her daughter's room. "As you know, I use to live in Japan." She sits down on a big stuffy chair. "And with my new job, we'll be going back and forth during some summers. And I thought it would be a good idea if you went to the same summer camp that I did, you'd meet some friends."
Sakura pouts. "But I don't wanna go." Her shoulders slump. "All that walking and being all sweaty and." She trailed off with a shiver.
Mimi sighed. "Well, I'm sorry. But I got you all signed up."
"Eww!" Sakura shivered again. "Why do I have to smell like sweaty old gym socks during the whole summer!?"
"I lived through all of that." Mimi said firmly, clearly remembering the summer camp when she and her friends met and befriended and saved the Digital World. "I lived through every hike and mountain climb."
Sakura blinked in surprise. "Wow, you did all that?"
Mimi nods with a smile. "I did." She stands up. "And so will you."

A few days later.
"Ok!" Tai announces as he rushes around. "Cereal?"
"Check!" Kiara calls, placing two bowls in the kitchen sink.
"Equipment?"
A duffle bag is lifted off the floor and a soccer ball rolls out. Kiara picks it up. "Check!"
"Yes!" Tai cheers, grabbing a light blue jacket from the back of a chair. "Let's move, we're going to be late!" The two hurry towards the front door. "Wait!" He calls just seconds of the front door closing. Father and daughter stop and turn around just as the door clicks. "Now, we're going to be late." Tai said as he grips the doorknob. "Left the keys inside."
"Ugh." Kiara drops her head with a sweat drop. "Lucky for us, Aunt Kari has a spare."
