(Franklin Street...

The most infamous Street in the town of Royal Woods, specifically as that street had the house that was twelve sixteen Franklin avenue...or better known to the residents of Royal Woods as the Loud House!

The Loud House was home to the most infamous family in all of Royal Woods, the Louds! This particular family was widely believed to be the largest known family in the entire city's history and with a household filled with ten daughters, one son, two parents, and a unknown large number of pets packed into their residence like a can full of sardines ready to pop out at any moment!

The other reason the members of the Loud family were so infamously known is because they do live up to their name 'Loud' in more ways than one! Not only were they noisy and rambunctious, they could be that at any time, even late at night, both inside and outside of their home. And not only were they loud, but they were a rather...'unique' bunch as well, which usually led to trouble every now and then.

But despite all of the mishaps and misadventures that the Loud family has gotten themselves into over the years, there is one thing remained constant... they were still a very tight-knit family who wouldn't trade each other for anything in the world. Still, even the closest of families had their moments where their familial bonds would become strained and the Louds were certainly no exception to this rule as all this time.)

(The story begins with the middle child of the Loud family, a coincidentally the only boy besides the father..Waming up from whatl was surely an uncomfortable sleep as he had to sleep on the couch was the one, the only, Lincoln Loud.

Letting out a massive yawn Lincoln stretched his arms as far as they could until he heard a popping sound, indicating that a satisfying crack had just occurred. With that satisfying pop Lincoln scratched his back and began to get up from the uncomfortable place he slept last night.)

Lincoln: I really hope that spending last night away from each other was enough for Lori and Leni to calm down. I don't know if I can deal with the Protocol for another...

(Lincoln looks towards the audience and mutters to himself.)

Lincoln: Oh...morning, guys. It's good to see some friendly faces, especially with everything that's been happening here lately. (Lincoln's smile turns into a frown.) Now I bet you're wondering why I'm not sleeping in my room right now. Well you see, things have been rather...let's just say "intense" here in the Loud House. Yesterday, my two oldest sisters older sisters, Lori and Leni had gotten into a fight with each other that had led to something that my sisters call the "Sister Fight Protocol" being enforced throughout the house. And while I'm certain that most of you guys are probably aware of what the fight was about, I mean come on, it's Lori and Leni. But there's nothing wrong with providing a reminder just in case. Now keep in mind that this is second hand knowledge as I wasn't here when it happened but let me tell you that it all started yesterday afternoon...

{Flashback}

{Inside the Loud family's living room, all of the Loud sisters minus Lori and Leni are sitting on the couch, eagerly chattering with each other.}

{Suddenly, Lori steps into the living room with several shopping bags in tow and excitedly squeals as she just has to tell her sister is the exciting news.}

Lori: Guys, guys, guys! she toke an item (out of one of the bags - a blue-colored dress). Check out this dress I found at the mall! It's literally one-of-a-kind! Eeee!

{Upon seeing the dress, the others reply with "Ooh!" in unison, clearly impressed with their older sister's find. Even those who had no real interest in fashion had to admit that it was a very nice dress and was bound to look great on their oldest sister.

However, almost as if on cue to spoil both the moment and Lori's good mood...Leni sprints down the stairs, beaming with energy while wearing a similar-looking dress.}

Leni: O-M-Gosh, you guys! Look at this dress I found at the mall!

{Upon seeing the two oldest sisters with the same dress, the sisters let out a gasp! Lori, upon noticing Leni narrows her eyes in anger, clearly annoyed with her roommate stealing her much deserved thunder so to speak.

Walking over to Lori, Leni looks her over for a moment, still oblivious to the situation that was going down.}

Leni: Ooooh...when did we put a mirror in the living room

Lori: (throws her dress in anger) That's not a mirror, that's me! Now go take your dress back!

Leni: What? No! You take yours back!

{As for the other Loud sisters, they whistle awkwardly while retreating back to their rooms, not wanting anything to do with their argument.}

{Flashback Ends}

Lincoln: Now I bet you're thinking that is the most ridiculous thing you guys have ever heard. Why are they fighting over a dress when it's honestly not a big deal. I mean what's wrong with wearing identical clothes as me and Clyde do it all the time and you guys don't see us at each other's throats! But when I pointed this out to our other sisters they said that it's a 'girl' thing and that as a 'guy'I just wouldn't understand. It's honestly also stupid as it feels like the house has been turned upside down and this doesn't even feel like my house anymore. Still, it was enough of a reason for my sisters to enforce the Sister Fight Protocol throughout the house. And because of the Protocol, I couldn't go into the kitchen to get myself a snack which led to me unknowingly eating a 'couch bagel', I had to use a bucket to...er, "handle my call of nature" if Lori or Leni were using the bathroom as a cool-off spot and I got beaten up by three of my sisters because I wanted to watch the "Monster Madness" monster truck rally that I've been looking forward to all week.

Lincoln: Now I bet you're shaking your heads and wondering 'Lincoln, why don't your parents put a stopped all of this nonsense and get the house back in order?' Well even my parents aren't exempt from the Protocol's effects on the house since not only did they have to follow the same restrictions that are placed on me, but my Dad had to waste several days worth of groceries, cooking two separate dinners yesterday because Lori and Leni didn't want to sit at the dining table together...I know, a waste of good food. Anyone would get confused by the whole Sister Fight Protocol and it's many confusing rules and restrictions.

Lincoln: Anyway, after I learned about Lori and Leni's fight and the reason behind it, I decided that the best way to help things go back to normal would be to help mediate things between them." continued the white-haired middle child before scratching the back of his head nervously as a nervous chuckle came out of his mouth.

Lincoln: And I will admit...uh, that I didn't exactly do a good job at it. In fact, I ended up making Lori and Leni even angrier at me and each other afterward. After that, the rest of my sisters just told me to "butt out", and eventually Lori and Leni would settle their fight on their own.

(But that was just his personal opinion and he knew he couldn't bring it up with his other sisters otherwise it will result in what they like to call the fight cloud...)

Lincoln: Now I know what some of you are probably thinking - why didn't I, Lincoln Loud just follow the advice my sisters gave me? It couldn't have been that hard to stay out of their way, right...? Well, I did try to do just that, believe it or not. I figured that since they didn't want me to get involved with Lori and Leni's fight, I'd just stay in my room and read a few of my comic books until things calmed down and went back to normal. Heck, it would've worked out perfectly for me since I was behind on a few issues anyway, and staying in my room would give me the chance to catch up. Seemed simple enough to work, right?

(That is when a scowl appeared on Lincoln's face before he decided to respond to the "viewers".)

Lincoln: Wrong! (with two thumbs down.) Apparently, my sisters decided that my decision to stay out of their way by sticking to my room wasn't "butting out" enough for them. Allow me to explain why I'm not in my room right now doing what they said.

{Flashback}

{Lincoln was on his bed, within the confines of his room, relaxing with one of his graphic novels in his hands, though the expression on his face clearly showed that he wasn't entirely focused on what he was reading.

Then again, anyone in his position would be annoyed, especially after missing out on watching the monster truck rally he had been looking forward to all week, being told that he can't go into the kitchen to get a snack since Lori was in there, and having to "do his call of nature" in Lana's smelly poop bucket because Leni wanted to use the bathroom as a cool-off spot.

Still, maybe his sisters were right that things would settle themselves if he stayed out of the way, which is why he was currently in his room right now, just reading a comic book. And after upsetting Lori and Leni earlier, it was probably safer for him to keep his distance. Lori was bad enough when she was angry, but Leni? He didn't want to think about how she would be when she was really mad as they say it's the unexpected ones who do the worst!

Besides, he had a few unopened comics and manga to read in here in order to wait things out anyway, so staying in his room instead of watching the monster truck rally he had been looking forward to all week wasn't really that big of a loss.}

Lincoln: Might not be the Monster Madness Rally, but there's nothing wrong with a little manga, Yep. Just me and my…

{Suddenly, the door bursts open as Luna and Luan, both wearing yellow safety vests and headphones with microphones attached, pop into his room, startling their white-haired brother.}

Luna: Scram, dude. We need your room.

Lincoln: What? Why?

Luan: Lori's approaching the sector and we can't risk a run-in with Leni.

Lincoln: Why can't you use your room? Or somewhere else?

Luna: No time to argue with you about this, little bro. Out. Now. (Luna as she shoved Lincoln out into the hallway while Luan led Leni into his bedroom.) "Coast is clear, brah. (slamming the door shut, leaving Lincoln standing out in the hallway, clearly annoyed.)

{As Lori came up the stairs and headed down the hallway, Lincoln heard his bedroom door opening again, followed by Luna and Luan escorting Leni out of his room.

The sight of his older sister using traffic control wands to lead Leni out of his room would've been amusing if it wasn't for the fact she had kicked him out of said room just a few moments ago.}

Luna: All clear, bro.

{Her brother rolled his eyes before heading back into his room and getting back onto his bed to continue reading his manga…only for his door to burst open a few seconds later as Luna and Luan came into his room again, this time with Lori in tow.}

Lincoln: Are you kidding me? Again!?

Luan: "Lincoln, make like a drum and beat it. (laughs.) Get it? But seriously, out.

{And just like that, almost as soon as he had returned back to his room, he was booted out of his room both figuratively and very literally.

After watching Leni head into her room and close the door, Lincoln lets out a sigh.}

Lincoln: Dang it.

{Flashback End.}

Lincoln: So not only was I kicked out of my room once, but TWICE! I mean, come on! I was trying to stay out of their business like they said and they had to get me involved by using my room! I mean why couldn't they have use one of the many rooms they have available like their own! With all of my sisters with their earpieces could have easily used another room as the chances of both of them being in the same room, especially with this whole Sister Fight Protocol in effect would have been minimal at best! But no! Once again they have to use my room for one of their stupid reasons! But no, apparently Luan and Luna decided that my room - MY ROOM of all places - was the perfect place to prevent Lori and Leni from running into each other! How hard could it have been for them to use one of the other rooms? There were plenty of options available!

(But he took a few seconds to calm down as he knew he needed to better explain the situation if he wanted to get his point across.)

Lincoln: Now if you think that's the worst of it then I'm sorry to say that you're wrong. Not only did Luna and Luan kick me out of my room twice, but Lana went and took my sheets and blanket without asking just so she could make a divider for my older sisters. (gesturing to his room.) hat was the last straw for me! So I decided to get involved again. This time by suggesting that Lori and Leni sleep in separate rooms to keep the peace! Hopefully, separating those two from each other will get things to calm back down again so everything can go back to normal.

Lincoln: Oh how wrong I was. This only lead to Luna and Luan and now all of my sisters are fighting. Man if I knew this was going to happen I would have kept my big mouth shut as how was I supposed to know the whole sleeping in separate rooms solution would backfire so badly...But then again this is my sister started talking about so I should have expected this a mile away... that was honestly my bad. nd to think this all started over a stupid dress? Why can't Lori and Leni just go to the store and see who bought it first as I'm sure they have security cameras with time date stamps and everything... (his eyes grew white as I realization hit him as he facepalmed.)

Lincoln: The store! Of course! I bet their sales records would show who bought the dress first and everything! And considering it's most likely a clothing store they probably have working security cameras pointed at the cash register. Lori and Leni are without doubt on video, and the footage could clearly show who bought the dress first!

(Surely going to the store and asking who bought the dress first would have been the obvious solution but because of the whole Sister Fight Protocol he couldn't think clearly!)

Lincoln: But how do I get the store to show me the security footage?...The receipts! I'm sure if I show them the receipts they will show me the security footage and I can show everyone else! That way there is concrete proof that someone bought the dress before the other and this matter will be settled once and for all! I should tell the others about this! (He headed to the living room to see his sisters.)

(Only to stop in his tracks as soon as he saw them fighting amongst one another in a vicious brawl for supremacy! This make the middle child of the Loud family think again about opening his mouth and alerting his sisters of his presence as it was clear all of them were mad at him from the way they were acting and any knowledge of his presence would probably be a bad idea to his person!)

Lincoln: Okay, there's no way I'm going to be dragging that brawl as they're likely going to team up on me and I'm going to end up in the hospital with some major injuries if I don't do something else. I think I'll just go to my room until they get tired or they stop fighting against one another!

(He then began to quickly make his way up the steps as contrary to proper relief moving slower actually makes more noise than moving fast as there's less resistance on the ground. Lincoln make sure to avoid the loose floorboard on the stairs as that would have alerted his sister's of his presence and that is the last thing he wanted so he quickly just jumped over the loose floorboard and made his way up the steps.

Once he was sure he was on the second floor did Lincoln make a beeline to his room where he quickly shut the door behind him!)

(Meanwhile Rita and Lynn Sr for busy eating their pizza as they heard the sounds of furniture breaking and glass falling onto the floor!

Rita: Oh, it sounds like we have gone from rampaging T-Rex to exploding volcano! Lynn, are we sure we can't let Lincoln inside the room?

Lynn Sr: Rita, I'm worried about him as much as you are but we can't do anything about it! If we even think about removing those planks the girls will bust in and ruin the room! You remember what the first sister fight protocol was like and we weren't ready for it! Now we are and we can't make the same mistake twice.

Rita: "I know, but Lincoln is out there on his own. (Rita looks over at her youngest child with worry as she was so glad that Lily was with them as there's no way she would have survived the protocol.)

Lynn Sr: "Lincoln is a smart kid and he has dealt with his sisters more than anyone else! I'm sure he'll figure out a way out of this as he's a smart Rita.

Rita: But so far Lincoln has made things worse with his ideas and now all of the girls are arguing amongst one another and I can hear stuff being thrown.

Lynn Sr: You and I both know when the girls are like this they don't listen to reason! Lincoln knows this as well, so I'm sure he'll come up with a solution to keep himself safe until the girls calm down and talk amongst one another. Besides, I already gave Lincoln a good piece of advice by telling him to stay out of it has this isn't the first Sister Fight Protocol and it won't be the last. Lincoln needs to learn how to survive this like we did and I'm sure he'll quickly adapt as he is the 'man with a plan.

Rita: But why didn't the girls warn him about the protocol before. You hurt with Bobby said earlier about the rampaging T-Rex. He already knew about the protocol and yet Lincoln didn't.

(This causes Lynn Sr to stop eating his pizza.)

Lynn Sr: Huh, that's actually a good point. Well I guess that's one thing we have to discuss when the protocol is over as that's a good point.

Rita: Oh, I hope Lincoln finds somewhere safe to hunker down.

(Meanwhile in his room linking with panting like a thirsty dog as his face was covered with bullet size sweat. He knew that the situation in the house was getting worse by the day and he had to do something otherwise he would be in a world of pain as he was sure sooner or later his sister is would agree with one another that this was all his fault and that he needed to pay!)

Lincoln: The girls are out of control, Mom and Dad aren't doing anything to stop them and if I stay here, I run the risk of my sisters getting angry enough to hurt me for 'making things worse. And they sound mad enough to do it. It's not safe for me here. I need to get out...at least until things calm down and I'm no longer at risk of getting beaten up.

(However, that train of thought presented Lincoln with a new problem.

Who would he stay with until things calmed down again?

Mom and Dad's room was definitely out of the question since they had it boarded up tight. And he couldn't just hole up in his room since not only would he need to leave in order to eat or use the bathroom, but he knew that somehow, his sisters would find a way to barge into his room.

Lincoln's train of thought then turn to his friends but then there was another problem with that...)

Lincoln: Clyde it's a good option but he is out of town visiting his nana. I could stay over at Ronnie Anne's house...but Bobby also lives there and there's a chance Lori will go to visit Bobby... and if she sees me there I can only imagine what she'll do to me after all the mess I caused! Those you are definitely out of the question and the others live too far away from me to walk to their houses. Dang it. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. If only Pop-Pop were here...he'd know what to... (his eyes widened in realization.) Pop-Pop, of course! He can help me get out of this mess!

(Rushing over to his phone, Lincoln quickly dials in the number to his grandfather's room at the Sunset Canyon Retirement Center, silently pleading that his grandfather on his mother's side wasn't busy at the moment...as he was probably his only hope in getting out of this situation in one piece!)

(As Lincoln tried to quickly dial his grandfather's number as fast and as thoroughly as he could, Albert was doing nothing better than sitting in his reclining chair in his room. The man in question was staring at an old photograph be had where he was a younger man standing in front of an impressive looking building, next to him was five young man wearing business suit Albert smiled at the photo as it has been a while since he has heard from his old friend.)

Albert: I haven't spoken to them in a while... maybe I should call them up and introduce them to the kids next time they visit.

(But before Albert can finish his sentence, the sound of his phone ringing interrupted him as he looked to see that someone was calling him, so he decided to pick up the phone and see who was at the other end.)

Albert: This is Albert speaking, who's this?

Lincoln: Pop-Pop! Thank goodness you answered!

Albert: I've always got time to talk to my favorite grandson. So how are things?

Lincoln: They...could be better at the moment, honestly.

Albert: Anything, kiddo. What do you need?

Lincoln: If it's okay with you...I'd like to spend some time with you away from the house. Can you come and pick me up?

Albert: A visit? Lincoln, you don't need to call in a favor for that. I'm always happy to have you and the girls over for a visit.

Lincoln: Um...no, it's not exactly a visit as it's just me. I need a place to crash for a while until things cool down here at the house. And I figured you would be the best option. (a loud sound that sounded like someone getting thrown into a wall could be heard, causing a look of concern to appear on Albert's face.)

Albert: L-Lincoln? What was that? What's going on?

Lincoln: I-I can't go into details right now, Pop-Pop. I just need to get out of the house for a while, but I promise you that once we're back at the retirement home, I'll explain everything, okay? Just...can you come and pick me up, please?

Albert: I'll...see what I can do, kiddo. Just hold tight, okay? (he hangs up the phone.)

(After looking at the receiver for a moment, he dials another number, calling his daughter's personal phone.)

Albert: Maybe Rita can fill me in on what's going on here...

(In Lynn Sr and Rita's Room)

Lynn Sr: Okay, I think these new boards will hold up until the girls come down and we can have that talk with them. (he looked over the new ply boards he put on to the door in order to keep it secure.)

Rita: Thanks honey. I'm so glad we decided to talk to the girls and tell them that the Sister Fight Protocol will never happen again.

Lynn Sr: Yeah, as now that I think about it it's ridiculous that we have to do all these rules just to keep the girls from going off the handle. Do you have any idea how much money I spent on food just to cover two meals. We'll going to have to penny pinch for a while just because of that.

Rita: While I do agree the girls need to cool off every now and again they have to understand that not everyone can accommodate to their whims just because they have a disagreement. The world doesn't work like that and if they tried that in the real world they could get fired from their jobs are worse. By doing this with teaching our daughters a very important life lesson.

Lynn Sr: Yeah, now we just have to wait out the storm and wait for them to come down enough so they can listen to reason. (He hears his wife's phone ring.) I think that's for you.

(Rita quickly nodded her head in picked up the phone, before she answered it.

Rita: Hello?

Albert: It's me.

Rita: Dad, I'm so glad to hear from you!

Albert: I'm glad to hear from you as well...Rita, is everything all right in the house? (This causes his daughter's smile to fade.)

Rita: Well...no, things are not all right right now but they could be worse.

Albert: Well I just got a phone call from Lincoln and I heard some very disturbing noise in the background. He asked if you could stay with me for a while so I'm wondering if you know what's going on? (This causes both Loud parents to realize that Albert had some idea of what was going on.)

Lynn Sr: Oh no! I told Lincoln to stay out of it but did he decide to tell Albert everything?!'

Rita: Well... the girls have just had a disagreement with one another and they're kind of taking it out of proportion.

Albert: disagreement? What kind of disagreement?

Rita: Well Lori and Leni both bought the same type of dress not too long ago and they can't decide who got their dress first.

Albert: A dress? They are fighting over a dress?

Rita: Well you know how the girls can get at times and these things happen. So far they have dragged the others into this mess and no one can agree who got the dress first.

Albert: Why didn't they just go to the store and ask to see the security cameras or something? I'm sure the store will remember them as pretty much everyone in town knows the Loud family.

(This causes both Rita and Lynn Sr to look at each other before facepalming.)

(Why didn't they think of that sooner? The store was one of the most popular stores in Royal woods and definitely had security cameras as retail stores usually do! And security cameras can tell exactly who bought the dress first so why didn't their daughters think of going to the store and asking who got the dress first instead of enacting the Sister Fight Protocol?)

Rita: That is a very good suggestion dad... I'm a little surprised our girls didn't think of that. But until things blow over can you please pick up Lincoln and take him with you until things are better handled here.

Albert: I'll be there in half an hour so tell Lincoln to wait outside. (hangs up the phone.)

Lynn Sr and Rita: Phew...

Lynn Sr: It doesn't appear that Lincoln said anything about the Sister Fight Protocol Rita. But your dad's definitely going to figure it out when he gets here.

Rita: Maybe we need an outside perspective Lynn as I'm still upset that Bobby knew about this and Lincoln didn't! Dad is the sweetest man you ever met but make him upset and you'll regret it. He's probably the only person who can get the girls in line. So I think we should hear him out.

Lynn Sr: ...Yeah... I suppose you have a point as I think we need to have a wake up call. We let this protocol get too far and now the girls are tearing the house apart. Can you imagine what they would do when they're out of the house and try to use this protocol on the outside world...Rita, I don't even want to imagine it.

Rita: Well hopefully Lincoln can get out of the house without getting a scratch. (texts her son and telling him what was going on.

(Pop Pop will be here to pick you up in thirty minutes, To which Lincoln responded with a thumbs up!)

Rita: Well now that that's taken care of what exactly are we going to say to our girls when we have that talk with them?

Lynn Sr: I don't know Rita as you know how stubborn they can be. But this is something we have to do, especially for Lori as she's almost going to college soon and she can't be acting like this in the real world.

Rita: Well once things have settled down we're going to have a long talk with our girls...A LONG talk

(Meanwhile Albert was getting into the Sunset Canyon Shuttle with the intention of having the driver take him to the loud house and see what is going on as he has a feeling that his family is keeping him in the dark about something!)
