FOREWORD
Years ago, I began working on my first Overlord stories. My first Potterverse crossover, Yield to the Darkness, I look back on and cringe. There were better ways of doing it, I felt, if it was set in the Potterverse, and perhaps I will find a way to do so. My Red vs Blue crossover Xenagogy for Belligerent AIs and Dungeon Denizens was better, but still makes me cringe somewhat in hindsight.
Since then, I haven't really done a crossover with that franchise…but I found myself struck by a number of ideas, especially after reading the latest light novel in English, The Witch of the Doomed Kingdom, which was also the latest light novel to be adapted. In some regards, this story will take after Xenagogy, but also elements of dEBB987's excellent story Raid Boss, which I encourage you guys to read. And hopefully, you'll enjoy this story.
Anyway, some disclaimers before we get to the story. Firstly, there will be spoilers for the Harry Potter series and for Overlord. You have been warned.
Secondly, there will be annotations. If you feel the urge to complain, then resist it, or better yet, strangle it.
Thirdly, this is an M-rated work. There will be language, violence, and sexual references. Again, you have been warned.
