"Learning to Fly"
Bayonetta stands outside of the temple where she needed to go "This must be the place." she said.
She headed to the bridge connecting the temple and land but a tornado destroyed the bridge "haste makes waste," is it? Detours aren't my style, but I suppose there's no choice." Bayonetta said.
She entered a small cave and it appeared almost Inferno-like "I'd recognize the rancid air of Inferno anywhere... an unexpected chill in the middle of the desert." Bayonetta said about the Inferno-like wind.
She saw a red portal beaming and went up to the tower she saw another echo of memory "What was it that Jeanne used to say... "Your lack of conviction is your weakness." Here's the proof of my conviction." B3 Bayonetta said.
She cut herself blood dropped on an Umbran symbol and she summoned a demon as her slave "I'm coming, Jeanne." B3 Bayonetta said.
Bayonetta performed the same summon bringing out the same demon Malphas. She flies on its back to the temple "Sometimes the scenic route actually pays off." Bayonetta said.
"Pleasure to see you're having a pleasant journey." Arch-Son said.
"See you're still keeping track of me." Bayonetta said.
"Head for the treasure room you should be able to find the Chaos Gear there." Arch-Son said.
She used Malphas to complete most of the puzzles. She soon found the treasure room where the Chaos Gear is. "Quite a collection… Enzo might actually shut up for once if he saw this." Bayonetta said about the treasure room.
She picked up a coin to see it has the face of this nation's ruler. She claimed the Chaos Gear "And that makes four… quite a handful, these." Bayonetta said.
"If all this effort doesn't make for a happy ending, I'll have some harsh words for that girl. For some reason that little one is scratching around in my mind. What has come over me?" Bayonetta asked.
The room collapse and she summoned Malphas to fly out of there not before taking a look at a coin that has her counterpart's image on it. She flies through caverns and entered the chamber of balance. "Find what you were looking for? You won't be the last person destroyed by greed." Singularity said.
Cirrostratus and Cirrocumulus were ready for battle.
Bayonetta turned to her left to see the alternate Jeanne "Princess?" Jeanne asked.
But a wall stopped her "Curse this damned wall!" Jeanne said.
"Relax, Jeanne. I'm not your princess, but I did promise our mutual friend that I'd come for you." Bayonetta said.
"Risking your existence for the sake of another. You clearly have no understanding of your part in all of this. Ignorance makes you all weak." Singularity said.
"Sounds like someone has led a rather solitary life, doesn't it?" Bayonetta asked.
"Indeed. And we'll waste no more time on this foolishness!" Jeanne said.
The two witches fight the Homunculi after an insane battle and avoiding the clouds of erasure they destroyed the walls and the Homunculi. Jeanne was impressed by this Cereza's skills but Cirrostratus wasn't finished. Arch-Son watched the battle and he knew what was coming next. Cirrostratus grabbed Jeanne and pulled her into its chest in a similar manner to Arch-Son "Jeanne!" Bayonetta shouted.
She aimed her guns at the monster and saw the pain and suffering Jeanne was going through "Forget about me. You've got to kill this beast... and me. Do it, now!" Jeanne begged for a mercy kill.
Bayonetta didn't have the heart to kill her best friend, an alternate version of her best friend no doubt but she couldn't do it "Quickly, damn it! Please..." Jeanne begged.
Arch-Son appeared he winked at Bayonetta he began his spell to save Jeanne Bayonetta lowered her guns knowing it was going to be okay for Jeanne. B3 Jeanne couldn't see Arch-Son because he did not allow his spell to allow her to see him. B3 Bayonetta came in and performed the mercy kill but Arch-Son's spell work he saved Jeanne's soul but her physical partly still had the soul left inside the body "Forgive me... my weakness failed you again." B3 Bayonetta apologized something the main Bayonetta would never do.
"No... you've grown stronger than you know... Cereza." B3 Jeanne said.
She appeared to have died but Arch-Son's spell was so convincing it appeared she died permanently. Arch-Son dropped his invisible spell "She's fine Princess Cereza she's with the others where they are as one." Arch-Son said.
Cirrocumulus attacked it's fallen monster and began feeding on its corpse hoping to grow with Jeanne's Arch-Eve power.
Arch-Son summoned his two more enforcers, a Two head Pteranodon and a Brachiosaurus. They began attacking the Homunculi but were unable to kill it yet B3 Bayonetta summoned Malphas to fly them out of the temple "I'm not the woman I used to be." B3 Bayonetta said.
"Now watch, Jeanne... I'll never bow to anyone again... not even myself!" B3 Bayonetta said.
They fly out of the temple and faced Stratocumulus. Singularity appeared "Hmm... The Arch-Eve's death should have set this world's end in motion... It is as if this world rejects its destiny." Singularity said.
"This world's destiny will be one that ends in light." Arch-Son said.
Bayonetta performs the Deadly Sin and summons Phantom. With the help of Arch-Son's dinosaurs and the two Bayonetta controlling their demons they are able to destroy Stratocumulus but the battle's explosion opened a black hole Bayonetta was knocked unconscious and falling into the black hole B3 Bayonetta sacrifice herself to save her knowing this Bayonetta is the one who will save them all.
"Jeanne.. did you see?" B3 Bayonetta asked as she falls into the black hole.
Bayonetta watches in horror but Arch-Son in his spirit form dives in to save B3 Bayonetta "I won..."B3 Bayonetta said what she believed were her final words.
"She's proud of you." Arch-Son said.
He saved the princess and Bayonetta returned to Thule knowing she has a powerful ally and that this battle is getting crazier by the minute.
