When the penguins finally caught up to Alice she had parked next to Joey the red kangaroo's habitat.

"Looks like the new arrival is going to be roommates with Joey" Private commented

The penguins looked at each other with uncomfortable looks.

They all knew that Joey was one of the toughest animals in the whole zoo.

Kowalski gulped before speaking up "Orders sir?"

Skipper shook his head a little before saying…

"Rico, you go distract Alice while the rest of us inform the bouncy marsupial of the situation."

Rico responded incoherently before belly sliding over to the golf cart.

Meanwhile Skipper, Kowalski and Private quickly went into Joey's habitat to try and talk to him.

It didn't take long for Joey to reveal himself.

The red kangaroo looked very intimidating as he towered over the small birds and looked at them with an angry squint.

"What are you birds doing here?" Joey asked in an angry tone

Private and Kowalski stood petrified in fear, even Skipper was a little nervous

"Come on! Joey doesn't have all bloody day!" the kangaroo boomed

Skipper quickly came forward to explain

"Listen Joey, we have some news for you. You're getting a new roommate."

The big kangaroo's face and mood quickly changed

"Well Joey thinks that sounds great!"

The penguins exchanged confused glances. Why was Joey happy about this news?

Then Kowalski remembered something

"Skipper, remember when the koala had to temporarily move in with Joey because we accidentally destroyed his habitat?

The leader of the penguins thought for a moment before he remembered what Kowalski was talking about.

"Oh right! They bonded over their mutual hatred of us…" Skipper said

Suddenly Rico jumped over the fence and started yelling incoherently.

Private gasped and said "Skipper, Alice is bringing the crate now!"

Skipper and other penguins quickly ran to hide in the bushes.

Alice brought the crate into the habitat and set it down.

"Alright let's get this over with" She muttered as she unlocked the crate's door

The penguins watched eagerly with anticipation

The door opened…

And out came a… kangaroo?
