Hey guys the last chapter was quite long yeah scratch the "consisntintly" I don't think I'll be able to do that sometimes I got a lot to write sometimes I don't so yeah I hope your enjoyed the story so far I know its prabably not what you wanted when searching for a good sory but hey lets see how this turns out, yeah? Yeah well I think thats all for right now (Yes this title is a meme)
I walked out of the music room beside Seaweed the restof the group behind us, I was quite confused about what dragons were talking about as we left. It was something about a party? I hadn't heard about any party that was untill the amount of dragons in the halls started to lighten up.
"Hey look! This flyer we're having a party in the great hall!" I said while the rest of the group stood behind me all freaking out it seemed they were more excited then everyone else.
"When is it!?" Mountain asked, yeah they were going crazy with excitment.
"Uh at 8:00" I said reading the bottom of the scroll. We still had about 4 and a half hours or so I also noticed the great hall would be blocked off before the party the scroll also said we can get in at 7:45 so yeah we had quite a bit to get ready. We all continued our approach to our room everyone chatting I talked a bit with Seaweed on the way, like what are you gonna wear, you gonna ask anyone out? Stuff like that. We saw copies of the flyer while we walked a few groups of dragons reading the flyers everyone was in the party spirit some were cheering some were just chatting with other dragons. I wasn't excactly sure how I felt about this I have never been to a party only hearing about them from my mom and stories I read. So yeah no party experience I didn't know what to expect tonight we were almost to our winglet room they really wanted everyone to know since there were a lot of flyers around while we were walking. We entered our room I went over to check my chest seeing if I still had any food as I opened it I hoped I'd still have a coconut I was pretty sure I had one but I had been pretty distracted today I scanned the open box I put my library card in it looking at the rest of the stuff I saw my drum and. Yes! There was a coconut I took it out examining it, it looked good I started cutting it with my claws. I noticed Seaweed was fidgeting with something again, Rain and Mountain were talk I couldn't here them but they were probably talking about the party, Iceberg was already asleep I could fall asleep pretty fast but Iceberg was on a different level and Star was reading some type of scroll. By then I had almost finished cutting open the coconut I was going slower then naormal I didn't want to spill any of the liquid I finsished after a quick second taking a few sips from the coconut. Seaweed took notice to my coconut.
"Dude you got coconuts?" he asked surprised I would have something like that.
"Well just this one but yeah" I replied. "They grow on the trees by the oasis" I added.
"Ohh ok" Seaweed said going back to his thing I haven't seen what ever he was doing his body blocked it I didn't really care either but for some reason it sparked my intrest just a little bit. I finished up my coconut putting the remains back in the chest so I could dispose of it later.
"So Rain and I were thinking, what if we play truth or dare!" Mountain blurted out, truth or dare what was that I had no idea the others also looked kinda confused but more in the know then me I think they knew what it was but they were unsure about it. Mountain must have noticed me being the only one who didn't know wha she was talking about. "Anyone who doesn't know the game is pretty simple someone starts with asking anyone truth or dare if they pick truth you would ask something like whats your name? They would have to tell the truth if they picked dare you would dare them to do something like I don't know punch a teacher!" Mountain said.
"I guess we can do that" Seaweed said. Everyone slightly nodded their agreement I fidgeted with they edge of my scarf.
"Ok!" Mountain said. "I'll go first" she added. She looked around. "Rain truth or dare?" Rain groaned she probably didn't want to go first I didn't want to either.
"Truth, I guess" she said looking very annoyed.
"Hmm who's your best friend?" Mountain asked.
"I don't know, probably lizard?" Rain responded. Mounatin looked offended.
"I thought I was your best friend" Rain started to laugh.
"Of course its you" she said. "Its my turn to ask someone now right?" she added.
"Oh yeah" Mountain said. Rain started to scan the room.
"Seaweed truth or dare" she asked looking directly at him.
"Dare" Seaweed said quickly it seemed he was ready for anything. Rain had a devious look on her face.
"Ok... I dare you to walk into a random winglet room and act like your part of it" Rain replied her smile growing bigger, Seaweed seemed to regret his choices he didn't think it would be this bad.
"Hmm ok I can do that" he said standing up we followed him outside to watch this dare unfold. I listened to the voices as Seaweed walked into the room next door the bronze winglet I think.
"Hey everyone" he said.
"Who are you?" I heard someone say.
"Cmon I'm part of this winglet" Seaweed replied.
"No your not" someone else replied.
"Oh let me just sit down" Seaweed replied I couldn't see what was happening only hear.
"Dude are you insane?" the other dragon asked. I heard some shuffling and Seaweed came face down on the floor in front of us. "This yours?" a MudWing asked coming out the door.
"Oh yeah" Mountain replyed her face started to become redder then normal I was trying my best to hold a laugh.
"See ya" I said to the MudWing by this time Seaweed got up we all returned to our room. Once we gpt in I started llaughing so hard I almost fell over Rain was equally hysterical. Iceberg was on the verge of dying from laughter Mountain.
"That was awsome" Rain said. We all went back to our spots I was still laughing no as hard though.
"Its my turn right?" Seaweed asked I knew he already knew who he was going to ask,
"Yeah!" Rain replyed.
"Hmm ok, Coyote truth or dare" I knew he was gonna ask me.
"I guess truth" I replyed not quite ready for some crazy dare.
"So have you ever almost died?" he asked everyone seemed alert for my anwser.
"Oh yeah I have" I said shrugging.
"Wait really!?" Seaweed asked. "You gotta spill." he added.
"Fine" I said. everyone was waiting for me to start. "So it was about 3 years ago back when I was only 1 year old, I was playing in the sand rolling down sand dunes and stuff when I saw something moving under the sand I went to check it out and, a dragon bite viper jumped out I barley dogded the snake I was able to fly up out of reach untill it left under the sand again" I said. Everyone looked shocked I wasn't that surprised if it even nicked me with its venom I would have died.
"You almost got bit by a dragon bite viper!?" Star said the other agreed that it was crazy how I survived normally dragons aren't fast enough to dogde it.
"I was just lucky" I said. "I'm glad that I was" I added.
"Its still insane that you went through that" Seaweed replied I nodded.
"Its my turn now yeah?" I asked Seaweed nodded. "Ok Star truth or dare?" I asked she looked surprised and very nervous.
"Uh truth" she replied.
"Ok whats your biggest secret?" I asked. Star looked scared but she took a deep breath and started talking.
"So Star isn't really my name just part of it." she said quickly everyone was surprised but I remembered what that NightWing called her StarChaser I think it was.
"Well what is your name?" Mountain asked. Star sighed.
"Its StarChaser" she said. "I thought people would think its weird so I asked the teachers to remove Chaser" she added looking down.
"Well with that do you want us to still call you Star?" Rain asked.
"You can if you want" Star said quietly. Everyone nodded knowing it was her turn to ask someone.
"Iceberg truth or dare?" she asked.
"Dare" Iceberg said as soon as Star finished.
"I dare you to... oh this is hard ok walk up to a random dragon and give them a hug?" she said unsure of if this was a good dare.
"Ok I can do that" Iceberg replied her face determined. I didn't think she would accept it that fast she obviously wanted to one up us which I expected. Iceberg stood and exited the room we followed after her to see her walking up to some SandWing. Iceberg quickly hugged her and walked back us the SandWing looked quite confused. I gave a quick wave and followed the group back into our cave.
"That sucked!" Iceberg said probably regreting her choices. Mountain was on the verge of laughing Rain was in a similar state Star was laughing and Seaweed seemed to feel the same way I felt it wasn't that funny I don't know my sense of humor wasn't really on par with what happend.
"Coyote truth or dare" Iceberg said quickly I was surprised that she said it that fast, I thought for a second I felt more comfortable playing this game.
"Dare" I replied quickly ready for whatever the dare was.
"I dare you to... close your eyes untill your next turn" she said. I was kinda surprised it was a lot better then expected, I closed my eyes I wouldn't get to open them untill someone chooses me.
"Ok my turn" I said. "Rain truth or dare" I said looking over at where I think Rain was.
"Oh uh Dare" she replied.
"This isn't gonna be great for me but yeah, I dare you to turn bright pink for the rest of the game I can't see it though" I said shrugging.
"Oh ok" she said I wasn't sure if she followed my dare as I couldn't see.
"Ok Star truth or dare?" Rain said I listened in for her answer.
"Truth" she said. Rain started to chuckle menacingly, this was going to be bad.
"Do you have a crush?" Rain asked I could tell by her voice that she meant no real harm but that question was kinda crazy for our first game. Star sqeaked which was an expected reaction. It sounded by the others reaction she nodded but my eyes still being closed I didn't know for sure. "Why don't you say it out loud? Coyote can't see" Rain added. Star sighed.
"Yes I do" Star said. I was kinda surprised I don't really know why.
"Seaweed truth or dare" Star said, just then a gong rang.
"Hey it must be 7:45" I said. "Wait can I open my eyes now?" I added.
"Yeah sure" Seaweed said I opened my eyes seeing Rain in a bright pink shade before she turned to a light blue with darker spots around her body.
"So wanna head to the great hall?" I asked, everyone nodded with excitment we walked past the music room and history untill we arrived at the great hall there were streamers and banners all around the great hall the room being lit by a few torches about ten dragons were in the great hall Clay, Sunny and Tsunami were on the stage on the corner there was about 4 dragons with a few different instruments the only other students there were in the middle talking a MudWing, IceWing and a NightWing there was also a cabybara walking around? Must be a pet I thought though it wasn't the best place for it since there were dragons at the school that wouldn't mind a snack. We walked in there was a rope on the ground that we stepped over it probably stopped students from getting in before 7:45. The group of dragons heard us and looked over the NightWing seemed a lot more excited then the other two wait thats the dragon that came up to us at lunch. The NightWing gestured to Star.
"Sorry guys I got to go" Star said as she started walking over to the NightWing.
"See ya" I called after her. "Well what do we do now?" I asked turning around to face the group.
"I don't know" Mountain said shrugging. I looked around the room a bit better there was a table with fish raw and cooked, cooked chicken, a deer I think, some different fruits and a red liquid in a bowl surrounded by coconuts the sign said it was a new type of drink using different juices from fruits. I thought I might try it later I wasn't sold on the idea I know RainWings would probably love this stuff. We stood around for the next 15 minutes I sometimes pet the capybara by the time it was 8:00 all the dragons were there I didn't see Webs or Starflight but that was it I was pretty sure everyone except those were here unless I forgot someone. The band played some fast paced music I wasn't really sure what to do a few dragons were dancing together a lot of dragons at the food table mostly MudWings Mountain was talking with Rain and some other SkyWing, Seaweed was trying all the snacks and drinks at the food table it wasn't to surprising, I couldn't even find Iceberg. Star was talking with the same NightWing untill she looked over and we locked eyes I gave her a wave she gestured to me to come over so I started approaching them. Once I reached their small group.
"LightFang this is Coyote!" Star exclaimed. "He's in my winglet" Star continued. LightFang waved at me, Star turned to face me. "Coyotoe this is LightFang" Star said I returned LightFangs wave I scanned him a bit better, he had darker scales and deep purple on his under belly he also had green eyes. For some reason there was a bit of tension in the air Star must have noticed since she asked LightFang if anything is wrong.
"No nothing is wrong" LightFang replied I could tell he was lying.
"Excuse us Coyote we just need to talk for a second." Star said I shrugged walking away a bit to let them talk. As I was backing up I bumped into somebody I turned around it was the SandWing from when Iceberg had to do that dare. Getting a better look she was beautiful with golden spiral around her horns she had earring that looked like dimonds.
"Sorry!" I said. "I didn't mean to" I added.
"Oh its quite alright, wait your that SandWing!" She said.
"Oh yeah I'm sorry about that it was a dare, for the IceWing." I said.
"Whats your name?" she asked curiosly.
"Oh its Coyote, why?" I asked wondering why she would want to know.
"Mines Amber, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out I don't know anyone else and you seem cool" Amber said.
"Oh yeah sure why don't you come over to my friends and we can hang out as a group." I offered, Amber nodded agreeing with me.
"Thanks!" she said. She started following me to where Star and LightFang were.
"Hey guys, done talking?" I asked walking up to them.
"Oh yeah we are" Star said. Amber came up to us.
"This is Amber" I said pointing to her, she waved at them.
"Amber this is LightFang and Star." I said to her I looked over at the other two NightWings they had oppisite expressions LightFang was looking quite happy and Star looked dissapointed. "Something wrong?" I asked.
"Oh nothing" Star said changing her expression. The party was fine after that we talked a bit and got some chicken but not much happend after that it was my first party and it was great about 2 hours later everyone started to head back to their rooms even the band started to pack up.
"We should head to our rooms now right?" I said. The others nodded.
"We should let each other know which winglets we're in right?" LightFang said.
"Oh yeah sure" Star said. "So me and Coyote are in the Silver winglet" Star added.
"I'm in the Gold winglet" Amber said.
"I'm in the Bronze winglet" LightFang said.
"Well I'm gonna get going!" I said. "Hope I see you guys around" I motioned to Amber and LightFang as I said this I started to walk out waving at them. Soon after I reached our room I was the first one here I climbed up onto my ledge and collapsed onto my mat I didn't realize I was so tired from all that was happening I closed my eyes soon falling asleep.
